Going Under
Ok, this is based on a fic I wrote a while back about Chucky getting his wisdom teeth removed....
"Chucky get your ass in here. You'll be ok. Quit panicking! There is nothing to be scared of"
"ME Scared? I'm not scared. I'm fine. If just.... taking a breather"
Tiffany watched her husband doing laps around the hallway jogging back and forth.
"Come on Sweetface, you'll be ok"
Tiffany grabbed him by the arm and dragged him into the room, sitting him down.
"Shit, nope... Tiff can we just head home. My mouth doesn't even hurt"
"Sweetface, you bit off a chunk of your cheek"
"Tiffany, I will take you on a date right here right now. Can we just go!"
Tiffany's response was cut off by the doctor entering the room.
"HI! So, you must be Charles!"
Chucky didn't say a word.
"Yes, he's my husband. He's here to get his wisdom tooth removed"
"Alrighty, down all were gonna do is inject you with----"
Chucky's mind immediately tuned out the conversation, he was panicking internally. He wasn't afraid of the shot; he's dealt with worse before. What frightened him was being put under anesthesia. His mind was boggled but focused once he felt the alcohol pad rub against his skin. He saw the woman turn around with a needle full of the serum that would knock him unconscious.
"Look, lady, back up.... nope get away. Keep that thing away from me"
Chucky squirmed and wiggled trying to distance himself from the lady. Tiffany could only watch, struggling to hold back a vast amount of laughter.
"C--Chucky, Sweetface you gotta calm down"
"It's only a little prick"
"I'M NOT AFRAID OF THE NEEDLE!"
He was about to snap another remark out with what felt to be a poker being rammed through his arm.
"ARGH F----FUCK!!! W----W---WHAt T--the Hellllllll......."

All good boys go to Heaven but bad boys bring Heaven to you
Chapter 6
Warnings: language, sex, a fist fight, (tw) stalking, lots of angst, and some fluff.
Sorry it’s taken so long. I’ve been trying to get Say it to me softly out, and now it’s finished so this will be updated more regularly. This is a very appropriate gif for this chapter. Stay tuned💕
Tumblr media
“Chucky watch out!” Matt turned just as a puck cracked off the side of his helmet and sent him tumbling to the ice. He hadn’t been paying attention during practice, instead thinking all the ‘not sleeping’ he had done the night before. He could hear Noah and Johnny laughing as they skated over and helped him up. He deserved that one.
“Dude you gotta pay attention. What’s going on in there today space cadet?”
He wanted nothing more than to tell them. He was not only thinking about Hallie, but also about the mysterious flowers that had obviously rattled her. So he went with amended version of the truth.
“We’ll actually.” He turned to Noah and leaned on his stick “Has Hallie ever mentioned like a bad boyfriend or anything?”
Noah looked at the ceiling and chewed on his lip for a moment before he shook his head “I don’t think so, not to me anyway. Why?”
He chose his words carefully, keeping his expression cool “Well I showed up at her place yesterday and made her have dinner with me, and while I was there she said she got flowers and she assumed they were from me. But I didn’t send her any, and she got all fucking weird about it.”
“Was there a card?”
He shook his head “No but she was definitely upset. I offered to stay but she said it was fine.”
Johnny rolled his eyes and gave him a shove “Of course you did.”
“I can ask Carly if you want. They tell eachother everything.”
“No it’s okay. I don’t wanna invade her privacy or anything. Just seemed weird to me.”
They went back to running drills but his mind was still elsewhere. The more he thought about it the more her behavior bothered him. She had seemed upset, anxious, and scared and the whole thing had rubbed him the wrong way. He didn’t want to get involved in her business but it was really bothering him.
*******
“Come on Hal we’re going to be late.” Carly complained as Hallie shoved her feet into her shoes. She locked the door behind her and dig around in her bag as they took the elevator and exited her building towards the parking lot.
As they walked through the parking lot, she was still digging for her keys when she felt Carly’s hand on her arm forcing her to stop.
“Hal?”
Hallie looked up and felt the blood feeeze in her veins. Rose petals littered her car, moving very gently in the breeze. She took a step backwards turning her head this way and that but the parking lot was empty. She turned slowly towards Carly who was looking at her alarmed.
She began to shake, eyes filling with tears. She thought when she came here this would be over, that she could finally be free and not live her life looking over her shoulder. But she was wrong.
“He found me.”
**********
“Hal? It’s me open the door.” Matt said knocking. He hadn’t heard from her all day, and was starting to get worried when Carly told him she was sick, but was them confused when she texted him and told him to come over. He heard her shuffle around on the other side of the door before she eased it open, big eyes peering at him through the crack.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m fine, come in. Hurry up.”
She yanked him inside and clicked the lock as she shut the door. He frowned at her.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m fine why?” She breezed past him to pick up her buzzing phone on the counter. As she read the message the color in her face drained.
“Something wrong?”
Hallie stuffed her phone in her pocket and shook her head not meeting his eye.
“No why?”
He shrugged “ you just got super weird when your phone went off that’s all.”
“No I didn’t.”
“You did but it’s none of my business.”
“Your right. It’s not.”
“Maybe I should just go.”
“No!” She grabbed his arm holding him in place “I-I mean sorry. I just had a long day is all. Stay please?” She looked uncomfortable asking him, but there was another emotion he couldn’t identify. Whatever it was, it was convincing.
“I got your mail by the way.” He said setting several white envelopes and a large Manila one down on the counter, and walking from the kitchen to the bathroom. He needed a shower, and went to rummage through the collection of clothing he had accumulated. He had hoped by pulling his shirt off and walking back past the kitchen he could entice Hallie to come shower with him but he found her standing with her back to him, looking at an article of mail in her hand. He could see her trembling from where he stood.
She had opened the large envelope first, noticing it had no return address, but felt bulky and heavy. She felt goosebumps bloom across her skin as a stack of photos slid out and she looked through them. There were dozens, her walking to work, out with friends, her and Matthew. Each photo got progressively closer and some had foul crude writing on them. Mattys face was crossed out on several of them and a few were ripped in half.
“Hallie?”
Matt was standing in the middle of the room, shirtless looking at her, concerned. She thought for a minute about hiding them but she knew that there would be no point. She held the photos out to him and he took them, frowning. His eyebrows furrowed as he shuffled through them.
“What-what is this?” He looked mad now, eyes burning. His knuckles were white as he gripped them ”Who took these?”
She took a deep breath “ His name is Ryan. I dated him for a few months before I moved here, to get away from him. He started stalking me, saying we were meant to be and he couldn’t live without me. I thought I got away from him but he found me. He left roses on my car this morning. And he texted me just now.”
“How long has this been going on?”
She looked down “A few days. That’s where the flowers came from the other day. And I got a weird phone call at my office last week. -“
“A few days? And your just telling me this now?”
“I’m sorry. I thought he would just go away. I was wrong.”
Yeah I’d say you were. We need to go to the police.”
“I already have. They can’t do anything about it. Besides he’s just trying to scare me.”
“ And what happens when that’s not enough for him anymore? What happens then? If you think this creep is going to be content to watch you forever, your wrong. He’s going to hurt you.”
“I know I’m-I’m sorry.”
“That’s it. I’m moving in here.”
“What?! No!”
“It’s not up for discussion. Till this guy goes away I’m staying here.”
She wanted to be annoyed, but in all honesty she was relieved. She felt safe with him in the apartment, and it felt good to get this off her chest.
“And what are we going to tell our friends?”
“Would it be so bad if they just knew about us? I mean really Hal. Your starting to make me feel like I’m just a good lay and that’s the only reason you keep me around.”
She looked hurt for a minute and her expression softened “Matty. I’m sorry.” She put a hand on his arm and rugged him closer “I never meant to make you feel that way. I’m just scared okay. Of this, of Ryan of everything. We will talk about this, but give me some time.”
He pursed his lips for a minute before he nodded.
“Okay. That’s fair.”
She squeezed his arm before wrapping her own around him, her head resting on his chest near his heart. He was so big and safe, any worry she had about Ryan out the window, as she stood listen to his heart beating through his shirt.
She had lived by herself for so long it was weird having a roommate. Especially one who walked around mostly shirtless and slept in her bed. She learned a lot about him in the following days. She learned how incredibly sweet he was, and how much he loved his mom and his sister. She learned he slept on the left side of the bed, that he never had a dog growing up, and that he was not the pest that everyone saw on the ice. She learned that he loved to dance, and they had spent much time slow dancing in her kitchen, and that he could talk about everything and anything late at night. His voice, which had annoyed the hell out of her just a few months ago, now soothed her every time she heard it. She liked seeing him smile at her across the table, or next to her while they brushed teeth, and his presence had become a comfort that she never knew she needed. She had fallen hard for Matthew Tkachuk, just like she knew she would.
One particular rainy Sunday morning she had woken up to his big rough hands barely brushing the bare skin of her back. She rolled over eyes still closed, lips immediately finding his in the dim light of her bedroom. He kissed her deeply, lips moving slowly, tongue pushing inside her mouth. There was already minimal clothing on, so it didn’t take long before he was pushing inside her. She let out a breath, eyes closing slowly. Each time was more enthralling than the last time. He moved slowly, lazily hot breath on her neck. She reached up, running her fingers through his hair. She could her the dull pounding of rain hitting her window, the thick grey clouds making the room dim. But she could see those eyes burning into her own, as he moved above her, curls falling into his eyes. He leaned down and kissed her heavily, as his pushes became faster until he let out a ragged breath as she tensed around him, her own high coming with his.
“Can we stay in bed all day and do that again?”
Before she could answer she heard her front door open and then close. Panic rose in her throat as Matt jumped off the bed, yanking a pair of gym shorts on and banged the bedroom door open. He couldn’t believe this creep was bold enough to come into her apartment in broad daylight, but he was going to kill him before he got the chance to ever do it again.
“Matty wait!” She whispered pulling a T-shirt over her head as she hurried out behind him. To her horror it was not Ryan in her kitchen, but Noah and Carly standing there with wide eyes and open mouths.
“What the hell?” Noah said, eyebrows raised so far up his forehead they were in danger of disappearing into his hairline.
Hallies face had bypassed Red and turned Maroon as she shrank down behind him under Carly’s glare.
“Are you two serious right now?” She asked hands on her hips, looking between them.
“How long has this been going on?” Noah asked. He too was frowning, arms crossed. He knew something was up, and they had become even more suspicious when Hallie started being magically busy the past few weeks, coupled with Matthew being notably absent and coming and going at all hours. They had never though thought in a million years they would find them shacked up together in Hallies apartment.
Matthew took a deep breath and turned to look at her before looking back at their friends “Since that weekend at the lake.”
Carly sucked in a loud breath, eyes huge. She sputtered for a few moments, words completely escaping her.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” She asked after a few moments. She looked hurt. Hallie had wanted to tell her so bad, but she didn’t want to say it out loud. She was so scared that she had even let him in, but now to tell everyone else? That was terrifying.
“Let’s talk about this another time yeah?” Noah said, giving Carly’s arm a gentle squeeze.
“No.” Matt said “Let’s talk about it now. We didn’t tell you guys because we didn’t really know what to say. I honestly still don’t know what this is.”
“But there’s something else too.” Hallie reached behind her to pick up the envelope full of photos and handed them to Carly. She looked alarmed as she pulled them out, face turning white.
“Hallie.” She whispered.
“What the fuck?” Noah said, grabbing a few photos from Carly’s hand, and looking at both of them clearly confused.
“Sit down.” Matt said, patting the counter and walking to the fridge to pull out the liquor “We’ll tell you everything.”
And they did. They started with the lake house and went from there. Hallie and Carly walked Noah and Matt through the details on what had happened with Ryan and how they had come to Calgary to get away from him. Noah was so angry about the stalking, and the fact that she had kept it from them, he gave her a very stern talking to.
“This creep could have hurt you. Both of you.” He said glaring at Carly as well “We can’t keep you safe if we don’t know what we’re trying to keep you safe from.”
“I know, and I’m sorry.” Carly said giving his hand a squeeze.
“Now that we’re all in the loop I think we can agree that you two can’t go places alone for right now.” Matt said rubbing his chin “It’s just the way it is. Until this guy goes away or does something to get arrested for it has to be this way. When we have away games you two have some kind of sleepover or something. Have Jay come too.”
Carly giggled “I don’t really see Jay taking down an intruder, but safety in numbers right.” They laughed and the mood seemed to change. They decided to order takeout, and Hallie realized how much better she felt not keeping secrets. To finally have her and Matt out there in the open felt good, and natural.
After Noah and Carly left, it was just them in her apartment. He was smiling at her, a smile she hadn’t seen before. He walked very slowly towards her, eyes burning into her own.
“Thank you.” He said coming to a stop in front of her, hands resting on her shoulders.
“For?”
“For telling our friends. I know it wasn’t easy, and I know you didn’t want to, and I know your not my girlfriend or anything but thank you.”
“You haven’t actually asked me to be your girlfriend.”
He shrugged “I’m not really in the market for a relationship right now so.”
She gaped at him till he burst out laughing and swept her up, carrying her down the hallway towards her bedroom.
“Come on. Let’s go do boyfriend girlfriend stuff.”
********
As news of their new relationship spread, Matthews performance on the ice skyrocketed. He was having a great season, exploding on the ice and making headlines every game. He was still a pest, and that would probably never change, but he found himself playing with a confidence he didn’t know he had.
Plus it was an added bonus to look up and see Hallie sitting in the stands, looking so damn good with his name across her back. She was a steady constant in his life, and he found that having a real relationship was better than any hookup.
After one particularly physical game, Hallie waited nervously in the hallways outside the dressing room. Noah exited followed by Johnny and came over dropping a kiss on Carly’s cheek and turning to Hallie with a smile. Johnny gave her a gentle bump on the shoulder and grinned when he saw her expression.
“He’ll be out in a second.”
She peeked our from behind Him, as the door banged open and Matt came through the doors of the locker room, wet curls falling around his face with a casual elegance, cheeks pink, tie loosened around his neck. His eyes searched around the room till they landed on her and he smiled.
That damn smile.
He accepted a few pats on the back from his teammates as he made his way over to her, and stopped a few feet in front of her. She looked him over not noticing any injuries or blood and he held his arms out wide.
“ I’m fine Hallie. “
She breathed an audible sigh of relief and fell gratefully into his arms. He was so big and warm and she closed her eyes and breathed him in.
Watching Him fight had been a confusing expression to say the least. She had seen videos of it on YouTube but watching it happen live was completely different than through the tv screen. It was horrible because he was her boyfriend and she didn’t want him to get hurt, but it was enthralling to watch him throw his 6”2 frame around with such confidence on the ice. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to kiss him or smack him and the whole experience had left her emotionally drained.
They made idle chatter as they made their way out of the SaddleDome and into the parking garage, making plans to get together with some other guys from the team the following evening.
Once they were buckled in the car he turned to find her already staring at him.
“What?”
Her eyes were squinted and her head was turned to the side and like a flash of lightning she had hopped from the passenger seat to the back. He wasted no time following her, as they hurriedly pulled at whatever clothing was necessary to come off. She tugged the zipper of his suit pants down, and hiked up her skirt. She was dressed for work, having come to the game right from there with no time to change. She motioned for him to sit but he shook his head and leaned her back against the backseat, coming in between her legs. She settled in, opening her legs. His eyes bugged as he watched her pull the skirt up to reveal she wasn’t wearing stocking, but black thigh highs, and no underwear.
“Hal.” He breathed as she pulled his suit pants down enough and guided him towards her entrance. Her eyes closed and she arched back against the seat at the sensation of him pushing inside of her. He pushed again, adrenaline pumping through him as he quickened his pace, pushing deeper with each thrust.
“Matty.” She breathed, pulling his face to hers so she could kiss him. She fisted his dress shirt in her hands, as she pushed her tongue inside his mouth kissing him sloppily. Her legs began to ache as his pushed became erratic, and she came, him following shortly after. They say breathing heavily for a few minutes before he pulled out of her and sat next to her, situating his suit pants and turning to her. She smiled tiredly at him, eyes closing as he ran his fingers through her hair.
“Take me home.”
********
Hallie felt a twinge of annoyance at the way the girl was so obviously flirting with him and he was doing nothing to stop her. After a long night and a lot of sex, Hallie was overly tired and hadn’t really been in the mood to go out at all. She only had because she promised Carly she would. Matthew had gone to the bar to get a drink and was immediately approached By some bimbo in a short skirt, and that was all it took to bring Hallies mood down even more than it already was.
“Relax Hal.” Carly warned. She could feel an angry heat creep up her neck as she watched him smile at the girl, way to friendly for a guy who had a ‘girlfriend.” She angrily slugged the rest of her drink before setting it down loudly on the table.
“I’m going to the bathroom.” She said stand up and storming towards the ladies room sign, glaring at the back of the girls head who was flirting with her boyfriend.
She burst through the door, startling several girls who were fixing their makeup and blinked away angry tears while she went pee. Who did he think he was? They finally tell their friends the truth and here he was laughing and smiling with some random girl in the bar.
When she exited the bathroom she felt a hand on her arm. She turned ready to chew Matt out, when she realized the hand wasn’t his. She froze. It felt like someone was pouring maple syrup over head, and it was trickling down her body suffocating her as she came face to face with Ryan.
“Hi Hallie. I’ve missed you.”
“Get away from me Ryan.”
“I’m sorry about the photos, it was the only way I knew to get a hold of you after you blocked my phone number.”
“And what about the flowers on my car? How did you find my apartment?”
“I just know that you really love pink roses.”
“How did you find my house?”
He took a step forward and backed her further into the corner. Carly had noticed the exchange from across the bar and stood suddenly knocking her stool back and startling Noah. Matt turned from the conversation he was having to look at her as she jumped over the stool.
“That’s Ryan.”
As Hallie tried to maneuver around Ryan he grabbed her arm.
“Hallie please talk to me.” As she tried to pull away there was a commotion and Ryan’s face went white, a look of terror flashing across it. She turned just in time for a fist to come flying over her shoulder and connect solidly with Ryan’s face.
“Matty no!” She tried to grab on to the back of his T-shirt as he surged forward, punching Ryan again. He was so much bigger than her and she struggled nearly falling forward, until Noah appeared and grabbed Matt around the middle hauling him backwards. Johnny was standing looking at the scene with his mouth open and Carly was attempting to help Noah pull Matt towards towards the entrance. Hallie bit back tears and gave Ryan once last glance before she followed her friends out of the bar.
She burst through the door of her apartment not checking to see if he was behind her or not. She was so angry at him for what he had done she didn’t even want to look at him.
“Look I’m sorry okay?” He said leaning against the doorframe. The cut above his eyebrow had stopped bleeding and he was flexing his fingers, bruises beginning to bloom across his knuckles. “I just. When I saw that guy grab you like that, I don’t know. I just reacted” He looked at his hand and sighed “ it’s cuz I fucking love you okay?”
“You have to stop punching first and asking questions later. You almost punched me in the face!”
“I would never punch you in face Hal-“
“Your fist was two inches from hitting me.”
He looked at his feet embarrassed before she continued.
“And don’t think I didn’t see you flirting with that girl either!”
“What? What girl?”
“The bimbo at the bar who’s chest you couldn’t stop staring at! Thanks for making a complete idiot out of me in front of everyone!”
“This is never gonna change is it? Your never going to trust me.”
“Give me one good reason why I should?! You fill my head with air about wanting to have relationship with me then you flirt with some girl at the bar!”
They were standing ten feet apart, red faced and screaming at each other.
“I don’t need this.” He snapped grabbing his he let and leaving the room. She followed him.
“No you don’t need this and you clearly don’t need me either. Get out!”
“I am. And I won’t be coming back either.” He slammed the door behind him as she stood there, fists balled up at her sides. She listened to him walk angrily down the hallway until his footsteps could no longer be heard.

TAGLIST:   @holland23567 @trulysuccubus @pearlkitten33
You were at the salon getting yourself a downright sickening blowout. You could feel how silky the hair was and you were happy for a change. You didn’t wanna do something so drastic like chopping your hair, but you needed something new.
“You finessed the hell out of my hair. Thank you so much Shonda.” You smiled at your longtime hair stylist.
“You know I got you, girl.” Shonda smiled back, still running her fingers through the hair and slinging it over your shoulder. She noticed you looking at your phone, “You got a hot date with that fine ass Angel?”
You felt a tug on your heart at the mention of him. “Nope. We aint together anymore and no I don’t want to talk about it.” You got up out of the seat and placed the money she owed plus a tip on the vanity.
“Oh, uh okay. I’ll see you next time!” Shonda called out to you as you practically ran out of the salon to avoid any further questions about you and Angel.
You breathed a sigh of relief at being outside and away from the possible interrogation that would have happened if you stayed there longer. You were ready to casually talk about your breakup with others. You were not over it.
The familiar smell of delicious Mexican food wafted through your nostrils as you reached your lunch destination for the day. You walked in and saw who you were looking for already at a table.
“Hey Nes.” You greeted the man with a smile that turned into a giggle as he stood up from his seat and pulled you in a big hug, lifting your feet off the ground a little. “Put me down.”
“I’m just happy to see you, mi cielo.” Nestor murmured, letting your feet drop back down to the floor and leading to the table.
“Oh don’t start sweet talking me.” You laughed, taking a seat.
“Ain’t no one sweet talking you. I can if you’d like me too. I see you with the straight silky locs. You trying to impress me?” He teasingly asked as he sat across from you.
“Boy, please.” You scoffed, taking a look at the menu.
“Good. Cause I’m already impressed by you.” He replied in such an earnest tone, it caused her to stop looking at her menu to meet his eyes.
The look in his eyes made her pause. He was staring at you so intently that you were relieved when the server came to get their orders. You had no idea what to say to him. Nestor really was a nice guy. He was fine, secure, and had yet to disappoint you. You’d been relying on him a lot over these last few weeks. He’d kept you company, wiped your tears, and made you laugh. He showed up every time he said he would, but what did that mean?
It wasn’t until after you two enjoyed a hilarious and delicious lunch together that you felt ready to broach the subject. You two were standing in front of his car saying your goodbyes.
“You’re a great friend and I appreciate you so much. You know that, right Nes?” You asked him, fiddling with the collar of his shirt.
“Of course, cielo.” He responded, his hands on your hips.
He pulled you in for a hug and you hugged him tight. When you two pulled back, he leaned forward as if to kiss you and you buried your face in his chest. Nestor instead held you tightly again and placed several kisses on your exposed neck. The kisses make you shiver and you pull away again to look at him.
“Nestor..” You begin but get interrupted by his phone going off.
He checked his phone and pulled further away from you. “It’s Miguel. I gotta go, but call me later okay?” He placed a kiss on your forehead and then he was hopping in his car and speeding away to meet Miguel wherever.
You just stood in the same spot he left you, staring at the tail lights of his car until you can’t see them anymore.
xxxxxxxx
The “alliance” between the Mayans and the Galindo Cartel was a precarious situation from the very beginning. Things had grown more tense with the dissolution of Y/N’s relationship with Angel and her blossoming friendship with Nestor. Meetings between the gangs had an added uneasiness with Angel glaring at Nestor and Miguel’s bodyguard not giving him any energy back.
It had been two weeks since the diner and Angel could not get those images out of his head. Angel was waiting for the right opportunity to address Nestor. Where the fuck does Nestor get off having his hands all on you? Yes, Angel knew you were mad at him, but that doesn’t mean he was ready to see you with anyone else especially someone associated with fucking Galindo. He wanted him to stay away from you.
The opportunity presented itself when Miguel left the meeting with his other guards, leaving Nestor behind to complete a different task. The Mayans had all turned to head back into the clubhouse but Angel stayed behind and walked up on Nestor.
“Aye!” Angel barked out at Nestor’s retreating form as he walked up on him. “What are you doing with Y/N? I saw y’all the other day.”
Nestor turned around and stared at him for a minute before saying, “What the fuck did you say to me?”
“You heard me. Why are you sniffing around her? She’s not gonna be with you. She still loves me.”
“Oh she told you that? Then why aren’t y’all still together huh? Cause y’all aint together right now right? Right?” Nestor asked, staring Angel down. Angelcito would be even more upset to learn Nestor just came from lunch with you, but he wasn’t about to gloat out of respect for you.
“Yeah but-”
“And whose fault is that?”
Angel was silent. He knew it was his fault. He didn’t need to be reminded by the likes of Nestor. As the man went on, Angel found himself getting angrier and angrier. His hands balling into fists.
“So let me get this straight: you fuck some random bitch so Y/N dumps you and now you in my face because you fucked up and lost her?” Nestor stared at Angel and chuckled. How pathetic could he be? The audacity of the Mayan to tell him anything was laughable. “Own your shit, homes. Don’t worry about what I’m doing.”
Angel couldn’t take it anymore and grabbed Nestor by the shirt and pushed him up against the car. “Stay the fuck away from her.” He barked, voice harsh and loud.
The commotion must have gotten someone’s attention because the Mayans poured out of the clubhouse, pulling Angel off Nestor who only laughed and straightened his shirt.
Bishop tried to apologize for Angel but Nestor waved him off, still laughing. “I’ll give him that one. We can chalk it up to emotional distress at his recent loss.” He goes from speaking to Bishop to looking Angel dead in the eyes. “But if you put your hands on me again I’ll blow your brains out and leave your mangled body at your pop’s front door, comprende?”
Nestor was in his car and gone without another word. Angel just watched him go, before turning to look at EZ. EZ could tell from the look on his face that he was planning something and he just hoped it did not backfire and make things even worse.
xxxxxxxx
“Open the fucking door!” You screamed, banging your fist against the locked office door. You couldn’t believe you had gotten played like this. “Whoever is on the other side: EZ, Coco, Gilly, or even Letty when I get out of here I'm gonna hurt you.” You threatened, but the door remained closed.
You had received a text from Chucky asking you to stop by the garage to look over some contracts with him. You had the day off so it was no big deal. When you walked in the office you were not greeted by Chucky but instead a pensive Angel. Obviously this had been a set up.
“It’s not getting opened until I say the magic word.” Angel explained from the chair he had yet to move from. He was completely relaxed and his sentence just confirmed what you already knew: he set this whole thing up.
“Oh so it’s you I should hurt, then?” You turned around from the door and crossed your arms as you stared at him. “Why would you do this?”
“I needed to see you.”
You scoffed. “Angel tell them to open this door right now.”
“No.”
“No?” You angrily walked to the desk and swiped a paper weight off the desk that you chucked at his chest, hitting him square on the collarbone.
“Ow! Shit.” He groaned, rubbing where the weight hit him.
“I will throw everything on this desk at you. Let me out.” You threatened once again and he stood up from the seat. He walked around the desk and every step he took, you took one backwards.
He was approaching but you wanted to keep some space between the two of you. It wasn’t until you backed into the door that you realized he was just getting you away from the potential weapons on the desk.
“Okay fine.” You threw your hands up in defeat. “Fine. Let’s talk Angel. What would you like to discuss?”
“Your hair looks nice. You’ve never worn it like that before. You look beautiful.” He complimented.
“Thanks.” You were wound up so tight as you tried to keep your emotions in check.
“I bet Nestor likes it too.”
You narrowed your eyes at the mention of Nestor. “Why are you bringing him up?”
“Just heard you two have been hanging out.” He tried to nonchalantly mention, but you saw right through that.
“I know you’re not jealous. Please fuck right off with that. If you want to talk about Nestor, this conversation ends now.” You were not about to get into a discussion about Nestor with Angel. It wasn’t his business and also you weren’t even sure what was going on. The last time you saw him was at lunch earlier in the week.
Angel was silent for a moment as he debated with himself. “Do you miss me? Cause I miss you.” He asked, staring at you.
“No.” You tried to keep a bored look on your face.
“You really don’t miss me at all, querida? You don’t miss us?” He implored, taking a step closer to you.
It was quiet as you two simply stared at each other. He was waiting for an answer and you were fighting with yourself to keep quiet.
“Of course I miss you, you selfish asshole!” You finally exploded. You missed him every damn day. The situation was hard enough but he made it worse by just not leaving you alone. “Doesn’t mean I want or need to be with you. You don’t understand that I can’t trust you Angel. I refuse to torture myself by being with you and worrying what you’re doing every second of the day.”
“I want to earn your trust back. You tell me what you want me to do and that’s what I’ll do. Starting right now. You want me on my knees? What’s that Temptations song….I aint too proud to beg right? Call me David Ruffin.” Tears filled your eyes as you listened to him. This was the Angel you fell in love with. All earnest good intentions with a side of sarcastic asshole that you found irresistible. “Give me something, Y/N. We can’t just end like this. I can’t accept this. I know it’s my fault, but I can’t let you go.”
“You have to! I just..I can’t Angel. You hurt me so fucking much. I can’t go back. I won’t let you do it again. I won’t.” You began shaking your head as the tears poured down your cheeks. He shattered your heart with his actions and selfishness. You would never put yourself in that position again. And yet, your traitorous heart still yearned for him.
Angel had tears in his eyes as he watched you break down. He took your face in his hands and wiped your tears. “Oh, querida. I’m sorry. I’m so fucking sorry.” He repeated apologies and sweet nothings over and over again as he held you close.
After crying for a moment, you raised your head and looked up at Angel. “Sorry just isn’t enough.”
He didn’t know what to say. He didn’t know how to make it better. So he did the only thing he could do. The thing he’s been wanting to do for almost two months and he kissed you firmly on the lips.
You froze at first before gripping his kutte tightly as he pinned you to the door. The kiss was sloppy, passionate, and everything you missed about being with you. He kissed you like a man who knew exactly what you liked and he did. You both pushed all of your pent up feelings into that kiss.
He got your legs spread and wrapped around his waist as he pushed you even harder into the wall. You grinded against him as you two continued to explore each other’s mouths.
The pounding on the door broke you two out of the haze of emotionality and lust you’d lost your head in.
“Angel! Get out here! Now.” EZ called out through the door. There was an undercurrent to his voice that made you pause. What was going on?
Angel was content to continue kissing you, but you pushed him away and let your legs hit the floor again. You fixed your hair and wouldn’t look him in the eyes.
“Y/N…” Angel began, but you ignored him as you opened the now unlocked door.
When you stepped out Angel was right behind you and he bumped into your back as you froze, after seeing who was on the other side of the door.
EZ was the first face you saw and then you noticed Coco towards the back of the room. Behind EZ stood a strange young guy next to a familiar face you hadn’t seen in awhile.
Adelita
You hadn’t seen her since that fateful day. Your blood turned to ice as you looked at her now. Did she know Angel had a woman when they began their affair? Would it have made a difference had she known? You give her a once over, trying to figure out what made her so damn special. What was so good about her that he’d break his promises to you? What made her better than you?
It wasn’t until the other woman shifted in her stance that you noticed the hand she had placed over her stomach….over a slight bump that was only just becoming visible.
You stopped breathing.
Adelita was pregnant.

Chapter 8
“Ari, wake up, it’s nearly 10.” I wake to Jax gently shaking me, Abel laying on the bed next to me cooing away.
“What?” I grumble.
“It’s nearly 10, Sophia keeps asking if you are getting up. I have to get to work.” Jax states, planting a kiss on my forehead before picking up Abel and leaving the room. I lay there for a minute thinking about the events of yesterday, worrying if I’m leading Jax on. “Come on Buddy, let's get you changed and ready.”
I walk into the Abel’s room. “Jax. I’m gonna need the keys to the Caddy, so Sophia and I can change, but we will get Subway and bring you a sandwich. Maybe you can push her on the swing instead of Channing. Sophia and I can take Abel with us, if you would be comfortable with that.”
“Chucky!” Sophia yells from her spot on the daybed. “His name is Chucky, and he’s my friend.”
“Sorry, Chucky.”
Jax chuckles. “If you guys don’t mind taking Abel, that would be great. I’ll take the bike to the clubhouse, and you guys can drop off Gemma’s car and pick up the bug.”
“After lunch though, daddy.” Sophia says. “Are you gonna eat with us?”
“You better believe it, darlin’.”
“What kind of sandwich do you want, daddy?” Sophia asks.
“Your mommy knows.” He says, lifting up Abel and handing him to me. “I have to go to work. Sophia, can I get a hug?”
“Yes, Daddy!” Sophia yells, throwing herself into his waiting arms, wrapping her little ones around his neck.
“That is the best hug I have ever gotten Sophia! You give really good hugs!” Jax says to her, giving her a kiss on her chubby, little cheek.
“Mommy’s friend Kelsey says that too!” Sophia turns to look at me. “When are we going to see Kelsey?” Sophia asks.
“Soon, baby.”
“Alright, I gotta get going. I love you all.” Jax says, pecking me on the lips, kissing Abel’s head, and making his way toward the door, leaving me dumbfounded.
“Love you too, daddy! We will see you for lunch!” Sophia yells after him.
“Ready to go, baby?” I ask Sophia as I finish bucking Abel into his carseat.
“Yeah mommy.”
“Gemma?” I holler, walking into the house.
“In here.” I walk toward the living room. “I moved the birds and cleaned up so Sophia has a place to play. I unpacked you guys already, and Clay and I got her some new toys. I hope that’s okay.”
“Gem, it’s great! Thank you!” I smiles, hugging her.
“Where did y’all stay last night?” Gemma asks with a knowing grin.
“With Jax. Before you ask it wasn’t like that. Nothing is ever going to happen between Jax and I. We told Sophia last night, Gemma, she knows now.”
“Whatever you say, sweetheart.” Gemma grins. “How did it go?”
“She made him promise not to hurt her and I like Darren and Opie did, and made Jax promise to protect her from birds, let her ride on his shoulders, and love her as much as he loves Abel. He agreed, so she took it well.” I say, smiling slightly. “Sophia, don’t you need to ask Grandma Gemma something?”
“Grandma, do you think Papa Clay can scare away the monsters while I’m here? I don’t want them to hurt me, and some are too big for Hank to protect me from.” Sophia says, wrapping her arms around Gemma’s legs.
“I think he would love too, sweet girl. I also think you should ask him when you take your daddy lunch, just to make sure he promises you. Because Clay will never break a promise.”
“Go get dressed Sophia, we need to go. Grandma Gemma will show you where everything is.” I say, taking Abel and walking toward my temporary room.
“Hi, sweet boy.” I coo, making Abel smile and shove his hand in his mouth. I set him down where I can see him and go to my closet. Dresses. I go to the dresser and find what I was looking for, shorts, jean shorts. I pull a Panic! At The Disco tank top on, knowing that almost all of my bruises are gone, and grab a pullover in case it gets chilly later.
“Hey sweetheart.” Gemma says standing in my doorway.
“Hey Gemma. I was thinking, maybe you could drop us off at T-M after we pick up lunch for us and the guys, so I can get the bug.”
“I can do that.” Gemma says
“Mommy, don’t I look pretty?” Sophia asks, coming into my room.
“You do! In fact, that looks an awful lot like a dress I had when I was your age.” I smile at her while grabbing Abel. “Let’s go see if daddy likes your dress.”
“Juicey!” Sophia shouts, spotting the Mohawk right away. “We brought you a sandwich!”
“Thank you! I needed a sandwich!” He replies.
She spots Clay and runs over to him. “Papa! I have to ask you a question!” She says running toward him, stopping after dropping Hank in some dirt. “Haaaaank!” She screams and sits down on the ground next to him. “I’m sorry I got you dirty again. Do you promise to come back to me again if you go on vacation?” She begins to sob, tears running down her cheeks
Jax comes out of the clubhouse with Chibs and Half Sac following him, he stops when he spots Sophia on the ground, and runs over to her. “Sophia, baby, what’s wrong?”
“Th-th-the last time I g-got Hank dirty, he ha-had to g-go on v-v-vac-cation. I d-d-didn’t mean to g-get him d-d-dirty, p-pl-ple-ease don’t be m-mad, daddy.” Sophia says, sobbing into his chest.
“I’m not mad, baby. We will get Hank all clean, I promise.” Jax picks her up off the ground, and Hank too, and walks over to the picnic table.
“Jax! What happened?” I ask, walking over to where they were sitting, setting down Abel and everyone's sandwiches.
“She dropped Hank and then thought I would be mad at her and send him on vacation.”
“I should’ve been watching her, Jax. I’m-”
“No. You were doing a lot. Like helping with Abel, and getting everyone's food. This isn’t your fault, she probably would’ve dropped him anyway.” Jax says pulling Sophia, who is still sobbing, in for a hug. Grabbing Hank, he begins to wipe off the dirt. I look down at Jax holding Sophia and wiping the dirt off Hank, this family thing might work.
“Daddy?” Sophia says, looking up at Jax. “Thank you for not sending Hank on vacation. I love you.” She wraps her arms around Jax’s neck, and Opie lets out a deep growl making Sophia gasp.
“Where’s the sandwiches Sophia?” Juice says, with a smile on his face, rounding the corner. “What happened.” The smile falling off his face, being replaced with a look of concern.
“She dropped Hank, and Opie scared her.” Jax said, looking up at Juice. “Sophia, why don’t you sit with papa Clay for a little bit while I go talk to Opie, Okay?” Jax says, kissing her cheek before handing her to Clay and giving Hank back to her. “Opie.”
“Sophia.” I sit where Jax had been sitting. “Isn’t there something you need to ask papa Clay?”
“While I am at your house, with you and Grandma Gemma, will you scare away the monsters under the bed? I don’t want them to hurt me.”
“Of course I will, Princess.” He holds out his pinky. “I promise.”
“Sophia, my friend Piney would like to hold you. He is Opies daddy.” I say to her.
She goes over to where he is sitting and climbs up on his lap, facing him. “Hi.” She says, looking up at him. “Opie hurt my mommy, but you didn’t, so I’m not mad at you.” She says, before she turns around, sets Hank down on the table, and begins to eat her sandwich.
“Daddy!” Sophia says excitedly when she sees him again. “Thank you for cleaning Hank off. You got hurt, daddy. Are you okay?”
I look over at him. “Jax.”
“I’m fine darlin’. Nothing a little love and a couple alcohol pads can’t fix, after lunch of course.”
“Daddy?”
“Yes, sweet girl?”
“Do you like my dress?” She asks, looking down at it.
He puts his hand on her chin. “I love it, darlin’. It looks like the one your mommy used to have when she was your age. Except the zipper isn’t safety pinned in the back.” He says. “Your mommy still hates wearing dresses. Skirts, she doesn’t mind, but she HATES dresses.”
“Can I have a bite of your sandwich, daddy?” Sophia asks from her seat on Piney’s lap.
“Can you come sit over here, I don’t want to drip sauce on everything.”
“Thank you for letting me sit with you, Piney. You’re my friend.” Sophia says before turning to give him a hug, grabbing Hank, and walking over to Jax.
“She has really good manners.” Piney whispers to me after we move Sophia's sandwich closer to her.
“Yeah, my ex, Darren, he would yell at her if she didn’t use them. One time he locked her in the bathroom because she asked him for some food. It was 4 in the afternoon, and I was at work.”
“What did she mean about Hank going on ‘vacation’?” Piney asks
“When Darren locked her in the bathroom, he destroyed all her stuff, saying he was ‘punishing’ her for not using her manners. I couldn’t bare to tell her  that all that was left of Hank was practically stuffing and a few threads of yarn. So, I said he went on vacation and will come back to her someday.”
“That’s cute.” He smiles at me. “Thank you for letting me hold her after my sons asshole move.”
“You’re welcome.”
“Daddy, did Opie hurt you?” Sophia asked looking up at him after everyone had finished eating, she was sitting on his lap, picking at the strings on his patches, noticing the black eye and split lip for the first time.
“We got into a fight because he is mad that you’re not around him anymore.” Jax said, rubbing her back while I fed Abel.
“But you’re my daddy and he’s not, so why would he be mad?” Sophia turns to look at me. “Mommy, did I something wrong? Am I in trouble? Should I go to the bathroom?”
“No, Sophia.” Jax interjected, before I could say anything. “You did nothing wrong, you’re not in trouble, and you don’t need to go anywhere. Except the swingset. Want me to push you?”
“Really daddy? You’ll push me on the swing?” before he has time to answer, she gets up and grabs his hand. “Mommy, can Abel watch Hank while I play?”
“Of course he can, babe. You go and have fun.”
Sophia goes running toward the swingset, Jax following behind her.
“We need to talk.” Opie says to me.
“No Opie. We don’t, we have nothing to talk about.”
“Please?” Opie begs.
“What do you want?” I sigh, knowing he isn’t going to let up.
“I’m sorry. The things I said were awful, and I was pissed at Jax.”
“Opie. You were pissed at Jax, and because of that, Sophia now knows the truth. She knows that Jax is her real daddy. She also knows that you hurt mommy.” Chibs grabs Abel to burp him, putting Hank back on the table.
“Just give me one more chance to prove I can be a good dad.”
“No, Ope. You fucked up your own kids, I’m not gonna let you do the same to Sophia.”
Opie slapped me across the face. “Do NOT talk about my family again. You don’t know anything.” I stand there, clutching my cheek, trying to wrap my head around what just happened, tears springing to my eyes as I looking into the guilty eyes of the man I once called my best friend.
“Mommy, why did Opie hit you?” Sophia asked standing behind me, holding Jax’s hand. “Opie, why did you hit my mommy. You promised me you wouldn’t hurt her.” She runs away, in tears, toward the office that she knows Gemma is usually in.
“I have to go talk to her.” I said moving from between the two men, seething and pissed off at each other.
“Darlin’. Let me see your cheek.” Jax growls.
“Jax, it’s nothing.”
He gently pulls my hand away from my cheek, a red handprint starting to bruise. “This shouldn’t have happened. You don’t deserve this.”
“Jax. It’s fine, I’m used to it.”
“You shouldn’t be.” He let's go of my wrist and kisses my opposite cheek. “Go check on Phia, she wanted to tell you something.”
I smile up at him and walk toward the office.
“What the fuck man? You had to hit Ari, and in front of our daughter?”
“She was talking about Donna and the kids.”
“That doesn’t mean you can hit her! Do you know all of what she has been through. Do you know all of what Darren did to her and Sophia?” Jax asked.
“No…”
“Right, you don’t, and I don’t either. I’m slowly trying to figure this shit out, and you gotta go and fuck this shit up. I should punch you, I’m not going too, because Sophia is coming, I can hear her humming. But if she weren’t about to see it, I would hit you so hard you see stars tomorrow. Stay the hell away from my family. Understand? I don’t even know who you’ve become.”
“Daddy.” Sophia says, wrapping her arms around his legs and hiding her face from Opie. “Mommy’s crying. Can you help?”
“Phia.” Jax says, pulling her up over his shoulders. “Take me in the direction of your mommy. And Opie, be gone when we come back out.”
“Onward, noble steed.” Sophia says, pointing in the direction of Gemma’s office. Jax laugh, hopping around, faking like he’s going to knock her off his shoulders, giggles erupting from the tiny girl as she clutches his hair.
“Jax.” I say, looking up at him from where I’m sitting. He’s panting, and hunched over, with a giggling Sophia on his shoulders.
“Darlin’.” He pants. He pulls Sophia off his shoulders and sits next to me on the couch. His breathing evens out. “Sophia said you were crying, and she wanted me to come help.”
“Jax, you really didn’t have to do that. It would’ve been fine.”
“No, darlin’. He did to you what Darren did, and what he promised Sophia he wouldn’t do to you, hurt you. I’m not gonna let him get away with that.”
“Jax, he is just gonna have to learn to move on.”
“Mommy.” Sophia says from her place on Gemma’s lap. “Grandma Gemma has family photos of everyone but us. Can we take one? With A-Abel too?”
“If that’s what you want, sweetheart. Why don’t you come with me and help me check on him and Hank.” I say, hoping Jax is going to fill Gemma in on what happened.
“Mommy, are you okay?” Sophia asks as we make our way out of the room.
“Baby, I’m okay. I promise.” I reply, pulling her up into my arms and making my way over to Chibs but not before making sure Opie was gone.
“You okay, lass?” Chibs asks, turning my face to the side seeing the bruise that is forming.
“I’m fine.” I reply, taking Abel from him as Sophia moves to climb up in his lap.
“Can you keep an eye on her? I’m going to go talk to Jax and Gemma.” I ask.
“Yes of course.” Chibs replies, tickling her belly.
“Ari, baby, I’m so sorry.” Gemma replies, pulling me into a hug.
“I don’t know what got into him. The Opie I know would never do anything like that.” I sob, putting my face in Gemma’s neck as Jax takes Abel.
“He’s been going through a rough time, but that’s no excuse for what he did to you.” Gemma says, pulling back to look me in the eye. “How about I take the kids, and you and Jax can go relax and decompress after everything, it has been a crazy 2 months.” Gemma smiles. I can’t believe it has been 2 months since I stumbled into Charming by complete accident.
“I agree. We need some time to figure things out, babe.” Jax says, rubbing my back. I nod in agreement.
“Let me go talk to Soph and see if she’s okay with that.” I say, leaving the room.
“Hey, Sophia, come here a minute.” I yell, seeing my baby come running across the lot.
“Are you okay, mommy?” Sophia asks.
“I’m fine baby. I was wondering if you wanted to stay here with grandma Gemma and the boys while daddy and I go talk.”
“Yes!!!” Sophia yells running back to the guys to tell them she gets to stay. “Soph, don’t daddy and I get hugs?” I yell after her.
“Fine.” She sighs making her way back to the office. Hugging me and hugging Jax before running off again.
“Well I guess she’s okay with it.” I laugh, walking over and giving Abel a kiss before hugging Gemma.
“Y’all taking the bike?” Gemma asks.
“Hell yeah we are!” I exclaim, winking at Jax.
“Well I guess that answers that question, what the lady wants the lady gets.” Jax laughs.
“Thank you, Jax.”
“Oh course, darlin’.” Jax smiles, handing me his extra helmet. Any place in mind?”
“The water tower. We haven’t gone out there since that night.”
“You mean the night we conceived Phia?” Jax smirks, fully knowing the answer, throwing his leg over the bike.
“Shut up and drive.” I say, climbing on behind him clutching his waist, his ab muscles moving under my hands.
“Whatever you say, darlin’.” He replies, taking off out of the parking lot.
“Do you remember my senior prom? When my date bailed? And I made you bring alcohol, and we spiked the punch and everyone got alcohol poisoning?” I ask, looking up at him from my spot next to him at the top of the water tower. “I also remember someone in white sneakers an awful lot like yours helping me tag the school. Do you think they know who did it?”
“Babe, I’m 100% sure they know who did it.” Jax smirks. “We weren’t exactly subtle, I mean we initialed it, afterall.”
“No, you initialed it, Jax, I just helped.”
“That might not have been the brightest idea, but you didn’t get suspended for it so… I drove by the other day, I think they just painted over it, but it’s starting to chip.” Jax smiles, brushing the invisible dirt off his jeans.
“Nervous? I mean, we haven’t been up here since that night. If you want a repeat performance, you’re going to leave here slightly disappointed, Jax.”
“Oh, darlin’, if I tried to get a repeat performance you and I both know I would.” He smirks, brushing back my hair, rubbing his thumb over my lips.
“Yeah, good luck explaining that baby to your mom.”
“I didn’t mean the baby part! Soph and Abel are plenty for now!” Jax busts out laughing.
“Are you saying you don’t want to have more kids? You always said you’d want to have half a soccer team running around.”
“Baby, I’m saying I don’t want another kid right now, not that I don’t want anymore at all. I wouldn’t mind having a couple more kids with you.” Jax smiles.
“4, Jax. There are twelve players on a soccer team, you’d have to have six kids running around. I just hope they’d look more like you, and not like me.”
“Well, darlin’, if you are lookin’ to have 4 more kids I think we should start practicing.” Jax smirks.
“In your dreams, you cheeky bastard.”
“You’re right, I do dream about it, all the time.” Jax smirks, leaning in, closing his eyes, I turn my head his lips landing on my cheek.
“You didn’t think that line would work, did you?” I ask, with a laugh.
“Well I was hoping.”
“If you weren’t such a cheeky bastard I might’ve let you kiss me.”
“Really?!”
“Maybe, guess you’ll never know.” I smirk, making my way toward the latter.
“I’ll know one day, babe.” Jax says climbing down the water tower behind her.

Who’s the Hot Blond? Part I
Tumblr media
Word Count:  1,514
Warnings:  None
Author’s Note:  Oh my lord... so @vintagevalentinexx and I were talking and we realized that there’s not a lot of Benji Dunn fic to be had. Particularly not a lot of reader insert. So I decided that now’s as good a time as ever to throw my two cents into the pot.
This is my first piece that I’m posting here on this blog! So that’s exciting.
This is going to be a series, so sit tight. There’s more. Knowing me, this is probably going to get a little more maturely themed in later installments. In the mean time: please enjoy!
More parts can be found here
“Dammit, Ethan, Bangkok? Really?” you griped as you shut the door to the small studio apartment behind you, clicking the lock closed. “It’s gotta be a hundred goddamn degrees out there…”
“It’s 104,” Ethan quipped. “‘Sa matter? Can’t handle a little heat? I thought you wanted a vacation.”
“Yeah, I had somewhere a little less hot in mind,” you responded, looking at the small group of people huddled around the square dining table. Luther you knew from your brief stint in Qatar last February, but the other two you weren’t familiar with: a woman with beautiful, long, dark hair and a slim man sitting at a laptop, sweating like nothing else.
“Who’s the hot blond?” you asked, nodding at the group.
The woman turned to face you with her eyebrows furrowed over intense eyes.
“Him,” you nodded again.
She turned back and looked at the man across from her who didn’t look up from his screen. She returned to her work. She appeared to be taking some kind of device completely apart; miniscule metal bits littered the table around her station.
Ethan gave a shallow snort.
“That’s Benji.”
The man looked up, wide eyes the colour of seafoam searching for context.
“Um, hello,” he said, blinking at you. “I’m Benji, yeah, hi,” he raised a hand in a shallow wave. British. Nice.
“Hi,” you smirked, letting your bag fall off your shoulder. “So what’s the deal, Ethan? I had to leave a situation in Cairo for this.”
“Cairo’s going to take a few more days to pan out,” Ethan said, tossing you a thumb drive. “We only need you for a few hours. You’ll be back before you know it.”
“Right,” you flipped the drive over in your hand. You glanced back at the blond, who was typing again, before dipping to the floor and wrenching your laptop from your bag. “Where’s Will? I haven’t heard from him in a while.”
“He’s finally got himself a secretary to take orders from,” Ethan said.
“So I’m here to replace him?”
Ethan tipped his head a fraction.
You hummed as you turned the computer on.
“Jesus, it’d kill us to open a window?” you asked. You crouched where you stood, opening your laptop and tapping the power button.
“We can’t risk being heard,” Ethan replied. “I talked with the super a few minutes ago, they’ve got guys on the roof fixing the AC.”
“So relief is coming,” you said, stripping off the linen blouse you had on over your tank top. “Thank God.” Your computer powered on and you popped the thumb drive in.
“You’re gonna be on homeplate here with Benji,” Ethan said, stooping next to you. “Jane and I are going to infiltrate, Luther’s on extraction.”
Luther groaned at the table. You opened the file on the drive and activated the contents.
“Atlas?” you exclaimed when the file opened to reveal a detailed dossier of a man in his late fifties with a dark look in his eye, stoic though the set of his face may have been. “How the hell did you… we’ve been looking for him for…”
“We don’t have him yet, but we think we’re close.”
“Well, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, Ethan,” you looked sideways at him. “What do you have?”
“We’ve got one of his suppliers,” Ethan reached over and tapped a key. The face of a young Pakistani man flashed onto the screen along with a limited dossier. “He’s holed up in this district, we’re going to get him.”
“That’s it?” you turned to Ethan. “You’re just going to blunder in there, grab this guy, and leave?”
“Well, it’s gonna be a bit more finessed than that.”
Glancing up, you saw Benji standing from the table and stretching his arms over his head. His t-shirt rode up with the movement and showed off a lightly textured stomach. No visible hair, you noted.
“You’ll be receiving a phone call when these two try to get into the building,” Benji said, picking up an old model cell-phone from the table and tossing it to you.
You raised a hand and snatched it from the air.
“You’re the one who’s going to get us access,” Ethan added. “The tenants of that building value their privacy, and there’s some serious security that it would really be better if we could avoid engaging.”
Furrowing your eyebrows, you looked at the phone as Ethan continued. It was a chucky iPhone 3, cracked screen.
“It’s completely encrypted,” Benji said as he readjusted the hem of his shirt.
“Your script’s here,” Ethan tapped another key and a short text file popped up. You scanned the words.
“So… you brought me to Bangkok in the middle of summer to shout - in Thai - at a bodyguard?” you grimaced. “You have got some faith in me.”
“Can you do it?”
“You’d be screwed if I couldn’t,” you sniffed, re-reading the script. “Your grammar’s wrong, but I think we can fix it. Can I contact anyone about this or this a radio-silence situation?”
“Who do you need?”
“My teammate, Dominic Nguyen. The one with the birthmark? He knows a lot more Thai than I do.”
“Sure. How long until you’re ready?”
“When do you need me to be ready?”
“I’ll be ready in two hours,” Jane said, cocking the slide on a pistol.
“What are you doing?” you asked. When she didn’t answer you looked back at Ethan. “I’ll get him on the line. If you want this to sound authentic, it’ll be a worthwhile call.”
“Do what you need to do,” Ethan clapped you on the shoulder and stood.
“Benji Dunn.”
You looked up at the blond towering over you. He held out his hand. You laid the laptop on the ground and rose to your feet before taking it. His palm was hot and sweat soaked. Or was that yours? He was only a few inches taller than you, now that you stood before him.
“Y/N Y/L/N.”
“We’ve not met, have we?” he asked with a crooked grin and a twitch of his eyebrows. You could get lost in those eyes, so friendly and peaceful. You wondered if he ever used those to his advantage in the field.
“I’d remember,” you quipped. “It’s a pleasure.”
His grin grew before he let your hand go.
“So, we’re gonna be here,” he gestured to the table. “You can get set up any time.”
“I’m still working over here,” Jane said as she put a few more pieces together onto a larger device.
“What is she doing?” you asked under your breath.
“Oh, she’s, uh, she’s making a communications scrambler, or re-making it, I suppose,” Benji stuffed his hands in his pockets. “I’m trying to set up a lot of things at once, and she’s, well, she’s really quick setting up, so she’s just giving me a hand.”
“So you’re comms then?” you asked, crouching back on the floor and lifting your laptop onto your thighs.
“Technical… stuff in general,” he pursed his lips and bobbed his head vaguely up and down.
“Cool,” you smiled up at him. Was he turning red? “MI5?”
“What?” he furrowed his brow before his eyes grew wide. “Oh, no, IMF. Don’t let the accent fool you.”
His wide grin showed off a row of beautifully kept teeth. You closed your own lips self-consciously.
“Who are you with? Ethan didn’t exactly fill us in,” Benji said, gesturing down at you.
“IMF, too, technically,” you waved your hand in the air. “I’m kind of all over the place. I’m really more of a consultant. A liaison of sorts.”
“Linguistics?”
“Yeah.”
“Could you two save it? We’re on the clock,” Jane barked, snapping a piece onto her device loudly.
“Um, so just set up wherever,” Benji said, scratching the back of his neck. “Good to meet you.”
“You, too,” instead of flashing yet another smile - your face was starting to hurt - you looked down at your computer and started an encrypted video call.
“Y/N, I swear to God…” Dominic’s face was half obscured by his pillow in the low light.
“I’m on a mission and I’ve got two hours to make a convincing call in Thai,” you rattled. “I’m sending you the script.”
“Thai? You?” Dominic sat up and pulled his laptop from the floor. “Jesus, what, did they have no one else?”
“Favour for a friend,” you glanced at Ethan. “Short notice. Look, I get to yell, so I think I can cover it up a little, but the grammar needs work.”
Dominic clicked a few things on his laptop and his eyes went wide.
“‘Needs work’ is putting it lightly. I can fix it up in twenty. When are you on?”
“Two hours.”
“Alright,” Dominic cocked his head and bit the inside of his cheek. “Do you have those test phrases I sent you?”
“The ones from, like, eight months ago?” you winced. “I think so.”
Dominic sighed and a file popped up on your screen.
“Get practicing.”
“Yes, sir,” you quipped reading through the phrases in a mutter.

can we get a fic on cerberus, chucky, and slappy pls
SURE!
The two oldest of the brothers had been strolling back from a nearby 7/11 eating gummy worms and drinking ICEES.
"Bro the hell you talking about I'm a great driver"
"Bullshit! You're ass can barely parallel park"
"ASSHOLE"
Chucky was chuckling along, till he froze dead in his tracks.
"Why'd you stop?"
Chucky pointing with his chin, tilting his head upward, motioning in the direction in the figure.
"Is that?"
"Cerberus"
The redhead threw his drink on the ground and bolted after him. Slappy quickly followed after the two of them taking off in a high-speed chase. The two brothers were gaining rather quickly when the blue haired fiend began to climb up scaffolding from a building. Chucky was locked on and began to climb as well, and Slap was about to follow after till he could have felt the beam creak.
"...Oh hell no....CHUCKY I'M TAKING THE STAIRS I'LL MEET UP THERE"
"BITCH"
Chucky rolled his eye and climbed him the tall building praying he didn't slip and crack his skull on the concrete below.
"Surprised you made it this far"
"FUCK OFF"
Chucky dodged several kicks from Cerberus, nearly falling off.
"Ya know I liked you better as a doll! A much easier target to punt across a field"
"I liked it better when you knew to keep your fucking mouth shut"
"Face it Charles I'm younger and more agile than you, there's no way you'll beat me...in this situation at least....hehe...and by the way how's your leg...the left one if I remember correctly"
"......You"
"The concoction was rather simple really, but I'm shocked that you managed to survive it. I figured you would have tried to off yourself....Let me guess it overwhelmed your system....drove you mad...and finally wanted you to end it all....now did it? HAHA''
"........"
The blue haired man swung down and gave a sharp bone breaking below to Chucky's damaged leg, causing the redhead to scream in a bloodcurdling scream.
"You know I think I like this better....I get to see your pathetic face...when you finally plumet to your death"
Catching Chucky in a moment of weakness he landed a right hook across his face, causing Chucky to fall backwards. Luckily Chucky managed to hook his legs around the beam supporting himself.
Cerberus was about to land another kick when he was yanked backward.
"I wouldn't to that if I we're you"
Slappy shoved him off the side of the building watching him fall from a great height. However, Cerberus managed to grab hold of one of the rustic beams of scaffolding, saving himself from doom. Meanwhile Slappy helped hoist Chucky up to safety.
"T--Thanks...argh...f--fuck"
''Woah woah woah easy bro"
"W--we gotta"
"No...not today.....just let him go...you're ass is hurt...."
"......fine"

The Sewers
A Request from @gcatmsg
"Here, don't tell your Ma."
Chucky handed the twins a knife to practice with. It was for them to practice their aim. Chucky handed it to Glen with Glenda on the side grinning.
"Can we go practice!!! Outside! PLEASE!!!"
"Alright, but stay on the sidewalk. And don't go too far, I have to be able to see you ok?"
"Ok!"
"Yes Dad"
The twins grinned and headed out the door. They kept messing with it and passing it to each other. They had stayed on the path and continued on the sidewalk. The two of them kept walking and soon felt raindrops fall.
"Should we start heading home?"
"Nah, we still have some, Plus it's my turn!"
"No, you just had your turn!"
"No, hand it over Glen!"
The two fought for the knife not realizing they trailed off the sidewalk. Suddenly they dropped the knife and it bounced and ran along the mini stream. It ended up falling down into the sewers.
"DANG IT!"
"SHOOT!"
"It's gone"
They were about to leave when they heard giggling. The two turned around and froze. They saw the piercing yellow eyes.
"AHH!"
"What a nice knife, do you want it back"
The two froze dead in their tracks and just stared.
"Take it"
"Glen grab it"
"What! Why me?"
"You're the older brother aren't you"
"NOPE NOT DOING IT"
"I triple dog dare you! DO IT!"
Glen sighed and bent down and reached for the blade.
However, the clown grabbed him and yanked him down into the Sewers. Glenda grabbed her brother by the leg but she lost her grip. He was dragged down by the clown. Suddenly he reached for Glenda but she was out of reach. She ran back home in a dead sprint not looking back.
However back at the Ray home Chucky and Tiffany were sitting on the porch talking to each other.
"I don't know Chucky, what if they get hurt or something"
"Tiff, they're fine. You gotta learn to let the twins breathe once in a while. Let them get out and have fun"
Suddenly Glenda arrived, covered in rain water, tears running down her cheeks and a bright red.
"MOM DAD!!!! IT'S GLEN!!! GLEN!!! HE---HE NEEDS HELP!!"
"WHAT!!!!"
"WHAT!!!!"
Tiffany looked over at her husband with a What did I tell you look on her worried face.
"Glenda, Sweetheart, what happened? Where's your brother"
"T---The Sewer"
Chucky froze and looked at Tiffany.
"Glenda go in the house. Wait there. Me and your Mom are gonna be right back"
"NO!! I'M COMING WITH YOU!"
"Glenda, it's too dangerous!"
"HE'S MY TWIN BROTHER!!! I'M GOING!!!"
The couple sighed but knew their daughter wasn't going to back down. They all went to the entrance to the sewer drain.
Chucky went in first and landed at the bottom. It was a long drop.
"Ok, come down. I'll catch you"
Tiffany hopped down and landed in Chucky's grasp. She was soon followed by Glenda.
The three of them looked around and searched for Glen.
"GLEN!!!"
"GLEN! SWEETIE!!!"
"GLEN!!!!!"
"GLEN!!! GLEN WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!!!"
''GLEN, GLE---AH"
Glenda had fallen tripping over a large rock.
"Glenda! You ok?"
"Ow, yeah, I'm ok"
Chucky helped his daughter up and made sure she was alright.
"Dad? Is your nose bleeding?"
"What? No?"
Chucky rubbed his face, and saw the blood.
He felt another drop of blood fall on his face
"What the?" He looked up and froze.
"Holy Shit"
Tiffany and Glenda both looked up and saw the floating bodies.
(Ima continue this in another fic. Don't worry)
