about me ā people iād like to know better.
LAST SONG. Online - TWRP Feat. Tom Cardy & Montaigne. Iāve been a fan of TWRP for a number of years now, as well as loving Tom Cardyās chaotic energy from when I used to watch his Tiktoks (Iāve since deleted the app as it was a huge time-waster for me), so when I heard that they had collabed for a song I knew itād be a banger. Iāve had it on repeat since it was released.
FAVORITE COLOR. I really love dark greens, burgundy and warm, autumnal yellows. My bestie also gifted me an Oracle deck for my birthday and I adore the similar colours/ wintry forest palette that it has. I think itās been a big inspiration, even if the cards keep calling me out!
CURRENTLY READING. Iāve been slowly plodding my way through The Way of Kings Ā by Brandon Sanderson; Iām enjoying it but just have not had the spoons/ attention span to dedicate to reading. I tend to gravitate towards audiobooks nowadays, which I listen to when Iām driving.
The most recent books Iāve finished have been audiobooks during my commutes- Iām Glad My Mom Died by Jeanette McCurdy, and Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism by Amanda Montell.
CURRENTLY WATCHING. Iām watching more YouTube at the moment than serialized shows. One of my favourite YouTube channels, Lore Dump, has started a series on the Yakuza games and Iām really enjoying the chaotic energy that Chase brings to the host seat.Ā
The idea behind the channel is that one of the three hosts does a full plot recap of a game franchise that the other two have not played or arenāt familiar with. Theyāre long form videos that you can treat like podcasts or put on in the background (I use them for my commute to/ from work), and theyāve covered series like Bioshock, Metal Gear, Red Dead Redemption and Batman. They also did a 12 video series on Kingdom Hearts that is just under 30 hours long, which I highly recommend if youāre into long haul deep dives!
I love it because the hosts clearly love the series theyāre talking about dearly, and hearing the others gradually getting swept up in the excitement of the narratives is really entertaining.
SWEET, SAVORY, OR SPICY? Iām a sucker for savoury foods, but I do get the occasional craving for sweet foods. Sadly I canāt tolerate spicy foods like I used to :<
RELATIONSHIP STATUS. Happily married for the past eight (nearly nine) years! My partner and I married young, and itās hard to believe itās been so long already. I adore him so much and itās been a joy to grow alongside him.
LAST THING YOU GOOGLED. āDo they make scuba suits for dogsā.Ā This was for our modern day TTRPG game, using the āEveryday Heroesā module for D&D 5e.Ā
The game is set in Australia in the 2070s after a catastrophic rise in sea levels, and because weāre playing in our home state, weāve been able to use google maps and a lot of real-world resources in the game which has been super fun. Weāve even made an interactive map to keep track of important locations.
In our last session, we found information that points to us needing to go to locations under the new sealine and joked about taking our rangersā sniffer dog along on the dive.
The answer we got is yes, there absolutely are diving suits for dogs.
CURRENT OBSESSION. Iāve been getting back into playing mobile games in my downtime! A few long-time favourites of mine are below- bear in mind that Iām on Android so these may not be available on iOS if you want to check them out.
The main one Iāve been playing is called Luna Story; itās the first in a series of 3 apps that are nonogram-based games. Using a grid and a sequence of numbers, you fill in the grid to create pictures. Iāve had Luna Story installed on my phone for years and have been sporadically playing it, but Iāve recently dived into it again and am playing it before bed, on my lunch break and even when I wake up some mornings. The grid sizes range from beginner (5x5) to advanced (20 x 20) and uses super cute pixel art.
The other is called My Oasis, which is an idle clicker game where you progressively grow an island with animals. Itās got lots of positive little messages in it, like the abilities to buff your clicking being called virtues- like ācompassionā, āselflessnessā, etc. The animals Iāve chosen for my island are all favourites of the people I love- a fox for my little sister, a red panda for my husband, giraffe for my mum- even a racoon for myself. The animals can speak via bubbles with encouraging messages, and sing to you- you can sing back to them with a little keyboard at the bottom of the screen. Super cute, if a little clunky at times.

We see many options, from SIM-only and prepaid to contract plans. Knowing these choices helps us find a top mobile network that suits our needs, whether it's for lots of calls and texts or big data use.We look for plans that give great value and quality service. For example, a *cheapest plan* could start at $10 for 15GB of data, plus an extra 25GB from Vodafone. 3. How to check my phone supports esim and is carrier-unlocked
Itās not difficult to figure out whether your phone is carrier-unlocked and supports eSIM or not, as all are shown in your phoneās settings. While your phoneās unlock status is well indicated through the SIM restriction/Network section, your phoneās eSIM capacity is well displayed via your phoneās IME (International Mobile Equipment Identity).
In the section below, we will guide you to check the unlock status and eSIM-capacity of your iOS and Android phones.
3.1 How to check if my iOS device is eSIM compatible and carrier unlocked?
In order to determine whether your iOS device is carrier unlocked and eSIM compatible or not, you will need to:
Check its unlock by
going toĀ Settings>Ā General>Ā About.
scrolling down to view the āCarrier lockā section.
It should say āNO SIM restrictionsā, which means that the device is unlocked.
And then check its eSIM capacity by scrolling down to view the āAVAILABLE SIMā (iOS 15 and newer) or āDIGITAL SIMā(older iOS versions) section. It should contain anĀ IMEIĀ under AVAILABLE SIM or DIGITAL SIM, which means that the device is eSIM compatible.
3.2 How to check if my Android phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked?
In order to confirm that your Android device is carrier unlocked and supports eSIM, you will need to check its unlock status first and then find the āeSIM IMEIā number. Please follow the steps below:
For Samsung devices
Check its unlock status by:
Going toĀ SettingsĀ >Ā ConnectionsĀ (orĀ Network & Internet, or other variations depending on brand and model)
SelectingĀ Mobile networkĀ (orĀ Cellular network, or other variation depending on brand and model)
TappingĀ AdvancedĀ (if needed) and selectingĀ Choose NetworkĀ (orĀ Automatically select network, or another variant to open the list of carriers).
If several carriers appear, the chances are that your phone is unlocked and just needs the appropriate SIM card. For further confirmation, continue to the step below.
Removing the old SIM card from your phone and insert the newly activated one from the other carrier. Trying using mobile data to browse the internet but ensuring that Wi-Fi is disabled.
>> If you successfully browsed the internet, your phone is definitely unlocked.
Now, check your phoneās eSIM-compatibility by:
Going toĀ Settings
If in Settings you see a search bar, typing in āIMEIā, and the option āIMEI informationā (or similar) should show up (otherwise, you will need to go to About phone> Status).
Tap āIMEI informationā
If the āIMEI (eSIM)ā is available, it should mean that your device supports eSIM.
Other Android devices
Check the unlock status in the same way as you do with the Samsung phones
Then, dial *#06# to check the eSIM capacity.
In case your device is eSIM-compatible, you should be able to view your deviceās eSIM unique identification number (EID)
4. FAQs
How to check if my phone is carrier unlocked?
To check your phoneās unlock status, you can do as guided above. Alternatively, you can power down your phone, place a new SIM card (for your new carrier) into the SIM tray on the side of the iPhone, then power the device back on, and make a call to see itās carrier-unlocked or not. If youāre unsure about your device being locked or unlocked, you can contact your cellular provider about the status of your mobile phone. If, for example, you are still paying off your phone through a mobile contract, it is likely that your phone is locked.
How do I know if my Samsung S20/21 is FE or not?
What should I do if my phone is not compatible with eSIM? How can I connect to the internet on my travel to Vietnam?
If your phone does not support eSIM technology, you can buy a physical Vietnam SIM Card at Vietnam airport upon arrival or within the country when you are there.
