absolutely!! I subscribe to the idea that newsie spends most of their time inside one way or another.  Most of its done in this low building a little past nowhere, somewhere in zone 4 or 5.  Some stuff about it, and a floor plan under the cut!

- It might have been an arcade at some point.  There’s cabinets inside but the exterior has no windows or signifiers besides a We’re Closed! sign. The floor is wall to wall bowling alley carpet though.

- Its pretty dark inside and the only light is from whatever screen newsies using at the time.  Its like the opposite of a casino where its kept bright to help you forget what time it is.  Time is a construct that gogo does not adhere to, and the arcade reflects that.

- When the girl pops in, everything boots up at once, whether its plugged in or not.  Its always super cool, and you can tell whenever the four are nearby because things start turning on :D

- It’s always pretty loud because of the generator.  The solution to this is to a) wear noise cancelling headphones or b) turn your own music up even louder.  It depends on her mood, but there are extra headphones if any guests need them.

- There’s a corner made up of screens and electronics stacked on top of each other, most of the screens show cctv footage of the desert.  Newsie has access to the desert cameras that BLI set up, and the connections to warn killjoys if a patrol shows up. (through chimp!)

- most of the seating is in the form of plastic stools (the circles).  They came with the place and stack pretty easily.

- wires and extension cords and power strips everywhere.  The whole place is a tripping hazard (rip kobra)

- There’s knick knacks and dead tech and little toys covering every vaguely horizontal surface.  They also tend to collect in corners.  Things just seem to accumulate, and News doesn’t mind if anyone wants to take something back with them.

E: The corner filled with screens and tech.  Most screens are tuned to BLIs surveillance channel, and its where news spends most of her time

F: Racing game cabinet (Very comfortable)

H: Arcade cabinets in varying states of disrepair (including polybius!)

I: Dance dance revolution set (also the house speaker when there’s power)

J: One of many junk piles, assorted dead tech and knick knacks (girl gets her tamagotchi from one of these, but there’s also furbies and stuff like that)

K: Main entrance (glass doors are blacked out)

do kids even have toys of the year anymore??? what do kids do these days? like i just remembered pogs and the next year it was gogos but marbles was a always steady bet and the tamagotchi, and your friends mom had to make a call to another mom because they'd gambled their whole collection of hockey cards during break time and came home bawling, like the drama was real.. always saving your money so you could buy the newest pez head and now?? eleven year olds out here with smartphones like, goddamn i had to ask one of my classmates if i could borrow their nokia to play snake during break because that was about as cool as it could get
