when quinn met stas
a part of: temporary fix au
quinn is struggling with his key. the new key to his new apartment in a new city where heâll play for a new team. he tries not to project that onto whatâs before him, hopes his struggle isnât figurative for his future in vancouver. he insisted on traveling from michigan to vancouver alone, wanting to take the first step to independence by himself.
he kind of regrets that now, thinks heâs only 19 and his parents would probably know what to do if they were here. the sound of the elevator opening behind him startles him slightly and before heâs fully turned around thereâs a dog swishing around his legs, tangling its leash up around him. heâs just bent down to scratch the dark brown dogs ears, run his hands over its soft fur, when a girl steps out the sliding door. âoh, sorry, i didnât think anyone would be up here so late or i wouldnât have let her run freely. amy, come hereâ she apologizes and calls her dog back. amy sits by her feet quickly and tilts her head slightly, looking up at quinn.
âno worries, i just arrived actuallyâ, he points to the boxes next to him in front of the door. âiâm anastasia, i live over hereâ the girl introduces herself pointing to the door opposite of his âfeel free to call me stas, thoughâ he shakes her hand, telling her âiâm quinnâ. the pretty brunette seems to be around his age, sheâs wearing simple black leggings and a slightly oversized (very comfy looking) dark red hoodie, feet clad in black converse. her hair is pulled back into a messy ponytail, the ends of it curling slightly.
âwell, if you need anything donât hesitate to knock or leave a note.â her brown eyes travel down to the key in his hand, lips pulling up into an amused smile. âyou need to kinda pull it out a bit when youâve turned it, itâs really weirdâ she points to his door. âthereâll be like a clickâ she demonstrates it for him with her own key and door and lets amy inside quickly before she turns towards him once more. âseriously, though. i moved in in august last year so i probably know how the inside of your apartment looks right now. feel free to come over, really.â
quinn feels his anxiety from earlier disappear slightly when he tries to open his door again and it actually does unlock, even more so when she offers to help him out. one friendly face in a new city feels like an accomplishment, especially the fact that sheâs a neighbour he shares a hallway with.
âthank you.â he smiles at her, hopes it looks as grateful as he feels right now. âyouâre welcomeâ she grins back, all teeth and crinkled eyes before she actually enters her apartment with one last look over her shoulder.
heâs gotten through unpacking a decent amount of boxes when thereâs a knock on his door. heâs confused, should he be expecting somebody? (he doesnât think so but thatâs never stopped anyone before) when he opens the door he almost stumbles across a blue tupperware box with a hot pink sticky note on it. the black writingâs neat, pretty even. he canât stop his lips from curling into a smile when he reads the words on it.
made too much and thought you might be hungry :)
welcome to van! -stas

A GUIDE TO MEDIEVAL TOURNAMENTS
Do you have a dynastic wedding to celebrate? A diplomatic visit to spice up? An axe to grind with a neighbour whose pageantry is eclipsing yours? Organize a tournament. Itâs always the answer. A tournament of the greatest knights of the realm cannot go wrong.
Of course, itâs also a great and complex undertaking; but, thankfully, this step-by-step handbook should guide you through the process with only minimal pain and no injury
Obtain permission.
In England in France at least, organizing tourneys had become mostly a royal and ducal prerogative after 1340 â if you are not lucky enough to belong to one of those miniscule categories of the population, you would have to seek a special license. Obtaining it shouldnât be a problem⊠unless, of course, there is a war on. In that case, youâd better check the latest royal proclamations â itâs more than possible that one of them contains a temporary ban on all tournaments while men of fighting age might have to risk their lives and limbs against an actual enemy. If this is true, it would be prudent of you to postpone your plans for a few months (or years, depending on how the war is going) â you wouldnât want to content yourself with the kind of furtive affair that was the Le Hem tournament of 1278. It was hastily staged in direct violation of Louis IX âs prohibition of tournaments because of the ongoing war, and as a result had to even dispense with the mĂȘlĂ©e on the third day.
(If you think the prohibition overbearing and unfair, plenty of people would agree with you â and not just the kind of people who can afford swords and horses. The poet Sarrasin criticized the king in his Le Roman du Hem for bankrupting the heralds, armourers, saddlers and provisioners of France with his tournament ban).
2. Consider the time and place.
Most tourneys run from Monday to Sunday, with Friday being the rest day. You would need a spacious marketplace to divide into lists, too.
A lot depends on what kind of tournament you want to host. A general mĂȘlĂ©e whose absence so disappointed the spectators in Le Hem would need more space than a contained joust; on the other hand, mĂȘlĂ©e combat has been steadily losing its popularity as of late in favour of one-on-one jousts.
Of course, some people grumble that the old days when horsemen smashing into enemy in massed formations were the fixture of any tournament where the days when men were still men. But we are modern, fifteenth-century people, and we understand the importance of ensuring safety both for the participants and the spectators â hence the barriers down the centre of each list to prevent the knights from actually colliding with each other, and fenced enclosures to keep the audience strictly away from the danger. Which brings us toâŠ
3. Decide on the rules.
The traditional rules of joust are the following: the knights are divided into two teams, those âwithinâ and those âwithoutâ â or, in other words, the âdefendersâ and the âattackersâ. The space is, in turn, divided into three lists, each separated from the other by high barriers. The courses â the charges by two opposing knights â are going to be run down each, towards the spectacular splintering of lances. Each day, a prize, usually in the form of a small jewel or a golden chain, should be given to the best-performing knight and squire from each team.
You can, however, add or tweak a few details in order to make the sport safer for the participants â or more exhilarating for the audience. For example, you could take a page out of Maximillian Iâs book and provide the knights with special spring-loaded shields that would flow apart if struck in the right place. You could also follow King Edward of Englandâs example and model your tournament after the bĂ©hourd he sponsored in Windsor in 1278: he specified, among other things, that the participants would have to wear cuir bouilli â a type of leather boiled until it was almost as hard as metal â and use wooden shields and whalebone swords.
If you scoff at the lightweight kind of tourneys popular these days, and especially if you care little for pageantry, then a different kind of joust might be more up your alley. The so-called passage of arms, or pas dâarmes, is an undertaking to defend a certain place (usually a bridge or a gate) from all comers. It was inspired by various episodes from Arthurian romances, such as the Romance of Yvain by ChrĂ©tien de Troyes. In fiction, the knights undertook the defend a bridge, a gate, or a ford in single combat, and, if they were defeated, the winner took their place. Naturally, a real passage of arms plays out somewhat differently â for one thing, the defense only lasts a specified period of time (rarely longer than two weeks), and one defeat in a particular joust does not mean surrender. The most famous example of any knights attempting this kind of endeavor is probably the pas dâarmes that Suero de Quinones organized at the Orbigo Bridge in northern Spain for two weeks until the St. Jamesâ Day of 1434. They claimed a plan of breaking 300 lances in total â if they failed, the organizers promised, they would remain there for a further fortnight. They fulfilled that promise, and ended up withdrawing only on the 9th of August â but even with that extra time, theyâve only managed to break 178 lances in total. Itâs no mean result, of course â plenty of minor conventional tourneys end in mighty disappointment for the spectators with not a single lance ending up broken at all.
It must be said that, although a passage of arms is a grandiose undertaking, jousting proper usually only takes a couple of hours a day there â in other words, the spectators are likely to be disappointed anyway. Your fellow knights, however, are going to be delighted by the concept â if, of course, they are true connoisseurs of tourneys just like you.
4. Think of the logistics.
The matter might begin with the rules of fighting itself, but it doesnât end there. If you are in a position to organize a tournament out of your own purse in the first place, you must be the master of the lands where itâs going to be held, so make sure your subjects donât suffer as a result of the soaring prices that usually accompany such events, not to mention the influx of professional warriors. Fix the prices firmly for the duration of the tournament, especially the prices on bread, fish, and meat; stipulate that no spectators or unarmed persons are to mix with the participants; make sure each gate of the city is manned by about twelve armed men, and station at least five hundred guards around the setting of the tournament itself.
5. Send out invitations.
Sending letters of invite seems to be the most logical course â however, it is also the most excruciating one, given the number of noblemen of fighting age who would be eligible for participation. In your situation, it would be better to contact the organizer of the tourney closest to yours and ask him to have your upcoming event announced there.
You would also do well to contact the tournament societies in your region â if you live in Germany, itâs going to be particularly easy: the whole concept, after all, originated in Bavaria. Tournament societies are essentially permanent tournament teams from different regions. Instead of laboriously summoning individual knights, one could simply issue a challenge from one society to another. Moreover, some societiesâ rules even specify that the members have to meet annually at a tournament -it might as well be yours!
6. Think of the theme.
Of course, you donât have to have a theme â you might want your tournament to simply be a bit of rough, honest fun it used to be in William Marshallâs days. We donât live in William Marshallâs days anymore, though, and I suspect you wouldnât want to be outdone by your neighbours.
The most go-to theme are Arthurian legends. Itâs the kind of oldie-but-goldie you cannot go wrong with. The fashion was arguably started by Edward I of England, who set out a round table and acted out a number of Arthurian romances with the other noblemen at the feast after the tournament in honour of his daughterâs wedding. That was a far cry from the spectacular Arthurian festival arranged across the Channel by the lords Longueval and Bazentin in Picardy: they had the tournament presided over by âQueen Guinevereâ, and stipulated that all the attendant knights had to bring a damsel with them. Another member of the theatricals was named as Chevalier au Lyon, who supposedly ârescuedâ the ladies in âGuinevereâs retinue, and even had a real lion with him.
If this is all a bit too out there for you (or, the other way around, too pedestrian â everyone does the Round Table these days!), you could organize the pageantry of the tournament around your heroic ancestor or your sigil â possibly both. For example, the joust that Adolf of Cleves staged in Lille had been inspired by the story of the Clevesâ progenitor, a knight who was miraculously led along the Rhine by a swan and ended up marrying the local princess. During the joust, the âKnight of the Swanâ was to take on all challengers.
The procession, to quote the words of a contemporary, included
ââŠdrummers; and after them a pursuivant of arms dressed in a coat of arms full of swans; after him came a large swan, marvellously and skilfully made, with a crown of gold around its neck, from which hung a shield of the full arms of Cleves; and from this crown hung a golden chain on which, from one end, there hung the shield of the knight; and this swan was flanked by two very well made centaurs who had bows and arrows in their hands, and made as though to shoot at anyone who tried to approach the swanâ.
7. Plan the banquet.
Nothing can sour the impression of a great tourney as a meagre banquet afterwards. The need for a generous display of food is self-explanatory â roebucks, suckling pigs, silvered eels, gilded bread, almond soup, kid goats, and the like â however, this is sadly not enough. You also have to think about the entremets.
What are the entremets? To put it simply, everything that is a part of the banquet, but is not edible. Iâm not simply talking about straightforward entertainments like music, theatre pieces, or juggling. Entremets can also be elaborate installations for your guests to admire, such as a mini-carrack, exquisitely executed up to the last rope and laden with goods, or a mechanical forest full of strange, if thankfully unmoving, beasts. Even vessels sometimes count â you could have the sweets be contained in little chariots decorated with gold and azure. If you prefer to walk on the wild side, take a page out of Tailleventâs book (quite literally â itâs called Viandier) and construct a fake lion equipped to spout flame: âmake it with a brass-lined mouth and a thin brass tongue, and with paper teeth glued in the mouth; and put camphor and a little cotton in the mouth and, when it is about to be served before the lords, set fire to thisâ.
Just donât do what they did for the Feast of the Pheasant when theyâve made a statue of a naked woman in a large hat who spouted sweetened wine from her breasts for the duration of the dinner. Please.

Ducktales Switched AU: Masterpost !
I was asked to make a masterpost pertaining to my feelsy AU and figured considering how far itâs come, it was needed!
Brief summary: This is an AU where Scrooge and Magicaâs roles have been swapped. Gladstone takes the place of Lena after Scrooge saved him from the House of Lucky Fortune, whilst a shadow child called Lena takes the place of Magicaâs niece. Magica lives in the mansion with Lena, Webby, Mrs. Beakley, and her brother-turned-raven, Poe. Scroogeâs family is of magical heritage, including Donald and his boys who are currently estranged from the old miser after a terrible accident involving Della Duck. The unlucky duck avoided Duckburg all their lives up until the kids hijacked and sabotaged the boat to visit out of curiousity. And then the shenanigans began.
Now the core aspect of it is out of the way, more information under the cut! Biographies may vary in length (and key events) as I am still figuring out concepts. As a result, I may make edits occasionally! If you have any further questions, even about characters Iâve already talked about or have YET to talk about, please shoot!
The official tag for it is #ducktales switched au, until further notice!
CHARACTERS:
Magica De Spell: The richest duck in the world, Magica is a well reknowned figure in the world, running huge companies as well as owning a considerable amount of land. Her estate used to belong to the one and only Scrooge McDuck, until she bought it out after his disappearance. She does adventure in her spare time (and has done in the past, crossing paths with Scrooge AND Goldie), though is quite a busy business woman so rarely has time for her domestic life. Extremely eccentric and a little chaotic, but she does get the job done. Has dabbled in magic before, but after her brother was turned into a raven, doesnât much do so anymore.
Scrooge McDuck: An infamous warlock of his time, Scrooge McDuck was a former treasure hunter and magical artefact collector, jolly and passionate. He ventured the world with his nephew and niece gathering items which slowly corrupted his mindset, much to the worries of Donald. He became power hungry, possessive, and stuck in his own decisions - and that ended terribly when Della Duck tried to lead him away from the life of corruption. A reflex stray of magic ended in disaster, and in one day, both relatives left him. Grieving over the loss of Della and how it was all his fault, he left behind his estate and relocated to Mt. Vesuvius, then spent the following years lost and searching for a way to get Della back, no matter the casualities. His first real attempt to get her back was thwarted by Magica De Spell, and he was trapped in his own dime for five years up until the events of the Shadow War.
Lena De Spell: Magicaâs ânieceâ. After fleeing numerous boarding schools, Lena turned up on Magicaâs doorstep and wound up adopted. She was created during the fight between Magica and Scrooge, much like in canon, only this time around, Gladstone was there to take her place. Magica took her in partly out of guilt and responsibility for her creation, and theyâve been together ever since. Lena rarely gets to see her aunt much, and Magicaâs spoilings donât really help this - though that does change eventually, around the time she met these three weird kids. Lenaâs connection to Scrooge is something Magica does stress over though...
Webby Vanderquack: Lenaâs best friend and local conspiracy theorist. Not much different from her canon counterpart, she gushes over the De Spell familyâs history, much to the irritation of Lena who frankly could care less. With how busy Magica is, Webby and Lena are constantly together, and go on adventures with Gladstone Gander, the triplets, and the entire family if theyâre lucky. Family dictionary, and her world totally wasnât shaken when she discovered Scrooge McDuckâs belongings in the manor.
Gladstone Gander: Scroogeâs lucky adopted and non-magical nephew. At some point before Scrooge was shadow-fied, Gladstone was saved from the Lucky Casino by his uncle. In exchange, he agreed to help Scrooge out without reading the fine print (binding contracts are never good). After Scrooge and Magicaâs battle, Scroogeâs shadow attached to his, and the rest rolls out as youâd expect. He eventually becomes involved in the De Spellsâ lives, trying to retrieve the number one dime for his uncle and earn his freedom. Unfortunately, his growing attachment to the family means his luck doesnât really work with him, at least for Scroogeâs goals. Becomes quite protective of Lena and Webby (and usually stands up to Scrooge because of them), and develops awkward feelings for Magica.
Has no idea what Scroogeâs actual motives are, and Scrooge is hesitant to say them in case Gladstone rebels. Not that he doesnât eventually anyways. Come the Other Bin, the goose has enough of his uncleâs orders but that ends badly for him, and the freedom in the Shadow War is temporary. Cursed a shadow, but that doesnât stop him protecting the kids, which is his end - least in waking life. Stiiiiill pondering who his shadow gets attached to.
Donald Duck: Scroogeâs magical nephew and your typical bad luck magnet. Before the incident with his relatives, he ventured the world while studying magic under his uncleâs wing. Lived in Duckburg until Dellaâs disappearance, then left with the boys, constantly on the move for a new home (and job). Wary about the usage of magic after what happened to Della, though hesitantly taught the boys what he knows (at least the bare minimum). Occasionally traveled with his friends, JosĂ© Carioca and Panchito, and didnât return to Duckburg until his curious nephews hijacked the boat and stranded them there. Spends most of his time looking for a new job to fix the boat. Fixed up the boat over the course of season 1, but it wound up getting broken again by its end. Magica offered his family to stay come season 2 in thanks for the battle against his uncle.
Della Duck: The missing mother. She ventured with her uncle and brother, though unlike them wasnât that invested in magic. Della focused on practicality, and although she was a talented witch at a young age, she ultimately lost interest and wanted to tackle everything hands on. She disappeared before her children were born, sucked into a portal to the underworld after trying to confiscate an artefact from her uncleâs grasp and being hit by a stray bout of magic. As far as everyone knows, Della is long dead. Her memorial can be found at Castle McDuck, and her family visits it often.
Huey: An incredibly bright child with a knack for reading; takes to spellbooks like a duck to water. Typically the nephew most knowledgeable on spells and if you need a magic dictionary, then heâs your guy. Has about as much potential as Donald when it comes to magic ability, but heâs still learning and as a result his spells vary in strength. Into science and idolizes Gizmoduck, finding the practicality of science and technology fascinating.
Dewey: Darts right into danger just like his mother; Dewey has had accidents with his spell casting, and accidentally snapped his wand at a point (those are expensive to replace)/ His spellcasting has pretty good strength for a boy his age... until you realize it has zero handling. Until he can get a lid on it, his spells are pretty unstable and the wand doesnât help things. Despite its defects, however, only Dewey knows how to somewhat work it because heâs had it so long. Dewey headed the âletâs sabotage the boat while Donald is sleeping and go to Duckburgâ plan.
Louie: The lazy triplet has a lot of tricks up his sleeves. Spells are usually pretty tame as he has a tendency to just use them for house chores, but out of all the triplets, he has the strongest magical capability. The downside is heâs just never motivated to push himself that far. As such, he has a habit of getting into the most trouble - and since heâs still building self confidence, fear isnât the motivation he needs.
Poe de Spell: A duck cursed to be a raven by Scrooge McDuck; he was transformed into a raven during Scroogeâs final confrontation with Magica. Generally acts as her sisterïżœïżœïżœs advisor of sorts, wary, wise, but still as snarky as in the OG Ducktales. Acts as a Zazu to Lena, in that sense, but cursed teens are always able to evade a watchful eye. Heâs a raven the entirety of Season 1 before the wizard, Donald Duck, is able to turn him back after the events of the Shadow War.
Launchpad McQuack: The family driver/pilot - Magica admires his positive and smashing energy and wouldnât have any other person to drive her to and from her destinations.
Goldie oâGilt: Scrooge McDuckâs old flame; she had history with the warlock before he took a turn for the worse. Their relationship was about as youâd expect until the incident, then it grew colder with every encounter because Goldieâs rivalry was intrusive to Scroogeâs plans. She had no idea what incited this change. Attended a party and ran into another old rival: Magica De Spell, and they ventured to white agony plains together (where Goldie was reminiscent of the days with Scrooge, though she said little about it to Magica).
Mrs. Beakley: Agent 22 - used to work with Scrooge McDuck, and soon as his housekeeper until Dellaâs disappearance and his leave. Signed up for the same job with Magica de Spell, awaiting her former bossâ return and to keep an eye on his belongings.
Duckworth: The manorâs ghost; previously served under Scrooge McDuck before his disappearance. Along with Mrs. Beakley, is currently guarding the warlockâs belongings. Extremely loyal to Scrooge in general, but due to the bonds heâs made with the people around him, that loyalty is a tad strained. Unlike in canon, he actually stayed behind before the events of the Shadow War.

Poe De Spell.
LORE:
The Scrooge sketch that started it all - This was just a random idea I came up with one day; I loved role switch AUs, especially when theyâre with antagonists and protagonists.
Initial Magica Concept - Later adapted the design to better fit the design in the reboot.
General PSA about the AU - 1 - Not everyone changes drastially; theyâre just adapted.
General PSA about the AU - 2 - About the general storyline.
McDuck Family Lore - 1 - The McDuck family are one of magic, Gladstone being the exception as he is adopted. Della died due to a magical accident and Donald was unable to save her.
De Spell Family Lore - 1 - About Magicaâs relationship with Lena and her characterisation in general.
De Spell Family Lore - 2 - Information on the raven, Poe de Spell, and Lena.
Poe & Gladstone - stuff about Poeâs personality and fate, with a bit about Gladstone.
Lenaâs Existence in the AU - shadow child, ye.
Donald - 1 - Initial Donald design; pretty basic and eventually got changed.
Donald - 2 - Doodle of that boy.
Scrooge - 1 - Doodles; Scroogeâs infamy is pretty well known and he wonât stand for family members getting in the way of his goals.
Donald and the boys - 1 - Donald teaches the boys magic... but only with restraint.
Donald and the boys - 2 (+Gladstone meta) - Slightly scrapped concept; Donald was stranded in Duckburg with the boys instead of constantly traveling the world across the season so he and the boys would be more involved with the plot.
Donald and the boys - 3 - and where theyâre living.
Donald and Dellaâs childhood - they were so smol.
Dellaâs Scarf - ouch.
Deweyâs Wand - 1 - it broken.
Deweyâs Wand - 2 - but he knows how to use it.
The Triplets & their involvement - I still love this idea so much.
Scrooge and Gladstone - 1 - An old concept I suppose; Iâm honestly thinking about scrapping this as âmarriageâ takes a little too long for Scroogeâs liking and the concept just irks me a little.
Scrooge and Gladstone - 2 - Gladstone trying to casually divert attention to something else does not work in the slightest.
Scrooge and Gladstone - 3 - Summary of how Scroogeâs quest to save Gladstone and get his backup plan for the fight against Magica went.
Scrooge and Gladstone - 4 - Decided to mess with a different kind of perspective.
Voice Musing - I saw stuff in the tags it had me thinking emoji.
Scrooge and Gladstone - 5 - lore galore in the tags, btw.
Scroogeâs relationship with Goldie - talks a bit about her debut ep.
not canon but HOW DARE YOU ANON - scrooge and goldie hurt me.
Gladstoneâs interactions with the kids - 1 - Lena is generally suspicious but Webby is painfully open.
Gladstoneâs interactions with the kids - 2 - Lena is a suspicious child wary for Webbyâs sake. Also I am called out for having too much Gladstone in this AU. Looking at this list, I can confirm I am trash.
Gladstoneâs interactions with Magica - 1 - spoilers: heâs a dork.
JAW$ redraw but itâs Gladstone and Scrooge - I spent so much time on this but it was really worth it. He likely would have had the friendship bracelet Webby gave him but I was too burnt out to draw that section.
JAW$ doodles (Lena, Gladstone and Scrooge) - in which a teenager is baffled and shocked this guy would save anyone but himself.
Other Bin Doodles (Gladstone ft. Lena) - Some sketches I did after rewatching the Other Bin; Lena and Webby both get turned into dolls in this one.
Other Bin suffering - goose boy sad, save him.
Gladstone and Magica content (ft. Lena) - someone asked for Magicstone so I delivered.
Fenton & Gyro - some general stuff and their relationship with their boss.
Mrs. Beakleyâs role in the Switched AU - I donât talk about her enough tbh.
Scroogeâs old personality and his relationship with his niece and nephew - meta is so fun to write out but ouch.
Scroogeâs Motives & About Della - was rather painful to write about.
Scrooge and Donald - 1 - Did you know Dellaâs scarf used to be whole?
Shadow War Sketches - 1 - Man I really was on a field trip with these.
Shadow War Sketches - 2 - in which Gladstone perishes.
Shadow War Sketches - 3 - got to work with good expressions with these.
Shadow War Sketches - 4 - veeeeery proud of these.
Fake Shadow War Screenshots - got asked to edit suffering and I delivered.
Fake Triplet Screenshots - edits of the children.
Fake Scrooge Screenshots - I still donât think green suits him tbh.
Fake Magica screenshot - she.
Shadow Gladstone and his fate - This... was dark.
Fenton and Scrooge - Took place after the Shadow War, I guess, while Scrooge is grieving.
This is a serious AU - yeah... i got nothin to say.
Inspiration - Iâm a nerd, go figure.
Fanfiction WIP - who knows when Iâll finish it, but itâs in the works.
Scrapped Visual Novel - Maybe? Idk, depends if I ever get time for it.
Misc. Sketches - [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]Â

well it was supposed to be FCBD (yes i know âpostponedâ), and itâs been a terrible day thus far, so howâs about my plot outline/list for what was going to happen in Superverse before it went on hiatus...because at this point it would either be another time skip past all/most of this or a full on hard reboot if we went back to it at this point
to start off, the STT was going to continue with Chloe struggling to be leader since Timâs around, and everyone keeps going to him a bit more than her...well half of everyone. it culminates with Time leaving to go restart the Power pals, since well, heâs nearing 20 at this point. and the STT was getting quite a large roster, so the older members went with him, while the younger stayed and Chloe once again could be the leader.
Kevin wouldâve met Junior at some point (because who doesnât like amophus daemons). Trudy also got herself a girlfriend in the form of Susan C. Anthony, a bank heiress, who does not have powers.
Tootie was going to eventually come back (idk when or how) as Shadow Stalker. again, her return was farther down the line, so i donât have the details that well ironed out...
Chester had already left Star Investigations because Mari had called him to a reading of Catmanâs will. he did indeed inherit half of West Industries, as the young Adam was posing as a long lost son and thus was legally entitled to half the company too. Chester took over as Catman, while Mari stayed on to help Adam deal with the company. Chester would join Timâs new Power Pals, thus finally fixing their broken friendship.
Trixie and Trini were going to head to Glamazon Island after they defeated Hair Razor. Triniâs lasso was destroyed in the fight, so they figured maybe she could use this realityâs lasso. Trixieâs powers were also starting to flare up, so they were also hoping to get some answers to that. once there they get to see that Goldenlocks has had her son, and they get to meet Hermia (whom Dwight was dropping off). they both end up going through a mystical trial of sorts that ended with Trini not getting the golden lasso of this universe, but her own silver one forged for her; Trixie on the other hand gets flashes of Celârey and Trisha, and the mystical voices tell her that she needs to go to England, leading into a Star/Sonic crossover event
over with Sonic and Paladin, itâs business as usual. however, CHATTY is starting to get hyper aggressive since Sanjay and Francis are starting to renew their romance.the team has to take her out, but in the ensuing battle their complex looses power for some time. this leads to 1) Sanjay learning that Britannia has blackmail over every member of Paladin and 2) it jump starts Molly out of her coma. Molly goes full Phoenix force though, as she absorbed the Light from Trixie at the end of Civil War (thus leading to her coma). this is when Trixie and Trini arrive more or less, so they help Paladin wrangle Molly back in and Trixie is able to reabsorb the Light, getting her powers back, and becoming Star-Gal once more. this also leaves Molly awake and permanently able to fly.
it would soon become revealed that BRAT, headed by Doombringer (the life hopping sorceress from King Arthurâs time), had been bankrolling Paladin (she also had a hand in funding Shallowgraveâs Civil War, and had the Summers killed, among other things). how is it revealed? because Crimson Lightning comes back into play once Sanjay and Francis are together again as the annoying jealous ex that he is. they manage to get him under control thanks to Mollyâs help, but Alyssa ends up with the demon sword, becoming the Black Knight.
Trini goes and joins Timâs Power Pals, while Trixie gets called back into space. First she finds and frees Hawkgal, then the two go out into space. Remember the ice guy Star Investigations helped out? well he sends a distress call to Trixie; her mentor Killgala is back some how...and the Darkness is also en-couching. Mark and Starfury also join up with them, ad they would in time find a version of Crash Nebula. the whole Light/Darkness mythos was also better explained, about how at the time of creation the cosmos split, thus leading to the Darkness and the Light; both energies became corrupted in different ways (the Light Corp imprisoning and using the Light, the Darkness going power hungry and creating the Eliminator drones, etc) and only by genuinely reuniting them could there be balance or something. thatâs all cosmic stuff that i hadnât fully fleshed out, since we needed to get past the Cosmic Cat stuff...
of course one minor subplot; Hermia would use Trixie and Triniâs existence as an excuse to escape Glamazon Island, claiming to go back to the mainland to go live with them, only to instead go shack up with Liam (the young Wet Willie). Trini, since she joins the Power pals, is the one to find that out, and gets royally peeved. but Hermia eventually takes over her spot on the team.
over in Eraserz, the team was going to get stuck going on a World Tour, being cut off from the Nexxus because some force was screwing up the multiverse. they would end up in a Mojoverse-like setting where theyâd meet a half-editor entity (i forget who it was, mightâve been the April Fool or Puck). theyâd pick up some temporary members, like the Franklin West Catman (who ends up staying in his reality), Charlie Hampton, the young Crimson Chin (who ends up on an alternate earth where the Power pals and STT had tehir age roles reversed, but there was no Chin, so he stays with that earthâs teenage Goldie) and some more permanent ones like RJ; specifically when they recruit RJ, Shirely stayed out of the Primeverse to do so (this was plot important) but so did Tony because he didnât wanna risk running into Trini; RJ was recruited BEFORE Trini joined the Power Pals though. Tony would end up going missing while the team was hunting for an entity that was killing off alternate Trixie tangs, so they called in Trini to rejoin the team. somewhere along the line, RJ got stuck in a time displacement, and wound up on Earth 0 (the world that Shirely was exiled to) in the past; see, since RJ joined up, Shirely had been half avoiding, half flirting with him, and he was just starting to come around to it, but now he understood why, because from Shirelyâs perspective they'd already dated. so RJ spends time with the past Shirely, is the one that convinces him not to be a prick and help the Eraserz when they come to him to take down Dark magician and co, and he ends up going back to his proper time, and the two of them pick back up tehir relationship where it left off. (this is all every important because as it would be revealed, Shirley and RJ are actually Tru Turner/Double T/FTTâs Masked Magicianâs parents. Tim and Toot adopted her to keep her safe. thatâs why she has such cosmic power, because sheâs half Editor).
we were also going to learn more about Maggieâs backstory, since on the surface she seems like the only Eraserz member without a horrible tragic backstory, but as the plot progressed weâd keep getting hints to something. yeah, she has a Winter Solider!Kevin on her earth, and she kinda had to kill her cousin to save lives. but turns out she didnât really kill him or something, because they end up on her world at some point and find out that she was manipulated to think she had?? something like that...i also had no intention to ever bring Kore back, so yeah, heâs dead-dead.
anyways, the Trixie hunting entity; thatâs the Dark Star-Gal from that one special. sheâs the Trixie that merged with the Darkness (since the Darkness wants to consume the Light, that we know she was the vessel for) and became self aware of the multiverse and started reality hopping to consume all Trixies. the Eraserz stop her...only to discover that the reason that Dark Star became aware of the multiverse was because the Showrunner gave her access...the Showrunner that has been MIA since the Eliminatorz were stopped.
the Showrunner was the one now causing the multiverse to start collapsing and breaking down because, to him, âthis isnât what the universe was supposed to be likeâ. he created one canon, and then another entity (the fandom) came in and started breaking it up, making spin offs, AUs, different versions, creating the multiverse. so he broke that entity up into pieces and scattered them across the multiverse, then created the Editors to police the multiverse to make sure the pieces couldnât get back together (thus the universe rule of only 1 version of a person can exits there at a time) and slowly try to correct and remove the âwrongâ universes. but the Editors grew out of his control as they evolved, so he created the Eraserz to, well, âeraseâ the mistakes. but even they went against his plans, so he decided to just leave and just erase everything. but the pieces of the greater entity did find a way to come together, (a fragment of?) Omegus managed to hitch a ride with RJ when the Eraserz recruited him. Omegus then overtook Tony who bore the mark of Beteal, who went to Dark Magician to take the powers that Anosmotic, aka Zethran, had given him away, undoubtedly found a way to the Nega-verse to confront Alphane, and so on and so forth (if you hadnât noticed, each reality that had an Omegus equivalent had a different name, and now you know why)...until all the pieces could be reunited, possibly in the body of CoT!Saber actually, into one being called Omnicron.
and the final confrontation of the Showrunner and Omnicron would be in the vast void as the multiverse was set on pause as it crumbled. the Showrunner claiming that Omnicron had destroyed the thing he had created, only for Omnicron to be all âi saw what you created and wanted to create my own. you helped me flourish, and then i helped others flourish. how can growth and creativity be the wrong thing to do?â because no, Omnicron did not destroy the multiverse, it was indeed the Showrunner; Omnicron took what the Showrunner had made and let it flourish on its own, while he just tried to contain it back into what he made it to be to begin with.
and so yeah, thatâs what i had planned for Superverse. some thing were far more fleshed out than others, but those were the parts iâd had planned for YEARS. i had the Omnicron stuff planned before Civil War, while the Cosmic Cat i had planned since Civil War

quinn x stas lore
night owl gf x slightly insomniac bf
reader x reader
introvert x introvert
great cook gf x knows three recipes bf
hockey player bf x knows nothing about hockey gf
physical touch gf x acts of service bf
team captain bf x mom friend gf
from their first week as neighbours onwards (when stas finds out quinn can cook no more than three proper meals) they meet up whenever they both have time to cook dinner together. quinn becomes better and better and dinners turn into movie nighs, which eventually turn into spending the night together.
quinn's never really thought about how she gets to uni and back so when he sees her leave on a black motorcycle it's over for him. after a while of knowing her he asks if she'd take him along sometimes and stas teaches him how to backpack. it becomes one of his favourite ways to unwind and he falls in love with vancouver basically from the back of her bike.
they're both suckers for a glass of red after a good dinner and even better sex. sometimes she makes him watch criminal minds, sometimes they watch hockey or soccer and sometimes they pick up their books, reading silently or out loud. they both appreciate this quality time immensely because with both their schedules it's really hard to find a quiet moment alone, much less together.
when it turns out that stas' workplace and the bar the canucks go to after wins are the same place, quinn can't wipe the smile off his face. the more observant of his teammates quickly figure out that quinn and stas can't be only neighbours with the way they look at each other and stas is quickly accepted into the wag circle after they're caught kissing for the first time.
quinn includes her in the selection process for the lake house really subtly. he tells stas he's looking for a rental for the summer, showing her pictures and making her tell him what she likes about them and what she'd want for the summer. when they get to michigan he tells her jack and him bought the house and as soon as she walks inside she finds everything she told him to look for. the lake house becomes one of her favourite spaces and she and quinn love spending their summers there, especially the two weeks quinn makes sure they get the house all to their own every year.
