I'm suing spotify for defamation of character.

Today at work I was making the most of being on my own by listening to my own music on the speaker when a rather attractive (and massively out of my league) customer came up and was like "don't mind me, this is my favourite song, I have to stay and listen to it"

So naturally, we were having a little chat whilst the song was playing and I was taking this opportunity to have a little flirt and pretend I'm much cooler than I actually am...

And then the song ended and there was a moment of silence before the next one came on.

And then my cool facade was spectacularly shattered by spotify deciding the perfect song for this moment would be gotta go my own way off High School Musical.

The customer (who I had already married in my head) laughed and was like "thanks for the song" and then left whilst I physically, literally and emotionally died.

I am typing this from beyond the grave.

TL;DR: I was pretending to be cool so the attractive human would continue talking to me but shuffled spotify betrayed me by playing high school musical.

When we were young my aunt would let (?) my cousins chew on their nails after she cut off them off, but only if they were long enough.

Like she would cut their nails off and if she determined they hadn’t been biting then they “got” to pop those little weird crescents in their mouths & chew them like gum. She looked at all the great nail biting prevention techniques and somehow said I gotta go my own way.

I saw them do this once when I was like 8 and to this day I think of it every time I cut my nails because I am still so gob smacked by it all.

some "new" designs for different crassus and pompey, specifically for a side project I've been playing with that's so removed from anything relevant (action/adventure/horror standalone story lmao) that they kind of needed their own thing. this story's pompey has a neck scar from an Incident™, crassus has shorter hair and wears (checks notes) jewelry sometimes.
