Hot maintenance man came up to me and Bailey while walking this morning and asked if everything is okay in the apartment now and I told him it was but I just woke up and the bathroom ceiling is leaking again so he was like “put the request in and I’ll come take care of it.” WHY DO I HAVE TO WORK OUTSIDE IN THE WORLD TODAY????

My once boring white bathroom is now a vivid pistachio green, and I really wished when I painted it last summer that I was able to paint the door frame and skirting boards to match, and create a more seamless look. But I couldn’t because they were already done with a white gloss paint, and the paint I bought wouldn’t paint over it. And I was already too knackered to sand it all down… orz
But now I’m glad because it means I can sand it all later in the summer—when I’m doing my wooden windows that need re-lacquering—and paint the bathroom accents instead a gaudy gold~
