ADGFSFGJKJJJJJJ OK first of all sorry it took me forever and a day to get back to this, it's been CRAZY and I've got your ask sitting there taunting me reminding me to get back to you but first I'll respond to all this; so:

YAY for Bourne and SAME with Star Trek- I LOVE the new movies (may or may not have even done some cosplay), I've seen the older TV series but don't love them so much. STAR WARS IS A DIFFERENT STORY I'M A GIANT SW HOE so there's that #HanShotFirst... let's see ummm. Oh I want to get into Dr. Who SO bad but like I want to be able to watch it all and from the beginning so I'm like waiting til it's all available to binge in order. Oh but speaking of, SHERLOCK big fan. Several British shows I've loved actually like the IT Crowd is one of my all time favorites and of course the British Office and oh there was this show called Luther with Idris Elba that was interesting but I can't remember what happened to it and I'm getting off track... anyways, yes to X-Men and all things Marvel and I do like DC too I mean Wonder Woman is one of my favorite movies now and I actually really liked Suicide Squad and like I said I loved Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.

I LOVE JJ ABRAMS AND I LOVE KITSIS & HOROWITZ--- LOST?!? ONCE UPON A TIME?!?! ALL TIME FAVORITES!!!!!! You are right about the chaotic periods in their shows lol but I LOVE their storytelling style and SAME SAME SAME. I could talk all day long just about Lost and OUAT. Plus I know that's part of why the new Star Trek and Wars reboots are so damn good, JJ Abrams, we stan. What else... yeah so those and I do find that I've loved a lot of Ridley Scott stuff at least the sci-fi like the Alien franchise (unpopular opinion but Prometheus was SUCH a good movie), the Martian, etc. Oh and Interstellar- another Christopher Nolan! I just watched it again so I just thought of that too. But yeah I also love things by the actors in them too, or if it's part of a franchise I love I'm a total sucker that has to see it lol.

I could go on and on too which I'll probably expand more in answer to your ask too. Oh my gosh so for shows you're watching; I'm also watching Manifest!!!! (Ngl, I was attracted to it because it felt kind of Lost-ish AND has Josh Dallas aka Prince Charming in it so😂) B99 I finally got access to the first season and love it of course but waiting to catch up. YES TO AGENTS OF SHIELD TOO I'M DYING FOR IT TO COME BACK. Same same to the Office and Parks and Rec and Friends of course and yes to Arrested Development!!! It's good although I'll say the new seasons that recently got added I feel like aren't as good. I'll have to remember to list other shows I'm watching in your ask. I've been really into Outlander lately and there's a couple others that are on huge hiatus like Game of Thrones(!!!), Colony and the 100 and iZombie... actually idk if a couple of those got canceled I haven't checked.

HAHA I only just saw your last part about DC after I went on about WW and Suicide Squad... yeah Suicide Squad I'd say too the extended version is better, there is SO much material they had to cut out but there's just such good acting like I love the cast so much that's probably why I like it and the music! The soundtrack is hella good too. I felt like it was a silly fun thing like if not taken seriously it's just this fun like idk crazy fever dream of a bunch of amazing actors in these crazy parts. I adore Margot Robbie and I love her and Will Smith's friendship (omg have you ever seen on YouTube Playground Insults? Theirs is EPIC). And Wonder Woman I TOTALLY UPON FIRST VIEWING WAS LIKE THIS IS SO CAPTAIN AMERICA!; great minds think alike!! But I love it and love it more every time I watch it I catch new little things that I just think they did a really good job with it and Gal Gadot is amazing. So yeah!

Whew okay so there's that, now I gotta think more and answer your ask with even more stuff... as you can see I too could write novels on all of this!!

Ok what other movies or universes are you into? Bond? Bourne? Fast and Furious? DC and if so which versions? Star Trek? Star Wars? Hunger Games? Maze Runner? Divergent? DISNEY? Also are you into like certain writers or directors? Like Inception, I love pretty much all Christopher Nolan films, Ridley Scott too, and JJ Abrams... what else? Oof I just watched one of the newer Nicolas Sparks (the Choice) and bawled so much!! But usually I'm more into Sci fi,action, adventure and superhero stuff!

Okay so! Yes to: Bourne (!!!), Star Trek (the new movies - I’ve only seen a few episodes of the original series), Star Wars (🙌🏻), Hunger Games, and Disney from your list. I’m also a big Doctor Who fan (but I’m like a season and a half behind I think?). And X-Men! But Marvel and Star Wars are for sure my biggest non-musical entertainment interests!

JJ Abrams is a FAVE. I’m also nostalgically attached to Kurtzman/Horowitz/Orci (can’t remember their first names, but they often produce shows together/are attached to the same projects, such as Lost, Once Upon a Time, etc., and they’re responsible for The Proposal, one of my all-time favorite chick flicks! They can be kinda chaotic in that their shows often go through a period of sucking but when they do a good job they give me big heart eyes 😅). I think my all-time favorite directors are the Russo Brothers though! (Also I would say that I pay more attention to who is acting in a movie than who directed it unless it was directed by a favorite of mine)

I’m the same way with usually being into sci-fi and action! There’s quite a list of other, more chick-flick/less action movies that I love (I’m a hopeless romantic!) but I can’t list all them here 😂😂

This got long, but for fun, the shows I’m currently watching that are still running include: The Resident, A Million Little Things, Manifest, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (and Agents of SHIELD, but they’re in a big break right now and I only just finished the latest season this month). I can also be found watching New Girl, The Office, Friends, Parks and Recreation, and I just started Arrested Development (didn’t even know it was a Russo project at the time, but now I have to watch it 😅).

EDIT: re: DC, I’ve only ever seen Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman. The first had potential but wasn’t great, and the second I would compare to the first Captain America movie - I loved it, but it wasn’t like…amazing in my opinion. Like 10/10 would watch again and enjoy but….it fell flat in some parts imo! (I’ve also seen the first few seasons of Gotham and really liked it but it fell by the wayside and I haven’t picked it back up yet.)
