昨年は香港『Shi Fu Miz Festival』、『森、道、市場』、『Metamorphose』等を初め、国内外の10本以上のフェスティバル出演を果たし、スコットランド出身のアップカミングなDJ、Wallaceの初来日を実現。そして来る3月22日はアムステルダムの気鋭、Kamma & MasaloとのWOMB Mainフロアでの2マンを予定している東京のハウスミュージック・コレクティヴCYKが、『CYK & Friends』の開催を約5年ぶりにアナウンス。

同パーティー・シリーズは’19年に豪州のPelvis、Torei、SEKITOVAといったCYKの「Friends」と呼ぶにふさわしいゲストを招き、神宮前bonoboにて4ヶ月連続で開催され、毎回のような高純度の'ハウス'の炸裂と、超満員で記憶にも記録にも残ったモンスター企画だ。

今回は、CYKのホームであるCIRCUS Tokyoでの開催となる。

「Hong Kong Community Radio」のレジテントも務め、3.29にはベルリンのコレクティヴEinhundertとの共同企画も控える、ジャンル&地域横断型DJのShioriyBradshawと、10年代以降のベースミュージック影響下にありつつも軽やかに垣根を跨ぎ八面六臂の活躍を魅せるFELINEのスペシャルなB2Bが実現。本パーティーでのエクスクルーシヴなオーダーを、彼女たちに依頼した。

CYKのKotsuが拠点を置く京都からは、Rainbow Disco Club 2024に出演予定である若手筆頭レーベル[PAL.Sounds]構成員のChanazを招聘。同じく京都拠点で、フローティンでエモーショナルなハウス・ライヴに定評があるPee.J Andersonの片割れJomniは、CYK TOKYO RADIOに提供した、自身やレーベルメイトの未発表曲を含むMixがカルトヒット中。
