To be real, I should have known right after the sharper kiss that Gotham knights was gonna get the boot. Giving us gay ships only to immediately rip them away from us is pretty on brand for the CW.

Anyway it doesn’t make it hurt any less. Like look at them. They go on heists together, then nearly make out after talking about their feelings on said heist.

We deserve more of this.

one of the things i love about gotham is how often the showcase what a character thinks or feels and then slowly how the city destroys that. how it breaks them down and makes them question everything.

it happened with jim in 1x03 & 1x06 when he goes from talking about how vigilante's are dangerous and he has to stop them because nothing good can come from it to saying maybe they are the only ones who can fix the city and he needs to step back.

the same with falcone. in 1x01, he said he was still fighting because he loves gotham city and won't let it fall to ruin without a fight and then in 1x12 he questions why he's even still fighting and what the point of it is.
