Horus Gorgon

What would happen if you stared into the aperture (or the Basilisk for that matter)?

I want to make a LANCER with this concept but I'm having trouble figuring them out.

My current working idea is that they just start seeing random stuff that's not there (or a second or two Into the future (aka they have super human reaction speed)) and it looks like they're constantly spacing out
