Morning Musume members still say that Hana is always hanging out in their dressing room to the point where she feels like an extra member. At this point I'm pretty sure the only reason why she didn't end up in Morning Musume is because of her last name because Upfront has done their best to avoid putting girls with the same surnames as past members. They should've just given her a stage name with a different kanji of Goto like 五斗 or something.
