oikawa tooru next to him by the window. he wants the seat cuz he wants to look outside as they’re driving he dreams of a dramatic movie moment gazing out the window as it rains and wistful music plays in the background but he can’t just sit there for longer than a minute nono nonooo he’s a busy man. he spends maybe 1/4 of the ride looking out the window/checking his social media/maintaining his composure and the rest of the time he’s head over the back/front of the seat or laying across hajime (or stealing one of his earbuds) to join a conversation across the aisle. he Insists on window seat but just Has to interact with people throughout the entire bus he makes his inconvenient location everyone else’s problem it’s kinda great. announcement for the team he kneels on his seat bc standing is a little too unsafe he projects his voice a little louder than necessary tells everyone to drink water Right Now or everyone runs extra laps at practice tmr. getting off the bus before a game he closes his eyes takes 3 deep breaths makes sure he’s the last one off the bus no one is left behind he’s so ready.

hanamaki takahiro back of the bus next to issei usually aisle seat they mix it up sometimes but always back row. he can’t stay in a single position also tall mf his legs don’t fit in the seats catch him pretzel twisting. his default state is feet up on the back of the seat in front of him like slumped down feet planted knees at acute angles. when he’s in his own seat he also hits the feet propped up on the armrest of the seat across the aisle sometimes he’s criss cross sometimes his legs are on issei’s lap sometimes he manspreads or straight out legs crossed tripping people in the aisle he just can’t sit right. he stays in his seat for the Most part but also bounces around just generally causing trouble he often sings too loudly and finds ways to put shit in tooru’s hair. his earbuds are tangled in his bag if he wants to listen to music he steals issei’s or plays music out loud like hood on resting bitch face slouched in his seat phone balanced on his thigh paramore on aux. his name is signed somewhere on every single seat on the bus plus some other places good luck finding them all.

matsukawa issei perpetually next to takahiro. often window seat but that’s on hiro’s whim issei sits wherever hanamaki doesn’t. he spends a lot of time looking out the window spacing out he will give his opinion in bus-wide discussions or color commentate conversations going on around him (much to hiro’s enjoyment). he blinks lethargically when tooru’s head Appears over the seat to look down at him they chat for a while they’re discussing tomogatchi until hanamaki starts kicking the seat and oikawa complains and iwaizumi starts yelling. on really long trips issei will forgo the seat and sleep on the floor generally at least half of his body is in the aisle when circumstances become dire he uses his shoes as a pillow (socks stay on tgif). headphones always on his person always playing music not always in his ears he leans his head against the window bsbbshdnemmwlelfoejehnemmmrrpppp sits up breathes on the glass draws a penis. he is a simple man.

Year of the mouse

This is another ml fic. Actually I am posting this as my 3rd fic today because I am not totally sure this counts as a fic because there is no major storyline. It’s just ideas that spout out of my head and I didn’t want to delete it. Oh well, happy early Chinese New Year. Tmr I will post a fic definitely inspired by the animal. With luck, I can get inspiration for an ML CNY fic with an actual plot line!

Here’s an idea: because the start of every Chinese New Year gives the current zodiac animal kwami a boost in power, Mullo is free.

For the entirety of the Chinese New Year, Mullo is active even without the mouse miraculous being worn.

What does Mullo do? Help the new master, of course.

At first, Mullo thinks to multiply herself to help Marinette make clothes, like Cinderella’s mice. But Marinette points out mice can’t be seen in her home, considering the family business. (Which really makes me wonder how Rolland gets away with it.)

So Mullo decides to give Marinette a small blessing for every day of Chinese New Year!

1. Marinette finds a lot of brand new, high quality clothes she admires, on sale! She gets a good deal off some of them. Normally she would make them herself but in this case, buying the clothes is cheaper than the materials.

2. An abundance of baking ingredients (ok...how is this small, Mullo?)

3. Camembert accidentally dropped by Adrien into Marinette’s school bag. (This is a blessing for Mullo and a curse for Plagg) Marinette and her family enjoy a nice evening tea of baguettes and baked Camembert. Meanwhile, Sabine almost swears she could hear a cat wailing in anguish. (Plagg kept whining and moaning in Adrien’s ear all day.)

4. Rose tries her hand at baking and gives everyone in class pink meringues.

5. Adrien gives Marinette expensive fabric that his dad doesn’t need anymore.

6. When Lila starts bragging about how she spends her Chinese New Year during her stay in China, she loses her voice.

7. Once her classmates learn about ang pow and remember how Marinette organised fundraisers and provides the food for bake sales for free, most of the class gives Marinette red packets.

8. Jagged and Penny arrive to learn about this festival from his favorite designer.

9. Marinette’s great uncle arrives to celebrate this festival with her family

10. Marinette is paired with Adrien for a long-term project.

11. Kagami and Marinette spend time eating mandarin oranges.

12. When Chloe insults Chinese culture (again), she breaks her manicure.

13. Sports class is cancelled so it is a free period

14. Chat Noir and Ladybug get to share a sunset eating pineapple cookies courtesy of Gina who is currently in Singapore

15. There is a mini kwami party held on Marinette’s balcony. Mullo returns to the Miraculous box party drunk.

17/8/19 Mini fanmeet with Chris for Check2Check (his pocket shirts)

Truth be told I didn’t wanna go today?!!! I literally was just stepping off consecutive flights at 12noon in Taipei and although I was supposed to go chase after a Chris for this, I swear I was half thinking to just sit at some cafe and then do some shopping while my friend chased him instead (our original plan was to just head straight to Taichung for tmr’s fanmeet and walk around there, then news of this Check2Check meet came and.... sighs) - so anyway, the whole gist of this event is:

As you all know Chris is basically being sponsored by the brand and also basically promoting ‘his’ line of pocket shirts on the website, so for promotional activity - Check2Check decided to have Chris turn up at 3 different locations in Taipei for about 5-10 min at each stop. If you order the shirts, every 2 shirts u order comes with a photocard and then u take this photocard and go to all three locations and take a photo of the card with Chris in the background basically - the reward is that Chris will pick a few of these photos and their owners to win a signed tote bag by him.

Organisation of the event was pretty good?! The staff were all super friendly and good-looking LOLOL and at every stop there was a group selfie with Chris and a live stream and he stopped for everyone to take photos and you could talk to him by yelling what u wanted to say at him but we were all pretty civil and polite WHICH WAS NICE!!! And then Chris gave out roses and signed photo cards and he’s such a cutie and he said that he was afraid that no one would actually turn up for the event HAHAHAHA but I think the crowd was just nice!!! Any more people and it would’ve been impossible to get photos

Talked to the staff also - one of the ladies and guys were super friendly and asked us where we were from, and just as we were about to chat more other fans thought they were gathering to make the announcement that Chris was gonna arrive soon so that fell through sighs I really liked the 2 staff!!! Super friendly and nice omggggg and she also confirmed that there will be a Japan fanmeet so I think they’re gonna officially announce that tmr

This is seriously way better than any fanmeet I’ve been to and I’ve been to two because I mean - we got SO CLOSE TODAY!!! He was literally just standing there omg like 2 arms length away from me while I’m seated in row 11 tomorrow, and he came really close!!!! And this made this trip super worth it!!

Trying to get over Trapped but it’s still pretty hard to do that when Chris and Jake and Andy and Kenny are being sweethearts like that - Still feel like I don’t have the fan luck BUT I AM SATISFIED!!!

The guy who plays Andy is turning up for the meet and YAY NEW HAND TO HI FIVE?!!! Pretty busy past 2 wks. Sis date, and met SSC to celebrate Jan & Feb babies b'day over d wkemd. I'm grateful my bf did not gave me mixed signal like my friend's encounter. Enough of guessing games.

My dept had to wfh cos 1 of our colleague was tested positive. Now we r back to split team from Feb. I should be grateful right, since I get to sleep more. But I need to cook my lunch. I'm so lazy leh.

Finally tried to use taobao to make purchase to test if I receive my items. Since pple had been saying it helps save quite a lot if buy furniture from there. And so yesterday was riding test. After having signed up for lessons more than a year ago.

Reporting was at 7.50 in the morning and I was heartened to see that T had dropped by to give his support. As I made my way into the room at close to 7.40, the room which I used to feel petrified in before the start of lessons, I was told to sit on any seat, amongst others. Looking at the instructors, I felt a sense of familiarity and could almost feel that they were rooting for me just by their affirmative looks. We were told to line up and find our names on the attendance sheet. Eager to find my name fast, I didn’t quite catch the instructions to hand over the registration paper. They thought I was nervous but at that point I don’t think I really was. I was tag number 10 ON TEST and coincidentally, my locker number was 12. Favourite number combo, a good start I thought to myself. And so the were seated according to our number tags which were based on our age. There were 50 of us and as I scanned across the room, a substantial amount were young Malays. Seated on the second row, the first 10 of us, 6 were actually females! I wondered what their reasons to learn how to ride were. Personal improvement for me? To own a bike? To learn a new skill? Go pillion their families? Work? We had a warm up season and was told to gather in the room at 8.25 and later given time to rest till 8.45am. The first two rows were all seated before 8.45am, and I couldn’t help wonder if age has anything to do with punctuality, readiness or anything for that matter. Sitting in the room, I thought to myself about really, what is that I need to do that will make me pass the test, amongst the 49 others. I thought about how if everyone is just a testee in the testers eyes, what is it that they are looking out for? I figured it was the mere impression of knowing what you are doing and showing it through your actions. I had known what I had to do (theoretically at least), I secretly felt like I could have given the very detailed and helpful briefing conducted by the instructor after the warm up. I guess after having the realization that knowing, and the ability to show what you know makes one slightly less afraid. It’s the uncertainty of things that makes fear fearful. And in some ways I rmb what K used to say, to have knowledge. That’s important. Having knowledge reduces a part of uncertainty, a part of fear. Of cos some of it is also luck, which of cos is not something we have direct control over. And so it was my turn. ‘Tag 9, 10 get ready’. Pushed the bike (number 66) out to the start line and before I knew it I was signaled to move on. And again I learnt that even though you’re told to do smth, it’s still impt to do your due checks and not just follow blindly (good tip the instructor gave). I went thru the courses and felt pretty good about it, except the e brake, when I thought I actually did not meet the speed requirement and had pulled the clutch in too early. And then it was the road, hesitated and was given two points for delay in moving off at the u turn. I would think the improper checking of blind spot was at the left turn near the church? And then I was back into the circuit. While waiting at the main area, and texting Chrissy about the insecurities at the circuit (our favourite common topic), the downplaying of hopes, she suddenly appeared next to me!!! Was extremely touched that she came down and it made me feel really really heartened. After having confided in her about K awhile ago, I feel like we have gotten much closer and I’m so happy this bike journey had been with her. As we waited, I asked how she survived the agonizing wait before the test result was released, which was after all 50 testees finish the test. And she replied, I didn’t, part of me died. What you see is what’s left. Love her wit and her sense of humor. The instructors came around and we chatted and I headed up for the test results. Mushroom head man came and didn’t not call my number (smth he told me he had not wanted to the day before my test as it would mean that I would have failed). I was half in shock but also agonizing over it becos I thought I was in the same group as the girl who apparently went off course. And then there was more waiting. And so those who stayed in the room passed :) I was elated and started texting the ppl who knew I was taking the test today. At 1.20pm there was the expressway familiarization round and omg I have to remember the exhilarating experience of the wind blowing at my face, being in control of a motorbicycle along the KJE expressway, went past Safti, Jalan Behar, Tung Lok seafood place, SPCA, farm way and traveling at 60-70km/h at the expressway alone, on a motorbike is something that I know I had never imagined myself to be doing. There was a part that seemed pretty rustic, and I rmb the feeling of riding on the uneven pavements, up the gentle slope and stopping next to the Farm way place. At the expressway, clenching the throttle and gripping the tank, feeling the vehicle under me, riding alongside big trucks and cars, there was the excitement which really made me appreciate the very moment of being and made me feel really grateful for life, as it is. Met Val after that and talked about being present in the day, how today will be tomorrow’s yesterday and worrying about tmr will not change what you have today. How you’re in control today but not for tmr or for yesterday and how really, we should make the best of the day. Glad that she’s back even though it’s just for a few days. Missed being able to tell her stuff and daily happenings face to face. Headed home for a quick shower and met S impromptu-ly. Some things don’t change and I was reminded again how it’s impt not to cast your beliefs or opinions on others because even as you are darn sure, you will never know how the other person feels and thinks because you are not him/her. I had felt slightly annoyed because S hadn’t believed what I said about my feelings and thoughts about K, and he based it on his own experience, which I felt hadn’t been fair for me. To listen and not doubt ppl’s feelings, that’s impt and that’s what I would like my friends to do for me and of cos for me to do unto others too. Nevertheless, it was a good, perfect even day. One I’m really thankful for. One I know did not come by easy and one that has made me feel so loved from the support from friends and of cos from my ever supportive mom. It was also good becos texting wedding guy had brought some sort of excitement and it’s been pretty enjoyable :)
