Bunch o art from like, 2 years ago that I forgot existed.

Ive been feeling pretty incompetent lately artwise. I miss the interest i used to have. But looking at this stuff just reminds me of what ive already done. Its not a skill issue, its an inspiration/mood issue.

Some of this is fanart some is original stuff, some is fan characters.

1 - she’s not 19 2 - no one denies, Hordak is an evil nation’s overlord. “Ultimate bad guy”. Though Entrapta is not quite a white sheep either. 3 - it’s not hard to see a bit more complexity in characters and/or change them a little bit. Imagination is powerful. 4 - they are unlikely, but interesting characters to have cute or funny interactions with each other. 5 - some people are into drama, angst, heavy or even unhealthy relationships. 6 “weird” is primordial definition of shipping.

1) Yeah, there was some interview word of god canon i missed excuse me for assuming she’s ya know the same age as the protagonists she’s put as equals and designed to match. Also like say she’s in the same age range as queen Angela and those people. They were still KIDS at the time that Hordak was an adult so still gets some creepo points. and he’s still got a major power imbalance by being the boss. I admit i was wrong though. 

2) Yeah, i know i hate her lack of thinking through consequences/morals. But she’s still not invaded whole areas and stolen their life source, been an abuser, or done the whole murder torture thing. AND i think it should be taken into account that we know she doesn’t comprehend how dangerous and horrible he is to people. Like that does matter, someones emotional maturity does matter in rather a relationship is healthy and equal.  And he still thinks of her as less than him and her whole planet as disposable, Entrapta’s not my favourite but maybe she does deserve better than that?

3)I have no idea what that means. If you mean AUs then like sure i mean Aus are Aus but no not everyone shipping them is thinking only of an AU where he isn’t an abusive imperialist or he also is one

4) I mean yeah i said they are funny together. But people can be this amazing thing called in a scene together and we don’t assume they are in love/fucking each other. Non-romantic/sexual relationships can be a thing. I know wow shocking!

5) drama and angst is not the same thing as unhealthy or abusive so jot that down. I also think examining unhealthy and abusive relationships in writing can be a good thing, i do it all the time. But there is a difference between writing a story or meta about an unhappy relationship and painting it as cute/funny. there is a difference between saying “they're so funny/cute UWU” and examining unhealthy dynamics.

6) SO? I put forward there is a difference between shipping to characters who’ve never met or are from different source materials, stuff i find weird, and unhealthy ships. Or stuff like different species and aliens or whatever that’s weird and fun! I’m capable of nuance, try it sometime?

Yeah i know right? all those people who have no mind to critically analyse media and the dynamics between the characters people ship and how that relates to the way people view media and the problematic relationships people idolize they really need to work on their maturity levels.

I mean all them out here making light of and cutesifying horribly abusive and violent people for their ships really need to examine why they do that and use their maturity to think about why they would think that’s cute. Also, i mean i can’t believe people can’t assume that to people who stand in the same room can just be there and not have to be fucking. 

I do understand that actual children don’t have the life experience to really think about these things but the adults doing it are so immature right?

Yeah, i didn’t see that interview i just assumed she was a teen like the rest. I’m never huge into word of god canon HP really fucked me up on that. I admit that i am wrong though. 

But it doesn’t change a word of what i said after that and if all you can say is Well she’s in here tweenies so none of the relationships can be abusive !!!! then you should really reevaluate your bar for healthy relationships. 

Yeah, I’ll block the tag, but i can, on my own blog, do this thing called have opinions???? You can reply to them it’s a free world and i get that, but just telling me “Don’t like Don’t watch :-)” isn’t a real argument about anything. Considering people use that to defend even worse relationships like incest or adult/child maybe try a better defence.

Oh shit hi, thisissolate!I don’t mind at all! Yes this is an RP blog. Due to the nature of having this blog, I generally make it purely for my own entertainment so I don’t really put much forethought into making everything neat and tidy, and thus don’t really have a tag or link (tried to but it just bogged me down and I didn’t really care for it) Best way to find RPs on my blog is to search user names in the blog’s search bar or by going ‘Galrannoodle.tumblr.co m/tagged/-username-’ in the address bar.
