This also might explain why he didn’t buy Lunalu’s first book (in Grand Blues) but did the second, actually. She was less stressed out, knew what she wanted to write, and was confident enough to offer it to him directly!

I don't know if anybody's mentioned this before, but as a writer I thought it was interesting. (Also bear in mind this is 90% Google Translate and 10% me adjusting one or two lines with brackets so they're less clunky. ^^; I welcome a more skilled hand at this!)

So during the Belial's Room/Q&A segment in the 2022-2023 GBF Winter Fes (link to youtube video here), a fanfic/doujin writer sent in a question. They asked what Belial thought was better, "Don't worry and just write your work" or "Writing slowly and meticulously to perfection". His answer was actually very thoughtful, and telling:

"It may not be a direct answer, but what's important is...isn't it about expressing [your libido]? What I'm attracted to is, this is a work written by the writer as he likes. I don't mind if there are some imperfections. I drool when I see [works where creators express my/their* emotions]."

Then he mentions Lunalu and her tendency to scramble to meet deadlines, adding "That said, you should have some leeway in your schedule."

I get the feeling Belial's actual writer was involved in writing these. (That's probably obvious, but it echoes themes from the Lunalu events which the writer also worked on, so...)

*Phrased it like this because there's this tricky nuance of "writing expressing my emotions back to me", but also with the context of "writers expressing themselves and their emotions". This felt like the best compromise.
