Doodles I did on my birthday. Man I miss doing quick n messy sketches, I did them all the time back in my days of character design class.

1. Remember the antagonist of Act One? Xavier? Well, he’s a lady now, and her name is Xenia! The very spokeswoman of Trans Women’s Wrongs. Evil factory-running bitch voiced by Cruella de Vil.

2. Speevis! He got a lil design upgrade! This is likely one of his final designs, and I took inspiration off of Edred from Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. Elfish, but still otherworldly. Raven lucked out on such a cute boyfriend. :3

3. Raven being shocked at something. Below that is him and Thorn being twinsies.

4. Shitpost page. Magnus bathing against his will, Prim laments the enemies he’s made, and Godric having a heart attack.

Didn’t get to around to drawing these fellas with their flags, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to do that this year! Probably the last batch for this doodle series, so I don’t burn out. Happy pride month!!

Happy birthday, Godric!

Here’s a little doodle page of our favorite grumpy Dracula knockoff. I wanted to draw him with a wider range of emotions beyond his typical displays of disappointment. I even put a smile on that withered old mug of his.

Not to get sentimental, but for a character that doesn’t appear until halfway through the story he’s a part of, I adore Godric and everything about him. He was originally made to be a hate sink, but I fell in love with him. So he evolved from being a one-note jackass into someone with true depth. He’s not perfect, he never has been. And I love how I’ve written him. I’m excited to show you his character arc, and I hope you’re just as excited to see it.

HEYYY I redrew a Godric piece that I made back in November! Since there was some stuff in the original that I wish I did differently, I went and revamped it.

For example, Godric’s white forelock. The old version had it more as just regular grey strands in his hair, but you’ll see in later drawings that I’ve made it into more of a skunk stripe. This is because I wanted Godric’s hair to stand out more, since it’s a pretty prominent feature of his design.

Also, the background. The original background was so dark that his nails were basically invisible against the shadows… so this time around, I went with a bit of a lighter backdrop! I also wasn’t pleased with how much purple was in the picture, and thus I chose a blue-colored scenery instead.

Overall, I think I’m much prouder of this drawing after the revamp! That isn’t to say I didn’t love the old version, I just wish I did a little better, and that’s what I sought to do by doing it over. I’m still keeping the original up for those who like that one better, but I hope you guys like this one as much as I do!

Tbh Godric might be one of my most tragic ocs for reasons that will be revealed in due time.

What IS a coincidence is that it’s also the birthday of Curtis Rx from Creature Feature. Which is really cool tbh.
