finally made a doctors appointment for the thing I've been thinking "I should probably talk to a doctor about this" for years. I am the bravest girl in the world I think
#yesterday morning's episode of lying on the bathroom floor (and also various other spots in the house) because i was in too much pain#was my final straw and my mum reminded me i have private healthcare through my job now#so i had a look at the remote gp services and there's literally a whole selection of appointments available from today onwards??#with my choice of gp whose bio i can read??#instead of sitting on hold for an hour for a receptionist to say they only release 3 appointments a week at precisely 6:24pm on a tuesday#anyway i have booked it for tonight so i figure my preemptive little treat will be collecting my copy of happy place from waterstones 😌#talking

couple: sunny!johnny x grumpy!fem!reader
"Don't be afraid to cry in front of me, I've got you."
It seems like everything was purposely going wrong this week. University and your part-time job were killing you to the point where you missed the bus to university almost every day. Your performance in classes wasn't the best either and you knew that if you didn't try just a little more, you would lose this class.
Once again, you had woken up late, you were running towards class while trying to tie your hair, when you bumped into something, or rather someone and fell to the floor. That someone was Johnny, the personification of a friendly person, who was almost always happy, totally the opposite of you. Let's just say you weren't the nicest person around.
Johnny ran to help you get up, but you refused the man's help and went to your class, you didn't feel like interacting with people today and unfortunately for you, Johnny followed you, as you studied together.
At the end of the class, your teacher talked to you about your performance in the subject, as he seemed truly worried, you apologized and said you would work harder, but he said he had a solution:
“Johnny Suh will be your tutor” And like magic, the boy appeared next to you, smiling at you, who returned a forced smile.
“So, apparently we're going to spend some time together” Johnny said excitedly, as soon as the teacher left the room. The only thing you did was roll your eyes. “Hey hey, at least let’s exchange our cell phone numbers and arrange our first date… to study of course.” You handed the cell phone to him, and he did the same.
“I work every day after school, so I will only be available at night. We can start today if you don’t have an appointment.” ‘I want to start this soon so I can finish it soon’ was all you could think.
“Perfect, it’s in the coffee shop on the street behind the university, right?” The boy noticed your scared face. “Don’t worry, I’m not following you” He chuckled, but stopped as soon as he saw that you weren’t laughing with him. “I’ve been there a few times and I saw that you work at this coffee shop.”
“I’ll see you later.” You left towards your work, leaving Johnny behind.
A little before the scheduled time, Johnny arrived at the coffee shop where you worked and your co-worker said that you were getting ready to leave, but that your boss had called you to have a talk. Johnny decided to wait for you outside, but he was surprised by some screams coming from the back of the coffee shop. As he was very curious, he decided to look at what was happening and was surprised when he saw you leaning against the wall, with your head down and a man, who apparently was your boss, shouting at you.
“HOW CAN YOU BE SUCH AN IDIOT? TODAY ONLY YOU MADE 5 WRONG ORDERS! LOOK AT THE SIZE OF DAMAGE YOU ARE CAUSING! I DON’T WANT TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS AT HOME AND AT UNIVERSITY, YOU HAVE TO WORK RIGHT!” You kept your head down, listening to everything he said. “I’m not going to fire you, but you better work properly next week”
“It won’t happen again, I promise” That was all you said and, as soon as your boss left, you took a deep breath, gathering all your strength not to cry there. It was the first time Johnny had seen you in such a vulnerable way and it tugged at his heart. He returned to the car and a short time later, you met him, who was waiting for you with a smile on his face, pretending not to have seen what had just happened to you.
“Come on, I think you had a busy day. Do you mind being in your place? Mine isn’t in good condition for visitors” Johnny said, opening the door for you to enter.
"Okay."
“Great! So, put your address in the GPS, please? Oh, I wanted to go somewhere first, I promise it will be quick.” You just nodded and got into the car.
On the way, Johnny noticed that you were not only tired, but also sad, but you were trying very hard not to show it. You noticed that Johnny was at a drive thru buying some burgers, you didn't want to admit that you were hungry and that you were happy that Johnny was doing that.
When you arrived at your room, you told Johnny to make himself comfortable and she would organize everything for you to eat, but the man preferred to follow you to the kitchen.
“We’re not studying today” Was all Johnny said as you grabbed a bottle of ketchup from the fridge.
“What?!”
“I know you didn't have an easy day, besides all the pressure from classes, I saw what your boss did to you, I don't want you to be more tired than you already are.”
“You don’t need to feel sorry for me about that.” You sniffled, holding back your tears and avoiding exchanging glances with Johnny as much as possible. For some reason, you felt like he could read you like no other person could.
“And I'm not. I just want you to know that you can count on me. Don't be afraid to cry in front of me, I've got you.”
All the tears that were haldin began to fall, Johnny's arms hugged your body. You could feel that your cold person mask had completely fallen and that you finally had someone on your side.

Got a call from a Nurse for a Cardiologist I was referred to by my GP today. She didn't actually let it ring long enough for me to pick it up, though. But when I tried to call her back as instructed in the voicemail, I got stuck on hold for 15 minutes only to be transferred to another department, and then told "just stepped in with a patient and will call me back when she's available".
Finally got tired of waiting and called back again 5+ hours later, only to have the same thing happen and be told the same thing. But this time I got another woman and she actually took down my information this time. So I'm hopeful that I'll actually get a proper callback this time; the other woman did no such thing.
I get being busy and being a working professional. But I don't understand the point of calling me at 9:30 am and telling me to call you back immediately for an appointment if you're not actually going to be available- and then not calling me back like you're supposed to, and said you would ... At least give me desk hours or something, maybe? Because even my own GP's Nurse just straight up says "calls won't be returned until after 4 pm on weekdays". It's not difficult.
The more I have to interact with other Doctors- especially specialists- the more I'm just not impressed by how uncoordinated offices are frequently run. And the happier I am that my GP's office is run so smoothly; bless the fact that I have such a great GP and staff, honestly (save the one weird incident with the stand-in receptionist when I was trying to reschedule my appointment not too long ago).
Hour and a half-ish later ETA: Finally got that callback. It's for my Chest X-Ray followup for my Lung Test not my EKG. And it's all the way out in October. And I have to drive all the way out to Enid for it, 45 minutes away.
Why can't I just get the Chest X-Ray here and then see her in October when her next opening is- especially since I've already done my Lung Test here, anyways, and it's the same hospital system? Who knows! It's nonsense.
I'm still waiting on my stupid EKG after all- and that's the part of all this I actually need done the most 😫

Another thing I didn't post about earlier that I'm pissed off about is that I accidentally missed an appointment with my psychiatrist, because I lost my appointment card and didn't get a text reminder the day before like I usually do (when the secretary remembers...) and now it's apparently up in the air if the office will send my prescription to me in the meantime while I wait for the next available appointment because "I haven't been seen by the team" and "maybe an exception can be made" but there's no guarantee and I might just have to come off cold turkey for the next few months, lol.
I'm going to ask my GP if he'll write me a script if I don't hear back from the secretary again by tomorrow afternoon (she often says she'll call me back and then never does and doesn't return any of my voicemails when I try to get in touch). But it's like... I'm not a new patient, I am not asking for any dosages to be changed, I have been going to this practice for eleven fucking years?? I'm just so fucking sick of getting jerked around like this and the barrier to Getting Help being so fucking high everything is made as difficult as possible by everyone who is supposed to help me.
Like, yes, I did miss an appointment and I didn't call about it (I thought I'd missed it last week, because I ran out of my meds a few days ago, but apparently it was scheduled for today) and that is my fault and my responsibility, but why is it such a fucking production having a script fucking emailed to my pharmacy like they've done a thousand times before?
I'm annoyed about this now because I am exhausted and it's not even 7.30 p.m., because coming off a hefty dose of psychostimulants without tapering it off will do that to you. But like. Ugh.
#my consultant retired and this was supposed to be the first time I saw the new guy#but I don't see why that should make such a difference unless he Doesn't Trust what my previous doctor thought was appropriate#on priciple or something#also I am literally on a mood stabiliser as well#because I'm being treated for bipolar even if I haven't got it on my chart#so like... sure how I don't have any high highs or low lows that could have been avoided lol

So I’m sick (covid test was negative) with a real bad cough and a stuffy nose and a body that has no energy whatsoever, and I had a phone call with a guy to organise some outpatient treatment today and he was like ‘bro you sound like shit. Have you seen a doctor’ and then was surprised when I said the next appointments available with the GP are over a month away. Like bro you work with the NHS you should understand that no, of course I haven’t seen a doctor about a cold. People don’t die from trifling little colds. Not when it will more than likely be gone by the time I get an appointment.
#for real though I have like three things I actually need to see a doctor about cause uhhhh 😬😬😬#but booking an appointment is too stressful and what if these symptoms that I’ve had for over a year now go away before the appointment#also like one of the things is a lump on my hip that I spent three months trying to get an appointment at my old GP for#only for them to then say ‘if you’ve had it for more than three months it doesn’t qualify for an emergency appointment and we only do#emergency appointments now’#like. that’s not actually the point of a GP but okay I guess

6 Ways Flutter is Leading the Charge in Hybrid App Development
In today’s fast-paced tech landscape, businesses are constantly seeking efficient solutions to create engaging mobile applications. As a result, the demand for hybrid app development companies has skyrocketed. Among the various frameworks available, Flutter has emerged as a standout choice, redefining the norms of mobile application development. Built by Google, Flutter enables developers to create high-performance applications for both iOS and Android from a single codebase, revolutionizing the way businesses approach hybrid app development. Here are six ways Flutter is leading the charge in this exciting field.
1. Single Codebase for Multiple Platforms
One of the most significant advantages of Flutter is its ability to use a single codebase for both Android and iOS applications. This approach not only reduces the development time but also simplifies the maintenance process. Developers can write their code once and deploy it across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent performance and a unified user experience. For companies looking to cut down on development costs and time, this feature is a game-changer.
2. Hot Reload Feature
Flutter's hot reload feature is another critical aspect that enhances productivity. It allows developers to instantly see the results of their changes without losing the current state of the app. This means that they can make adjustments on the fly, test various designs, and optimize the user interface in real time. This significantly reduces the iteration cycle, making it easier for teams to collaborate and innovate rapidly. In an industry where time-to-market is essential, hot reload gives Flutter a competitive edge.
3. Beautiful UIs with Customizable Widgets
In hybrid app development, user interface (UI) design plays a crucial role in user engagement and retention. Flutter shines in this area with its rich set of customizable widgets. These widgets follow specific design languages, such as Material Design and Cupertino, allowing developers to create stunning and adaptive UIs that feel native to both Android and iOS. This versatility not only enhances the user experience but also helps brands maintain a consistent look and feel across their applications.
4. Strong Performance
Performance is often a concern for hybrid apps, which tend to lag behind their native counterparts. However, Flutter overcomes this barrier by compiling directly to native ARM code. This allows Flutter applications to achieve near-native performance levels, resulting in fast startup times and smooth animations. For businesses, this means delivering a seamless user experience that can compete with the best native apps in the market.
5. Access to Native Features
Flutter provides excellent access to native features through its platform channels. This enables developers to leverage device capabilities like GPS, camera, and storage, making it easy to build feature-rich applications. By integrating native functionality seamlessly, Flutter allows developers to create hybrid applications that offer the same level of performance and features as their native counterparts. This is particularly beneficial for businesses looking to provide advanced features without compromising on performance or user experience.
If you're interested in exploring the benefits of hybrid app development companies services for your business, we encourage you to book an appointment with our team of experts.

6. Community Support and Resources
One of Flutter's strongest assets is its vibrant community. With a plethora of resources, tutorials, and third-party libraries available, developers can quickly find solutions to their problems or discover new ways to enhance their applications. This community support accelerates the learning curve for new developers and encourages best practices in app development. As the framework continues to grow, so does the ecosystem of resources, making Flutter a reliable choice for hybrid app development.
Conclusion
Flutter is not just another framework; it’s a powerful tool that is reshaping the landscape of hybrid app development. Its combination of a single codebase, hot reload feature, customizable widgets, robust performance, access to native features, and strong community support make it a preferred choice for many businesses. As more companies recognize the benefits of Flutter, the demand for hybrid app development will only continue to grow.
If you're considering a new mobile application and want to explore the possibilities of hybrid app development, utilizing a mobile app cost calculator can help you budget effectively. This tool can provide estimates based on features, platform choices, and other variables, ensuring that you have a clear picture of the investment required.

My eyes are finally no longer dilated 🙏 Baruch HaShem for it, too, because that was really starting to hurt my head yesterday. But it seems to've worn off right before bed. I didn't sleep well last night, still, though. I kept having dreams that my Cats were sneakily eating my Sunflowers. And there was another dream that my family was trying to hook me back up with my abusive Ex again 🤢 Not my favorite.
Unfortunately I also forgot that today was supposed to be our August Master Gardener Meeting. So guess who didn't get the car from its Husband this morning so that it could attend, and slept in until start time so it couldn't get a ride from someone else in the MG group? 😫 And I really meant to go to this one, too, since things'd finally settled down with my Mother in Law passing and my health being so incredibly out of whack. Ah well. There's always next month.
On the upside, I did get my appointment with my GP rescheduled this morning- after a lot of hair pulling with whatever irregular receptionist I wound up with; I asked for a Wednesday, and she kept trying to give me anything but. Then I asked for an appointment after 10 am, and she said my GP didn't have anything available in the afternoons anymore because she stopped working that late on Wednesdays. Finally wound up with an appointment at 11:45 am on a Wednesday, and facepalmed so hard because that's exactly what I was looking for. The amount of time and roundabout nonsense it took for her to actually get me there, though. Ooph. I miss my old receptionist, ha. Baruch HaShem this one's just temporary.
But it's done! And now I have more time to get the blood draw she wanted done before we saw each other again completed- and see what on Earth's still going on with that EKG my Insurance seems to be blocking, that I'm supposed to get done for her.

What Makes a Good Private Taxi Service?
In today’s fast-paced world, a reliable private taxi service is essential for both convenience and safety. Whether you’re commuting to work, heading to the airport, or exploring a new city, several key factors define a top-notch private taxi service.
1. Reliability and Punctuality: A good taxi service is known for its punctuality. Customers expect their rides to arrive on time, every time. A reliable service will also offer real-time tracking, allowing passengers to know exactly when their driver will arrive.
2. Professional Drivers: The quality of drivers is crucial. Professional drivers should not only be well-trained and knowledgeable about local routes but also possess excellent customer service skills. Friendly, courteous, and respectful drivers can make a significant difference in the overall experience.
3. Clean and Comfortable Vehicles: The condition of the vehicles used is a reflection of the service. A good taxi service maintains its fleet meticulously, ensuring that cars are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with amenities like air conditioning, comfortable seating, and safety features.
4. Transparent Pricing: A reliable taxi service provides clear, upfront pricing without hidden fees. Passengers should know what to expect before they book a ride. This transparency builds trust and enhances the overall experience.
5. Safety Measures: Safety is paramount. A reputable taxi service will implement stringent safety protocols, including background checks for drivers, regular vehicle inspections, and features like GPS tracking and emergency contact options.
6. Easy Booking Process: An efficient booking system—whether through an app, website, or phone—is essential. A user-friendly interface allows customers to book rides quickly and easily, with options for scheduling rides in advance.
7. Flexible Payment Options: A modern taxi service should offer a variety of payment methods to accommodate different preferences. This includes cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment options like Apple Pay or Google Pay. Flexibility in payment enhances customer convenience and satisfaction.
8. 24/7 Availability: Life doesn’t adhere to a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither should taxi services. A good private taxi service operates around the clock, ensuring that passengers can book rides at any time, whether it’s for a late-night airport transfer or an early morning appointment.
9. Customer Support: Exceptional customer support is crucial for addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. A responsive service with multiple channels for communication—such as phone, email, or live chat—demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction. Quick resolution of problems can significantly enhance the overall experience.
10. Loyalty Programs: To retain customers and encourage repeat business, many top-notch taxi services offer loyalty programs or incentives. Discounts for frequent users, referral bonuses, or points systems can create a sense of community and reward customers for their loyalty.

Taking Control: The Power of a Mental Health Care Plan Mental health is very crucial for a balanced and fulfilling life in today's fast pace of life. That is where having a Mental Health Care Plan comes into play, offering a tailor-made roadmap for overcoming emotional challenges and building your strength in it. The ease with which telehealth and services of Online Doctor Australia are now available makes access to mental health care easier than ever.
What is a Mental Health Care Plan?
A Mental Health Care Plan is a partnership with your doctor in mapping out your mental health journey. You set clear mental health goals, choose your treatment options, and decide what support you need. Here's what it can entail:
Therapy Sessions: Be it individual, group therapy, your doctor will design suggestions to best fit your preferences.
Medications: The doctor may talk to you about possible medications, including how to obtain a prescription through telehealth online in Australia.
Lifestyle Changes: Practicing stress management, proper sleep hygiene, and healthy nutrition can be effective weapons for a solid mental health care plan.
Support Services: The mental health professional may also advise you on some of the support services, such as community programs or peer support groups.
Advantages of a Mental Health Care Plan Coupled With Telehealth
Telehealth is the phenomenon of transformation in the delivery of mental health. The benefits include clarity and direction toward ways to improve your mental health and reaching your goal with appropriate, measurable progress tracked on the Mental Health Online Consultation Australia platforms.
Decisions Made Informed: You would be involved with your choice of the treatment option that best fits you with the comfort of an Australia consultation by Doctor on Phone. You're empowered to take control of your mental well-being hassle-free over in-person visits.
Financial Assistance: A Medicare card is required to access rebates for therapy sessions, and such therapy may become less costly. With cheap GP consultations and bulk billed telehealth services, mental health care becomes affordable.
Holistic Approach: A Mental Health Care Plan cares for you as a whole and to the root of the symptoms. Telehealth can be really useful in scheduling appointments, keeping you in contact with your doctor, and thus maintaining a balanced approach toward your mental health.
Improved Communication: Your treatment plan encourages open communication on your side and that of your healthcare providers, where both of you will be on the same page as you work towards finding the right course for your health. Virtual care and remote medical services have cut across into making this communication run efficiently.
Taking That First Step
It's strength, not weakness, to take the first step by seeking help for the care of your mental health. Contact your Online Doctor Australia or healthcare provider through telehealth and see if a Mental Health Care Plan is suitable for you. Your doctor will guide you through the whole process, ensuring that you receive every bit of support and tools needed for your mental health journey-all accessible online .
Beyond the Plan
Remember, the plan is an idea to start with, not a script you are going to do every time. As your needs change, so should your plan. Celebrate your successes, no matter how big or small they seem, and keep prioritizing your mental health. This can all be managed with telehealth options such as Mental Health Online Consultation Australia and Prescription Online Australia services.
Let's break the stigma of mental health care. Share your story, encourage others to seek help, and know that with the right support-including telehealth and bulk-billed consultations-a Mental Health Care Plan can be that key to unlock the doors to emotional resilience.
More Information on Teldoc
Teldoc offers bulk billing for mental health consultations and Mental Health Care Plans for eligible patients with a valid Medicare card. That may mean you won't need to pay out of pocket for your sessions.

Finding the Best Taxi Cab Service Near You: A Comprehensive Guide
When you need a reliable way to get around town, finding a taxi cab service near you can be a lifesaver. Whether you're heading to work, going to the airport, or simply exploring the city, having access to a dependable taxi service is crucial. In this article, we will explore the various aspects of choosing the right taxi cab service, ensuring that you make informed decisions for all your transportation needs.
Understanding Your Options
In today's fast-paced world, numerous options are available for getting from point A to point B. From traditional taxi services to ride-sharing apps, the choices can be overwhelming. However, when searching for a taxi cab service near you, it’s essential to consider your preferences and needs. cheap taxi service
Traditional Taxi Services: These services operate through physical taxi stands or can be hailed directly on the street. They often have well-established reputations and reliable service.
Ride-Sharing Services: Apps like Uber and Lyft have transformed the way people travel. These platforms allow you to book a ride using your smartphone, providing convenience and often competitive pricing.
Local Cab Companies: Many cities have local cab companies that may offer more personalized service. These companies often have a good understanding of the area and can provide a unique experience tailored to your needs.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Taxi Cab Service
Selecting the best taxi cab service involves several considerations:
1. Availability
When you need transportation, the last thing you want is to wait for a taxi that may not arrive. Look for a service that guarantees quick response times. This is particularly important during peak hours or in busy areas. You can often check the availability of nearby services using online reviews or their respective apps. airports taxi service
2. Pricing
Understanding the pricing structure of a taxi service is crucial. Different companies have varying fare models—some charge per mile, while others have flat rates for certain routes. Always inquire about any additional fees, such as surcharges for late-night rides or tolls. By comparing the prices of various services, you can find the most cost-effective option without sacrificing quality.
3. Safety Measures
Safety should always be your top priority when choosing a taxi cab service. Ensure that the drivers are licensed and insured. Many companies also conduct background checks on their drivers, providing an extra layer of security. You can also check if the vehicle is well-maintained and equipped with safety features such as GPS tracking.
4. Customer Reviews
Before settling on a taxi cab service, take the time to read customer reviews. Websites like Yelp and Google Reviews can provide insights into the experiences of other riders. Look for patterns in the feedback, such as recurring complaints about cleanliness or timeliness. Positive reviews often indicate a service that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
5. Fleet Variety
The variety of vehicles in a taxi cab service’s fleet can impact your experience. Some companies offer standard sedans, while others provide larger vehicles, luxury options, or even vans for group travel. Depending on your needs, you might prefer a specific type of vehicle. Make sure to check the company’s website or app for the available options.
6. Ease of Booking
In the digital age, convenience is key. Look for a taxi service that offers easy booking options, whether through an app, website, or phone call. Many ride-sharing services allow you to schedule rides in advance, which can be particularly helpful for airport pickups or early morning appointments.
Tips for Using a Taxi Cab Service
Now that you know what to look for in a taxi cab service near you, here are some tips to ensure a smooth experience:
1. Plan Your Route
Before your ride, it’s a good idea to plan your route. While most drivers will know the best way to get to your destination, having an idea of the route can help avoid unnecessary detours. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, consider using a navigation app to track your journey.
2. Communicate Clearly
When booking your ride, be clear about your pickup location and destination. If you have specific instructions, such as needing to make multiple stops or requiring extra time for loading luggage, communicate these details upfront.
3. Be Ready and Waiting
When a taxi arrives, make sure you’re ready to get in. This is particularly important during busy times when taxis may be in high demand. Being prompt not only helps you but also ensures the driver can pick up other passengers in a timely manner.
4. Provide Feedback
After your ride, consider providing feedback to the taxi service. Positive feedback encourages good service, while constructive criticism can help improve the experience for future riders. Many services appreciate feedback and use it to enhance their offerings.
Conclusion
Finding a taxi cab service near me doesn’t have to be a daunting task. By considering factors like availability, pricing, safety, and customer reviews, you can make an informed decision that meets your needs. Remember to plan your route, communicate clearly, and provide feedback to ensure the best possible experience.
As urban transportation continues to evolve, having access to reliable taxi services will remain essential. Whether you choose a traditional taxi, a ride-sharing app, or a local cab company, the key is to find a service that you trust and that fits your lifestyle. With these tips and insights, you're well on your way to navigating the city with ease and confidence.

Charcherry Weekly - Issue 217
Hello everyone, Mage of Light Nick Card here. The autumn rains have arrived to quench the parched soil. it's nice to listen to the rain when nothing else is happening. for now though, it's time for the news.
Justice Quest Update
Early this week, after a bout of foggy conditions, Rogue of Heart Charles had arrived in Shoreport. Soon after arriving, they managed to locate the stabbing victim in need of justice at the local tavern. Charles managed to settle the situation by offering the person in question by giving them 1000g worth of desertian gold bars. The assailant now owes Charles the amount instead, details likely to be decided later.
While still at the tavern, Charles encountered three voidco operatives, a wizard, a warlock, and a rogue. With the skilled work of a mysterious magical performer that was also present, all three were relieved of their contractual obligations to the cursed company. The pact-broken warlock is reportedly searching for a new patron, one that won't slowly convert her into a copy of the Page of Darkness. It is very possible that she has already made progress towards finding a new one, though further news on the matter is currently unknown.
Return of the Movie Night
Rather recently after Charles returned home from Plit, they proposed restarting movie night, this time using an online screen sharing service and the memo already designated for movie night. The first movie chosen was the Digimon movie, complete with all three parts (including the one that eventually became the basis for Summer Wars), the infamous Angela Anaconda short at the beginning, and an additional mini-movie that expanded upon the second part of the movie. Overall, the event was a rousing success, with good times all around, no weird time-y stuff like the group used to experience with Katie's movie setup, minimal organizational delays, and plenty of laughs at Tai's mom's interesting culinary practices (onion juice! jerky shakes! 2 bean salad!). The next date and movie selection has yet to be chosen, but it is certain that the quicker setup will make organizing another movie night much easier in the future.
New Laptop!
Earlier today, Heir of Hope Hazel Serket received a huge package in the mail. It turned out to have a great deal of electronic paraphernalia from a particular Skye instance who needed to offload a number of things for safe keeping. Inside of the package, there was a big stack of captchalogue cards, absolutely chock full of various computers from different past eras, electronics and power distribution equipment, countless manuals, and a fetch modus development suite. Reportedly, one of the computers in the pile is a high-end 2011 PowerPC InterTeck ThinkPad running miniOS. Hazel is very satisfied with the veritable treasure trove.

That should do it for this week. I think I've managed to get my stride back, though it took some irritation and recruitment to get back into the mix. I really need to step up my game on this, though its hard when I've got so many other obligations. At least the rain sounds nice. https://letssosl.boards.net/thread/454/charcherry-weekly-issue-217
