Foreign Royals at the Coronation of King Charles III
Even though we now know that the coronation on May 6th will not be a tiara event, I'll still keep a running list of foreign royals that have confirmed attendance. Traditionally other monarchs don't attend coronations in the United Kingdom unless they are from a Commonwealth country (Brunei, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malaysia, and Tonga) but they are doing away with that this time around.

Serbia - Crown Prince Alexander & Crown Princess Katherine
Hello duchess! I’m new to royal watch and I just found out that queen Margareth of Denmark sister is also a queen! Is royals marrying other royals common nowadays or do you think we won’t see royals marrying royals for a long time now?
My name's Jessica :) It is not as common as it used to be. Most of the inter-royal marriages are amongst those who are over 60 or they're deposed royals whose titles don't mean anything (you regularly see the pretender to some tiny German throne marrying the pretender to a throne of an Eastern European nation that doesn't exist anymore etc). Some examples (not an exhaustive list before people start with the THIS PERSON IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE nonsense):
Anne Marie is Queen Margrethe of Denmark's sister and married King Constantine of Greece.
Constantine's sister Sofia married King Juan Carlos of Spain
Princess Caroline of Monaco is still legally married to Prince Ernst August of Hanover (they live apart).
Princess Haya of Jordan - half sister of the King of Jordan - recently divorced Sheih Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the Ruler of Dubai
Princess Margaretha is the sister of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and is married to the brother of Prince Hans-Adam of Liechtenstein
Lots of royals married into German or Austrian houses including Princess Birgitta who is the sister of the King of Sweden, Princess Astrid who is the sister of the King of Belgium, Margrethe and Sofia's other sister Princess Benedikte, Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg's other sister Marie-Astrid etc, Prince Alois of Liechtenstein who is the heir and married a Bavarian royal.
It's not the case that royals all got some sort of memo saying they couldn't marry each other any more. It was just a natural thing. They no longer had to marry each other because countries didn't forge political alliances that way anymore. They had all been fighting each other during the wars so it was safer to marry someone from your own country. And then over time they started to go to ordinary schools or go to university with normal people or go clubbing and societal attitudes shifted and so they met different kinds of people than their ancestors would have met. So I don't think for a second that William and Kate or Victoria and Daniel are whispering into their kids' ears at night trying to convince them not to marry a royal, but whereas their ancestors might have had a pool of 10 eligible candidates to draw from because they only went to debutante balls and hunting trips with other royals, now they have access to essentially an unlimited number of people and so the probability has dropped that it will be another member of this comparatively small social class

A Royal Greeting! Prince Charles Is Joined by Queen Letizia of Spain for Rare Joint Outing
An art exhibition hundreds of years in the making brought Spain's Queen Letizia to England
He's a future King and she's a Queen, but Prince Charles and Queen Letizia of Spain greeted each other like dear friends.
Queen Letizia received a warm welcome from Prince Charles on Tuesday at England's Auckland Castle. Although Prince Charles, 73, became known for greeting people with "namaste" — a traditional Hindu greeting where the palms are pressed together and accompanied with a slight bow — during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, he said hello to Letizia, 49, with a kiss on her hand and cheek.
The two royals reunited in the U.K. to view a new exhibition of Spanish art by Francisco de Zurbarán. The exhibit has been housed in Auckland Castle for over 250 years. Zurbarán's Jacob and His Twelve Sons, based on the biblical story, were painted between 1641 and 1658 and accessible only to the guests of the Bishop of Durham in the castle's Long Dining Room.
The Zurbarán series was in danger of being sold off by the Church of England Commission, but philanthropic financier Jonathan Ruffer purchased the paintings in 2012. He also bought the castle, where the historic works will be displayed for the public
Queen Letizia was among the royals from around Europe who traveled to London last week to attend the Service of Thanksgiving honoring Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey. She joined Queen Elizabeth and several other members of the royal family in wearing a color with special significance: a dark green hue which was the color of Prince Philip's official livery. Known as "Edinburgh Green," it has been used for staff uniforms and private cars. A green Land Rover was also used to carry Prince Philip's coffin at his funeral last April.
Queen Letizia was joined by her husband, King Felipe of Spain, at the service.
Other foreign royals to attend the service included King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands with his wife, Queen Maxima, and his mother, Princess Beatrix; Prince Albert of Monaco; King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden; Queen Margrethe of Denmark; Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece; and King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium.

[[ Biography ]]
Louis-Auguste de Bourbon was born at the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye on 31 March 1670. He was named Louis after his father[2] and Auguste after the Roman Emperor Augustus. Immediately after his birth, Louis-Auguste was placed in the care of one of his mother's acquaintances, the widowed Madame Scarron, who took him to live in a house on rue de Vaugirard, near the Luxembourg Palace in Paris. His siblings, Louis-César, Louise-Françoise and Louise Marie Anne de Bourbon were also brought there after their births. Their mother, living with the king at Versailles, rarely saw her children, and Madame Scarron took the place of mother in Louis-Auguste's affections.
One of his legs was shorter than the other and Scarron took him to consult, first, a famous quack at Antwerp and later to the waters of Bareges, a small town near the Pyrenees, whither they traveled incognito (she as the marquise de Surgeres). On 19 December 1673, when Louis-Auguste was three years old, Louis XIV legitimised his children by Montespan by letters patent registered by the Parlement de Paris. At this time, Louis-Auguste received the title of duc du Maine. In 1674, at the age of four, Louis-Auguste and his siblings were officially introduced to the court at Versailles. In the same year, he was made a colonel-general of the Swiss Guards. Du Maine's greatest enemy at court became his father's sister-in-law, the duchesse d'Orléans, known at court as Madame.
In her famous correspondence describing life at Versailles, Madame claimed that du Maine was not the son of the king Louis XIV showered him with gifts and titles, and hired the best tutors for him. The maréchal du Luxembourg, a famous military strategist, was put in charge of the child's military training. Despite this, Louis-Auguste never became more than a mediocre soldier. He was made Grand Maître de France. The king also blackmailed his cousin, the wealthy La Grande Mademoiselle, into ceding some of her estates to du Maine in return for the liberation of her imprisoned lover, Antoine Nompar de Caumont, Duke of Lauzun. As a result, Louis-Auguste became the comte d'Eu, sovereign Prince of the Dombes, and duc d'Aumale. He also received the governorship of Languedoc and was awarded the Order of the Holy Spirit.
