By the age of 10 years old was awarded the Youth Conservationist of the Year, not once but twice in a row by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation. He as taken initiative by adopting a river mile and since he started, he has picked up more than SIX THOUSAND POUNDS of trash from the Tennessee River.
