looking at the individual items in the "goth" pack, i wasn't that impressed, to say the least. not impressed, and not surprised. it was kind of exactly what i was expecting it to be.

They definitely could have gone WAY harder on the goth of it all, it's missing so many key pieces imo. There's not even any egyptian-inspired eye makeup or a single back-combed hairstyle! Also, goth has so many sub-genres, there's so much to choose from! But... putting it all together... and adding some CC... I kinda like it???? I personally am a fan of casual goth, so maybe that's why. There are some nice pieces there, after all. i like the alice cooper running mascara lol.

The wonderful Ly family in Willow Creek was lovingly created for the save by @cowplant-snacks. All other neighbors were made by me, you can meet all of them here! Pets are from Pugowned, misc. townies from @cowplant-snacks and @simsontherope on the gallery.

There's lots of little details and things to explore, both around the world and relationship wise, so I'm excited to see what y'all uncover. Please feel free to @theneighborhoodsave in your posts or tag #theneighborhoodsave. I'd love to see what your sims are up to!

The save is 100% CC free! Please note that I do have all expansions, packs, and kits (except for Castle Estate, Goth Galore + Crystal Creations.) For any items you don't own the game will try to auto find replacements for those items. The file is mostly blank this time around but does include the original EA builds in university and vacation type worlds (sans Granite Falls.)

Included is a folder of completely optional skin details/eyelashes for the neighbor sims. Thank you to @faaeish, @pyxiidis, @tamo-sim, and @landgraabbed! There are 4 pieces of CC I cannot include in the folder due to creator TOU. Please check the included "Read Me" file for more information.

All builds and families are up on the gallery (@sweetbeagaming) + tray files have been shared here.

If you've never used a save file and need help installing it, I highly recommend this tutorial by @leeleebsimming.

⚠️ A couple of disclaimers here due to some existing EA bugs. EDIT 4/25: Included in that link are directions on how to avoid TOOL'd items from disappearing. If you want to keep powerlines and such please check this out! ⚠️

Everything was tested to work around these, but I wanted to put them out there as an FYI.

TOU: Please don't reupload my save/builds/sims, claim as your own, and absolutely do not paywall them. Other than that feel free to build your own Neighborhood stories however you'd like!

Full-Time Retail Career Pack

Hey everyone! As promised, here's my latest creation! (Click on the image to view it in full res.)

This is a pack of TWENTY full-time retail careers, all based on different stores. Each career has 3 levels, custom uniforms, buffs, interactions and more!

I put a huge amount of effort into the descriptions, names etc. and gave it the full-works treatment, which means layoffs, chance cards, Daily Tasks etc. I used 🥀Goth Galore for the Warm Subject (get it?) career uniform, so if you don't have that pack, you can grab the '_noGothGalore' version below.

 The required DLC's are;

Here's a second Simblreen treat for you! The idea of two morally opposed vampire clans is interesting in theory, but as is typical of EA the execution left a lot to be desired. I'll be using these guys in my story eventually, but I thought I'd release my versions now for anyone in immediate need of more hot vampires. (You can never have enough in my opinion.)

They all have one outfit and a dark form.

All CC included, full credit to the creators.

Minimal pack/kit content used (mostly Vampires, Grunge Revival, and Goth Galore).

My defaults if you want them to look exactly the same: skin, eyes, brows, EA eyelashes remover.

Sliders included, but feel free not to use if you don't mind their appearances being slightly different.

Traits and aspirations as assigned by EA.

I kept them grouped into households of three so no individual downloads, sorry!

Dan and Phil own many packs/kits for the sims 4 and it irks me that they still failed to make better outfits. If you don't play the sims a pack essentially adds another world (it's like another state or country in universe) as well as more gameplay interactions. A kit is essentially like adding more items to your wardrobe or builds. Also, if I miss some or got one wrong, I'm sorry I'm doing this based on memory.

Goth Boy

With the announcement of the MySims Cozy bundle for Switch, I got the determination to do something I wanted to do for a while: make sims of some MySims' characters, especially MySims Kingdom, as it was my favorite game growing up. I was able to make a couple of them, and here is the only solo household.

I had to do Goth Boy. I had a crush on him as a kid, lol. Anyway, in the French version, he is named "Hugo Tique", which is a play on the word "gothique", "gothic" in French, so I named him that, even tho it seems his name is Herman in the other version.

I gave him likes and dislikes, skills, sexualities, attraction, but no pronouns, as the French version of the game doesn't let you. You can change anything once you have him download. If you don't have one of the packs I used, just replaced what's missing with something else.

All the cc used is included, even tho I know not every creator likes that, it's just easier for everyone. I try to have all the CCs of the same simmer in one folder, so they are still classed by creators. I use skin and eyes overlays, so I will not include these in the download, but the links are there if you want to try/have them.

Olive Muenda (Specter) & A Super Simple Haunted Residential (NO CC)

I forgot to upload this this morning so I hope there's still people that haven't started the reaper event yet 😭

Anyway it's nothing much, but I felt inspired to make over the maxis Olive & Age her down and play with her for the reaper event. I initially wanted to try and remake her house from sims 2 (except make it actually look normal. EA builds have always been rough LMAO) but since the event was just around the corner I decided to throw something together more in my comfort zone. Consider this an early little simblreen gift. :-) Anyway info:
