St. Paul AME Church in New Orleans ended a magnificent Holy Week revival on Good Friday with a magnificent "Seven Last Sayings of Christ" worship celebration. Good Friday marks a day of transition in the history of Christianity. Under a theology of atonement, it's a day where the Lamb of God, the preacher from Galilee known as Jesus of Nazareth, literally washed away the sins of the world through his unmerited suffering on Calvary's Cross. On the third day, Resurrection Sunday, Jesus defeated death itself so that all who believe can celebrate the precious gift of everlasting life. Thank You, Jesus, for paying a price that was too high for me! Thanks for loving me sooooo much that you gave me a gift for which I couldn't afford to pay. The Rev. Jonathan C. Those pictures were taken on our way home from Abong-Abong. Haha. Well, Nakayanan ko lang namang maglakad from Lunzuran to AbongAbong. :D Penintensya na din para sa lahat ng nagawa ko. Haha. And pa-thank you rin kay Lord para sa lahat ng natanggap kong biyaya na medyo marami-rami na din. =)) And syempre ang pinakamalaking bagay na nagawa Niya ay ang pagsacrifice Niya for us, to save us from our sins. Kay Papa Jesus na nagpapako sa krus for us and kay Papa God para sa pagsacrifice Niya sa sarili Niyang anak for us. :) Oh haa, Maliit na bagay lang kung iisipin ang ginawa ko compared sa ginawa Niya for me pero its the thought that counts. =))
