Pumpkin Knight Idia is one of my defaults even not around Halloween!! Unsurprisingly as sawluvr199x and my love for horror as a whole, I’ve grown up with Halloween being my family’s biggest holiday of the year. I think it suits her and also her gushing about 80s horror in the vignette made me Feel Things.

BG rn is mostly a holdover until playful land’s out for the music LOL

My self insert actually isn’t Yuu, but a Pomefiore student!! I mentioned a day or two ago that I didn’t really like Yuu as a character at all until I read Octa manga and used Yuuta as my Yuu. That being said, he seems way too nice to ban anyone and would inversely invite them in for a meal LMAO.

As for me, Drac Draconia Octahyde… well Grim is part of the deal so I can’t ban him. Probably Rook. He isn’t my least favorite character and I actually like how absolutely fucking insane he is. But also I do not want him anywhere near me because of how fucking insane he is. My qpp has had nightmares of walking through the city at night and a bus passes him and Rook is in the back window. Staring straight at him. Standing and unmoving. We’re both really obsessed with it.

28. a song you'd recommend to your favorite character?

OHHH IDIA�� MY WONDERFUL EMO WIFE. There are a LOT of songs I connect to her (I literally had an idea for an entire series of 17 pieces based on her and every single Black Parade song.)

I think my biggest one is ironically not an MCR song. So Much for Stardust by FOB is a song I very very deeply relate to, and I feel like it really captures her grief with the death of Phantom Ortho.

Another big one is Cemetery Drive by MCR, again one I deeply relate to and one that definitely encompasses Idia’s grieving.

Also like, I can’t NOT post Black Parade songs after mentioning it, so I’ll say This Is How I Disappear because of how encompassing it is of despair and loss, and also Kill All Your Friends because it’s about the anger and isolation when you have CTPSD and nobody around you understands. Also it’s my favorite song on the album when I’m forced to pick one and it goes so fucking hard.

1). Gonzalo kinda sounds like the singer in Dance With Me (Topline Addicts), but only that song in specific for some reason?? Michele sounds like Snufkin in the English dub (I dont even watch Moominvalley, I just saw a clip once and thought "yeah that's my daughter"). I haven't found Mika's exact voice irl yet, sadly.

3). Gonzalo is very Sucede/Desarraigo (by Extremoduro) coded, but I'd like to mention Everything She Wants (Wham!), High and Dry (Radiohead) and Lágrimas Desordenadas (Melendi). Very father of him for the most part, I like to think. He also likes all of those, by the way, Extremoduro and Radiohead are his favorite bands (GOD HE'S LIKE ME FR)

Mika depends on the time of his life, honestly, but I relate Using You (Mars Argo) and Cynical One (TV Girl) to him. There's more, though, I just don't want to yap too much.

14). I'm going to be very honest, DMC doesn't have enough characters for Michele to hate someone. However, she IS bitter about Fortuna as a whole because no one even tried to protect them as a child. Sure, it was supposed to be a secret, but giving him away that easily and never wondering where the kid went is... Interesting.

Adri hates Kimball AND Caesar, as she should, but that could apply to basically any Legion dude/NCR soldier. I don't think I've ever told you this, but Mika has beef with Leo's parents especially after Leo actually gets famous (basically because they didn't support their son enough and he was there to see it, and because I believe they'd be fake about it years after and Mika just wants to strangle them with a coat hanger) (he keeps it to himself but he calls his mom to talk 40 minutes worth of shit right after they leave lmao).

20). Michele has a sword (canon), Gonzalo technically owns a glock 22 because he's a cop but to me his canon weapon is his stupid little revolver in FNV, Becky likes energy weapons, Adri prefers dynamite and Mika doesn't fight or kill people but if he did he'd get an AK-47, I'm sorry.

as far as jack could tell, jervis was really out of it; and it made him wonder it was due to something that had happened while he was out with his father, or when they'd gotten here. perhaps both. jack gnawed on his bottom lip, his eyes darting to jervis's hands, which were flexing like he was struggling with something. an eyebrow rose as jack contemplated asking whether he needed some pain medication.

since he didn't receive an answer to his question yet, jack figured he might as well introduce himself. ❝ uhh, well, you don't have to talk to me if you aren't feeling up to it. my sister told me that you fainted in front of her out there — so, i understand if you're still feeling sick. my name is jack, ❞ he scratched at the back of his neck as he continued to observe jervis. whenever the man tried to get up, jack approached him and was about to caution jervis that maybe he shouldn't by lightly touching his shoulder.

but he remembered matilda telling him something about the other really not liking to be touched, so he merely was going to verbally tell him. up until jervis laid back down himself, anyhow. jack couldn't hold himself back from frowning at his poor present state before venturing out of the room with a 'i'll be right back.' and indeed he had been, with two different vials, alongside a few syringes to inject into that IV bag: should jervis want to be medicated. jack figured it'd be easier to just do that rather than forcing him to swallow anything.

he placed those also on the table before tilting his head at the quote jervis had said until it clicked a few seconds later, ❝ that's a quote from through the looking glass, isn't it? and one that the red queen said in the story if i remember correctly. she was basically teaching alice that staying in the same place is falling behind, right? ❞ jack squinted his eyes at that before a thought came to mind. a soft snort left him, but one that was done of an innocent sort of amusement rather than malice. ❝ that is a kind of roundabout way of talking about survival of the fittest. but hey, lewis carroll was all about the whimsy of things, i guess. and its no big deal. ❞

jack pretended not to see the tears that the other shed for jervis's own sake. the blood on his lips was something he couldn't ignore, no matter how hard he tried, though. jack grabbed a washcloth from his pack and held it out towards's jervis's hand. once it was out of his hand was when jack set down that teacup, the slightly too long stripped pants he wore swaying across the ground. ❝ mm, you and dad were both asleep for nearly four hours. sure — i don't think that's silly at all. i keep something on me all the time from when my brother, julien, was still around. ❞ the bracelet he showed the other on his right wrist then seemed to be made up entirely of tiny conch shells.

julien was a big fan of the sea, which jack thought made his death all the more crushing. after seeing the state that the stuffed animal was in, he figured that that bunny must've been really loved; though it didn't really matter by whom it was. the end result was the same, as love changes you. jack knew this well as he'd never wanted anything more than to be embraced by the warmth of it.

"Hey. Ahh, you're awake… That's awesome. How are you feeling?"

The new voice was barely a whisper, young and uncertain—belonging to a boy, maybe sixteen or eighteen by the timber. Was this another of Barton's assistants, a friend of Matilda’s, or perhaps her brother? Jervis couldn’t quite remember; hadn't Barton mentioned something about having more than one child?

He winced, his body feeling heavy, leaden; aching everywhere. Slowly, he exhaled and tried to push himself upright—tried being the keyword. The effort brought only a wave of vertigo, dizzying and blue-hot, making his vision swim.

… ohh, god…

He swallowed thickly, curling into himself. Something wasn’t right. His glasses and gloves weren’t the only thing missing. He was in his socks, jeans, and a now damp charcoal t-shirt, his body slick with cold sweat. His graying auburn curls clung to his neck in tangled ropes. His boots were beside the cot, his messenger bag on a desk across the room. His overcoat and maroon button-down were draped over a chair.

A flicker of discomfort in his right arm. Burning. Tugging.

Jervis glanced down at the source: a plastic tube. A peripheral IV catheter.

"Ah, you know... 'It takes all the running you can do, to stay in the same place,'" he muttered, his voice clipped and hollow; Bermudian accent casual, almost detached. He turned his eyes to the boy; offered him a faint, strained smile. "Keeps things interesting, I suppose... but I appreciate your concern, lad."

He lifted his fingers to his cheek, feeling the moisture trickle down—salt on his lips. Tears, sharp and stinging. Jervis flinched and quickly scrubbed them away with the heels of his hands.

Cold metal pressed into his spine, tight around his neck—the chain with his and Sylvie’s wedding rings twisted against his skin. He must’ve been thrashing in his sleep. There was blood on his lips.

"Forgive me…" His vision swam as he watched the boy set a teacup on the small table beside the cot, just within view. "But I'm afraid I've rather lost my sense of time. How long has it been since I…?" He paused, his voice barely steady. "... if... if you don’t mind, could you please reach into my coat pocket? You'll find a small cuddly toy. A rabbit..." He rubbed his mouth, lowered his eyes. "It sounds foolish, I know... but it... it was my daughter's, you see..."

The boy nodded, moving quickly to retrieve the toy from Jervis’ coat pocket, and placed it on the table beside the teacup. The bunny was missing one of its button eyes, its white fur faded and matted. A pink satin ribbon around its neck was frayed and tattered.

“Thank you,” Jervis said hoarsely. “I must have been out of it for quite a while.”

(imagine kronos dressed as eliza schuyler and we're set because luke essentially brings him to bed with them for half of their relationship and she doesn't know LMFAOOOOO) and well yeah yall know his decline after TLT but he's in too deep to fall back

The beginning part reminds me of the confrontation scene in 'love is a blister' where the counselors put Trouble on trial for loving Luke---the reality of it is they and everyone at camp only know what Luke & Trouble have shown them, but everything between them is private and their own. They didn't expect him to leave her behind. There are a lot of references throughout the series and especially in 'solipsism' where his last time alive as his waning sense of self he goes to visit Trouble who's fresh from visiting Annie in 'love is a blister' and he literally is burning through his old self as kronos overtakes his body. He couldn't imagine not being able to say goodbye before becoming true vessel and well in TLO, teeeechnically what happens and what i plan to write i--[GUNSHOTS]

Going more deeply with my interest on musical comedians (since it's actually a pretty big term lmao), most of my interest goes to stand up musical comedians, those who are still on stage and off, like Bo Burnham, Tim Minchin, Tom Lehrer, Garfunkel and Oates, etc. But most of my interest goes to Bo Burnham and Tim Minchin, I can't physically be normal about them at all. I'm also in love with other works besides comedy some of them make or have been involved in, like movies and other projects. I LOVE Eighth Grade, Upright, Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous, and many others.

I also love writing little simple analysis of some characters and even scenes I love, even if most of them I do not end up posting bc I either didn't like how I phrased it or I just think it could be way better (or maybe it's just too stupid). Something I find fun to overanalyze are the most unimportant shit to the lore in general, I like to think about the specifics of even one singular character, even if it doesn't change much about the lore of Hatchetfield as in general. I love every single little detail there is. (and by little I mean LITTLE. like, hey, did you know that during Feast Or Famine, Tom does the ‘Squee squee’ motion like this emoji🤌?? THAT KIND OF LITTLE DETAIL I MEAN.)

UEFA High by maxevader / @liverpool-enjoyer (i feel like anyone who hasn’t read this is living under a rock sekskjdbd but i gotta mention it anyway cause i adore it) it’s a high school au, literally EVERYONE is in it. well not everyone but,,, a lot. theres a load of different ships (i came for müllendowski ofc but im kinda pulling for alisson/vvd rn they’re really cute i’m rooting for them) and some really sweet friendships too (thomas & manu, robbo & trent, gavi & pedri are my favourites) honestly i don’t wanna spoil it just go in blind if u haven’t read it already cause it’s so so worth it, it’s so funny and so sweet and also very relatable and ughhhhh man i could talk abt it forever

while we’re at it i want to be loved (not to be touched) (also by maxevader) is also really fucking good, it’s gavi-centric, very angsty, SO well-written, the stars aligned or some shit and i read it at exactly the right moment in my life and it made me cry a bit (a lot)

how long could we be a sad song? by moonwedes / @tchouameninga, it’s a suuuuper super angsty müllendowski fic about lewy’s decision to leave bayern and what led up to it. the writing is incredible n it made me so fucking sad. i cannot recommend this one enough it is SO good, just. man the characterisation and the little details and how inevitable and tragic it feels,,, ughhh it’s amazing

Another Plane of Shambles by fipsareyougay,,, again i kinda feel like anyone who likes my fics has probably read this already cause it’s like. THE bayern/german nt fic lmao sorry. but i gotta mention it anyway cause it’s one of my favourite fics ever. it’s like 600k words and kinda intimidating to get into cause theres like a million characters and ships and subplots but it is so. so fucking good. off the top of my head the main ships are neuller, mesut/sami, schweinski, götzeus, toni/jonas hector (random ahh ship but it works lmao), leno/ter stegen, but there’s like 183737 other ships too. it’s hilarious but also like,, really really sad. like EVERYONE is going through it, it gets quite dark sometimes. also it’s not finished lmao like i don’t think it’s been updated for like a year at this point, but.. i honestly don’t think it matters?? like it’s so fucking good as it is i fr don’t mind if its not updated, whats there is enough (for me at least). its SUCH an experience i love it so much and i will recommend it to literally everyone, whether ur a german nt fan or not

domestic pressures by fivesecrets is also really REALLY fuckin good. the main ship is lewy/b**teng, which… yeah it’s not a ship i like for… obvious reasons lol but this fic is so well-written that i just can’t not include it. id actually feel bad if i didnt include it cause the writing is so SO fucking good,, i don’t think i’ve read any of this author’s other fics now that i think of it, but i really should. i feel so inadequate every time i think about this fic cause the writing is just that good. like,, the prose. if i ever write something as beautifully as this its all over for u bitches. it also has bravertz as a background ship which i LOVE. (SIDE NOTE DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY MORE BRAVERTZ RECS PLS I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER 👉👈)

one of my all-time favourite fics is Lunar by Redbull_gave_me_wings. (this is the fic that made me finally decide to start properly writing n posting instead of just writing random paragraphs in my notes app. so i’ll love it forever for that reason alone) i don’t rlly know how to explain this one lmao it’s kinda complicated, it’s… basically a werewolf au?? which seems really random for a football fic lmao but it works. i adore this fic. just,, the characterisation and the world-building and the memories i have of reading it (spring 2022 when i was supposed to be studying for my leaving cert lmao) and the relationship between the 3 main characters (thomas, lewy and marco, müllendowski are an established relationship and theres also kinda hints of götzeus if you squint??) i just love the story, all the side characters, the world and the lore,,,, dldkdkdj i need to reread it omg

life update i guess. i feel like i got through the boy ep mania early with the close my eyes release (at least i'm hoping with the rest of it i can just. grieve and have hope all at once. i know the vibe of what's coming and i really need that in my life).

anyway, gonna try share more of the personal 'so this is what it meant to me' rather than 'this is what it means imo' sometimes, take the spotlight away from our beloved band members and their personal lives and into the listener experience--because i always have a hunch we have more in common than not as a fandom. i listen to a lot of music but i'm here blogging on tumblr about these guys because nothing unravels what's in my head like a 5sos song. which is why i love playing around with them and looking at different angles musically and lyrically!

right now, my bird is unwell and i'm literally so anxious all the time because of his health. and i know i need to slow down and also grieve lost futures etc (is it true if you're feeling anxiety it's a sign you need to grieve? or is that a myth idk) in order to best be there for him, and try show up well at my job etc too if only just so i can afford the vet bills. realising how much it's impacting me and life's not always like this and it won't be forever, but it's actually the most perfect time to be getting a new luke album (and ttpd, but we don't talk about her bc Boycott Things. i'm also rediscovering mistaken identity by delta goodrem which i do every 10yrs or so).

i'm also processing the whole religious trauma/ministry burnout thing. i know it's not a common thing to experience in my early 20s but i was a volunteer youth pastor for 3 years, in which i cared for a lot of people, saw a lot of pain, and wasn't really able to do everything and create the healing, freeing kind of connections I wanted, slowly realising not everyone goes to faith communities for these things and some are perfectly happy with the status quo. 5sos5 was the album that got me through the process of leaving that behind, and lately i've been thinking about making a little art moodboard comic thing with a slide for every song and what it means to me, bible verses related to that experience etc, and i hope i manage to prioritise doing that i think it'd be really good for me and when it's done i'll share it with you guys. make it pretty and visual and a story i can tell creatively to take back a little autonomy.

and then i'm also trying to walk my (asian, i'm half asian, and rn it's that side of the family that needs it most) through the process of discovering and accommodating neurodivergence. i'm lucky to be the one who has the resources to figure it out and so early in my life too, but it's hard to communicate between cultures and i'm so, so tired. there's so many feelings to navigate, everyone else's as well as my own. wfttwtaf has been really good for just helping process my feelings around that, but also actions, prompting me to imagine things from the kind of perspectives i need to, i don't know why it does this, but it does. the southeast asian inspo is minimal, but it's there enough for me to apply it to my life. and we're all trying to fight redefine the bloodline rn too.

i'm finding a lot of hope and optimism in finding myself as a musician through my orchestral arrangement of calm. inspired to keep chipping away at studying urban design through the city and place mentions of all their albums (as well as just the premise of somewhere new ep. i'm not really sure why). to figure out what it looks like to choose myself with superbloom. soothe my inner teen with sgfg, but process what was going on in leaving high school all those years ago (shut my eyes at 17, okay? i'm only just about to turn 23) with youngblood and trying to reclaim what's left of my youth inspired by the songs off self titled.

so i guess that's how it all relates to me. why i'm on here. and i know any projects i try to do are going to be slow rn bc i just have so much on, i'm trying to recover from burnout (board up my windows, tryna revive) and i'm so physically and mentally drained rn but this won't be forever. there's gonna be a nice, new equilibrium to come out of this and i hope soon. so thank you for being around while i gush about all these songs during this time!

I'm going to assume you know nothing about them just in case (and also since I know some songs are less good for casual use/can take a little warming up to :'3)

The gist of it is that it's a storytelling cabaret where every band member is in character as an immortal space pirates; as such, their albums are retellings of "actual events" they have "witnessed" during their travels in space.

I think I will put the rest under a Read More though because! I went off a bit! Sorry about that :'D

I recommend listening to their albums as they interest you to get the general gist of the stories. Once I got that, I added them to my shuffle playlist and listen to my faves - that way it's not confusing to me and I don't have to "suffer" through the other parts when I don't wanna listen to a whole concept album.

The "main" four albums all follow a similar structure of switching between narration/song, with varying amount of information relayed in the song (as in, sometimes it's just about a concept of the story, sometimes it's more akin to a musical piece where the story moves as well). The songs themselves are often based on various extant, mostly folk, songs (e.g. Bella Ciao, WW1 songs, and I can't think of any more rn because my brain is cooked).

If you want the cliff's notes version of these albums (none of which have a "happy" ending, so be aware of that going in):

Once Upon A Time (In Space): their first album, Grimm's fairy tales but it's about a space rebellion against an immortal, tyrannical king with an army of clones.

Ulysses Dies at Dawn: greek mythology but it's a noir cyberpunk planet-wide city. Contains (in my unbiased opinion lol) very good and interesting takes on how the setting would influence some of the myths we are familiar with today. Fair warning though: will contain references to the original material you might miss if you are unfamiliar with the OG characters, but it's still enjoyable

High Noon Over Camelot: Arthurian legend but it's a diesel-punk desert space station with bike-riding cowboys. SPECIAL MENTION TO THE MOST BANGER BANJO (again, in my opinion), specifically in Peacemaker. It's going wild in there.

The Bifrost Incident: Norse Mythology but told as a space-train noir mystery. Notable for not being narrated by an outer character, but actually told as a "recording" of the police officer investigating. Features a very good banjo in "Expert Testimony" (which is narration) (also the banjo is in a genre I like to call "bastard" because oh yeah, what is happening in-story is that a character is being A Bastard <3)

As for Tales to be Told I and II, they contain smaller stories (either relating to the main albums, origin stories for in-universe band members, or self-contained ones)

There is also a standalone single, "Frankenstein." Guess what that one is about lol. It, along with "Alice" and "Gunpowder Tim vs. The Moon Kaiser" are "songs" on the longer side that contain shorter narration/song segments.

Lastly, there's Death To The Mechanisms, which was the band's farewell concert in 2020 when they disbanded. It's been recorded and put together as a live album and contains fun banter and character lore regarding their deaths.

IF you want my favourite songs, regardless of album, it's probably Red Signal, Peacemaker, Blood and Whiskey, Thor, Rose Red, Alice, Acatea and Lyssa, Lost in Cosmos, The Ignominous Demise of Dr. Pilchard (which also has fun banjo), Elysian Fields, Ragnarok II: The Calling, and Riddle of the Sphinx.

Good Omens 2 bits (part 1)

Imma watch this again and actually take notes the second time around, but I just wanted to do some points on things I noticed on first watch:

- I love how the Bentley actually IS sentient (or at least some version of it) and changes it’s personality a bit when Azirapale drives it (is it bc he actually changed the Bentley? How did he manage to actually change the Bentley? HMMMMM??? awfully sus Crowley)

- Another thing about the Bentley, idk if they were actually there in the first season, but you can VERY CLEARLY see the bullet hole stickers that Crowley got the one time he got petrol just so he could get those damn Bond bullet hole stickers. Nice touch.

- Apparently Crowley’s flat is property of Hell??? And that’s why he has to live in his car the whole time now that he’s a traitor??? Do you think Crowley has been only sleeping in his car and spending the rest of his day in the bookshop? One of the lines in Crowley’s confession would seem to support that but idk.

- Onto the bookshop now, absolutely LOVE how Aziraphale learned his bloody lesson the first time about how IF YOU OWN A BOOKSHOP DO NOT HAVE OPEN FLAMES WITHOUT PROPER SAFETY MEASURES!! I was dying when them using electric candles in the circle finally hit home and Gabriel saying “Look there’s plenty more fire extinguishers up here!” absolutely killed me. I was dying of laughter.

- Another thing about that climax... I absolutely fucking LOST IT when Aziraphale did the halo thing. Neil mentions it in the introduction of the script book about how Good Omens was almost made a movie before and... well... take a look for yourself:

the FUCKING DISCUS HALOES MADE IT IN FFS!!! I was dying, as soon as I saw Aziraphale go for the halo I was like, “oh Neil you better FUCKING not have” and then he did, and I had my face in my hands and couldn’t stop cackling at the madness I had found myself in.

- Another thing about this script book, I noticed this just through the trailers but they did cement it in the show:

They did it, they managed to put it in there. I honestly teared up a bit when I heard it in the trailer, cuz it was something that Terry had suggested. Hell, it even ended up becoming Gabriel and Beez’s song (yes I know those of you who shipped them are probably over the moon right now at becoming canon, I’m still in shock that what I considered a joke ship actually happened, but I am honestly happy for you and they are.... admittedly disgustingly cute together)

- Another song related thing, I am SOOOO happy that good old fashioned loverboy finally got the love it deserved. It only took us all making so many animatics with it and fanfic titles with it’s lyrics, but I’m glad to see that the Bentley thought it was fitting.

- It’s also nice to know that before the Fall, Crowley was at least a Dominion or a Throne, but my bet is on being a higher power than that since I don’t think they’d just let ANYONE make the whole galaxy (also LOVED that scene btw,  such a great opening to come back to).

- I think the last things I’m gonna mention are the whole nazi zombies thing (why is it ALWAYS nazi zombies?? It’s so weird to see them here, anyone else immediately think of COD??) and the fact that this instance of Aziraphale’s magic act is at least probably part of the reason why Crowley reacted the way he did in the first season to Aziraphale wanting to do magic for Warlock’s birthday (that and he already knew that his magic wasn’t very good as he says).

But yeah I’ll probably have more thoughts later since I am going to watch it again and take proper notes this time, but even though that ending was heart breaking I still really enjoyed it whole heartedly. I’m pretty sure my smile was plastered onto my face for most of the show. I know not many people will see this, but I hope you enjoyed and I’d love to gear about any little things that you noticed. I am absolutely LIVING for this fandom rn.

!! i like how i write her! i think… any concerns i have are moreso with like. how my writing of her comes across? but that’s another thing where i just have to step back and remind myself that anyone who judges the way the kids are shown now, when we’re only partway through the story, and no one’s ftes are finished, is silly, and that includes me. it’d be silly of me to judge my writing when i haven’t even been able to show all the parts of the kids characterization!

Again I really like your Analysis about the blacksmithing, and originally when I wrote that I wanted to include this segment about it and his adventures, but realistically, it didn't and wouldn't matter.

Blacksmithing and the adventures, solo or lu related, is something that he experiences as an individual. I talk about the all-around race that can qualify for more than one of them, but in a way the core basic analysis

Of course when you take a deeper look, the roles currently needed or necessary also play a major role. Let me give you an example. You mentioned warriors. He is a captain in an army is he not? He survived so many hardships and pain and struggles, certainly he can handle just fine what you go through in your unimportant, mortal simple life.

That was my thought process when our warriors first split (our country was at war, still is by the way), and he in true warriors fashion, took the duty of an emergency fronter to ensure we will be safe. That brought up too many trauma flashbacks and he didn't last (RIP Cap, we couldn't save you, but we won't forget).

We didn't know about LU or the legend of zelda for that matter until a very little bit over half a year ago, and the group of alters from this fandom can easily fit a classroom student list by the amount of them.

So long a brain js still traumatized, and so long splitting and multiplicity are objects and means that are already familiar to the brain of a person in term of self experience, splits can happen. If your mental or physical state is urgent, + you are autistic and tend to latch to the current media you have favor for, it's very common to split from a "recent" media or media you didn't know for a long time.

Sounds rough, so yeah, kudos!

Our Warriors is very much an emergency fronter. It's a little hard to get into because I don't entirely understand it, but the gist is that at home it's not really safe for others to front very strongly or very often, not in an outwardly noticeable way. I mean, my family knows about the system and accepts it, but they don't understand it, and the whole mix with rejection sensitivity in knowing that I would get weird looks or have unpredictable/uncontrollable responses to someone else fronting distinctly enough to be noticed sets off all sorts of Danger alarms in the system, so it doesn't happen.

But especially when visiting my irl friends who happen to also be systems people can front all the time, and Wars has a habit of jumping in any time I become nonfunctional.

Like "okay, you're shutting down and panicking, but we need to finish eating and I happen to know you will be more comfortable if I help make the bed for you before leaving front", so he just gets shit done in a very straight forward fashion and it's nice.

Also. hhhhhh the war stuff...

I dunno what your situation is, but I'm sorry. We're not... exactly? in war, here in the US, but I think in 100 years this'll be looked back on in history classes as part of the peak of our structural and societal fall and failure. I cannot properly express how much I fucking hate our government. The capitalist bullshit and the way our government actively contributes to genocide in other countries then claims we have nothing to do with it because we don't live there...

I dunno, I'm not knowledgeable enough to get into it and I don't want to turn into the kind of person that rants about politics, especially without all the facts. I know enough, and live poorly enough, to be mad about those specific things I mentioned and that's about it.

On a semi-unrelated note, have you heard the song Ain't No Crying by Derivakat? Damn, that's a jam, and I actually enjoy the sort of righteous rage it insights in me when I'm in the mood to rage at the machine.
