For the OCs? ❤️
Godiva “Goldie” Köhler is a pansexual 6’3” half-Fae woman who lived most of her life on a farm with just her Mother for company. Her Mother is a small time Fae who created her own pocket world full of simple joys and hard work. Goldie decided to leave to explore the human realm. She loves her work as a farmhand and learning about the humans around her. But she’s obviously a little awkward since she lived a sheltered life away from others. She also wears an enchanted strip of lace/sunglasses over her eyes which are a dead giveaway that she’s not human. They look like two pools of swirling molten gold and with them she can see more than just someone’s appearance (sorry if that’s an overload of info 😅)
Tumblr media
Mary and Bo have just started working towards combining their farms and they would love to have a beautiful lady like Goldie helping them out.

It’s finally here! Chapter 2 of the Spy AU (it rhymed so I had to). Still no title (suggestions greatly appreciated) or header art.
For Chapter 1:
Ft. @theroyalmage’s Emrys, Asra Alnazar, Portia Devorak, newcomer Godiva
We left off with Nadia Satrinava, the Prime Minister of Vesuvia, receiving a very suspicious note leading to a mystery visitor. Now we meet our surprise guest!
Tumblr media
Chapter Two: Right Back At It
The common consensus amongst the members of the Vesuvian Secret Intelligence Agency, or VSIA, was that there was no such thing as a ‘normal’ day. How could there be? While other agencies drowned in weeks of paperwork and red tape, the VSIA agents moved rapidly and in the most intense situations.
So even getting the call that the Prime Minister had received a serious death threat wasn’t enough to make the agents blink.
Hidden away, the VSIA building stood tall and boring from the outside. A grey building in a sea of grey buildings made even worse with most of the floors boarded up. A small law firm operated on the second floor and a simple accountant set up on the fourth but that was just the beginning of this particular building.
Agent Emrys Trevellyan stretched and yawned as he strode across the white tiling towards the elevator. The receptionist offered a brief nod before turning back to her newspaper. Pulling back the rusted metal grate, Emrys entered the ancient looking elevator and tiredly put a blank keycard into the small slot at the bottom of the floor numbers. A small camera looking device popped out from seemingly nowhere and announced in an overly chipper voice.
“Look at the birdie!”
Emrys gave the camera a muted smile, as he had a thousand times before, and trained his eye on the lens.
“Welcome Agent Trevellyan”
The elevator began to descend.
Many years prior, the organization that would become the VSIA needed to find a suitable space for their operations. They had quite a few requirements.
“There must be space for expansion as our assignments grow. It must not draw attention to itself. Please no more moldy damp basements?”
Once the building was secured they decided to build underground rather than above. Though the space was absolutely covered in dehumidifiers and vitamin D lamps.
The elevator came to a stop and Emrys strolled through slowly towards his office. Other agents were already hurrying about, the VSIA maintained 24-hour Ops. Emrys reaches for his door, dreaming of hot coffee, when a voice stopped him in his tracks.
“Oh no you don’t!”
Emrys wanted so badly to keep walking but instead he faced the voice.
“I haven’t even been here for two minutes, Goldie.”
The woman in front of him was tall and impressive. Agent Godiva Köhler stood at 6’3” with wide hips, strong arms, golden brown skin, and most striking were her gold eyes. The vibrant intensity of her gaze earned her the nickname, Goldie.
Goldie had a way with getting information out of people without using any of the usual methods. Most other agents described it as “killing them with kindness”. She inspired other people to want to make her proud. It was terrifying.
Goldie just smiled and pointed to the note attached to Emrys’ door that he’d missed.
‘Please see me immediately - A’
Emrys pulled the note off of his door and gave it another once over with a narrowed, curious gaze.
"Must be important..." he trailed off before stifling a yawn and turning towards their boss' office.
“I know you just got back,” Goldie offered sympathetically. “But I’m sure he wouldn’t ask for you right away unless it was important.”
Emrys understood that and accepted it, he just still dreamed of the coffee machine in his office.
The Director’s office of a secret organization should probably call up images of professional, cold, and impersonal rooms with metal chairs and plain stately wooden desks but Director Alnazar took a different approach.
Upon entering, Emrys and Goldie immediately took in the calming smell of freshly made tea. Tapestries, paintings, and totems filled the room with color and even though there was a stately desk, Director Asra Alnazar was sitting on top of it.
Touchless screens sat around the Director as he worked through a world full of information using only gestures. Deep violet eyes took in everything and most of the agents joked that the Director could even see the future with those eyes.
“Ah, Emrys!” The look of concentration vanished and the Director stood up to greet the agent. Goldie waved and stepped back out.
“Good morning, Director.”
“Emrys, you know you can call me Asra.”
“And yet...”
“Fair enough. I apologize for calling you so soon after you got back. I heard you did an amazing job out in Nopal though!”
Asra smiled and led Emrys to a couple low cushions where a pot of tea waited. Emrys gladly took a cup with a small smile as the mild caffeine hit him. Asra took a moment too before beginning.
“I didn’t want to send you out at first, you’ve been gone for months but after today I knew I needed you for this,” Asra looked troubled. An unusual expression on the happy Director’s face. Emrys leaned in a bit more.
“You’re my best undercover agent though and I can’t be certain how long this assignment will take,” Asra warned.
“I can take it, Director. Just let me know.”
Asra smiled softly.
“I know you can... you’ve probably heard us mention ‘The Devil’ before.”
Emrys nodded. Many agents had worked tirelessly on uncovering as much as they could about the shadowy gang.
“Well it looks like they’re making a big move suddenly,” Asra sighed. “The Prime Minister received a death threat today and we believe it’s from them.”
Emrys’ eyes widened, so far The Devil had been involved in undercover deals like illegal fighting rings, human trafficking, or blackmail. They’d never threatened public officials so blatantly.
“Why do you believe it’s them, boss? They’ve never done anything like this before.”
“Because of Lucio Morgasson, the PM’s late husband. We’ve uncovered information that he was involved with The Devil before his accident. It appears he used his nightclubs to further The Devil’s agenda. Now that Lucio is gone, they might believe PM Satrinava knows something she shouldn’t. Lately, her own goals have been too close to hurting The Devil’s plans so she’s now a potentially a reasonable threat to them.”
Emrys took a moment to process everything he’d heard. Everyone in the VSIA had discussed Morgasson’s ‘accident’ in detail but held no suspicion his wife had anything to do with it. By all accounts, Nadia Satrinava had been a model citizen and PM with no idea the shady dealings her husband engaged in. To target her now too? Why?
Questions filled Emrys’ mind as Asra waited for him to comment.
“... What do you need from me?” Emrys finally asked.
“You’ll be inserted into PM Satrinava’s personal guard. I want eyes on her 24/7 until we have a handle on the situation.”
Asra pulled a file from beside him and passed it to Emrys.
“We have an agent already in posing as the PM’s personal secretary.”
Emrys opened the file to see Pasha Devorak’s smiling face, he smiled. Pasha was posing as “Portia Kocourek, 25-year-old personal secretary” and actually acting as Emrys’ handler.
“We have files on all of her staff and their contacts”
A large man with dark circles under his eyes and heavy features stared up. “Muriel Kokhuri, Vesuvian Secret Service, personal bodyguard to PM Satrinava.”
“He may look mean but Muriel and I grew up together. Just don’t mention the VSIA to him.”
A small woman with porcelain skin and brilliant blue eyes was next. “Andraste ‘Andi’ Ó Conail, public relations for PM Satrinava.” A small star sat by her name which Emrys mentioned to Asra. The Director quickly moved to refill their cups and shrugged it off with a simple “we want to recruit her” but wouldn’t say more.
The files went on as the two poured over the details. Finally, Asra checked the time and informed Emrys he had a meeting that day to introduce himself to the PM. They said their goodbyes and Emrys set out for the capitol building.
Questions still swirled around his mind but he focused on the task at hand. Upon entering he sought out Pasha’s cheerful face and gave her the slightest nod.
While Pasha reached out to the PM, Emrys took the time to drop into the closest chair. It really felt like a 100 years since he’d had a real break. Maybe after all this he would actually take a vacation? Use some of those days piling up behind his name.
“The Prime Minister will see you now, sir.”
Emrys nodded and stood back up, vacations would have to come later. Right now, he had a job to do.

Andi: Likely some kind of media/PR position
Cleo: She’d still follow the same career path. Only difference is she be trained as a high-end escort and then gone on to psychology

Chapter Five: A Key
To say that Kit Hunter had an interesting past would be a gross understatement. In his relatively short life, Kit had managed to experience more than most citizens of Vesuvia did in their entire lifetime. Not that he was prone to say, bragging or anything.
So when he found himself in the elevator of the capitol building on his way to help his secret agent brother uncover a plot that threatened the Prime Minister by using his extensive illegal skills, let’s just say he wasn’t too surprised. He shifted the motorcycle helmet to perch on his hip as he double checked that he’d brought all his gear. Once he was satisfied, he checked his hair in the reflective surface of the doors. As they opened he prepared to throw some witty line out at whoever he met first but just as his mouth opened... his voice failed at the sight in front of him.
The outer office was clean and stylish which was boring but over in one corner color seemed to explode. Plants, candy dishes, Knick-knacks, and photos spread all over the reception desk but it was the woman sitting behind it all that rendered him speechless.
A gorgeous fiery looking redhead smiled up at him with a mischievous sparkle in her eye. Kit felt like his heart wanted to jump out of his chest. A striped red headband kept her wild hair back but some still fell in front of her face but didn’t block the beautiful blue eyes looking directly at Kit.
Oh.
Looking... directly...
Panic shot through him and Kit tried to laugh as he leaned against the desk. He tried again for something witty or smooth, unfortunately it didn’t come easily.
“Hi, Uh, what in the Arcana is a girl like you doing in a place like this?”
If the world could have opened up and swallowed him, he wouldn’t complain.
The woman just laughed though and leaned closer to him.
“Well, someone has to provide the chaos around here.”
Kit felt like a cartoon character who’s eyes popped out as hearts.
“You must be here for Agent Trevellyn, he’s right through that door. Unless you need someone to show you the way?”
She teased as she pointed to the door only a few steps away. Kit smiled and gave an exaggerated sigh.
“It looks like such a long harrowing journey but no, I must be strong. I must go on!” The woman laughed again and he would have gladly sat there all day listening to her.
Emrys had other plans though.
Little had either of the two noticed, the door had opened and Emrys was staring his brother down. Kit felt his gaze and turned to see Emrys raise his brow just slightly.
“Hey, br- Agent. I’m here to solve the case!”
Emrys shook his head but had a small smile as he gestured for Kit to come look at the door.
Kit bounced over with a small wave back to the woman at the desk.
As soon as he sat down in front of the door, it was all business. He ran his fingers over every inch of the door looking for even the smallest sign of tampering but found none.
“Is that a Magician’s lock?” Kit mostly mused to himself but Emrys nodded anyway.
That changed the game. The lock showed no signs of damage or even tampering and a quick inquiry to Emrys ensured him that the PM had no trouble opening it when she came in.
“Well, I know exactly how they did it,” Kit stood up and paused so Emrys could humor him.
“And?”
“I’m glad you asked,” Kit noticed the Secretary had leaned over the desk to listen too. “They...... had a key!”
The silence that followed was anything but comfortable. Emrys narrowed his eyes at his brother, the Secretary raised her brows in confusion, and the PM herself walked over to give him an incredulous stare.
“.... they had a key?” Emrys said slowly.
“Yep, no one is getting into a Magician lock without serious noticeable damage or a hammer. This baby is top of the line security and they’re known for being tricky.”
Kit was confident, no one was cracking this lock so cleanly.
Emrys went quiet again and Kit could see the gears whirling in his head as he refocused his approach.
“Understood. Thank you for your assistance and that will be all.”
Kit frowned slightly, of course Emrys was kicking him out as soon as things got good. All he’d done was look at one door and state the obvious, boring.
“Maybe I can-“
“No.”
Kit suppressed the urge to roll his eyes.
“Fine, I’m going.”
Kit packed his little toolkit back up and slipped the packet back into the inner pocket of his leather jacket. Emrys and the PM were discussing putting together a list of new potential suspects.
“Ahem,” a small cough came from behind him. The Secretary had come out from behind her desk and held out a small paper bag to Kit.
“Thank you for your help, Mr...?”
Kit took the bag and opened it to see a freshly baked muffin that smelled like what hopes and dreams are made of.
“Oh no, please, my brother’s name is Mr. Mine is Kit, Kit Hunter.”
She smiled.
“Pleasure to meet you, Kit. I’m Portia Kocourek and I’m sure we’ll see each other around again.”
He certainly hoped so.

It was always the sweat.
The blood.
And the pain.
Flashes of bright lights pointed down into a metal cage. The sounds of cheering and cries of anger filled the room.
If you let them, your senses could easily overtake you. Too much of everything and the knot inside that wouldn’t go away.
A young man walked into the ring determined to ignore everything but whatever was in front of him. Nothing else mattered in that moment but survival.
Long unwashed black hair swung around him wildly. If he’d seen a mirror lately he might even think he looked quite feral. Luckily there weren’t any mirrors in their “barracks”.
The figure in front of him was big but not as big as him. That was all they were, big or small faceless figures. It was all he could afford them because if The Count sent them in with his “Executioner” then he knew how it had to end.
He was ready, he had to be.
For the sweat.
The blood.
And the pain.
“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH”
Muriel shot straight up in bed, reaching for some faceless foe and crying out. Where were they? It’s not safe. It’s not safe. It’s not safe...
A pair of light green eyes shine through the dark figure and slowly he heard a soft voice.
“Muriel.... Muriel... it’s okay... we’re safe... everything is okay.. Lucio is gone. We’re safe. You’re safe, darling.”
The real world seemed to begin at those eyes and slowly the rest came back into focus. Freckles stood out on porcelain skin like constellations and her hands were up with the palms facing him but respecting his space. Soft curls were wild and even though she was on her knees they still brushed the bed.
Muriel was safe, he was in his own bed in his townhouse and Lucio really was gone. The room around him that had once been so bare was now filled with life and color. Art hung on the walls and soft carpets littered the floor making it feel more like a home. Most importantly though, Cleo was here.
Muriel reached out to cup her jaw and they both started breathing in sync with a relaxing breath technique that Cleo had taught him.
“...sorry.” He mumbled once his heart stopped racing. Cleo lifted a brow at him and didn’t need words.
Muriel smiled slightly.
“I know... I know. Instead of apologizing try saying what I’m grateful for.” He paused.
“I’m grateful that you’re here to help me”
Cleo wound her arms around his neck and gave him a light kiss before pressing her forehead against his.
“I’ll always be here for you, my love.” She whispered.
They ignored the problems that came with that statement for a moment.
Life hadn’t been easy for Muriel Kokhuri since he was abandoned in Vesuvia as a child. It felt like there was always some new trouble hiding around the corner. He’d learned to escape police, steal food, and fight to protect himself and his best friend, Asra Alnazar. Unfortunately, he’d learned a little too well and gained some very unwanted attention.
Shaking off the fog of unwanted feelings, Muriel got up to get ready for the day. The familiarity of the routine helped him calm down.
Cleo padded over to the little kitchen to start the coffee maker and hummed to herself. Despite the chilly house, she waited while still wearing Muriel’s much too large shirt. The sight caught his eye and he paused a moment to take it in. The morning light was shining through the small kitchen window and bouncing off of his lover. Her smile was brighter than any sunlight to him though and he found himself reliant on gazing at her loving face. The smell of freshly ground coffee beans and brewing filled their small rooms.
Muriel walked over to the kitchen once he’d washed up and dressed to wrap his arms around Cleo’s waist and pull her towards him. He gently laid his chin on her shoulder to watch the coffee with her.
“Good morning, mo ghràdh”
Muriel lightly nuzzled her neck in response which brought a small giggle from her.
“I thought coffee first would be the best course of action,” she explained.
“Mm, I agree. It also delays you getting dressed...” Muriel whispered in Cleo’s ear.
She slipped out of his arms and gave him a playful look when he groaned and reached for her.
“I thought you wanted a better look?”
She twirled and the large shirt fanned out at the bottom almost like a ballroom dress. As she amused herself, Muriel darted over and picked her up over his shoulder. Despite the laughing protest he managed to make it the few steps to their bed and deposited Cleo on it. Before she could wiggle away he laid down on top of her with an exaggerated sigh as if she was a pillow after a long day. The resulting laughter filled their small space and Muriel smiled while nuzzling his nose into her wild hair. In between laughs Cleo managed to get out:
“Oh, mo ghràdh, what are you? A hibernating bear!”
Muriel gave a playful roar close to her ear and the two broke out in a new round of laughing.
As they finally calmed down, Cleo traced the muscles along Muriel’s back and hummed gently. They knew they should be getting to work but that only heightened their enjoyment of this stolen moment.
Until the sudden ringing of Muriel’s work phone cut through. He groaned and sat up to grab the phone next to the bed.
“Kokhuri speaking.”
A muffled voice could be heard in the room. Muriel’s eyebrows came together in a look of slight frustration.
“Asra, I can do my job. I don’t need help.”
A longer string of muffled words.
“Then the last thing we need is a new person near her... even if they are your person.”
The conversation seemed to go nowhere though as Muriel continued to look more frustrated.
“Already there? Fine. I need to be on my way.” A muffled goodbye then he sat the phone back down. Cleo didn’t ask, Muriel would tell her when he was ready so instead she got up and filled his mug with the fresh coffee and brought it to him.
“Thank you,” he took a long sip. “I’m going to need this... the Prime Minister received a threat last night.”
Cleo’s eyes widened but she stayed quiet.
“Asra was called in. He’s sending an agent.” The thought was still slightly insulting to Muriel’s pride but more so he distrusted strangers especially when threats were made. As he mulled it over though he noticed a text message notification from early in the morning.
“‘Zalli?”
Cleo turned from where she was filling her own mug.
“A sheòid? You haven’t heard from her in some time.”
Muriel opened the message.
“Information
Meeting place: Rowdy Raven
Time: When the hummingbird flies
- Q”
Short and to the point, she really preferred in person communication.
Only a few miles away in a basement below a local bar, a phone buzzed with a new message.
A woman grabbed the phone to read it.
“Understood.
- M”
She let out a sigh and turned to look at her partner who had thankfully fallen asleep while they waited for an answer. In the low light she could still see the heavy bags under his eyes, a downfall of such pale skin. His vivid red hair stuck out everywhere and the desk around him was littered with papers. She reached out and took one of his hands in hers, her darker skin creating a contrast to his sickly white hand.
“Don’t worry, Ilya. It’ll be over soon.”

mo ghràdh - My love
A sheòid - Valiant Warrior

Chapter Four: I Remember You
Director of the VSIA, Asra Alnazar, had managed to attain a position and respect at a very early age. The original concept for the VSIA had laid in a file that had been dormant in the Vesuvia Central Intelligence building for many years. Mazelinka Seafarer proposed the idea after an elaborate exercise where she herself broke into the VCI’s top secret department just to show how easy it was.
Needless to say, the department heads had not liked that.
Mazelinka’s original proposal to form an intelligence agency that was independent of the government was pushed behind a mountain of red tape. Not that it stopped the young agent for one second.
After years of arguing (and many successful break-ins) the Prime Minister took an interest and gave the go-ahead for this new agency. Mazelinka was an experienced agent by that time and ran the department like a tight ship. It was Mazelinka herself who advocated for young Asra to be hired in the first place.
The government was very opposed to inviting a young person who virtually had not existed until a couple years prior into the largest intelligence organization in the country. Luckily, no one listened to them.
Asra reminisced on this as he sipped a cup of steaming hot tea next to the large bright window of the “Animals Escape Café”. Rescues of all sorts roamed the rooms as morning goers stopped in for a hit of caffeine and affection before work. He’d only recently discovered the place but immediately took to the atmosphere. There was no sense of the rush that laid outside the doors and patrons were free to sit and relax as long as they liked. On the other side, rescues got the opportunity to be seen outside a shelter environment where they could interact freely.
The bell to the door chimed and Asra’s face whipped towards it. Only to be disappointed by another happy stranger coming in.
Not that he was expecting anyone. Certainly not. Why had he even looked? Well, because the Director of a secret intelligence organization needed to be aware of their surroundings?
A comforting squeeze on his upper arm gave away that not even his pet ball python, Faust, would believe that. He sighed and went back to staring out the window.
It just so happened that this café was the favorite of Andraste Ó Conail, a person the VSIA was very interested in recruiting and also Asra’s ex-lover.
Just a coincidence, of course.
The bell rang again and this time when he looked, he found exactly who he was looking for. Andi had definitely grown up since the last time he’d seen her and the pictures the recruiting department had taken didn’t do her justice. She’d cut off most of her long wavy blonde hair in favor of a short style that reached just below her pointy ears. While she was still only 5’3”, she’d filled out and toned her muscles during her years as an investigative journalist. Approaching the counter, she removed her large sunglasses and Asra drew in a short breath. A lot had changed but he knew those big bright blue eyes out of a thousand.
Unfortunately he too captivated by nostalgia to remember one of the traits that made Andi such a desirable asset.
Andi calmly collected her order, stopped to pet the animals that swarmed to her, and before Asra had time to notice, she was there in front of him smiling mischievously.
“Asra Alnazar, it’s been a while.”
Damn, she’d made him. Asra smiled back to her and gestured to the plush chair beside him.
“Andi Ó Conail, what a treat. Please join me if you have a minute.”
Andi’s brow raised slightly but she slipped into the seat. Curiosity winning out, she couldn’t help but look him over.
Just as Andi had changed, so had Asra.
The lanky teenager grew into a confident adult without a hint of the nervousness from before. Andi recalled a time when he couldn’t even look at her without blushing. Now here he was at her favorite café without so much as a waver in his voice. Although his soft fluffy curls and sly eyes remained the same.
“What brings you here?” Andi let one of the cats jump into her lap as she settled in.
“Would you believe,” Asra gestured to the snake coiled around him. “That this is the only café where Faust is welcome?”
Andi laughed and leaned forward to boop the snake gently on her nose. Faust leaned out closer to rest her head on Andi’s hand. Asra grinned.
“It looks like she remembers you...”
Their eyes met and they were briefly speechless. The meaning behind Asra’s words were as clear as if he’d said them.
He remembered her.
Andi’s cheeks turned pink and she sat back in her chair. Asra had to ignore to urge to move closer. The space between them seemed impassable now.
“It’s been a while...” Andi trailed off.
Memories flashed through their minds. Awkward teenagers meeting for the first time at the local outdoor market, Asra’s cheesy pick up line, that first confession, their first kiss, the sounds and feelings when they finally...
Asra shook his head.
“It has. Maybe it doesn’t have to be so long until we see each other next time?” That made Andi smile faintly.
“I’d like that,” she took out a sheet of paper from a notebook in her purse and quick jotted down her number.
“Call me? Maybe we can meet back up here on the weekend when we’re not so busy?”
Asra reached for the paper and gently brushed Andi’s fingers as he took it. He would have sworn it felt like a jolt of electricity. Andi quickly withdrew her hand and stood up.
“I, um, better get to work now. It was nice seeing you again” she hurried and strode off, not slowing down until she was out the door.
Asra still sat with his outstretched hand holding the piece of paper.
“Nice seeing you too...”
He smiled at the numbers and pet Faust under her chin.

In the middle of writing that last chapter of the Spy Fic I had a moment where someone spoke and I had no idea who it was. I went through various side characters and no one seemed to fit. So of course I ended up making an entire OC to fit that slot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Godiva “Goldie” Köhler, 6’3” So kind she makes everyone around her want to be a better person
I’m wondering if I should actually invest more time and give her a real background. So far, all I really have is her name and that there’s some strange power in her golden eyes. All the picrews have her face shown but I’m thinking she covers her face with a veil for some reason.
