Wahoo! I finished my romcom!
The last chapter, Stative Verbs, Present Tense, is up now, and if you like happy endings and gratuitous sex scenes, you’ll enjoy this!
“I couldn’t stop thinking about you either,” he said, and Crowley’s expression opened into something like hope.
One of them must have reached for the other, or perhaps they met half way, Aziraphale wasn’t sure. Crowley’s hands cupped his face and he reached for Crowley’s waist, tugged him closer, until their mouths brushed together. Gently, tentatively even, but still the best thing ever.
A huge shout out again to @summerofspock for the beta reading and encouragement, and to @yamisnuffles for the cover image.
Thank you also to everyone on the GoEvents server, for everything. You are all incredibly delightful.

Never trust a demon in your bookshop
GOROMCOM Name that Author Challenge Prompt: Six weeks after the world doesn't end, Aziraphale shows up at Crowley's door holding a book (500 word limit) “What is the meaning of this?” Aziraphale huffed, pushing the offending volume into Crowley’s chest. “Good afternoon to you as well.” Crowley stepped aside, gesturing with one hand for the angel to enter while the other turned the book over for examination. Ngk. He asked with forced calm, “What would I know about a book?” “I’ve never seen this book before today,” Aziraphale stated firmly. “Must be one of Adam’s bonus books. Fairy tales? Sounds about right.” “Crowley, this book was returned to me today.” Aziraphale said in a clipped voice. “The woman was most irate that I had sold her husband an occult story for their daughter.” “And what does that have to do with me?” Crowley asked, sounding as convincing as a crumb-covered child next to an empty tin of biscuits. “Crowley, I most definitely did not sell this book to her husband. And I don’t know how she knew it was occult, but I can certainly feel the demonic residue. You miracled this book and sold it!” accused Aziraphale. “Don’t know what you’re talking about.” Crowley glanced at his watch and continued, “About time for afternoon tea. I think a table just opened at Claridge's. Shall we?” Aziraphale grabbed Crowley’s hand before he could snap. “Oh, no you don’t! You’ll explain yourself to me right now.” Crowley squirmed uncomfortably under Aziraphale’s gaze. “Alright, angel. A bloke came into the bookshop last week while you were in the back. Since I know how much you love customers, I took care of him. That’s all.” “Since when do you helpfully miracle up books for humans?” Aziraphale refused to let Crowley slither away from the interrogation. “wasforhiskid,” mumbled Crowley. Aziraphale’s look softened. “Try again in English, dear.” “Fine. He came in for a book he could read to his daughter. She’s at Great Ormond Street [1]. Oncology ward. He was in a rush and went to the first bookstore he found on Google maps. I think he was expecting more of a Waterstones.” Crowley laughed at the ridiculousness of confusing Aziraphale’s bookshop with anything so modern. “So rather than send him away empty handed, you produced a book of fairy tales for him, dearest?” Aziraphale waited patiently for Crowley’s response. They both jumped when Crowley’s cell phone chirped. Aziraphale watched Crowley stare at the screen, biting his cheeks. Then his lip wobbled. He passed Aziraphale the phone. -- So sorry about my wife -- She’s devout and doesn’t want Emily exposed to magic stories -- Hope you’re not in trouble with your manager -- Em loved the story – best night of sleep in weeks - TY! -- Best news tho – her scans were completely clear – doc says it’s a miracle!!! IMG_3879 “Oh, Crowley,” whispered Aziraphale. He stepped forward and pulled Crowley close to kiss his slightly damp cheek. “I’m sorry, you dear sweet demon.” “Not sweet. Demon,” grumbled Crowley. “As you say, love. Now what was that about Claridge’s?” [1] Great Ormond Street Hospital https://www.gosh.org/

Summary:
“Since that's all settled, the real question is did he give you his number?” Anathema laughed. “He was looking at you the way you look at lunch.”
“Forget lunch!” Michael declared. “He was looking at you the way you were looking at him!”
Aziraphale is content in his job as an editor at Celestial Publishing, though he could go for a bit less of doing his boss' job for him. But everything goes a bit screwy when the CEO brings in a consultant with plans to build a program that will turn the entire editorial department on its head. If only he wasn't so handsome

This was absolutely adorable! Loved the office banter and loved terrible boss Gabriel! Cute story, highly recommend.

Summary: Aziraphale's sister is getting married, and it's high time he finally showed up with that boyfriend he's always talking about. There's just one problem: they're not real.
Enter: Crowley, an escort with a very specialized skill set. He can be your boyfriend, for a price.
It's a good thing they're only spending a week in the beautiful, idyllic countryside, surrounded by nothing but romantic, walkable pathways for miles and miles. Otherwise what would they do?
Notes: my submission for @goodomensevents and the Rom Com challenge. Chapter one of five. It’s short, but it’s the start of a whole lot more, and I hope everyone enjoys!

Shy San Francisco teenager Azira Fell is shocked when, from out of the blue, he learns the astonishing news that they’re a princex! As heir to the crown of Genovia, Azira begins their disastrous journey toward the throne when their formidable grandmother, The Queen, shows up to give him "princex lessons." Meanwhile, their best friend Anathema’s older sibling, a mechanic and musician named Crowley, has taken an interest in Azira, who is preoccupied to the point of obsession with the popular and handsome Gabriel. Through trials, tribulations, and increasingly stressful encounters with the struggles of being royalty, Azira must take stock of what is truly important to him and learn what it really means to be a princex.
My time has come! I can finally post my first panels for my Good Omens rom-com project, “The Princex Diaries,” for @go-events! I am so excited to be part of this event, and I really hope everyone likes my comic as it develops!

l’esprit de l’escalier - read on AO3
l’esprit de l’escalier: that feeling you get when you leave a conversation and think of all the things you should have said
With his books and his clothes and other curiosities he’d collected since beginning his time in London, Aziraphale considered himself a curator of beautiful things. He found beauty in people too, in the way they moved and spoke and laughed.
This man, who was very nearly past him now, almost gone, shook him. He couldn’t understand why. There was an impulse to reach out, to wrap his blunt fingers around the man’s skinny wrist on his handlebars, say “Hello there, might you have a moment to explore why I’ve fallen in love with you just now?”

On September 15th, at ten-thirty in the morning, a tall man in a dark suit and glasses walked through an opulent revolving door of gold and glass and into the lavishly furnished lobby of Celestial Publishing. He moved through the lavish room in a manner that could be described as something between a saunter and a swagger, exchanged a few terse words with the woman at the security desk, received a badge with the letters V-I-P written in very large and very red letters across the front, and took the elevator to the very tip top of the skyscraper, where only Her office resided.
(She was never referred to by name. It was always Her. Or “the boss.” Usually in a hushed or frantic tone, often accompanied by tears. As the whole company well knew, if you had to invoke Her name, you were in enough trouble already.)
The man wore an easy smile, and the sunglasses he refused to take off even when he was inside made it hard to tell what he was really thinking. But if you were able to get close enough, and knew what to look for, you might see a twitch at the corner of his temple, a tense muscle in his jaw, a line in his shoulders that suggested all was not as well as that blithe smile suggested.
But no one was able to get close enough, and no one knew what to look for.
“Is She in?” he asked Her secretary, who jumped up from his desktop computer like he’d been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and only barely recovered enough to peer up at him superciliously through sharp eyes.
Her secretary was a weasley looking man, with a weasely little conniving mind, and didn’t much appreciate the manner nor means of the interruption in his work. But before he could tell the tall man with the dark suit and glasses that She wasn’t in (she was) and that he had been expected the previous day (he wasn’t), Crowley strutted right through the door and vanished into the room beyond.
“Mr. Crowley,” Her secretary heard Her say. “It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it?”
The door closed, and he could hear no more. He thought about turning on the intercom and listening in, but She’d know. She always knew. (He could press his ear against the door, he’d done that before, but such an indignation was only for particularly interesting meetings, and this situation hadn’t quite earned that merit.) Instead, he huffed and puffed a bit, picked up the phone, and called an office several floors down. It rang twice before a rich American voice picked up the phone.
“Gabriel?”
“Speaking.”
“He’s here.”

The time has finally come!!!
TheKnittingJedi @mllekurtz new exciting project combined with my art!!!
Happiness, more or less
Summary
Renting a flat is all fun and games until you fall in love with the ghost haunting it.
He put aside the keys to the back door, the flat, the basement and the mailbox, and then, with the most promising candidate in one hand and the mug in the other, he opened the door.
His shout was so loud it probably awoke the whole neighbourhood. But the man in front of him on the other side of the door shouted even louder, so the blame was at least to be shared.
“Fucking Christ on a bicycle,” Crowley wheezed, gasping for air. “Who the hell are you?”
