A poem I wrote for the Lord. Inspired from Psalms 42, Psalms 42:1-11 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God? I pray whoever reads this repents and believe in Jesus❤ know this truth, We live in the world with a reality that no one is exempt from struggles with sin (Psalm 14:1-3, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:23). Due to human sinful nature, many times we did things we should not do and/or did not do things we are supposed to do (Romans 7:18-20). Our natural tendency is to follow our own ways, to do what we think is right, to be the ruler of our own lives. It was because of sin that we had difficulties to trust and obey God. The presence of suffering, sickness, and evil which eventually lead to death is a clear sign that we all desperately need a Savior. Repent to the Lord and believe and you'll be saved. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). God has already done all of the work. All you must do is receive, in faith, the salvation God offers (Ephesians 2:8-9). Fully trust in Jesus alone as the payment for your sins. Believe in Him, and have all faith in him and you will not perish (John 3:16). God is offering you salvation as a gift. All you have to do is accept it.
