I saw this video the other day that was talking about why we should stop telling women that we wanna be their husband, but instead should tell them that we want to die their husband. Saying that you “want to be her husband” insinuates that once you get that title, you are going to stop what you were doing in your initial pursuits to get her love. Saying that you want to “die her husband” means that you will use each and everyday as an opportunity to validate why it is that you are together and to show just how much love and affection that you genuinely have for that individual. The Swan Song

The last song or the final symphony or as the ancient Greeks called it ' The Swan Song ' .

Swans were considered to be the quietest of the birds . They were beautiful , magnificent creatures who stayed shy of sounds most of their lives . Never professing or displaying any of the emotions the other birds usually did . Neither the happy chirping in the evening nor the sad wail at a sudden loss . They remained quiet , gently gliding through the tresses of water as if nothing ever broke them or made them happy.

But it did , all their emotions were hidden behind their impassive exterior . Just when all the living beings believed them to be cold and aloof , too proud of their beauty . Callous and cavalier to both love and hate .

The swan sang it's final song . The most perfect harmony , the most enchanting of the melodies . It sang of all the nature's grandeur and all of it's fury . For all the dusky sunsets and all the picturesque mornings .

The swan sang and the whole world around it stood still. It stood still and kept listening , wondering , mouths agape . This enigmatic creature whom they judged all along , was finally bidding them farewell and not quietly this time . But with the voice of an introvert who just listened all these years . Anyone could produce an incessant chatter , long conversations and unnecessary babble. But Goodbyes , they were hard to forge and that the swan knew . So it sang it's heart out right before dying . Letting the whole world know of how deeply it felt and that was the grandest of the goodbyes .

The swan song thus marks the perfect ending , the one no one ever forgets .
