You and Hugh were the stars of the biggest movie, Wolverine and Ladypool, and fans love the two of you.

[Here's p2, thank you for loving the last one and being as obsessed as I am. I hope i got everyone on the tag list and the second part to Ladypool and Wolverine is on its way. Again this isn't proof read, this is just vibes. There's some sexual innuendos and sexist comments that Hugh is at the rescue for. Also, i'm British so half of these interviews just end up being British icons]

part one

You and Hugh being in love for twenty-five minutes (part two)

2017, Y/N heart monitor

You were doing an interview for your latest movie with Nick Grimshaw on BBC radio one. It was a new thing he'd come up with, trying it with you for the first time as you were hooked up to a heart rate monitor.

'Is it working?' asked Nick. 'Is she alive?'

You help him put the stickers onto you. 'It's like, there's nothing there,' you joke with them.

'She's a robot.'

The beeping began and it found your heart beating at a steady pace, a good start.

'So, I'm going to show you a series of images and we're just gonna see how you react to these images, ok?' he asked.

You grin, nerves kicking in. 'Ok.' It could have been anything. And boy were you right.

Some of them were fine, easy, normal. A picture of a co-star the heart rate was fine, a pair of shoes that you wore a lot, a picture of cash and an ex that had it risen but not alarmingly.

'And finally,' Nick picked up an image. 'Hugh Jackman! How does he make you feel?'

Your cheeks go red and you laugh. 'I hate you all so much, um, Hugh Jackman?' you were too busy laughing. Once you had made a joke about Wolverine and how good looking he was, now it was following you everywhere.

'Heartbeats rising!' Nick cheered as you covered your face. 'Heartbeats the highest it's ever been, eighty-five, up to ninety! One hundred!' he claps.

You bang your head on the table, finally finding control over yourself. 'I can't believe you all.'

Nick slid the picture over to you. 'Here, you can take that one home with you.'

'Thanks. He looks great there, doesn't he?' you say. 'A classic, Hugh Jackman picture.'

'Yeah, you like it?' he teased.

You grinned. 'That's going on my wall when I get home.'

The Graham Norton show

You and Hugh had walked out, waving at the adorning crowd that cheered as you took the sofa.

‘Hello! Hello!’ Graham called.

The two of you looked the pair as you smiled and sat next to each other in spite of the space on the sofa.

‘Sofa to ourselves, i like that,’ you say, lying back.

‘The other guests were too intimidated,’ said Graham. ‘Now, was the walk out ok for you guys, Hugh, are you happy?’ He asked.

Hugh frowned. The crowd laughed. ‘It was very good, thank you.’

‘Because, is it true- and Y/N correct me if I’m wrong, you had a specific song you walked out onto set with?’ He asked.

Immediately knowing what he was talking about, you laugh while Hugh hangs his head and sighs.

You sat straight and took to explaining while patting his back. ‘You see, it’s very tough for Hugh to get into character as Wolverine sometimes. So the only way was to get him out the trailer was to play a specific song.’

‘Ok, ok so shall we do it again, this time with the song?’ Graham proposed. He ushered you both backstage, Hugh squeezing your shoulders as you went.

‘Whatta a man’ by salt and pepper started playing and you led the way out for Hugh who danced his way out. The crowd clapped along as Hugh shows his moves and ended with dipping.

‘Oh wonderful!’ Graham called as the two of you took your seats again.

For the rest of the interview thing went very smoothly.

‘Now is is true that the first time you met, Hugh, you didn’t actually meet Y/N?’

Hugh again huffed and shook his head. ‘This show is all to embarrass me, isn’t it?’

‘Makes a change honestly,’ you say.

Hugh looked back to you and started to tell the story. Through out, his body had moved toward you, his entire presence facing you despite talking out to everyone. ‘When I first walked on set, you know, at the ready, I was very excited to be there and even more excited to meet this wonderful lady here. And I got suited up, you know, went to hair and makeup and one of our first shots was quite a challenging one, a big stunt.’

‘Big,’ you agreed, taking a sip of your drink. You knew where the story was going.

‘Yea, so anyway, I walk over to Y/N whose already in her suit. Looks great by the way. Anyway so I start introducing myself and saying hello and how thankful I am for being here, a real heart to heart you know-‘ he says, ‘and then Y/N walked in and i realized I’d been speaking to her stunt double the whole time- whole time!’

The crowd laugh as do you, almost choking on your drink.

Wolverine and Ladypool press:

You and Hugh sat with each other all day doing press. You kept it light with jokes between the two of you, working through the people and questions.

One particular interviewer just had to get his answers though. ‘So your suit,’ he starts, looking to you. ‘It’s very tight and eventuated several parts of you, did you find that hard to manoeuvre around?’

Hugh answered before you had the chance to open your mouth. ‘I found it very easy to move around in. You know, first x-men movie, not so much but these suits, are perfect.’

The guy chuckled, it was clearly forced but you thanked Hugh for taking the question, patting his knee. ‘Can you wear like panties with them or thongs, cause they are skin tight.’

‘I’ll take this one!’ Said Hugh again. ‘I go commando, but that’s just because I like it.’

‘He does, he does like it,’ you nod, grinning. ‘He’s going commando right now actually.’

The guy tried one more time to ask you a question about the suit. At this rate, your entire body turned to face Hugh. ‘Do you feel sexy in the suit?’ He asked you.

‘Very,’ said Hugh.

After that, Hugh made several vulgar comments when you were alone, but luckily for you, Hugh was your own superhero.

'Hello!' you greet the camera, holding your phone to your chest. 'I'm something-something Jackman.'

'And i'm the greatest actress of all time,' said Hugh.

You deflated, looking at him. 'Oh, well now I just look like a dick.'

'No, it's ok,' he shrugged. 'One of us has to look like a dick.'

The two of you were doing quizzes for Buzzfeed, answering if you're more Ladypool or Wolverine. Although you were sat next to each other, you'd both craned your bodies back so the other couldn't see what you were putting in, like it was a test.

'We're really competitive with each other,' Hugh told the crew.

'Yeah, not with anybody else, but I have to- I just have to prove i'm better than Hugh Jackman at something,' you said.

'Who are you hoping to get?' asked the lady behind the camera.

'Oh, Ladypool, obviously,' you said.

Hugh nodded along, watching you. (Did this man ever not look at you?) 'I wouldn't be angry about getting Ladypool either.'

You tut. 'So quick to betray yourself.'

If you could have a super power, what would you chose?

You read through the options. 'I think telekinesis,' you said. 'Mainly just because I'm lazy and it would be so easy to pick up the tv remote or close the curtains. Very practical.'

'Yeah, that's a good one,' Hugh hummed about it for longer. 'Maybe healing ability.'

You roll your eyes, throwing your head back. 'That's such a Wolverine answer!'

'I know, but I'm getting old, be nice for things to not hurt a lot,' he said.

Who's your favourite MCU character?

Hugh scanned the options. 'I er, don't see Wolverine on here?' he looked around at the crew behind the camera's shaking his head.

'Can't get the staff these days- oh my god Spider-Man's on here!' you cheered, distracted.

'She loves Spider-Man,' Hugh told the camera.

'I do. I really do,' you agreed. 'If it wasn't gonna be Wolvie, it was gonna be Spidey,' you look into the camera, holding your phone to your ear, mimicking for Andrew Garfield to call you.

Hugh dragged his finger of his neck in a cutting off motion if he ever did.

Who do you pick to be your road-trip buddy?

'You have to pick the Wolverine, c'mon,' Hugh nudged you.

You looked through the options which all considered x-men. You hesitated, humming. 'I dunno.'

'We had great fun in the car!'

A red blush took over your cheeks as you re-called the multiple, multiple takes you and Hugh had to do. Hugh saw this and draped his arm over the back of your chair.

'Yeah, but that was- that was different, this is a roadtrip not a porn video in a car,' you joked. 'And Wolverine's like so serious, Rogue, she's so fun.'

'Woah, woah,' Hugh paused everything. 'Rogue is great, don't get me wrong. But who's better!' he pointed at himself. 'Wolverine's not grumpy with you, he loves you!'

You look over at him, grinning sweetly. 'No, you love me and it's judging your character.' For five minutes, the two of you argued over who you'd rather have as a road-trip buddy. Most of it got sped up during the video. 'Ok, fine, I pick Wolverine. Who are you picking?'

'Charles,' said Hugh even though Ladypool was on the list.

You faced the camera, mouth hung open as Hugh laughed loudly and gave you a side hug, assuring you it was a joke but he still clicked on Charles!

Which musical number would you want to perform with your 'Wolverine and Ladypool' cast mate?

'Oh, some great choices!' boasted Hugh as he read through them all.

You smile at him, eyes softening. 'You've awakened the musical theatre beast.'

'Y/n, there's so many good choices! What do we pick?!' he grabbed your hand and squeezed as you watched him with joy.

There was a few choices: 'Love is an Open Door,' from Frozen, 'The other side,' which Hugh obviously did for The Greatest showman. But there was also 'The Love Melody' from Moulin Rouge and 'You're the one that I want,' from Grease and when you both saw that you gave each other a look and knew which one you were picking.

By the end when your results came up you cheered and punched the air, practically jumping out you seat. 'Ladypool! God, this felt like my audition for the character all over again,' you wipe pretend sweat from your brows. 'What did you get?'

Hugh showed you his phone. 'Ladypool! I got Ladypool!'

'We're so alike!' you entwined your fingers. Slowly and dramatically the two of you leant in, pretending you were going in for what would have been a very wet kiss before you both pulled back and explained your answers.

You and Hugh with Alison Hammond again!

The interview with the two of you and Alison Hammond was pretty much the two of you flirting and Alison fangirling. Fans couldn't stop editing it together.

'Ok so obviously there's been a lot of competition between the two of you, so we need to settle who's better once and for all,' said Alison. 'So i've got a series of challenges for the two of you to complete but there's a twist.'

'We're naked!' said Hugh causing you to laugh. 'No, sorry.'

Alison handed you both each a boxing glove. 'I want you to put one on each and sign your autographs, which ever is close wins the point.'

'You're on, Jackman,' you said, already sliding your hand into the boxing glove.

Hugh gave you a cocky smile. 'I am so gonna win this, you know why? Cause you've given me a right boxing glove, but i'm left-handed!' he quickly got to scribbling his autograph.

'Fuck!' you cursed, struggling with your own. (It was bleeped out on this morning).

When you handed them both back to Alison it was obvious who the winner was. 'Thanks for this guys, it'll do numbers on Ebay.'

The two of you practically topple on each other with how hard you laugh.

Next you had to try to open a bottle of water with your gloves on and pour it into glasses and try drinking from it, both of which you failed at. Then the two of you just started fighting each other so Alison called it off like she was your teacher in a rowdy class.

'So, as I am a morning presenter, I thought I'd see how good the two of you would be if you had your own Hugh and Y/N morning show- so here's some guards, scoot closer, scoot closer,' said Alison.

The two of you took the cards and moved your chairs together until your thighs were pressed together. You waited for your cue before the two of you began your audition for your own morning show.

Hugh threw his arm around your shoulder, drawing you in.

'No, Hugh,' you denied, 'we must be professional on tv!'

Alison cackled. 'Yeah, you wouldn't do that on tv.'

Hugh looked offended at the both of you. 'We're re-defining what it means!'

You push him off you and hit him with your cards.

Hugh assesses the camera. 'Where's the shot? Above our chests, perfect, so I can do this.' And he puts his hand on your thigh, sprawling it out as you bite your lip to stop the grin.

'I'm taking this audition seriously, Hugh!'

Finally, the two of you start, acting as if it was a real morning show while Alison gave you pointers.

'Did you have a good weekend?' Hugh asked you (in reality all your weekends had been spent in his company) 'What did you get up to?'

You shrug. 'Nothing much.'

'No,' he interrupted causing you and Alison to laugh. 'When I ask a generic how was your weekend, you have to tell me a great funny story that we've set up before. So, Y/N, what did you do on your weekend?'

'I went fishing,' you said the first thing that popped into your head.

'Did you fall in?' he asked.

'I fell in.'

'That's hilarious!' the way he said it and the way he looked into the camera, caring about it just made you laugh so bad. 'Don't go anywhere, we'll see you after the break!' you were still laughing when Hugh wrapped his arms around you and nuzzled into your neck, making kissing noises and hiding behind the cards.

You and Hugh stood next to each other, him keeping an arm around your waist as you both listened to the interviewer ask you questions.

'So, Y/N, we found this interview from 2017 and we thought Hugh might like to take a look at it,' they said, pulling out their phone and clicking on a video.

As soon as it started playing, you knew what it was. 'Oh god.' you hid yourself, turning to Hugh as he watched.

It was the famous heart-rate monitor interview, where, when you saw a picture of a shirtless Hugh Jackman, your heart-rate spiked higher than any other picture.

Hugh was smiling the whole time and beamed at you when the video finished. 'You have that effect on me,' he assured you, leaning his head on top of yours and smiling at the interviewer.

'Y/N, do you still feel that way when you look at him now?' they asked.

'More,' you said, speaking loudly over all the noise. 'I feel it ten times more.'

And fans, anyone, could see how much the two of you were in love. Whether it was just flirting or if it was real, it was there and everyone was happy for you.

As the two of you walked off, the camera followed you. Hugh's head was bowed low, seemingly taking low to you as his arm remained around your waist and yours came up to rub his back up and down. He laughed loudly at something you had said before dropping a kiss to the top of your head and continuing on the journey.

BTS in the UK Part One: 2017- 2018

On 25th September 2017, BTS had its first play on UK Radio with DNA. The song was played by Olivia Jones on TheHitsRadio. This was followed on 2nd October, with the first play of DNA on BBC1 Radio with Adele Roberts, who would interview BTS later on.

Olivia interviewed Namjoon a month later, for their first UK interview. Namjoon was aware that UKArmy had sent her purple flowers as a “thank you” for playing DNA. He also mentioned chartings and wanting to go to the UK, which they were meant to do in 2017.

Adele Roberts interviewed BTS in South Korea and filmed some dance practice behinds.

The LG x BTS Advert was played at Piccadilly Circus during the summer of 2018.

The O2 Tube posted a photo of the board with BTS track names and lyrics. 

BTS performed at a sold out O2 Arena in October 2018. UKArmy were hyped up before the concert even began, by singing the songs playing out around the arena. 

Big Hit announced online that Jungkook had injured his heel and was advised to not dance on stage. At the venue, their interpreter relayed the same information. UKArmy responded by chanting Jungkook's name in support.

Backstage, Jungkook had indeed injured himself whilst warming up. The members and staff comforted him as they weighed up their options.

Jungkook went to get his stitches and the rest of the group discussed the adaptations that would need to be made. The members spoke to each other over the mics and then got into position as the concert began.

The concert continued with high energy and all the members did their best, whilst including Jungkook in the songs.

The next day, Jungkook tried to convince the members to let him walk around during the medley. Jin then wheeled him and the concert began. Showing their great teamwork as they continued to work hard on stage.

Hollywood!AU idea....so what happens if the boys get some rough media coverage....people are speculating that there's 'trouble in paradise' because they haven't been pictured together for ages (due to conflicting schedules, plus a desire to avoid to spotlight etc)....and the one time they're seen together they both look grumpy (they're FINE just jetlagged).....THEN John is pictured in a compromising position during a cast wrap party with a cast member (totally innocent, it just *looks* bad) and it goes viral....cue manic press/social media speculation they're heading for divorce.... :O :O

The air in the room is heavy, the August heat of Cyprus oppressing even with the AC humming in the background. Bucky is strangely unbothered by it, however; he's sleepy from a heavy lunch at the beach bar, his muscles pleasantly sore from sleeping more than usual, swimming in the ocean and enjoying time with his husband. They're on day three of a much needed week-long vacation, Gale's already tanned hand is absentmindedly playing with his curls where his head lies on his lap on the hotel room's ridiculously luxurious bed, and all in all life is pretty fucking great for John Egan.

Well, mostly. Bucky frowns as he opens the link Curt has sent him accompanied with skull emojis when they were at the beach, and then sighs as he's faced with yet another article with the same goddamn picture that's been following them ever since it was a taken by a paparazzi three months ago. He starts reading the text despite his better judgement.

NEW 'CLEGAN' CRISIS RUMOURS SURGE AS JOHN EGAN'S UNUSUAL RADIO SILENCE CONTINUES -- A DETAILED TIMELINE OF WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR

It is no secret that Hollywood's favorite couple has been hitting a rough patch for the past year. After a fairytale wedding and seemingly endless sweetness from this dream pairing, increasing reports about marital spats have started to surface.

The couple kept their relationship secret until a shock revelation two years ago, but after tying the knot they seemed inseparable. For the past year their joint public appearances have however been more and more rare. Egan's husband, Gale Cleven-Egan, is known to value his privacy, and some fans have started to suspect that his husband is unhappy with his attempts to keep him from partying. Egan is known as something of a party animal, and many got confirmation to their suspicions that he has started to look for someone new to share a dance with when a candid picture of him getting hot and heavy with a co-star Bryan Charleston surfaced early last month. The picture showing Egan pulling Charleston close by his shirt front, and the blurry image showing only the back of Charleston's hair leaves room for a lot of speculation weather it was only words that was exchanged with the two at the wrap-party.

Next sign of trouble came in the immediate aftermath as the following week Egan and Cleven-Egan were pictured arriving to Cannes together. Even the beautiful weather in the festival area couldn't hide the obvious icy tenseness between the pair, Cleven in particular keeping his distance despite the two attempting to keep up appearances for the photo call.

What is making the situation seem much more serious is Egan's unusual silence on the matter. Usually one to never shy away from screaming his love from the rooftops, Egan's social media accounts have stayed without updates through these troubling times, feeding the rumors. Ever since his appearance at Graham Norton last week to end his European press tour Egan has once again completely disappeared from public along with his current husband. Sources say that the two are taking time apart to decide how to continue on.

John's angry scoff tears Gale's attention from his one phone that he's been staring at thoughtfully. "What?" ”Apparently we’re taking some time apart," John says, surprised by the volume of his own reaction but unable to help it, "you could’ve warned me at least. I was just starting to have a good time.”

Gale hums, soothing fingers still massaging Bucky's head lazily. ”Funny, mine says we’re already divorced, confirmed by sources close to us.” Bucky looks up to him in question and Gale turns the screen of his phone to him, showing another similarly headlined article on another gossip magazine. He groans in response and crosses his arms like a defiant child.

"It's nuts how people can print just whatever they want these days." Gale makes an agreeing sound, but his face has turned more somber. "I'm starting to think it should've just been easier to not lean into my vanity and let them photograph me with the braces on. I just figured since I needed them for such a short time, and you were anyway filming away-" "Nonsense," Bucky interrupts him, the only thing overcoming his own anger at the shit he has to read about his marriage the need to always reassure Gale that none of the shit makes him annoyed at him, "we should be allowed to not be in public when we don't feel like, no matter what the reason is. I've been filming around the world for long periods of time the whole time we've been dating or married and it has never before lead to this kind of bullshit, must just be a real slow news cycle this summer."

Gale sighs but John can feel some of the tenseness bleeding out of him again. It's so silly, all of it, or it would be if it wasn't so goddamn insulting: especially the implications of him cheating on his husband cut him deep. The fact that the picture of him almost getting into a fight with that asshole Bryan at the wrap-party after one too many insult at movie's leading lady's actress getting completely misinterpreted in the media is one thing, Gale asking him not to post his picture until the short term dental work is done is another, and especially he'd love to just laugh at the fact that their competition coming out while playing battleship with one another on the plane resulted in fucking divorce rumors, but all of them put together being enough for so many people to question his love for Gale seems so unfair he can't even laugh at the ridiculousness of it all anymore.

He's just about to take Gale's picture then and there (he's gotten the braces off the week before coming here, just some comestic correction he wasn't able to get a child but now started to bother him as they get so much media attention) despite promising himself not to take the bait and post just because people are asking him to, Gale gasps. ”Hey! I’ve got an affair too!” Bucky exhales in mock shock as he sits up and covers his mouth with his hand. ”Oh my god, with who?!”

Gale keeps reading and suddenly gasps even louder. ”What, what?” Bucky asks, trying to fight the laughter bubbling from him - seeing Gale this silly is always a treat he gets to enjoy during vacations. ”This is the plot twist of the century, you're not ready for it." "Tell me, tell me!" "You're not gonna believe it... So, apparently me and Curt had already been seeming closer lately-”

A squaky, surprised laughter does punch it's way out of John that time despite his efforts. ”NO-” ”And when he saw we were having issues he took his chance and swept in to comfort me.” ”That bastard,” Bucky whines and throws himself down to the bed again, arm dramatically thrown over his eyes, ”he played the longest of games, pretended to be my best friend for a decade only to betray me like this!”

Laughter is bubbling out of Gale now too as he puts his phone down, rubbing over his eyes. ”I’m the most insulted about the notion that I would sleep with my client. That would be unprofessional and the fact that they’d even imply such a thing is an attempted charachter assassination.” "... And he was my best man too, you really can't trust anybody these days..."

That leaves them both giggling for a moment until Gale leaves out a tired groan. "It's so not funny that it kinda is." Bucky hums in agreement, reaching to cup Gale's knee sticking from his shorts, and running his hand innocently up his thigh. Gale raises his eyebrow but humors him for the time being.

Bucky responds with a lazy smile until his expression turns mischievous, and Gale knows he's about to be teased. ”I have an important question regarding this topic, actually." "Yeah?" "If you could choose anyone, who would you cheat on me with?” ”Oh come on-” ”No, for real. I’m not being jealous. I just need to know you respect me enough to have higher standards than Curt for your next affair.”

Gale makes an annoyed sound and swats his hand away. Bucky doesn't let him off so easy, though, instead throwing his whole body over Gale's in a sweaty mess, elbows propped on both sides of his head. Gale looks up at him lazily, lying on the bed all relaxed while simultaneously staring up at him with challenge in his eyes, and John was just teasing before but a familiar desire licks up his insides right then. He doesn't fight the urge to kiss him before leaning back and biting at his neck gently, making Gale breathe out as he expertly hits his most sensitive spot.

"Humor me," Bucky whispers before taking his earlobe between his teeth. Gale whines deep in his throat but finally sighs and relents. ”If I absolutely needed to choose someone... I have thought for a long time that one night with 50s Marlon Brando would change my outlook on life.” Bucky chuckles lowly at his ear. ”So does that mean 1950s or his 50s?” The constellation of love bites on Gale's shoulder is starting to be to his liking, but there's always room for improvement, so he goes back to work. Gale purrs like a cat when he does.

”Mhm. Either. Both. At the same time.” ”Oh mister Cleven-Egan how scandalous you are! No wonder the press is tailing you closely.” Gale groans, not from pleasure that time, and pushes Bucky's face away. They wrestle on the bed for a moment, all the tenseness gone like it never entered this private paradise that is their shared little world.

Bucky ends up on his back with Gale straddling his hips and licking on his neck this time, and he's about to get them much more sweaty in a second, but he can't help but tease just a little more. ”Lucky for me, then.” Gale doesn't seem to be particularly keen on following a conversation much longer. ”Hm?” he breathes against his sensitive neck, and Bucky swallows hard. ”Brando is dead.” Gale leans back to be able to look into his eyes. ”He sure is,” he says slowly, and Bucky smirks and squeezes Gale's ass with both hands. ”Skill issue.”

The answering exclamation of ”John!” is a mixture of surprise, amusement and exasperation - pretty much the usual cocktail of emotions Bucky manages to get from Gale at any given moment. ”What?! He has more Oscars still, but he never got to sleep with you so as far as I’m concerned I’m winning.”

Gale is shaking his head, his big you're-an-idiot-but-I-love-you-in-spite-of-it smile on his face. ”Mm," he agrees and licks up his face, "and how lucky am I to get to have you on your 20s and your 50s.”

John doesn't think about the tabloids for a few hours after that.

later that day bucky does post a video where he’s first looking dramatically out of the window with a black-and-white filter and a dramatic song, like ”hello” by adele playing in the background. on the next one he’s filming himself, badly thrown drops of water on his face mimicking crying. he takes a pointed deep breath before starting a monologue: ”does anyone have any tips on how to mend a broken heart?” gale has been casually in the background of the video just on his computer but this makes him glance up in confusion. bucky sniffs and pretends to wipe his eyes. ”something has been brought to my attention, and i’m sad to tell you…” there’s a dramatic pause, during which gale looks more and more unimpressed in the back, ”that curt is about to have his heart broken. i’ve taken his secret lover gale cleven-egan as a hostage.” gale stares at him for a second before hiding his face into his hands, the exasperated but amused grin over his features put away. bucky ignores him, just stares at the camera and lifts a finger to point at it. ”now i am a reasonable man. i suggest we do a good old fashioned fight over who gets him, mano-y-mano, some friendly wresting, no? we can have some people over to judge it but-” the video cuts short as gale reaches him and the phone shakes as he tries to take it from his hand.

they go viral. again. but somehow, this time they don’t mind as much, because the rumors die as quickly as the came.

It's another WIP Wednesday. Have some more dom!Alex/Actor!Henry AU. And hey, I'll throw in a teaser image as well.

"I’m Alex, by the way,” he says and Henry bobs his head and takes the offered hand to shake it. Alex’s hand is… well, big. His fingers are long and his palm is… Henry gives himself a little mental shake and let’s go of Alex’s hand, stepping back. “Henry,” he says and Alex grins. “I know,” he replies, not unkindly. Of course he knows. Henry’s face has been plastered on billboards up and down the country, across the globe, for the last six months, for three different projects, and even before that, he’s been a household name since he was twelve. More recently, he’s been on Good Morning America, Graham Norton, This Morning, Live with Kelly and Mark, Today, a thousand radio shows, more podcasts than he could name and has even done two puppy interviews for Buzzfeed. Or was it three? Alex steps further into the house, and Henry follows, a little lost. He wasn’t sure what to expect when Pez had suggested this, and so he’s not on even footing. He defaults to his most base instinct. “Tea?” He offers and Alex gives him a small smile over one shoulder.

Well, Betrayal sold out, but he still did some radio promo for it.

regarding the rob stringer ask that you answered, i was wondering why is rob stringer such a big deal.? also, this kinda got me intrigued, curious and angry(blacklisting of louis from uk radio) so i went on to research for myself and i fumbled upon this article: https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-51360192

it was the very first article that showed up, i didn't even need to dig, and it's directly by BBC, so is this BBC not the same as BBC radio or what..?

it's a little confusing for me cuz in my country nobody really pays any mind to radios and what they are playing and we usually stay tuned to our fave artists via tv shows, social media or simply music apps etc etc

Hi love. Rob Stringer is “a big deal” because he was head of Columbia when 1D were together and then head of Sony (parent company of Columbia) when Harry went solo (and Louis got stuck with Syco). So he’s had his fingers all over whatever contracts were signed by all of the guys, and most likely had plenty of decision making power over the closeting of HL and the blocking of Louis’ solo career.

BBC Radio and BBC TV are both divisions of the British Broadcasting Company. Louis having that disastrous interview on the Morning Show wasn’t the beginning of his being blocked from BBC radio. I think his blacklisting and image damage extends as far back as XFactor and Simon Cowell. There are many people involved and I don’t know if you can really point a finger at Simon or Rob Stringer and say that’s this is the key person responsible for it all. But, him appearing on that show and that article being written is just part of a very complex pattern of abuse he’s been subject to.

As for radio being important… I really don’t know why it seems to make a difference. I do think being nominated for The Brits or The Grammys doesn’t have without radio airplay and even if we know The Grammys are bullshit, it’s still great advertising and it’s still seen as prestigious in that you’re “accepted” by the music industry insiders.

But I think when people complain about him being blacklisted, they mean that he’s almost entirely absent from everything—radio for sure, but also radio concert events like Jingle Bell Ball/Summertime Ball, British talk shows like Graham Norton etc., British award shows (even the Rolling Stone UK award show was tainted by his performance being removed and his interview being publicized using Harry’s name).

I don’t buy into a lot of the stuff some solo fans talk about in terms of Louis’ career blockades, but for an artist who has such an ardent fanbase to be shut out of so many ways of advancing his career, you can’t help but assume there’s something underhanded happening.

random thoughts dump of the week bc none of this deserves its own post

coming down from a smol john kearns kick and really enjoyed it, guy has a ridiculously sweet presence and i really like his voice. it also brings me great joy his previous career was working in museums and as a tour guide. i would like that life, i think (i worked at universal orlando for a little bit in 2013 and was always super jealous of the vip tour guides lol). he mentioned on one of his rhlstps that despite winning arguably the biggest (british) comedy awards there are, he never released a standup special or dvd, and he kinda wants to keep it that way so he has something special between him and his live audience — and that really made me sad face. like, my guy, what about those of us who can't see you bc won't leave that damn island. (also ed gamble's new tour having no nyc date felt personal...) in another episode, he talked a little about, in great part due to social media, people want comedians they can know everything about, get the whole look of; comedians who are the same people onstage as off. he's not like that and doesn't really like the idea of that. i think there's a lot to say about that subject but i'll just leave it for now...

speaking of rhlstp and ed, one thing that occurred to me and i thought was quite funny upon listening to his recent episode is that both richard and ed have that self-aware side of them that admits to bitterness, professional jealousy, annoyance with critics/haters, believing they're not as successful as they deserve to be, etc. while it can come off whiney here and there, it's not too obnoxious or anything, i just found it amusing they had this (often concealed or private) quality in common. i might even put jenny eclair in that camp (others too but that's a discourse i don't really wanna start lmao)

if another youtuber, following amelia dimoldenberg (and munya? does he count?), had to go on taskmaster i would probably vote for ollie kendal off of jolly. in my mind he and alex would be genuinely good friends outside of the show

speaking of back in the day — and i do mean back, like 15+ years ago — and my main panel show obsession was buzzcocks, there were a few non-comedians who would come on panel shows who were properly fucking funny, like martin freeman and josh groban, and i'd always pray they'd eventually come on again. and i think at the time the person at the top of my list was professor green. how random is that TT he was just always up for laugh and just so likable. i also LOVED the song "just good to be green" with lily allen in like 2010 lmaooo this really ages me :)

been really enjoying some old angus deayton-hosted stuff, like old hignfy and wilty. i got into panel shows after he'd stepped out of the spotlight, but i remember being crushed when i found out about his scandal. i also remember stephen fry standing up for him and chastising paul & ian publicly after That Episode of hignfy — which absolutely blew my mind, even though stephen has always said what he thinks — and i agreed with him and am not sure even today if i fully forgave paul & ian for how they treated angus. ik he's still here and there, but i wonder if we'll ever see him in any properly notable capacity again

i've been making a lot of typos in my gifs lately for literally no reason other than not proofreading my rushing and it's embarrazzing i'm gonna do better

speaking of gifs i have NOTHING!!! in my drafts folder. nothing. no content. nothing is made. nothing in the queue. [sigh] sounds like tonight we be bustin it out huh. idk about other gifmakers (i actually don't follow any other panel show blogs, but this isn't necessarily a panel show blog thing, just a regular original content thing) but i don't usually make gifs throughout the week — instead, like, marathon gif like two times a week and build up 10–20 drafts to post throughout the week. if you gif every single day or to keep up with all of the new content, it starts to become a chore, which is never fun :(

speaking of which i probably won't gif outsiders too much because people don't seem to care too much about it + the webrips are just...so ugly in gif form, even at 1080p! it's a dave thing fr, taskmaster used to be the same way -_-
