Soo!! Before ill start abt her ill give some context: there are 3 clans (daybreakclan, burnclan and hillclan) and there used to be a caveclan but i didnt like it and kicked it out of the story. daybreak lives on open fields burnclan in the forest and hillclan somwhere at lower part of the moutatins. Also starclan looks lil diff from canon books and i have alot of lore abt them but currently in sotry: ghost cant enter either starclan or darkforest cuz lore shenanigans. tho clan cats dont rlly know also there is some comunication in starclan its just hard and all that. also grayfur has some ambiguous curse that i dunno what rlly does other than kinda fuck w her ghost seeing powers < there are those bdw. also like this story is called hidden roots and there is lots ocs.

Ok now grayfur. Shes born in Burnclan to Cindertail and Featherwind, alongside two other kits: silverkit and darkkit. She doesnt remember much of her father as he died around when she was like rlly young so yeah. Also shes very huge for a kit (her genes hehe. her great great grandad or something like this was maine coon. and there r lots of big cats in her family). when she was a kit something was seemingly off about her - her expressions were wierd sometimes dull sometimes inapropriate to the situation. She was also quite violent, seemingly not understanding where to exactly stop a fight and that u shoudlnt fight to death in silly kit playfight. Also she had many silly wierd behaviours and all that and didnt rlly care much about other kits including her brothers. Only like more positive connection was (and this is unclear but i think he still was medicine cat apprentice tho he already had full name) with Rosethorn, who seemingly was only cat that more or less got her. < i totally didnt autism code her haha what?? nahh i could never!! dies She also had quite wierd reactions to dead cats. She wasnt upset she just was kinda fascinated by dead bodies and that never really went fully away, There was alot of drama between silverstar and croweyes abt who will be her mentor, as silver was sometimes careles with feelings and focused more on physical aspects of training. At six moons old, she got assigned Blazetail, who was known for her short temper and eegernes to fight. Kinda bad combination.She didnt like other apprentices. There was this silly group consisting of rustpaw snowpaw and coalpaw that bullied her and while she wasnt scared emotionally and wasnt scared of them at all, they got on her nerves alot. Her training was… intense. Blazetail put aloot of preassure on graypaw, being violent at trainings and similary to graypaw, not much self control in fight. It would seem that graypaw would hate that part of the training, but honestly she liked it that there was another cat who fought till no longer being able to stand. She would often also scold graypaw and push her to her limits and over, many traning sessions ending up with long stays at medidine cat den and rosethron was really concerned about that. Her breaking point was soon to be seen and it wasnt gonna be pretty. Graypaw, who had her all violent inpulses only worsened, annoyed especially with coalpaw and having that wierd fascination - she decided on something. At first, she was just supposed to kill him but then something woke up in her… Half eaten body was buried underground after succesful hunt. No one suspected that it was her - because sure she had all those wierd things but from the outside she seemed like quiet cat and she indeed didnt spoke alot. But she did that.
