Favorite homemade food? Why do you like it? Could you share the recipe?

My dad used to make shredded barbeque chicken and rice! It was the one meal I absolutely loved and still have fond memories of from when I lived with my parents. My dad used to add LOTS of bbq sauce and it was the only way I'd eat rice for a long time.

I WISH I knew the recipe... unfortunately I was not given a written recipe and my grandma doesn't remember what my dad told her. I know it was white rice, thinly shredded chicken, and some kind of bbq sauce. But I don't know any amounts nor what kind of sauce he used :/

I'll just have to experiment!
