Meowscles from Fortnite
Bisexual Pride Icons
In celebration of Pride Month 2024, I will be posting a new icon set of a canon LGBTQ+ character every day. Today's canon LGBTQ+ character is Meowscles from Fortnite, who is implied to be bisexual. He is depicted with a glider adorned with the Bi pride flag in the Rainbow Royale 2021 loading screen. Additionally, while he was previously in a relationship with Lynx, a female character, after their breakup in Chapter 3: Season 4, he mentions looking for "an app for single cat dads", implicitly a dating app, suggesting an interest in men.

The Evolution of Air Travel: From Wright Brothers to Supersonic Jets
Air travel has transformed significantly since the Wright Brothers first took to the skies in 1903. Over the past century, advancements in aviation have reshaped how people and goods move across the globe. This article explores the remarkable journey of air travel, from primitive gliders to the sophisticated supersonic jets of today, detailing key innovations and pivotal moments that have propelled the aviation industry forward.
Pioneering the Skies: The Wright Brothers' Legacy
The aviation story begins with two visionary siblings, Orville and Wilbur Wright. On December 17, 1903, they achieved the first powered, controlled, and sustained human flight near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The Wright Flyer, a fragile biplane, soared for a mere 12 seconds, covering 120 feet. This historic flight laid the foundation for modern aviation, setting the stage for a century of aerodynamic research and technological development.
Their invention sparked interest worldwide, leading to rapid aircraft design and capabilities enhancements. By the 1920s, airplanes evolved from wood-and-fabric constructions to more durable designs featuring metal skins and robust engines, enabling longer and more reliable flights.
The Golden Age of Air Travel
The period between the 1930s and 1950s is often called the "Golden Age of Air Travel." Significant advancements were made during this era, including the introduction of pressurized cabins in the Boeing 307 Stratoliner, which allowed commercial planes to fly higher and avoid weather disturbances. This era also saw the rise of iconic aircraft such as the Douglas DC-3, which became the backbone of the global airline industry due to its reliability and efficiency.
Luxury also became a hallmark of air travel during this time. Airlines like Pan American World Airways offered glamorous services, including elegant dining and spacious seating, setting a high standard for international travel and making flying a prestigious affair.
Jet Age Revolution
The advent of the Jet Age in the mid-20th century marked another pivotal shift in aviation history. The development of the jet engine led to aircraft like the Boeing 707 and the Douglas DC-8, which dramatically reduced travel time and connected continents faster than ever before. This period saw a boom in commercial aviation, making air travel accessible to the masses and not just the wealthy elite.
The efficiency and speed of jet travel expanded the airline industry's reach, providing unprecedented growth in tourism and business travel. International travel became more feasible, fostering greater cultural exchange and global connectivity.
The Supersonic Dream and its Challenges
In the quest for speed, the aerospace industry ventured into supersonic travel. The Concorde, a turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner, became the epitome of high-speed travel when it commenced service in 1976. Capable of cruising at twice the speed of sound, the Concorde could reduce the flight time between New York and London to under three hours.
However, the dream of mainstream supersonic travel faced numerous challenges. High operational costs, environmental concerns over sonic booms, and limited seating capacity led to the Concorde's retirement in 2003. Despite its commercial struggles, the Concorde remains a significant technological achievement and a symbol of what future air travel might still aspire to achieve.
Modern Advancements and the Future of Flight
Today, the aviation industry focuses on sustainability and efficiency. Modern aircraft have advanced materials, more fuel-efficient engines, and innovative aerodynamic designs to reduce environmental impact. Companies like Boeing and Airbus have introduced models such as the 787 Dreamliner and the A350, which offer long-range capabilities with significantly reduced fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Looking ahead, the industry is exploring revolutionary concepts, including electric-powered aircraft and even the potential return of supersonic passenger jets with modern technology to mitigate past challenges. Start-ups and major aerospace firms are racing to develop viable electric planes that promise to be quieter, cleaner, and more cost-effective.
A Century of Skyward Ascent
From the Wright Brothers' first flight to the sleek jets that now crisscross the skies, the evolution of air travel reflects human ingenuity and the relentless pursuit of progress. Each aviation era has brought challenges and breakthroughs, driving continuous improvement in how we fly. As technology advances, the following chapters of air travel will likely be marked by innovations that make flying even more accessible, sustainable, and faster than ever before.

Address the letters to the holes in my butterfly wings Nothing's forever, nothing is as good as it seems And when the clouds won't iron out And the monsters creep into your house And every door is hard to close Well, I hope you know how proud I am you were created With the courage to unlearn all of their hatred God, I hope that you're happier today 'Cause I love you And I hope that you're okay
Image ID: 5 black & white gifs that fade to golden yellow
Image 1: A gif of Aang’s glider burning in a river of lava, blended with a gif of Aang (with hair), determined, spinning the glider and sticking it into the ground, both from The Awakening. It is overlaid with the text “Address the letters to the holes in my butterfly wings” and a small icon of an envelope. It then fades to a gif of Aang bald once again and bending, his tattoos on full display (the scene where he purposely enters a fully controlled Avatar State to put out the forest fire and then return the water back to the sea); there is a smaller circular gif of him smiling in his Avatar outfit, both from Sozin’s Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang. It is overlaid with the text “Well, I hope you know how proud I am you were created.”
Image 2: A gif of Fire Nation audience milling about (waiting to see the prince and princess), blended with a gif of Zuko (in crown prince outfit) striding forward, looking unhappy, both from The Awakening. It is overlaid with the text “Nothing's forever, nothing is as good as it seems” and a small icon of an infinity symbol. It then fades to a gif of Zuko redirecting his father’s lightning from The Day Of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse; there is a smaller circular gif of him smiling in his Fire Lord outfit (agreeing he and Aang are now friends), from Sozin’s Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang. It is overlaid with the text “With the courage to unlearn all of their hatred.”
Image 3: A gif of the Fire Nation war balloons floating across the sky, blended with a gif of Sokka in his warrior outfit turning his face and beginning to cry, both from The Day Of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse. It is overlaid with the text “And when the clouds won't iron out” and a small icon of clouds. It then fades to a gif of Sokka steering the airship slice from Sozin's Comet, Part 3: Into the Inferno; there is a smaller circular gif of him smiling in his Warrior outfit (after Hakoda says he is the proudest father in the world), from Sozin’s Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang. It is overlaid with the text “God, I hope that you're happier today.”
Image 4: A gif of Yon Rha standing over Kya, blended with a gif of young Katara looking terrified, both from The Southern Raiders. It is overlaid with the text “And the monsters creep into your house” and a small icon of a house. It then fades to a gif of Katara, unafraid, stopping the rain in place from The Southern Raiders; there is a smaller circular gif of her smiling, teary-eyed as she touches her mother’s necklace (after Hakoda says Kya would be proud), from Sozin’s Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang. It is overlaid with the text “'Cause I love you.”
Image 5: A gif of Toph’s hand pushing open a door, blended with a gif of Toph taking a deep breath and looking nervous (as she readies herself to see her mother again, not knowing that she is about to be captured by Xin Fu and Master Yu), both from The Earth King. It is overlaid with the text “And every door is hard to close” and a small icon of a doorway. It then fades to a gif of Toph bending (to trap Xin Fu and Master Yu after escaping their metal prison), from The Guru; there is a smaller circular gif of her smiling and cheering, from Sozin’s Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang. It is overlaid with the text “And I hope that you're okay.”

who's your favourite guest, favourite episode and favourite [lie]?
Ooh! Great questions. Hmmm... This is gonna be a lump of text so I'll pop it under a read-more. And I'd love to hear what others would pick as their favourites! :) I encourage you to reblog with your answers.
Oof, forcing me to narrow it down... My top three guests are Jon Richardson, Victoria Coren Mitchell, and Claudia Winkleman. If I had the golden ticket of putting one of those three on series 16, no questions asked, it would be Victoria.
I... also have too many favourite episodes.
10x6 for Rhod's unusual hand, Claudia's animals, Jamie setting fire to a sauna, and the unadulterated insanity of This is My. 12x3 for the Lee's hang-glider, Olivia's puppet, Jon's guitar teacher, and the underground pingpong ring. 13x2 because it got four clips for Unseen Bits. It would be cheating, though, since so many of my favourite bits were cut. Overall, 10x6, I would say.
My favourite lie is a clever question, since so many iconic clips are incredible because they turn out to be true.
Any lie of Lee/Bob/Claudia, Frankie's "I have written and published a book of love poetry" and Russell's "I got picked on at school because my mother was the dancer in the titles of Tales of the Unexpected" are two personal favourites.
Still.
I don't think anything will ever outdo Lee Mack and the royal wedding.
My two favourite things about WILTY are the chemistry between Rob, Lee, and David, and the psychological mind games inherent to the format.
That clip is just... the point where it all comes to its peak. Weirdly, the wardrobe is one of my favourite elements of the clip--that Rob and David are both 'dressed' and Lee's sitting there giggling in a t-shirt and looking like he hasn't shaved. It just adds so many layers of *chef's kiss*. And when Lee reads the card, David's laugh has... just that slight edge of fear that you can hear when he reacts to Bob Mortimer sometimes. Perfection.
You know it's a good lie when there are still theories it was ultimately true.

The Character Forge: How to Play as Link in DnD 5e
Tumblr media
Link is without a doubt one of the most iconic heroes in fiction, which is why I’m excited to work on this build of Link. Now, of course Link has a long history of games where he’s had a wide variety of skills and abilities. So, for this build, I wanted to focus on his most recurring skills and items, and try to find DnD items with similar effects, if possible, to fill out his arsenal. Link is a multi-talented young man who has a talent for many skills, weapons, and items. He’s extremely flexible in what he can work with, and that was a primary focus of this build: to broaden his abilities as much as I could.
Tumblr media
The Makings of a Hero
Hylians are clearly some kind of elf. You could make Link a Human or Variant Human if you want, but if it looks like an elf and it hyaas like an elf, chances are it’s an elf. There are a lot of kinds of elf he could be. Hylians are closely connected to the gods and think highly of themselves, so High Elf is a strong possibility. But Link is also something of a wilderness expert, so he could be a Wood Elf too.
Link is clearly good, but where on the goodness scale is a little less clear. He is a champion for goodness and light, so he could be Lawful Good, but he’s also jokingly famous for breaking into random houses and smashing random pots to steal people’s hidden money, so he could fall under Chaotic Good. And that divide could also make him Neutral Good.
As for background, that also tends to differ between game. Sometimes he’s a simple villager, a rancher, a farmer, a knight, an amnesiac foreigner. He’s so inconsistent that it’s better to just give him a background that covers the skills he doesn’t pick up from his build. Top contenders for Link’s background would be Outlander, Knight of the Order, Soldier, Far Traveler, and Folk Hero.

Stats & Proficiencies
Honestly, Link was hard to stat balance at first. I figured his best stat should be Constitution to correlate with a late-game number of heart containers. Link needs to be able to take a serious hit, and he spends most of the game getting a bigger health bar for just that very reason. Aside from Constitution, nothing really stood out as more important, though Intelligence and Charisma can get the shaft a bit, as Intelligence covers mostly book-learning which Link isn’t really known for, and largely in part to being a mute, aside from dancing in the Subrosia dance hall or playing his Ocarina, Link isn’t exactly great with Charisma-based skills. That’s not to say he’s really bad at anything, though. Link is a real Renaissance Man, as he’s good pretty much everything. Which means he shouldn’t have any negative modifiers. But Link is also not the pinnacle of strength, durability, or insightfulness. He needs items to perform feats of great strength, speed, or stamina, and wouldn’t get very far without them, so he’s also not going to be the max in any of his stats either. Rather, he’s going to be competent in Intelligence and Charisma, and fairly good at everything else.
Proficiencies:      Acrobatics      Animal Handling      Athletics      Insight      Investigation      Nature      Perception      Stealth      Survival

You gain advantage against that creature and add the roll of your superiority die to your attack damage if you hit the target creature.      Parry: As a reaction, reduce melee damage you take by your dex modifier + the roll of a superiority die.      Precision Attack: add the roll of a superiority die to the damage roll of a melee attack you made.      Riposte: When an enemy’s attack misses you, you can make a counter attack, and add the roll of a superiority die.      Sweeping Attack: Use a superiority die to cause your melee attack to hit a second creature within 5 feet of your first target. Add your superiority dice roll.      Trip Attack: Use a superiority die to force a large or smaller creature to make a Strength saving throw. on a failed save, that creature is knocked prone. Gain advantage on Survival checks to track Monstrosities and Fiends, and Intelligence checks to remember information about them.      Fey Ancestry: Resistance to Charmed effects, immunity to magical sleep.      Hunter’s Sense: As an action, choose a creature within 60 feet. You learn the creature’s damage immunities, resistances, and vulnerabilities. Can be used 3 times per long rest.      Improved Combat Superiority: Your superiority die become 1d10s.      Indomitable: Reroll a failed save once per long rest.      Insightful Fighting: As a bonus action, make an Insight check against another creature’s Deception check. If you succeed, you can use Sneak Attack against the creature even without advantage for up to a minute. Doesn’t work if you’re disadvantaged. Wears off if you target a new creature with this feature.      Know Your Enemy: If you spend at least 1 minute outside of battle observing a creature, the DM will tell you whether the creature is superior, inferior, or equal to you in any 2 of the following stats: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, AC, Current HP, Total Class Levels, or Fighter Class Levels.      Natural Explorer: Favored Terrains are Grasslands and Forests. While in your favored terrains: double proficiency bonuses for INT and WIS checks you’re proficient in, difficult terrain doesn’t slow your party down, always alert for danger, can move stealthily at a normal pace when traveling alone, find double food when foraging, and when tracking anything, you can tell how big they were, how many there were, and how long ago they passed through.      Sharpshooter: Attacking from long range doesn’t disadvantage ranged attack rolls, ranged weapon attacks ignore half and 3/4 cover, and you can -5 on a ranged weapon attack roll to add +10 to the damage roll on a successful hit.      Slayer’s Prey: As a bonus action, pick a creature within 60 feet of you. Add 1d6 damage to the first attack you make against that creature.      Sneak Attack: Add 2d6 to damage roll when you have advantage, or another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it.      Thieves’ Cant: You can articulate covert messages in casual conversations.      Trance: Trance for 4 hours instead of sleeping for 8.      Wanderer: You have an excellent memory for terrain and don’t need a map. You can remember where to find settlements, foraging spots, and geographical landmarks. You can always find enough food and water to sustain yourself and up to 5 more people provided the land can provide food and drinkable water.
Tumblr media
I’m sure there’s some who will disagree with my picks, but I optimized a build around looking for enemy weaknesses, having a ton of proficiencies, and having a wide and varied arsenal of weapons at Link’s disposal. If you’d build Link another way, tell me what you’d do different. Who do you want to see me make next? And as always, I look forward to seeing you again at the Character Forge, where heroes are made.

Ever since its release back in 2017, Fortnite—more specifically its Battle Royale mode—has continued to be an undeniable hit. Not only has the game maintained a massive playerbase while raking in plenty of cash, but it has also persisted as a staple of today's pop culture.
Fortnite isn't just a part of pop culture—it plays off of every other facet of it as well by the way of in-game collaborations. Recently, Fortnite has been all across the map in that regard, with characters such as Kratos from God of War, skins from the Terminator franchise, and even the Mandalorian himself—alongside an ingame location based on the famous Star Wars cantina.
Usually, these collaborations are just simple skins or additions of small, neat details to the game's map. However, for the fourth season of the game's second chapter, Fortnite went all in with an entire season based around Marvel which culminated in a massive in-game event where players went up against Galactus himself.
Even though that season has long been concluded, it looks like Fortnite still plans on injecting that Marvel spirit into their game even further.
LOKI HOPS ON THE FORTNITE BATTLE BUS
Thanks to the patch notes of an upcoming update for Fortnite, it has been teased that Tom Hiddleston's Loki will be coming to the game at some point in the near future.
Tumblr media
Above is the loading screen that was revealed within the patch notes. If you look closely, you can see a familiar Marvel silhouette.
Tumblr media
Taking a closer look at the loading screen, there are actually two shadows that look awfully familiar to any Marvel fans out there.
Tumblr media
On the left, Tom Hiddleston's Loki can be seen clear as day. Though there definitely seems to have been some liberties taken with the design of his iconic staff.
Tumblr media
On the right, there is a silhouette that looks eerily like Chris Hemsworth's Thor. Though not as clear-cut as Loki, Thor's addition wouldn't be all that surprising—yes, even if Thor has already gotten one skin in the Fortnite universe.
LOKI IS HERE TO PLAY
Loki's addition to the game isn't surprising at all. With how much the game likes to collaborate with current pop culture events, Loki's upcoming premiere on Disney+ is a perfect opportunity for them to do so.
It is questionable as to why Loki's show gets this honor. Neither WandaVision nor The Falcon and the Winter Soldier got that opportunity despite the potential for plenty of skins from both of those series that fans would surely love to utilize. Just look at Sam Wilson's Captain America for example, who could have his own built-in vibranium glider if he were incorporated into the game.
The God of Mischief's inclusion could also be an attempt to tease the potential upcoming theme for Chapter 7 of Fortnite, which, according to the same patch notes, seems to hint at Aliens. If true, maybe Fortnite could be getting Skrulls in the near future. Imagine having in-game emotes that turn you into other skins with a button press. Sounds like Fortnite has a golden opportunity waiting to be taken.

Nitpicking Articles About Flash Rogues
Here’s some mistakes I found in Internet articles about the Rogues.
Article #1:
1. The Rogues did not make their first appearance in Flash #130.
Tumblr media
It’s an understandable mistake, given that five of them are on the cover, but really the only Rogue to do anything of note was the Mirror Master. The other Rogues’ appearances were just Mirror Master’s lawyer (whom he hypnotized) impersonating them. Their actual first appearance as a group was Flash #155.
2. This one is really minor, but it’s Heat Wave, not Heatwave.
3. I think it’s a bit misleading to say that Captain Cold is the most powerful of the Rogues. He is powerful, no doubt, but Mirror Master and Weather Wizard have a considerably broader and more versatile range of powers than he does. Pied Piper and the Top are probably also more powerful than he is.
4. This is another minor mistake, but the party in Flash Vol.2 #19 was celebrating Captain Cold’s release from the Suicide Squad, not really his retirement.
Article #2:
1. I wouldn’t describe the Rainbow Raider as the least powerful of the Rogues. He’s a bit of a doofus, but his ability to manipulate both light and emotions is quite impressive and would be an extremely potent weapon in the hands of someone other than Roy. By the logic this list is using, Weather Wizard should be much lower on the list than he is. While he uses his powers more effectively than Roy usually does, he doesn’t use his powers to nearly the extent that he could if he put more effort into them.
2.  There is NO WAY that Roscoe should be listed as the second least powerful Rogue. He’s not just a master inventor who created an atomic bomb all by himself, he’s a telekinetic telepath with super speed who can also return from the dead via possession. Surely he should at least crack the top ten.
3. Being a contortionist is impressive. Not sure how it makes Ragdoll more powerful than Roy or Roscoe, though.
4. Golden Glider is confusing; I’d accept her being ranked fairly low in terms of raw power if we were just looking at her Pre-Flashpoint self. But since the picture of her is from the New 52, when she gained the power of astral projection. With that power, she seems like she should be a bit higher on the list than #17.
5. “Still, she makes the list for being an iconic villain who, when partnered with her protective older brother, turned out to be fairly competent all things considered.” Lisa was competent all on her own, thank you very much.
6. Considering Piper has canonically blown up a planet with his flute, #16 seems quite low. Even if we disregard that feat because it was from Countdown, he’s still pulled off some really impressive feats that makes me feel like he should be a lot further up the list.
7. “His powers are pretty insane considering their potential for assassinations and surprise attacks, but he ranks fairly low on the list because he can’t really stay a villain long enough to be effective.” This list isn’t ranking the most dangerous villains, just the most powerful ones. Reforming doesn’t make him less powerful!
8. I really like James, and his inventing prowess shouldn’t be understated. That being said, there is NO WAY he’s more powerful than post-Flashpoint Lisa, Hartley, or Roscoe. He’s probably not even as powerful as Roy!
9. “After being tricked into helping the demon Neron and smooth talking his way out of hell, the Trickster fully succumbed to psychosis, becoming a goofy, rambling personality, accentuated by being brainwashed by the Top.” ????? When did this happen? What are you talking about, article?
10. “After getting his nose broken three times in the course of a day by Batwoman, Deathstroke, and Batman, Trickster sacrificed himself to save Piper. And how did Piper thank him? By dragging his body through the desert before finally cutting the hand off his corpse.” What was Piper supposed to do? He was on the run from people who wanted to kill him and he almost died!
11. #14 seems like an appropriate slot for Cicada, all things considered. I’m still pretty sure he’s not more powerful than Roscoe or Piper, though.
12. Double Down should not be higher on the list than Roscoe or Roy or Piper (or Trickster or Lisa or Cicada, for that matter.)
13. Capt. Boomerang is a talented, skilled fighter. That being said, he is not more powerful than Roscoe. Or Piper. Or Roy. Or even James and Lisa, really.
14. Heat Wave as number 11 is fine. I still don’ t think he should be higher than Roscoe or Piper, though.
15. “Wow, the character Heat Wave has not aged well. So much so that the CW’s Arrowverse has actively kept the character from having any perceivable depth because the little intrigue there is to mine from him is from a bygone era best left in the past.” ???? Stop being mean to Mick, article. He’s a great character!
16. Magenta as #10 is fine. In fact, I would be okay with her being a little higher, all things considered.
17. “Long after breaking up with Wally West, Frankie Kane developed her magnetic powers quite suddenly and accidentally killed her entire family as a result. Understandably confused and terrified, she was quickly folded into Cicada’s cult where she became a lieutenant with the moniker, Magenta.” Frances’ powers developed before she even started dating Wally, let alone before she broke up with him. Also, it wasn’t like she immediately joined Cicada’s cult after Wally’s broke up with her. There was like a decade that passed between those two events, and Frances made several appearances in the intervening years. She also didn’t get her code name from Cicada.
18. WHY IS ABRA KADABRA ONLY AT #9????
19. “Originally debuting under the moniker of Mister Element, Albert Desmond adopted his better-known name after finding the legendary Philosopher’s Stone and gained the ability to transmute materials. The problem was that Albert Desmond wasn’t actually Doctor Alchemist and never was. Turns out the entire time he was a villain, it was as an alternate personality called Alvin Desmond, who is also his celestial, astral twin. And if the concept of a split-personality metahuman who can turn one substance into another with a fantastic macguffin sounds familiar, it’s because Doctor Alchemy is basically Firestorm except as a disheveled gremlin of a villain.Though that’s fairly impressive in its own right, but his true claim to fame actually comes from the CW Flash show, where he was played by Harry Potter’s Tom Felton and reimagined as psychic entity that remembered the Flashpoint timeline that Barry had accidentally created. His power was updated from simple transmutation to metaphysically crossing timestreams, allowing him to grant super human abilities to people who had them in Flashpoint, including the CW version of Wally West. Though he’s ultimately put down by a coalition of Flash’s crew, the ability to transcend time itself basically made him a veritable god. Pity only the CW could see the character’s potential for it.” No, article. Just no. First, CW Alchemy was considerably more boring than his comic counterpart. And he’s not Dr. Alchemist, he’s Dr. Alchemy! (That being said, Dr. Alchemy deserves to at least be at #8 on the list, so I don’t really have a problem with his ranking.) They also don’t describe the Albert/Alvin situation quite right, but that’s really confusing, so I can’t really blame them for that.
20. “Well part of it is that his main goal hasn’t changed much since his first appearance: to devolve humanity back into apes, no doubt a novelty in the early '60s, but kinda boring today. The other reason? Turns out that Grodd has failed in this endeavor at least 18 times, a failing record among Flash’s villains.” How many comics with Grodd in them has the writer of this article actually read? Because I can think of at least four storylines off the top of my head where Grodd has a goal other than turning people into gorillas. Also, the fact that he’s failed in his attempts to do this doesn’t make him any less powerful; Joker and Lex Luthor also fail in most of their schemes. It’s what comes of being a comic book villains. That being said, Grodd being #7 on the list is appropriate (although I might personally rank him a bit higher.)
21. Captain Cold is cool. I like him a lot. But even if we give him his New 52 ice powers, does he really deserve to be #6 on the list? Also, there’s no way he’s more powerful than Abra Kadabra, Dr. Alchemy, or Grodd. Or the Top.
22. No complaints with the Mirror Masters collectively sharing the #5 spot, or with Shade being at #4.
23. Weather Wizard is really powerful; him being in the #3 slot isn’t too inappropriate. Though I’m not sure if he’s really more powerful than Abra Kadabra (who should really have been much higher than #9).
24. Why is Godspeed specifically at #2? True, he’s a speedster, and speedsters are VERY powerful, but there are a number of other villains with super speed who I think are faster than he is. I also would argue that he might be less powerful than Abra Kadabra, Shade, the Weather Wizard, and the Mirror Masters, given that he’s not really all that experienced with his powers.
25. Eobard Thawne is really, really, REALLY powerful. I would argue that Abra Kadabra might be more powerful than he is, but otherwise he definitely outclasses the other villains on this list.
26. And where’s Hunter Zolomon, anyway? He should definitely be on this list, and no lower than #2.

If Bombshells ever returned, maybe to explore the aftereffects of the war. Here are some superheroines and supervillainesses that could join the fight into the new era. The Cold War.
Jesse Quick; Jesse would totally join the families providing their homes to the displaced Jews of Europe while at the same time protecting her city from all sorts of crime. But her storyline might come with learning that in her need to help everyone and solving everyone's problems since she has the technology and the privlege, well... kinda appears as a white savior. At least to Lisa Snart which brings me to...
Golden Glider: Well I think we can all guess that Lisa has a Jewish-like last name and while her big bro, Captain Cold, Leonard was working with the Nazis, I am so arguing that he was just conveinately converting in order to save his skin and his sister's. Anyway with her brother in jail and Europe in shambles after the war, Lisa can travel to America with other displaced Jews. Some families were kind enough to "foster" these peoples which is where Jesse comes in. Well Lisa isn't the type to accept the "pity" and dislikes how priviliged a life, Jesse leads. Then comes a whole new yet classic Flash vs the Rogues rivalry.
Nyssa ah Gul: How can we forget another misplaced Jew. Well not Jew but Ra ah Gul's other daughter, Nyssa, whose entire adopted family died in the concentration camps while Ra was off whatevering with the Lazerus Pit. But since Ra's long gone from the picture, I suppose Nyssa will have to seek answers from Talia about why she didn't try to help her or contact her after finding out they were sisters.
Mya: Meanwhile after WWII, India is revving up for a revolution after being used and abused by the British Empire in a war they didn't even want to be in. And after being in the war, STILL treated like second class citizens. That's why Myra, prodigy of Shiva is up to lead a revolution for her people.
Gypsy: Let’s not forget about all the other groups that Nazis were prejudiced against. Cynthia Reynolds or "Gypsy" as the SS slurred against her and her Romanian family. But with Europe's landscape in disarray, Cynthia can use her earth-bending powers to help and educate people that she is more than the fortune telling, pick pocketing stereotype that the world believes.
Volcana: Now I know we didn't really get into Italy's part in WWII, but someone with volcano powers would totally be working in Italy, specifically Pompeii. The one issue is that, like in her origin story, she was working for Mussolini against her will and the Italian still wants their "super weapon" under lock and key in case of WWIII.
Thorn: Meanwhile the late 40s-early 50s is totally not a time to be woman with a mental illness. Especially when the "understanding" doctors try to lobtomize you. So Roselyn Forrest's double personality disorder is a big problem in her life. Especially since her second personality is a scythe weilding maniac and her uncle wants to put her in an institution. Added to the fact that she is still suffering under Irish discrimination. Hopefully the Batgirls can help, not only change child labor laws, but views on mental illness too.  Giganta: A gorilla turned into a girl. Why shouldn't that be an experiment by the crazy Americans or Russians in a way to beat each other as the world superpower. Well technically the Russians wanted to send a gorilla into space and beat the Americans, but they thought a woman astronaut (or as they called cosmonaut) would make them look better. (All true look up Valentina , first woman in space). But besides being part of the space race, Giganta can bring spotlight to Africa where she was born, and which is being divided by the major world powers for exploitation.
Crimson Fox: Constance D' Amis, French heiress would be part of the small army of woman workers during the YALTA conferance trying to get their say into how to rebuild Europe for the benefit of all. Who knows, maybe she even talked to Selina Delgatti. Hey French heiresses and Italian heiresses must know each other. Plus she expels hormones that can make anyone under her thrall which leads me to...
Queen Bee: Another pheromone expelling woman. A villainess though. Africa wasn't the only one being exploited and colonized. The former Ottoman Empire was being exploited for its oil and Lebenon is taken over by the French (Basically ample reason for Constance to go to Lebenon and fight Queen Bee). And the former queen is certainly not above going to the Russians to fight the US/Europe to get her country back. Or just team up with Lex Luthor to take down Supergirl and get her country back. I just imagine Lex and --- to be like an evil Mr.Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet okay. All suave, witty banter. It makes sense in my head.
Catherine Colbert: A bit like Lois Lane, Catherine is an everygirl. Well if the everygirl was a daughter of an dimplomat and had her sights on making a name for herself in NASA and trying to avoid the pressures of mysgonistic men that woman aren't fit for government. Being told that she is too emotional and should stay in the kicthen, Catherine rebelled by becoming a stone faced, cutting ice queen in the diplomacy track and also a horrible cook. Artemis and Cheshire: I'm taking a bit from the YJ story in that Artemis and Cheshire are half-french, half-Vietnamese. Since their abusive father was loyal to the Nazis, he disowned them and cast off their Vietnamese mother in Japanese concentration camps. While Artemis made it to America and tried to stay on the good ol American democratic way (while fighting petty looters in the streets of Gotham as one does), Cheshire went to Vietnam where she works as an assasin, for the communists and the non-communists. It doesn't matter to her as long as she gets paid. But times are changing in Vietnam as the fights about communism between the North Vietnamese and South escalate.
Lady Blackhawk: Zinda Blake, hero of WWII and the Blackhawk brigade comes home to nothing. No money. No pension. No respect. Life as a veteran has no perks since no one has money to pay in Europe. Plus she'd still be trying to adjust to civilian life after nonstop combat and the inevitable PTSD while the Germany she loved is split into two. Hopefully Rudi and Helen will help to keep her in a safe place until she can get back on her feet.  Miss Martian: While I don't know whose in Harley, Ivy and Viktoria's circus, I feel like Miss Martian would find a safe haven there. While she did not experience the WWII, she did experience a similar prejudice and genocide on Mars being a white martian so I bet she can help with reprations. Or just join Starfire on the fire squad...wait nevermind. Fire is Martian weakness. Well at least have her and Starfire being alien girlfriends exploring the strange Earth world together.
Rocket: Again, haven't had the joy of reading the final vol of Bombshells United so I don't know exactly what Bumblebee has been up to nor the racism she had probably experienced. But Raquel would be in a similar boat. An African American teen in an unjust pre-Civil Rights movement society with the added difficulties of teen mom hood. I really want some spotlight on her whether she joins the Batgirls or strike out on her own or helps Icon just like in the comics.
Mercy Graves: Alongside Lex wherever he is, I want a similar debut to what Mercy did in JL. Mercy takes over LexCorps during Luthor's absence, absolutely crushes it and makes it more of a success than Luthor ever did because she is not obsessed with the Kryptonian heroes. Maybe she even teams up with Waller? Who knows? Or even have two heads, Mercy Graves and Lena Luthor, making millions and making plans, evil or no, always ending on top.
Silver Banshee: A woman whose screams causes people to age. How they could NOT use her in a war, I do not know. But I picture Siobhan's arc going something like after her family dies in battle or something or other, she taps into her genetic banshee powers. Fueled with grief/cynicsm/vengeance she travels around the Iron Curtain, causing death since death is a mercy compared to living in destitute misery.
Plastique and Roxy Rocket: One is a Canadian explosives expert, another just really, really loves rockets. Both would be very useful on either side of the Cold War. They're traditionally illanesses so I could see them as double agents like Cheshire, working for whoever pays the most for their time.
Roulette: Roulette’s big thing is gambling on illegal cage fighting activities. Well lets up the ante by having her big gamble being stoking US/Russian tensions. After all the longer the war goes on, the more she gets paid for her information on the other side, her contacts for weapons, her spies etc. She'd be rolling in dough, and loving it even when under threat of nuclear destruction.
Fire and Ice: No idea how the heck they would fit in to a post WWII world. But let's suppose they want to escape Brazil and Antartica respectively to be able to help out in the aftermath after doing nothing during the war. Jessica Cruz and Aresia vs Star Sapphire Meanwhile with Hal Jordan out of the picture, let's have the infamous Green Lantern vs Star Sapphire rivalry again.
Lady Shiva: Street fighter, assassin, mother of the future Batwoman, Cassandra Cain. Lady Shiva must be part of the Cold War. She is bit of a anti-hero so I doubt anyone would know where her loyalties truly lie, but she'd be on the side of whoever her daughter wishes to protect.
Cassandra Cain: The new Black Bat, continue Katy Kane's work, and the Batgirl's work, and all the work that needs to be done after WWII. She's the new heroine.
