Today is my last day of winter break as a senior student in high school, I'm not ready to go back to school and working myself till I drop dead but aye one more semester to go and I will graduate I can do this. I need to stay away from my awful friend stress/anxiety and enjoy my last year as a high school student. I hope everyone had a great winter break with their loved ones and now it's back to work. My Christmas consisted of trying to get my children to cooperate with me so I could take a family picture, arguing with my sister that I had the flannel first, and getting the right angle for a family photo. (We used the cat tree) 😉 I had a good Christmas. 나이지리아 엔지니어 10인의 공항철도 탑승기

    “공항철도를 타는 것은 신나고 즐거운 경험”

   머나먼 아프리카의 나이지리아에서 온 10명의 청춘 남녀 엔지니어들. 

  이들은 나이지리아에서 대학 교육을 받고 현지의 발전 전문회사인 NG POWER에 입사한 20대 중반의 꿈많은 청년들이다.

현재 한국플랜트서비스(HPS)의 주관으로 남부발전(KOSPO) 신인천발전소에서 4주간의 빡빡한 일정으로 기술 연수를 받고 있다.

    이들은 지난 토요일(8/24) 모처럼만에 서울 나들이에 나섰다.

  인천공항부근에 있는 호텔에서 가까운 인천공항역으로 이동한 이들은 논스톱 직통열차를 타고 서울역으로 향했다.

    8월 24일 오전 10시30분~!

  생전 처음 공항철도를 이용한 10명의 나이지리아 엔지니어가 작성한 탑승 소감을 원문 그대로 옮겨 본다.

  “Allured by the Incheon international airport interiors, the ice-link brings to mind goodChristmas’ memories ;

our passage through to the train station was smooth and fast.

With 10:30am departure time, we were set for a tour of a life time.

From Seoul station to Seoul tower, there are resonating memories of the Seoul city :

  the beautiful streets dotted with high-rising buildings, the cable car ride, traditional Korean costume, the Seoul’s bird-eye view…

  it was indeed a trip to remember.

  Koreans friendliness, ingenuity, resourcefulness, organization and timeliness are commendable.

  In summary, everything about the trip was smooth, efficient and memorable… A great first time it was… “

  인천국제공항 실내 장식에 매료된 나에게 사계절 아이스링크가 좋은 크리스마스를 떠오르게 했습니다.

공항철도 인천공항역으로의 통행은 매끄럽고 빨랐습니다. 오전 10시30분 출발시간에 우리는 평생 한번 할 여행에 나섰습니다.

서울역에서 남산 서울 타워까지 떠오르는 기억들이 있습니다.

고층 빌딩으로 점철된 아름다운 거리들, 케이블카 타기, 전통 한복 입기, 서울의 조감도 등 정말로 기억될 만한 여행이었습니다.

한국인들의 친근함, 독창성, 넉넉함, 넘치는 지략, 조직과 시기 적절함은 칭찬 할 만합니다.

결론적으로 이번 여행의 모든 것이 순조로웠고, 효율적이었으며 기억에 남을 만했습니다. 위대한 첫번째 체험이었습니다.

그는 말한다. 공항철도 직통열차에서 보낸 시간은 좋았다고~ 기차 여행이 너무나 재미있어서 종착역에 도착하고 싶지 않을 정도였다고~

“I had a nice time. I wan’t looking forward to reaching my destination because how fun-filled the train trip was.” 

더불어 그는 한가지 건의 사항을 말했다. 객실 내 설치 된 영상이 한국말로만 나와 아쉬웠다며 영어로도 해주기를 바란다고 말이다.

직통열차를 타고 서울 나들이에 나선 나이지리아 엔지니어 10인의 얼굴에는 행복감이 가득했다.

한국을 방문하는 외국인들이 매년 증가하고 있는 요즘~!

그들이 한국에서 처음으로 마주하는 열차인 공항철도가 그들에게 행복감을 주며 기쁨을 주고 있다는 사실에 어깨가 저절로 으쓱해진다.
