First horsemanship patterns ✔️ I honestly could not be more proud of Hawk. We haven’t done western things since December and have never practiced western patterns (and I’ve done approximately two before today, on Cody). I planned for w/j, but he was so solid that I decided to do the regular horsemanship too... and he took everything in stride and just did his job the best he could with how green he is. It was 35 degrees, the realfeel was 25, we had a constant 20mph wind, and the ring had standing water. But Hawk was an absolute angel and tried his little heart out.
