as a femme i think it’s so important that we see and perceive butches not only as complimentary or opposite part of our identity, potential gf/bf, sex partners or lovers, but also as friends.
make butch friends without any intention beyond genuine friendship. hang out with butches, laugh with butches, talk with butches, take care of butches and let them take care of you.
we need to stop centring both our identity and butch identity around sex and love only. they’re our friends, family and the strangers in the street that brighten up our days.
make friends with butches!

if you get mad at lesbians for calling their partners their boyfriend you need to have some reflection time and really process why it bothers you so much, lesbians that use he/him pronouns or like to be called boyfriend are not “uprooting the sanctity of lesbianism” or “disgracing the identity” or any of the terfy rhetoric y’all are coming up with and id argue that there’s nothing more lesbian than having or being a butch/masc lesbian boyfriend, y’all are just stuck on societies definition/view of lesbians, there is no one way to be a lesbian and im so sick of it

Quite frankly, the discourse of “calling your masc partner your boyfriend” is super fucking annoying. On one hand, the convo is rooted in transphobia and trying to force mascs to still function within the confines of femininity that they aren’t comfortable in and the other side of the convo is people constantly trying to argue and validate their relationship dynamics with complete fucking strangers on the internet. Personally, I don’t give a fuck if you feel like calling a masc partner “my boyfriend” or “my husband” is rooted in heteronormativity because this is what works for US in OUR relationships. We have to come to a realization and thorough understanding that in a relationship amongst two women, THERE IS NO HETERONORMATIVITY. Our relationship dynamics however we choose to model them aren’t seen as valid to cishet, straights anyway. We can spend our days discoursing back and forth on the internet for hours or we can get back to what’s really important: Loving ourselves, our women, and protecting our community against an oppressive oligarchy that wants to see us all dead.
#i am a boyfriend#butch boyfriends rise up#but fr ppl r so weird abt this. idk what's so hard to get#some gay women are gnc and enjoy being called masculine terms of endearment whats the big deal

your icon used to be a bicycle, right? why are you roblox?
you mean this one?
I drew the stick figure also! :3 Not the bike tho, I got that from google image stock photos, but I did draw the pink girlie on it!
A couple reasons why I changed it! One is that I feel no need to commit to the same icon for my blog forever. Two is that my username used to be @ bi-dykes-on-bikes so the bike was flawless for it, but now that its @ bi-dykes (a beloved moot used to have bi-dykes as their side acc name and changed their username for me to have it <3) and now that it’s @ bi-dykes I can be more flexible with the theme, a non bike icon fits just as well now. Three is that they are matching icons by @bisexy-and-i-know-it! I am matching with beloved mutual @bisexual-coala and not only do they look great together, my blog description is way longer than hers so we fit this meme lol

This line about how even the other gay people you find annoying or sell outs or who live their life in the exact opposite way you do are still part of the tribe was written in 1977 but should be plastered on the internet today

I really liked when I had this idea, and then I was crying because the butch's face reminded my ex's, so I started hating it...
Anyways, I hope someone can get happiness out of my suffering!

My past bi art! I haven’t done as much art for this flag, but I love how the art I have done has come out. Maybe I should do more. Anyway, the first piece is one of my early ones but I still like it, it’s called “Bi Ocean” and is a part of my watery pride collection. The second is my bi and pan rats, which I gave a background to together for solidarity. The last is simply my bi rat.
My original art made in Procreate, image descriptions in alt.
