Whoever came up with the idea of swearing in google search results to disable the AI I am kissing you on the mouth
#got so frustrated with next and long tall sally and m&s and amazon and schuh i finally just googled ‘sandals you can actually#fucking walk in’ and the first result was reddit <3#i heavily considered teva but i’ve ended up ordering from passenger clothing. had never heard of them before but their sandals looked like#what i was dreaming of#which was sandals that actually support my feet as i’m walking. that my feet won’t just slide about in randomly#without tons of thin straps that will dig into my feet and are basically just there for aesthetic purposes#i basically want my feet to actually be IN the sandals and not just sort of have material wrapped around them#the amount of sandals i have where the sole just doesn’t stay in place right under my foot or outright doesn’t fit my foot despite being#ostensibly the right size; is absolutely insane to me#just a little practicality is what i was asking for. like.. too many of these sandals are designed for a garden party at which you’re not#going to do much of anything and are going to be sitting down most of the time#and may have someone with you to help if your heel gets stuck in mud at somebody’s outdoor wedding or something#see i’m the type of person who gets laughed at rather than helped if i’m wearing impractical footwear#and i want a pair of summer shoes i can wear to the garden party but also walk to the beach or the shops in#i really was starting to think my options were cute OR functional. and i was also thinking i was going to have to ruin my credit for a pair#of birkenstocks. for some reason i didn’t even think to check the outdoorsy retailers.. i’m a fucking idiot#of course the more fashionable shops would also stock prettier but more stupid shoes#well. this is what google is for. or WAS for before ai took over everything anyway#personal
