Oh about that! Gojo wasn't actually told to be a womanizer, it was this huge line of miscommunication. Akutami said that Gojo wouldn't open up to a woman when asked if Gojo would date. Then there was a line about how Gojo wore glasses to meet Riko, specifically to make a goodimpression. There was also like him not wearing his blindfolds when meeting non-sorcerers and opting for glasses. Somehow all of this together made people conclude Gojo's a womanizer. Gojo canonically and as per Akutami, is not. He's actually emotionally closed off as heck in the dating arena and Yuta literally mocks Gojo for never dating.

Geto IS more popular though, that's canon.
