yayy more questions! okay i'll start with 13 because it's simpler:

13.Any segment of your work that made you cry while writing it? (because it moved you deeply)

so. i cry easily. but i don't tend to cry while writing, i think? i don't have the greatest memory, so i can't be sure. i remember one time i cried while writing hmtb, but it wasn't because i was moved deeply jcnbjk (it was actually a mellow scene and i just. unexpectedly triggered an unpleasant memory, oops.)

in a way, i think it's easier to get emotional while working on RPs, actually. i might've cried at those in the past, mmh.

now, if you asked me when did i get anxious while writing. that's a whole another thing. i do deal with a lot of heavy emotions in writing, and, yeah. anyway, the answer is yesterday. (hmtb grian is doing perfectly well wdym-) (i had to stop writing after 8 sentences and take a break everything's fine-)

12.Funniest comment you've ever gotten in a piece of work?

this is a fun one! i don't think i have a favourite, i'm not the best with putting things on a scale and deciding that's the most this or that. add my bad memory into the mix, and about a year of writing a multichapter fic, and- well. but! i dug through and made a small collection of comments that amuse me! (there were many more, but i'm trying not to swarm you completely.)

i cannot tell you how much i appreciate and value the comments i get. i read every single one, and they matter a lot! they help me immensely and i am insanely grateful for them. <33

Not many at all. They very quickly made things safer once a few deaths occurred. No, it did not happen that often. When it did, it was people who were messing directly with the power lines. The poster was not made out of fear of electricity or even power lines in general, but of Westinghouse's usage of alternating current power lines. This took place during the switch over from gas to electric. Out of 79 deaths in 1901 to 1902, 14 were caused by electricity (regardless of if AC or DC currents being used) This was a war between Edison and Tesla (ultimately). You had the more expensive, less effective, rather stupid Edison current option: DC, which needed one power plant for every 400 people. It also works within only a handful of kilometres. Or, you had the far, far cheaper, more effective and more useful Tesla current option: AC. Edison had paid tons for the patent on the DC structure and refused Tesla's proposal to switch to AC when he offered. Tesla's ideas were bought up by Westinghouse and golly jee was Edison furious. Knowing his method would lose to Tesla's, he started a massive smear campaign to get people afraid of the AC power lines. The media immediately followed suit, because the media has always been ridiculous. What this poster is opposed to was NOT power lines, but the usage of Tesla's higher voltage AC. Brown (a massive anti-AC) and Edison "proved" AC was "more dangerous than DC by paying kids to kidnap dogs which they then tortured and electrocuted to death in front of live audiences using AC current. I can't speak for other countries, or states really but I was raised in the deep south. History was presented to me in the most simplified manner possible. Propaganda, not fact. Stories meant to make you feel good, not ones that let you understand the world. hi, I saw your post about the two players abusing the auto haven map bug and hiding and omg I've had the same problem. It's so frustrating.

I was in a 2v8 on that map, and 2 survivors were hiding on the edge of outside the map, you know on the other side of the wall? and the other killer I was with and me were just walking around and nothing happened for like 10 minutes. The other killer legit gave up and I guess went afk? It was so frustrating because that isn't fun! I don't even get how it was fun for those survivors. 2v8 is already already stressful to play killer and they just jumped off the map to escape all the time, it sucked.

I talked about it with someone else, who is a survivor main and they were like, "well they're just using what's in from of them. It's not unfair" I said it felt mean bc it ruins the fun and it's poor sportsmanship and they said I was being dramatic. I wanted to break my controller. It's honestly relieving to hear I'm not the only one annoyed about it. Honestly they should just kill switch that map until they fix it.

Sorry for dumping this vent on you. I don't really have any dbd friends besides that one so it was nice to commiserate with someone else about the same topic. I know you didn't ask for all this word vomit so no pressure to answer or anything.

I'm so glad that I'm not alone with this [though it does also suck to hear that others are dealing with the same thing] because good golly jee, me and my friend actually faced the same thing AGAIN a little while after I posted that post when we played 2v8. There was another Claudette that thankfully didn't go on the other side of the map [peace and love Claudettes], which was nice. But me and my friend just kinda lost motivation for that match/were just thrown off so much and lost it [though, with a 2k surprisingly]. But me and him now are just probably gonna fuck around if we see that map again today lol.

And yeah, I really wish BHVR would killswitch the map [and the others that do the same thing like Forgotten Ruins].

Also, you're fine! I love being able to talk to others about things in this game. This was a really cool ask to receive!
