Grab n' Throw a ridiculous sports game is incoming
Grab n' Throw new first person PvP game already has Proton for Linux via Windows PC. Thanks to the mad commitment and effort of developer Golden Syrup Games. Due to make its way onto Steam.
A new game Grab n' Throw, is a variety of different game modes and maps. while focusing around throwing your own team mates to win. Which you can either play on your own or with friends.
Grab n' Throw is built to be super quick to get into - no long loading screens. So just two clicks and you're into a game. It's a design that scales down to just 2 people within a region. All while still being fun, or against AI if you prefer singleplayer. It's built on Unreal Engine 4, and will be on Steam, which also has great networking. The aim is to have a demo available this year. While offering a full release for the game next year.
According to the developers email reply, Proton support works already.
I was originally planning to do a Linux build. But I think I'll just use Steam's Proton. I've tested it and it works really well.
Meaning, Grab n' Throw will have Proton support on day-one. Although there may still be hope for a native Linux build. But it's still too early for details about Steam Deck verification. But check out the trailer below.

Who doesn't appreciate a good interactive first-person game? Those that do not literal sandbox titles. While at the same time making you want to explore the edges of anyway. So that's what Golden Syrup is developing. Oh, and there are power-ups in Grab n' Throw.
A quick sample of the game modes:
Hole in One - Throw force is cranked up massively. Fly through the air, kilometres at a time, and try to land in a golf hole that moves further away. Make your way across a 256 km^2 map. Bounce off randomly placed surfaces, and score extra points for holes in one. Making the longest throw in Grab n' Throw
Bombarda - Dodgeball crossed with soccer, except instead of balls you throw stacks of your own team-mates. Every goal tilts the whole field against you! Take the offensive and try to win on goals. Or hang back and smash into the other team to beat them with outs!
Volley Bash - Throw your team-mates across the net to score goals by slamming into the ground.
Lawyer Launch - Run through a high-rise office building and hurl more lawyers out of windows than your opponents.
Grab n' Throw first person PvP game is coming to Steam next year. Along with support for Linux via Proton using the Windows PC build.

One moment I'm normal about murder drones and then I think about how worker drones were build to mine exoplanets and thus are most likely pretty strong THUS headcanon that Uzi can lift N over her head with ease. She also would give bone crushing hugs. She would grab V by the leg and chuck her across the room

Something about dark nova yakumo makes me want to bully him. Every time I see him I want to shove him in a locker or pour mop water on his head. I'm not sure why; I don't feel that strongly about his other alts but for some reason just thinking of him in a school setting turns me into a generic high school bully.

anyways. my very first attempt at malenia
#elden ring#my post#this starts late (?) bc i didnt want to get the cutscene in the clip but fumbled to start the recording bc she does kinda rush you#and i was not at all prepared#anyways im genuinely tempted to just write a long post dumping my thoughts on malenia and her fight and how im puzzling through it#ive reached peak intrinsic motivation elden ring#the only reason why i probably should wait to make the post is bc ive only gotten as far as first phase half health#i have another recording thats abt a minute and a half long attempt and i gave it a few tries today#its worth mentioning that the night before i decided to finally start fighting malenia i told my friend (who managed to beat her) that bc#a lot of the last few endgame bosses didnt take me too long to beat i was worried that malenia wouldnt take me very long#and he just told me she would throw me into a meat grinder. and i lasted 12 seconds against her after that intro cutscene#anyways the fact that she's a very straightforward and easy to see boss makes it very easy to break her down and figure out how she#works n why she's hard and figure out a plan and everything i really like it. no particle effects just some sparks and sword trail lines#i keep getting caught by her flurry attack n today my plan (while talking to my friend) was to figure out why i kept getting caught by#it despite it being very obviously telegraphed n then putting together why i struggle with it. its REALLY fun to think technically abt her#anyways. fun part abt me getting killed by the grab + impale is that i honestly wasnt sure if that was actually implemented in the game#bc id never seen it in gameplay and. here we go. ten seconds in there it is

I mean, I like Daigo and Y3 but it's undeniable that a lot of the reason of MineDai being small is cuz Mine, Daigo and Y3 are generally unliked? Not like hated but like just not liked down upon the bigger side of the fandom. Add to that that the yaoi girlies, like us, are just like a fraction of the fandom... well, not exactly big shit to have.
Personally... I'm kinda glad Mine is overlooked cuz... dear fucking god the radioactive waste he could create if he was popular. Mind you, I'm not exactly a Mine fan but I know he would be... not the best for larger audiences.
