HLVRAI!Gordon Freeman is half-Mexican and is a duel citizen of the USA and Mexico.

His middle name, Martinis, was actually a misspelling/mishearing of Martínez. The person who wrote the name thought his parents had said Martinis and was just like “weird choice but okay” and now he’s stuck with it.

Gordon also knows Spanish very well, having learned from his mother naturally as he grew up. (He’s basically fluent but he’s a bit rusty)
