You mean it right? Right?

Billy Loomis:

Your inbox is exploding with awful, mean messages. The anon is calling you a slut and a whore and blah blah blah, he's sending long-winded paragraphs about how you should watch what you say online and he's gonna kill you. Why's Billy doing this? Oh because you wrote a fic about eating his ass and how he’d cum in less than a minute untouched and whining. You called him a poor little meow meow and reblogged some vid of a ghost face cosplayer in all pink dancing to an annoying pop song. Billy’s a very eloquent writer when it comes to his lengthy descriptions of how he’s gonna cut you to pieces.

Stu Macher:

Every single post about a generic ghostface, Stu just decides to think that's about him. There's fanart of ghost faces in cat ears, in skirts, in hot pink slutty outfits and he thinks every single one is great. He's obsessed with the fanfare! Stu’s obsessively searching his name, reading all the thirst out loud to anyone who will listen. He read your post about how his dick must be massive and he's tried to DM you a dick pic but tumblr auto-flagged it and now his account is pixelated and marked as nsfw. He also responds to every single ghost face thirst post with a bunch of emojis and it's kinda spammy. U accidentally block him.

Billy Lenz: 

To Billy, the word babygirl is stupid, thinks that all the piggy whores must be incredibly stupid and slutlike to call HIM babygirl. But! He’s very entertained by the fanart, Billy likes all the art that makes him look like a weird little creature. He responds to things here and there, but it's mostly keysmashes and corrupted text. No matter how soft or well-intentioned your posts are, you proceed to get spammy comments from a blank account, things like D̷̫̪͓͚͌̿̔ư̷̬͈̻̠̫͂̈́̒ṁ̴̧̛̭̩̼̌b̴̢̝̘̜̒̈́̏ ̴͎̻̩̓͝w̴̨̮͎̘̘̋̿̎͛̋h̶̪͎̳̗̉̈́̕͜͝o̵̝͔͛̄̏͐̚r̶̢̥̦̺͆̌e̵͔̩̫͂!̶̳̺̖͈̽͒̓̾́  and P̶̡͉͕̳̞͆̎̇̕ḯ̸̡͓̮̬̈̋̍g̴͉̅̎g̶̱̥̀̕y̵̡̝͇͘ ̶̛̖̔̀͂̂s̸̨̈́͂̕l̸̘̈́̈͘͝ǘ̶͚͓͎͆͋̒t̷̥̺͑̾͗!̶̜̹̗̌́ . The text is so corrupted you can’t even tell that he’s insulting you? Thankfully the comments and messages cease in a week or so because Billy drooled so much onto his laptop that the entire thing shorted out.

Bubba Sawyer: 

He’s giggling squealing grunting. Dude sees edits of his face where he’s got pink blush and flowers on his head, he thinks that he looks very pretty!! He’d very much like any of those silly costumes that he’s been drawn wearing. Dress him up, do his makeup! He’ll love it! You made some post about how you think he’s so big and handsome and he’d be so nice to cuddle and his hands are so big compared to yours, Bubba read it over and over and over. Somehow, he accidentally posted a very blurry photo to his blog with a keysmash username and tumblr removed his blog because of gore. This is very distressing for him lol.

Thomas Hewitt: 

After reading approximately (1) post about wanting his juicy fat man tits in your mouth, Thomas is suddenly very aware of the way his body is shaped. He’s been called a big, hulking freak for so long that he never thought at someone would be attracted to the way he looks. Slowly and using his finger to trace the words, he reads a LONG-WINDED thirst post about himself. There's several comments agreeing. Each comment is dirtier than the last. These are words he's never really comprehended before and this is honestly a little overwhelming. Then he reads a post about how you think he’s PRETTY and he’s very babygirl. This out of everything makes his face get hot and he’s done with the internet for now. He’s got a lot to think about.

Freddy Krueger: 

One of your posts was making fun of him for being a dirty old man. You really should’ve kept your mouth shut about that. He’s seen enough on your blog to really put together a grand ol plan on how to really fuck with you in your dreams. The more he stalks your blog, the weirder the posts get. He saw an edit of his glove where instead of blades, it was tipped with long sparkly acrylic nails. You’ve edited his hat to be a pink cowboy hat, you’ve given him hair once? You call him babygirl in every single post and he’s just titteringly excited to see if you’ll SCREAM babygirl when you see him.

Wow! Today was a busy day in the fandom! I feel like Mondays always are, but today feels particularly busy! There's so much going on, and everyone seems to be having such a great time with the new press release photos that were found yesterday!

It's so lovely to see this kind of energy and love being injected back into the fandom. I was mentioning this to a friend recently... that it feels almost like OFMD itself is a giant puzzle that we all have access to, and every time we think we're nearing completion of it, some cool new footage, bts, stills, information, interviews, anything-- shows up and suddenly we have all these new pieces to fit into place.

The puzzle is never really finished, but it gets bigger and more intricate with every discovery, and I absolutely love spinning the pieces around and seeing where they fit with all of you.

Whether you are brand new to the fandom, somewhat seasoned, or an ofmd fandom elder, I hope you know that you bring so much joy to this place! I know sometimes we have our spats between fans, but what family doesn't have those? We have so many talented, brilliant members on this crew, and I love coming back online every day and getting to fit another piece into the puzzle with you.

“I wanna see him again…” You whined into your pillow to muffle your voice. You then heard a distant knock on the window panes, you immediately whipped your head, glancing at it, your wish had come true.

You hurriedly undid the lock of the window, opening it up happily. He hopped inside of your room, arms still crossed, glancing around.

“Miss me?” He chuckled smugly, as if he knew what you were thinking.

“Maybe?” You acted confused, teasing him a little.

“You’re cool, I guess. We can be friends.” He spoke, his voice cold like ice, he extended his hand for a friendly little handshake. The pixelated eyes of his mask flickered a bit.

“Alright. Cool! Friends!” You smiled cheerfully, your heart blooming as you shook his hand. You were practically in euphoria as of now, being friends with a cool vigilante?! That’s awesome! And he’s your type too.

You were lucky he decided to hang out with you for a while, getting to know you and your bedroom. He walked around in your room, like a detective inspecting your belongings. “¿Qué es esto?” He uttered out in Spanish as he looked over at your valuables, his accent fluent and thick.

He hung out in your bedroom for a little while until your parents came home, slipping out from the window like a stealthy cat.

“See you…Uh, I guess I’ll visit in a while.” He chuckled slightly, hovering out of your bedroom, he was swift and accelerated.

“See you!” You exclaimed as you watched him swiftly making his way across your neighbourhood.

You noticed a piece of sticky note on your nightstand, it seemed like one of your playful little sticky notes you had on your desk. You read the note, it seems like your little crush friend left his number personally for you!

You let out a tiny squeal of excitement, unplugging your phone off of it’s charger and typing his number in your phone, adding it to your contacts list. You patiently waited for his text to chime in your notifications.

You washed the dishes, making sure to get them squeaky clean as you did. As you were washing them up, you heard a chime from your phone, you swiftly washed your hands and wiped it with a cloth in the kitchen, then turned on your phone and looking at the lock screen, he finally texted! You were joyful and enthralled. Squealing excitedly like an idiot as you tapped the notification from your lock screen.

“Yo wyd?” He texted, quite curious about what you’re doing at the moment since he left.

“Oh just washing the dishes! :) nthing much, wbu?” You replied back swiftly,joyful that he took the time to message you.

Some bubbles flashed in a message box, he was replying back.

“Está bien. I was wondering if you wanted to meet up, yk just get to know each other since we're friends now.” His message flashed on your screen

Your eyes sparkled with delight and anticipation, a stupid smile plastered on your face. “Yeah sure!! Just tell me when n where :)))” You typed swiftly yet again, sending the message with one click. This was your opportunity to get to know this cool vigilante more!

As you finished washing the dishes, you scurried over to your bedroom, continuing to converse with Miles.

After a while, you texted him a friendly goodnight before plugging in your phone and falling asleep.

(Let's just timeskip to that date- I mean meetup because ik u guys just wanna see that)

“Yo.” He waved at you, you were surprised to see him without his Prowler mask.

“Hey! This place is great.” You grinned happily as you took a look of the café he chose to meet up with you.

“I just found it whilst doing heists with my uncle.” He shrugged dismissively, gesturing you to follow him and enter inside the café.

You saw decorative lights hanging over the walls, and also plants hanging on the ceiling, as well as some wall decor and blackboards hanging on top of the order counter as menus. Very aesthetically pleasing.

“Pretty.” You mumbled, then glanced at Miles. “Wait, which one of us is paying?”

“Eh, I'll do it. Whatchu wanna order?” He asked with a hint of kindness.

“How about you choose for me instead? Guess it'll be fun.” You grinned before taking a seat as Miles waited in line, gazing at the view of the sidewalk and the road as you patiently waited.

Smooth Black Stag Beetle - Lucanus placidus

I've been going through the backlogs of pictures from prior years and there are a few insect orders that need more attention. They will receive that attention after next week's posts. So before that happens, let's have another look at some of the most wonderful Beetles that make their appearance at the edge of summer. I sincerely hope you enjoy another look at these magnificent creatures and their yearly rituals following their emergence. Their smooth form really does seem to make them pleasing to behold. As they dig their way out from underground in their adult forms, they suddenly find themselves in grassy lawns, on sidewalks, at the bases of trees and within gardens. A majority of the individuals here are male as indicated by their jaw size in widely-opened posture (there's wiggle room for determination of the individual at Picture 9's top left). As such, they're quite eager to start fights with rivals in order to prove their strength and stamina.

Likely many can emerge from one area (as seen in Picture 9) and begin the jaw-fighting competitions to secure mates. They could also fly to a new location if a scent cue were to draw the attention of a hopeful male. When they battle, the Beetles' armor will protect them from any serious damage when engaged with a challenger (insectivores will have strategies around their defenses of course, making these competitions risky in the open). That armor itself is also a challenge itself, as the Stag Beetle must find a way to grip around it, and thusly lift and toss their rival in defeat. For a grounded fight this feat is already tricky, but sometimes these Beetles can take their fights to tree bases and spar while hanging off a vertical surface of bark. Being tossed means a quick trip to the ground, but insect shells are designed to withstand gravity. Defeat may sting, but a Beetle must remain steady while they walk and fly about beneath springtime's sun. Should you get the opportunity to watch Beetle emergence and the results fight, sit and watch.

Tutorial: Netflix screencaps

So as promised a tutorial for Netflix screencapturing both video and images. Just in case a disclaimer: I do not posses of Blue eye samurai idea, plot, scenario, animation nor anything. I simply make pictures for fangirling. I do not sell it to anybody nor making a pirate content. If you want to watch this amazing show get Netflix subscription, ok?

Now let's start the tutorial :)

First to make it able capturing screen on Netflix you have to disable hardware acceleration in your browser. Go to settings -> system. There you can find this setting. Any chromium browser has this setting. You can find those in Google Chrome, Arc, Brave and etc. In my case it's Arc browser.

2. Disable the acceleration and relaunch browser

3. After relaunching go to Netflix and capture a wanted scene. For screenshots I use macbook shortcut cmd+shift+3 and cmd+shift+5 for video capturing. Be aware that without graphics acceleration your machine will hit up significantly, so be careful. Also while capturing the screen you could find the picture became more pixelized. In both cases switch acceleration on again, relaunch your browser, then enter settings and disable it again to continue the process.

4. Now when we've got a video fragment it should be edited. I use IMovie. Just drug'n'drop a video fragment and edit as you like

5. After editing is finished export the file by clicking on an export icon in the top right and save an .pm4 file

6. Now we want to make a gif out of our .mp4 file. I do that through Keynote which looks like some kind of perversion for me tbh but i just find it faster for me. You could use any other tool If you prefer. Now launch Keynote, create a new project with simple white page. Then delete all the text from the slide

7. Now drug'n'drop into the slide an mp4 video fragment you edited

8. The last thing - export it as gif through File -> Export To -> Animated GIF. And that's all basically.
