hey y’all, I feel like I should clear up my feelings about this vinyl thingy from this morning. I think my initial a little bit over-heated reaction was not okay and for that I apologize. for me it wasn’t even about the priceof the vinyl I guess, I read through each side’s posts and it does make sense in terms of Taylor’s autograph being on it and I understand that prices are higher since Taylor wants to sell fair produced clothing. I’m actually glad that she does.

I think it was just about the fact that I felt a bit left out this era due to my family’s money issues and also the fact that the only tour dates in Europe were in the UK (yes, I am aware that we at least gottour dates on our continent, I still feel sorry for the South American fans because they deserve tour dates as well. but that doesn’t change the fact that I cried many, many times about the fact that I couldn’t attend the tour and experience the magic as well). And even I am probably privileged compared to other fans who have it worse. And I don’t judge you for ebing able to afford the vinyls or the merch, heck, I’d buy it too if I had the money for it as well but please try to take other people’s perspective into account. So a) reselling those vinyls on ebay for what? like thousand bucks? is like. not okay. stop. and b) I would like to encourage fans who think they are better than others perhaps because of money, perhaps because they know every song while others don’t yet to think back to the time when they started becoming a fan and didn’t know every detail about Taylor by heart. Isn’t  our mutual love for Taylor and making other, new people feel welcome in this fandom so much more important than whether a person can own 10 pieces of merch or can attend every tour or whether they know even her unreleased songs by heart?
