IMO my pwhl free agent ranking of who’s still available
Please note I’m only doing players who were under contact last year and not undrafted free agents
Tier One: their phone should be buzzing
Daryl watts, Michela Cava, Hannah Miller, Kateřina Mrázová,
All these players were highly productive on their teams last season and are immediate impact players
Tier two: maybe not the first call, but should be highly sought after
Kaleigh Fratkin, Rebecca Leslie, Lauriane Rougeau, Gabrielle David, Claire Dalton, Abbey Levy, Sandra Abstreiter
These are proven players who had decent years, but may be called after tier one players and some draft picks get settled in to see where they fit in the roster .
Tier 3: building out your roster
Emma woods, Emma Greco, Lexie Adzija, Gigi Marvin, Amanda Pelkey, Sarah Bujold, Liz Schepers, Melissa Channell, Paetyn Levis, Kayla Vespa,
Fits into two groups; those who are Swiss army type middle six / pairing players who can play up and down the lineup. players who will still be third/fourth liners of depth defenders but were extremely effective in that spot, bumping them up a tier.
Tier Four: quality depth players
Madison Packer, Alexandra Labelle, Olivia Knowles, Carly Jackson, Sarah Lefort, Leah Lum, Jillian Dempsey, Madison Bizal, Catherine Dubois, Taylor Wenczkowski, Kelly babstock, Cami Kronish, Claire Butorac, Amanda Leveille, Lauren Bench, Shiann Darkangelo, Rachel McQuigge, Johanna Fällman, Lindsey post
Third/ fourth liners and third pair defender and goalies. Some of these players have a specific niche they fill, a lot are veterans, thus making me think they’ll get some early training camp invites. Unfortunately with a tight cap and limited spaces, it’s possible not all will be signed, but all will be considered
Tier four: reserves
Sam Cogan, Jess jones, Maude Poulin-Labelle, Jessica Kondas, Emma Keenan, Alexa Vasko, Kaitlin Willoughby, Liliane Perreault, Alexandra Poznikoff, Catherine Daoust, Madison Bizal, Brigitte Laganière, Nicole Kosta, Abby Cook, Brooke Bryant, Clair DeGeorge, Dominique Kremer, Nikki Nightengale, Akane Shiga, Rosalie Demers, Sammy Davis, Sam Isbell, Malia Schneider, Emma Buckles, Lauren MacInnis, Carley Olivier, Olivia Zafuto, Alexa Gruschow, Taylor Baker,
A lot of these players here either played little last year or were already reserves, or are playing a position/niche that is overcrowded. Many of these players are talented and could def earn a spot for a team that they gel right with, but likely wouldn’t be until after training camp. This tier is pretty close to tier three and probs a lot of overlap depending on a coaches evaluation of how players fit in their system
Tier ?: the unknown
Sydney Brodt, Mikyla Grant Mentis, Audrey-Anne Veillette, Ann-Sophie Bettez, Caitrin Lonergan, Fanni Garát-Gasparics, Kristin Della Rovere
These players did not play a lot last year due to various circumstances but were pretty impactful / took on high end roles when they did. Because of that, they separate themselves from other players who saw limited minutes and may be ore sought after. The exception is Veillette, who straight up DNP due to injury, but was thought pretty highly of when drafted. Bettez is also a weird one here because though she missed a lot this year, everyone knows what she’s capable of, but I don’t think she’d be willing to leave Montreal
#thoughts#tier four and five I’m not very set on a few players in those#a lot of things like straight up ice time went into that decision#and tended to give veteran players like darkangelo more grace to bump her up even#tho she didn’t have the greatest year#there’s also players like shiga and poulin labelle and kremer that I really really like in the reserve tier and want a spot for them#bc I think they could really find a place on this league#also this is me trying to think how I. think teams would see it and not my personal take#ie I’d probs have Dempsey higher#it was hard to totally vibe check the defense first players tho bc of how little#public stats we have to evaluate them so I may be wildly off on those#I am not able to go back and watch games with notes sadly

Only the greatest artists are able to maintain the freshness of discovery with the depth of thoughtfulness. Martha Argerich is one of them.
- Daniel Barenboim on pianist Martha Argerich
For all her international renown, the Argentine-Swiss classical concert pianist does not appear to be a natural virtuoso: Martha Argerich comes on stage a little shyly, dressed in a simple black top and full patterned skirt, a thick mass of grey hair clouding her face, she bows as if to say “Oh, so you’d like me to play the piano?”, sits at the piano, shakes back her hair… And then she plays…
A formidable, legendary pianist, there is an air of mystery surrounding Martha Argerich, in part due to her reluctance to give interviews and the rarity of her concert appearances (her concert sell out in minutes). She has never sought to cultivate the image of the superstar virtuoso. A prodigious, ferocious talent, Argerich is blessed with a photographic memory, enabling her to reproduce music after a single hearing. Her bravura technique is beyond comparison: she has a “thing for octaves” and can make the rapid octave passages in Tchaikovsky’s first piano concerto or Schumann’s Toccata, one of the most challenging works in the entire repertoire, look like child’s play. Behind that technical assuredness, is an artistry which makes you feel as if you are hearing familiar, well-known repertoire anew. That’s a remarkable skill in any pianist, but for someone in their late-70s who’s been performing for over half a century, it’s extraordinary.
In the 2012 film “Bloody Daughter” made by her youngest daughter, Stéphanie Argerich (Stephen Kovacevich’s daughter), the Argentine-born pianist Martha Argerich’s chaotic home life is revealed with honesty and affection. She likes to sleep beyond midday, spends time watching television or chatting to friends, and might practice the piano late in the evening. One senses a rebellion against the restrictive, highly-organised lifestyle of the international concert artist.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1941, she grew up learning the paino alongside another pianist prodigy and future maestro conductor, Daniel Barenboim. Both have maintained a life time friendship and have even played together.
Martha Argerich came to international attention when she won the International Chopin Piano Competition at the age of 24. Prior to that she had received support from Argentina’s President Peron who posted her diplomat father to Vienna so that she could study there. Despite her long and acclaimed career, she is prey to artistic insecurity, but sees this as an asset rather than a handicap, regarding it as a mark of a true artist who has not rested complacently on the laurels of their success. In the 1980s she decided to limit her solo work, stating that she found the on stage loneliness unbearable, and she much prefers to perform with others. Those ‘others’ being the world’s greatest orchestras and musicians, including her long-time friend Daniel Barenboim, cellist Mischa Maisky, Nelson Freire, violinist Gidon Kremer and conductor Claudio Abbado. Her repertoire is broad and varied; her performances and recordings of the concertos of Schumann, Liszt, Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev are especially wondrous.
And what of her playing? It’s quixotic, rhapsodic, exciting and mercurial. There’s something ineffable about her musical understanding and sensitivity, an acute awareness of pacing and rubato (which in other hands would sound contrived) and a glorious range of sound. Martha Argerich brings music to life with an unmatched colour and vibrancy, and an amazing naturalness which speaks of a life spent immersed in the repertoire. She combines power and grace, unafraid to take risks to the point that sometimes her playing seems on the verge of being slightly out of control, which makes it doubly thrilling, yet her playing is impressively precise. She also seems to genuinely enjoy herself when playing – you catch her smiling to herself, to the conductor. Her concerts are milestones, the experience forever etched into the memory to become the benchmark against which other performances are measured.

Heathcliff Comic/Houses of Spice Solve (Locker 47)
Heathcliff Comic: https://pangenttechnologies.tumblr.com/post/186580344347/heathcliff-39-nov-1989-marvel-comics-angelo Houses of Spice: https://pangenttechnologies.tumblr.com/post/186580131377/spice-girls-spice-world-2019-logos-house-of-scary At the end of the Houses of Spice is an animated GIF with blinking white dots. Partial Solve by Groovy Tesseract, Zomperzon and Timescape “have you tried to put the gif on top of the comic that was released just before or just after it? The big square on this gif would fit the big X at the end final page of the comicbook” Heathcliff #39 (Nov 1989, Marvel Comics) Angelo Decesare (Writer/Penciler/Colorist)Jackie Roettcher (Inker)Grace Kremer (Letterer)
I made the squares purple so they’re easier to see Some squares cover the comic text nicely, but other squares cover bits of the background Plus the squares seem to be organized into 4 rows which matches the 4 comic panel rows. I guess it’s just a matter of figuring out which pages are relevant. The “Houses of Spice” animated GIF has three frames. If I use each frame as a different RGB channel I get valid Pangent colors. Here are two possibilities. This may match letters on the Heathcliff comic pages.
just from eyeballing it, I think the last page is White and says “rex”

Notes:
-Defense is i think the lowest amount of available talent (which. Still a lot considering how many defenders there are) so that affected a lot of my division. It’ll be easier to get top end forwards and goaltenders than defenders. Thus defender ended up drafted higher for me, with some defenders getting drafted over higher end forwards because of this
That being said, a lot of stay at home defenders went undrafted, but I expect them to be scooped up in free agency after the draft to fill out the rosters. They are some of my favorites so this made me sads
Opposite wise, goalies is where there’s the biggest wealth of talent available to spots available, thus I waited longer to pick them.) I didn’t even have teams who already have one signed goaltender pick another one
Age played a huge part of my drafting strategy
Maybe its the wnba fan in me but pro experience mattered lot of them when it came down to picking some of the ncaa players vs others

Auglaize County Courthouse
Courthouse Sq.
Wapakoneta, Ohio
The Auglaize County Courthouse is located between West Mechanic, Willipie, West Pearl and Perry Streets in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio. Auglaize County was formed in 1848 and Wapakoneta was chosen by the voters as the county seat. This caused many bad feelings from St. Marys, the other choice for the county seat, as they had already planned an area for the courthouse along appropriately named Court Street. The county's first courthouse was the Methodist Episcopal Church. A frame building completed in 1834, it was used by the county in exchange for the free provision of a pulpit for the congregation. Until the county's first permanent courthouse was built in 1854, the courts rotated around the city's various churches, and the local government officials used rented rooms in buildings throughout Wapakoneta. The first purpose-built courthouse was a Greek Revival style structure of red brick and white trim window and door frames. Two Corinthian columns framed the entrance and supported a pedimented roof above. A rectangular drum rose above the roof which contained corinthian column supports and was capped with a dome with a spire.
A larger courthouse was needed and the county constructed a new courthouse in 1894. The courthouse was built with bonds authorized by the Ohio General Assembly, but changes to the plans more than doubled the cost. Renovation subtly changed the interior, such as an elevator, but the courthouse remains true to its original plans. The current courthouse was constructed from 1893 to 1894 by the architectural firm Kremer and Hart. The building is built with local stone and has a rusticated base with smooth stone from the second floor up. The first floor has square windows in groups of three and blends into the second floor. The second floor is the main floor and is illuminated by large rectangular windows. The entrance is a projection on the eastern facade and is reached by a flight of stairs, three large arches support a balcony above. The balcony contains four Corinthian columns supporting the gabled roof above. The other entrances are also reached by a flight of stairs to a covered porch with supportive Corinthian columns and a balcony with a balustrade. A frieze separates the second floor from the third. Large arched windows light the third floor with a decorative frieze beneath the roof.
The roof rises at various points to support a square drum with a central octagonal tower with a balustrade surrounding the base. Large arched windows are surrounded by Corinthian pilasters that support a decorative frieze and a four-face clock facing the cardinal points. The tower is capped by a dome with a central spire. The building was listed with the National Register of Historic Places on May 7, 1973. The tower was once graced with a statue of Justice overlooking the main entrance to the east. The community of St. Marys found this offensive, as they had the back of Justice to them and raised money to have her turned to the north. The statue was slowly deteriorating to a point where it had to be removed due to safety reasons. The only parts salvaged from the original Justice were the head, right hand, and sword. In 1994, in time for the centennial of the courthouse, the Auglaize County Historical Society raised money to restore the statue through a project called "Copper Pennies for a Copper Lady" which raised over $25,000. The statue now stands in the Great Hall facing north, holding a sword in her right hand and the balances of justice in her left. The base of the pedestal contains a time capsule to be opened in 2094, one item being the names of the donors for the restoration of the statue.
