Seen your layla frost mention - any good dark romance books you would recommend? 👀
oh, absolutely!!! though, fair warning - my ideal dr is a horror/thriller moonlighting as a romance so! def read the warnings.
Little Dove by Layla Frost. Maximo, honestly, is my ideal mmc. cold, collected, cunning, unflappable, with a cruel and sadistic side (but never directed toward the the fmc), and wholly devoted to Juliet on a level that would probably land him in jail irl
Then, Earth Swallowed Ocean (book 1) by Shiloh Sloane
"Southern Gothic Werewolves Fight the Devil" that's it. this is the book for me. Shiloh Sloane is my favourite author. genuinely, truly. i love her writing, i love her characters. i love her for her tiktok bio alone: I write love stories whose trailers would have Ethel Cain music in ‘em. obsessed with her. i stalk her daily on insta and tiktok. but the book: it's more horror erotica than DR, but to be totally honest, this is so far up my alley, it was practically written for me. werewolves, the devil, smut, an INSANE mmc (obsessed, mean, possessive), a strong fmc, and it's set in post WW2 Appalachia. instant fave. when i die, bury me with this book.
Cracked Blue Sky (book 2) by Shiloh Sloane
features a native fmc and i know Shiloh Sloane is white, but how she shapes Howie Black Elk was pretty realistic. i loved how much she reminded me of a few cousins, aunties. love this book!!
Snuff by Bonny Capps
dark horror erotica that you absolutely should heed the warnings to. i loved it. 5*. but it does end up on several dnf lists for being brutal and disgusting. fmc goes to Russia to discover her roots, is taken by the Bratva to feature in their "passion projects" (snuff films!), but the mmc decides he wants her all to himself. if you're queasy about totally irredeemable mmcs (sadistic, vile, possessive, obsessed, cruel), then this probably is not for you, but lucky for me, i'm into that. def on my "i couldn't look my therapist in the eye for a while" collection, though.
Lemonade by Nina Pennacchi. mmc is irredeemable (cruel, vile, obsessed). historical romance (Victorian). also on the collection. Little Mouse by Emily Rose. mafia. age gap. A Stone's Throw by Stevie Sparks. age gap (dad's best friend. Scottish hero. auction. weird rich people doing weird rich people shit. God Of Vengeance by Michelle Heard. age gap. mafia. found family. i re-read the bound series this week and my favourites are Bound by Vengeance (Growl and Cora), Bound by Duty (Dante and Valentina), and Twisted Pride (Remo and Serafina). anything by Lilith Vincent. Brutal Husband is dropping in October and i cannot wait. The Devil's Vice by Mindy Paige. trauma bonding. motorcycle gang. age gap. Little Stranger by Leigh Rivers. revenge (fmc sends mmc to prison and he gets out and comes for her). insane mmc. Spectre by Shiloh Walker. kidnapping. violence. neuro-atypical fmc. Slashed by Thalia Sanchez. fmc wants to become a Final Girl. Slasher!mmc gives her just that.
also, not a romance but if you're into dark books with compelling characters, Break Her by BG Harlen was sooo good!!!! the premise is that a professional rapist is sent to break the fmc and it's such a good psychological thriller. def not for everyone though. A Beautiful Evil by Eris Belmont has no HEA but a very brutal and malicious mml. God's Eye by Ansa Reads is brutal. loved it, dgmw. but it's def not for the faint of heart.

Time travel fix it, but Stiles sends Derek back with the last of his magic as he dies.
*Stiles lays, bleeding out in his arms, and as he coughs up blood, he rasps out*
Stiles: Fix it, Der....please
*There is a bright flash of blue light blinds him as Stiles takes his last breath, and a buzzing grows in his ears before they pop. When he can see again, he is crouched in front of Laura's half a body.*
Derek: What....what's happening. STILES!!!!
*He runs to Stiles' house. Thankfully, the Sheriff is not home, but the jeep is there. He listens for a bit to calm down, but what he hears confuses him more.*
Stiles: Oh my god. Scott was bitten by a werewolf. Werewolves are real. Oh god, how do I tell him.
*Derek jumps up to his window and smoothly slips inside.*
Derek: Stiles I need your help.
*Stiles yelps and flails falling out of his chair. Somehow, managing to land upside down. From his position on his floor he looks up at Derek.*
Stiles: What the hell are you doing in my room? *He scrambles to get up pointing at Derek.* How do you know my name? Nevermind sheriff's kid of course you know my name. But why are you here? Wait you said you need my help. Why do you need my help? Holy shit you're Derek Hale! When did you come back to Beacon Hills?
Derek: I think I traveled back in time.
*Stiles stalls out for a second with his mouth hanging open.*
Stiles: *eyes widening* How do you know?
Derek: Well you just said Scott was bitten by a werewolf and that happened like 3 years ago for me.
Stiles: You know about werewolves. You're a werewolf aren't you. Did you bite Scott?
Derek: Yes, yes, no, but I do know who bit him.
*He smells excitement rolling off Stiles and he can see a million questions forming before his smile drops.*
Stiles: Were your whole family 'wolves?
Derek: *not knowing where this was going and mildly confused* yes.
*Stiles immediatly runs over and pulls him into a big hug. He stands stock still unsure what to do.*
Stiles: *with his face buried in his chest* I am so sorry.
Derek: What why are you sorry?
*Stiles pulls away and begins pacing.*
Stiles: Because your whole family burned alive and I always thought that the investigation was suspiciously closed fast so I stole the case file a few years ago and I figured out that your family was targeted but I could never figure out why or who called the hit. Your whole family being werewolves gives me the why. People are cruel to people that are different and I can't see that being any different if you are not fully human. I mean since I figured out that Scott was bitten I have been doing research into werewolves for the last *He glances at the clock* 4 hours and I have found a lot of stuff which includes a few sites with chats about killing werewolves and the bigoted things that I read there kinda made me queasy.
Derek: Stiles breathe.
*Stiles takes a huge breath and looks over at Derek.*
Stiles: What do you need my help with?
Derek: I knew you were smart but damn.
*Derek proceeds to to tell him everything he knows

𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 - gojo isn't human. even if you can't explain it, you can feel it, in more ways than one.
𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 - werewolf!gojo, human!reader, ovulation/in heat, pulling out, office sex, mention of knotting, gojo can smell reader's ovulation, mates/fated pair
2.6k words
Gojo had been among a rare breed in Tokyo, and to most, the beast within him would be undetected and ignored. Werewolves had been nothing more than a fairytale to humans, a screen that neither alpha or omega would lift. If humans had found truth behind their stories it wouldn't end well for either species, and with a peace pact between night crawler and beast, there had been little need to make supernatural presence known.
Geto had been Gojo's beta; a right hand man to his close friend, and one of the only beings Gojo could trust with his life.
Among those people, you had stood proudly.
You hadn't been aware of this, though. Gojo's characteristic coolness when around you, the tilted smirk and smooth words he'd use purely to fluster you had been ones you'd assumed him to use on many - but this fact would be wrong. From the moment his pretty blue eyes had laid on your warm skin and wide smile, he'd sworn his heart had felt fuller.
Gojo had found you irresistible for many reasons. Your hard working nature second to the sweet face and laid-back attitude you'd displayed so easily to him; your presence had been his favourite within the office after only a week of knowing you. He'd been head of Gojo Inc, a face you hadn't expected to be a regular part of your working day, yet he'd made time to spend with you each afternoon. A few colleagues had commented on the uncommon interaction between himself and a lowly administrator, though all had met with disciplinary action from Gojo himself.
Geto had theorised you to be Gojo's fated one, though he'd brushed this off - mates were a kind story told to desperate wolves on the brink of insanity. A last resort to runts, a desperate grab from an alpha to keep their packs sane. And, if a fated being had been true, how could it be that the moon goddess would pair him with a human? No, you were simply his muse; a fresh face and a new toy to play with. Gojo had restraint and had known not to take this further than flushing you in conversation or causing heart to race, a close proximity between he and you within the confides of the elevator - but, what was this smell?
Ovulation had been a thing you'd noticed, but ignored. Being single and years from settling down, you'd paid little attention to the changes your body made each month - the only difference in routine had been increased use of silicone toy.
"Are you okay, sir?"
You'd stopped mid conversation as Gojo's eyes had glossed over, chest rising and falling at noticeable speed. He'd been looking at you, you'd been sure of it - yet, he appeared so hollow. So, for lack of better word, feral. The gaze set upon you had been one you'd never met with before, one that had made your stomach churn in both curiosity and fear.
"Sir?" A second prompt before the elevator dinged, silver doors pulling apart to reveal the tenth floor and Gojo's stop, yet he hadn't moved an inch. The doors had begun to close as the interest you'd felt had instead stemmed into an uncomfortable feeling, mouth opening to protest the unusual action and to perhaps flee the elevator before the doors had closed completely. For some reason, you'd felt if you'd stayed within that spot, Gojo would have lost control. Over what, you'd been unable to tell.
The steel had almost closed shut, your exit fading before you, though as if a sign from God, a large hand had met with the thin gap. The doors had parted once more, Geto allowing no hesitation before stepping into the elevator. His arm had grazed you as he'd practically ran in, palm reaching to his friend's slouched shoulder. You'd watched as the glassy blue eyes had widened, panting chest turning back to shallow breath.
"That was close, Satoru." Getou's voice had been low, concerned gaze fixated over Gojo. As you'd stepped out, doors edging closed to leave two males within the metal contraption, you'd made out the peculiar sentence that had left you questioning both their sanity and your own:
"She's in heat."
Throughout the day, you'd questioned that phrase. Filing paperwork had felt near impossible as you'd reenacted that scene from the morning, a daunting feeling rising when remembering the look of hunger within his eye, the odd term he'd used - could men sense women's ovulation?
You'd googled it, thumb shaking over search bar from both embarrassment and fear, a sinking feeling within you as you searched to find if your school system had failed you. Though, after extensive research (five minutes of searching through mildly related articles) you'd come to the conclusion that ovulation had in fact been undetectable by other people.
Though, you'd known he'd been aware of your bodily situation. Even if you couldn't pin down how or why, you'd understood Gojo's look to be that of lust, a predatory gaze only a beast would give their prey.
Yet, you hadn't felt fear.
From the moment you'd stepped foot in his office on the date of your induction, you'd felt a warmth and homeliness within Gojo you hadn't found elsewhere. There had been a peculiar aura around him you hadn't felt before, and although some had felt agitated by the authority he'd radiated, you'd wanted nothing more than to push his boundary. To get to the bottom of the burning questions you'd had - even if that had meant playing with fire.
So, you'd taken a risk.
A pile of paperwork in hand, you'd stepped foot back in the elevator and pressed finger onto 10 with trepidation ebbing through vein. Your heart had raced with knocking fist over door, though the strain in Gojo's voice when allowing admission had only added to your sureness that he'd been able to sense you.
You'd clutched the files in your palm, fingers wrapped tightly over plastic binder while you'd closed his office door and taken steps closer to his desk.
You could feel it, the tension in the air as you'd grown closer. His eyes had watched you through pain as he'd sat straighter in his chair, smile forced. "Is that the reports?" His voice sounded higher than usual, a strain in throat.
"Yeah, I've completed them all." You'd placed the pile over the wood of his desk, arms less burdened. Though, now you'd had nothing to squeeze your anxieties into.
"Uh, Gojo?" His lack of response had been unusual, though after your previous encounter, you'd expected nothing less. The same pained expression had stared back at you, glossy eye and hollow gaze. The more you'd peered into the blue, the more you'd deciphered lust.
"What did you mean, earlier?" The question had been whispered, though he'd heard you loudly. "In the lift."
Gojo swallowed. Beneath his desk, his cock had twitched, an uncomfortable tightness within slacks as he'd shifted his hips. Your scent had been divine. He closed his heavy lids to breathe deep once more, a groan stifled in throat as the sweet musk had flowed from your being, calling to him.
"Sir?" Your voice had grown timid, and when Gojo's eyes had opened once more, he'd found you bending toward him. This had been enough.
Your concern had irked him enough to place hand roughly to shoulder and push you backward, your behind coming into contact with the smooth wall beyond desk. The startled expression plagued with worry had been a bi-product of his rash action, yet Gojo had only found his lips curving into a smile. You'd been prey, after-all.
"Stop playing dumb." His words had been whispered against the skin of your neck, a barrage of goose-bumps decorating the skin he'd touched. Suddenly, you'd felt prickled with heat - a burning you were sure had started within your core.
"What did you mean, Gojo? Can you-" You'd cut yourself off from asking, though when your eyes had met his once more, pupils blown out and teeth sharp, you'd felt inclined to ask what had felt to be a ridiculous question. "Can you tell I'm ovulating?"
He'd laughed, bitterly.
"Is that what you call it?" His fingers had grazed your neck, sitting beneath chin to push your face upward. He'd stared into your gaze, basking in your attention.
"Gojo..." You'd trailed off, the warmth over flesh turning into an unbearable itch. "What is this?" There had been a draw toward him, a magnetism through every inch of your body that had felt insufferable to bare.
"You're a bitch in heat, aren't you?" His lips were much closer to yours, now. There had been a part of you that had told you to run, yet the throb between thigh and need to connect yourself to him had felt much greater than the fear sinking in your stomach. Instead, you'd closed the gap.
Gojo's mouth was warm - in fact, every part of his pale skin had felt hotter than you'd expected it to be, almost as if he'd suffered a fever. Though as he'd pushed his tongue into your parted lips and pressed his body closer to yours, you'd understood he'd simply been different to the typical human. There had always been something about him, a draw toward him that hadn't felt healthy nor natural, yet his mouth taut to yours had been the only relief you'd felt in the past week.
The glossy lips trailed to your neck, teeth grazing skin as he'd nipped over thick flesh. "You're mine." Possessive words had ricocheted from your skin, his hands now gripping over thigh to lift you against him.
"What is this, Gojo?" Somewhere in your voice had been concern, though your mind had felt lulled when his cock had pressed to your core. You'd wanted him, more than you'd wanted anything in your life.
"You smell so good." He'd spoken against you before inhaling once more, a sharp breath inward to take your scent into lung. "Intoxicating." Gojo had groaned into you, a squeeze of grasp. "You're in heat - that means you're mine, you know?" His rambles had been paired with ruts against you, the friction of his clothed cock against your body serving as the only thing grounding him within that moment.
"Humans don't go into heat, not unless they're fated to us." Another rut, this one catching the parting of your lips, tip pressing over your clit. You whined, slick coating underwear thickly as he'd rolled against you.
"I need you, Gojo." Your request had been a desperate plea, the prickling sensation throughout your body in need of soothing, body clenching.
"I know, love."
Gojo's hands had gripped you firmly as he'd carried you to the fur rug in the centre of his office. This hadn't been where he'd wanted to take you, but you'd needed him - and he'd been inclined to soothe your pain, after all.
"So pretty." Whispered against stomach, Gojo's fingers had hooked through your pants to pull them lower, flat palms scaling exposed skin. He'd spread your legs open wide, pressing into inner thigh to keep you parted as his head had grazed across your slick, a lewd whine from your lips as you'd raised yourself toward him, begging for more.
He'd given you what you'd wanted, pushing himself into you with ease, a groan tumbling from lip when feeling your tightness hug around his length. You'd felt perfect, sucking him in with ease - though the abundance of your own arousal had aided with the tight fit.
Your sensations had felt heightened beneath him, the draw of his length within you creating a jelly within your head. Though, with his cock buried within you, the heat had faded into a soft lull, a static within brain.
He'd bottomed out when reaching for the buttons of your shirt, nimble fingers popping plastic through hole until your chest had been exposed. The white bra you'd had beneath had pushed your chest upward, curve of breast accentuated. He'd pressed his hand into your chest, a rough squeeze with a rock of his hips as you'd contorted your face beneath him.
"Feelin' better?" He'd asked you through the snide grin across his face, cock twitching within your confines as you'd nodded with urgency. "I'll take care of you." Gojo hadn't been sure if the statement had been one he'd used to reassure you or himself, though he'd felt his head throbbing from within you from his protective phrases. He could sense your malleability and trust beneath him, the innate safeness and faith you'd allowed him to have. This had been enough to prove your loyalty, and compatibility.
He'd manoeuvred his body to allow hand between his abdomen and yours, fingers coming into contact with your slick folds to roll his finger over sensitive bud. You'd arched your back immediately, soft whimpers encouraging the circles he'd kneaded into you, cock bullying deep into your core.
You'd sworn under your breath, arm brought over face as you'd felt overcome with pleasure, walls stretched against his thickness and mind foggy. With the swipes of his finger, you'd felt a familiar build up within your stomach, back arching above the rug.
"D'ya know what knotting is?" Gojo took the decency to ask you before it would happen, a flutter in chest as he'd awaited your response. Of course, the human you'd been, you'd shaken your head and allowed confusion to take home over your features. "I get thicker when I come - to keep it all in."
Your furrowed brow had been all he'd needed to see, a mental note to explain his kind to you extensively once you'd felt satisfied. There had been a long way to go with you, though this wasn't anything Gojo wouldn't be prepared for. His heart had beat with yours, another roll over you as you'd felt stuffed full.
"Want you to pull out." Your demand had pained you to say, yet you couldn't push logic out completely. You'd still been ovulating, and without protection had been risk enough. Gojo laughed, bending forward to place lips over cheek. "Not giving you pups yet, love."
You'd whined, the sudden change in proximity feeling wildly more intimate. Gojo had felt this too, the satiation when you'd been closer to him. He kissed over your skin, trailing messily to neck as you'd clenched around him. You were close, he'd felt that through the grip over his length like a vice.
Your strained moan and head thrown back had spoken as evidence to your undoing, Gojo's cock pushed deep within your aching hole, fingers working magic over swollen clit. He'd grunted in a response to your high, an inhuman snarl erupting from chest - though you'd ignored the animalistic sounds he'd made in favour for your orgasm. If anything, the feral groans had only coaxed pleasure from you, a warmth in stomach at the comforting sounds.
Only when your high had fizzled out, legs loosening from his waist had Gojo pulled out, curses and groans tumbling from parted lip as he'd pumped his fist over himself. Hot white had spilled over your stomach as you'd watched him through half lidded eyes.
When Gojo had come down, he'd leaned forward to nuzzle into the small of your neck, sharp breaths in to take your scent in once again.

The Lambda House Halloween Party
The Lambda house Halloween party at Ashford College was in full swing, the house decked out in its usual haunted decor—flickering lanterns, spider webs stretching across doorways, and a thick mist rolling from a fog machine. The music boomed through the rooms, and dozens of college guys dressed in everything from werewolves to gladiators packed the space, laughing and shouting. Some of the Lambda brothers had their eyes set on making the night memorable in a very different way. Every year, they prided themselves on pulling pranks that left guys feeling more than a little exposed—especially those who arrived unprepared or overconfident. Tonight, they had their eyes on Jason.
Jason is wearing a toga that is supposed to drape down to his knees, but it barely covers his meaty thighs. The material is a thin, gauzy white that shifts easily with movement, lifting higher and showing more with every step. As he moves, the toga flutters, and the sides part to reveal a glimpse of his underwear—a skimpy pair of lacy blue panties. The lace pattern is intricate, with small floral designs that contrast sharply against his skin, and they’re cut high on the sides, exposing a lot of his hips. The waistband is thin, and when the toga rides up, you can clearly see the blue lace riding above his thigh.
The guys at the party erupt into laughter. “Nice toga, dude, but I think you forgot to dress for the occasion!” one of them shouts. “Those are some fancy panties you’ve got under there!” another guy adds, grinning. A guy nearby shakes his head and laughs, “Guess you wanted to be the ‘Greek god of lingerie’ tonight, huh?” They lift the back of his toga, exposing the full lace design. “Oh man, you’re showing off more than you think!”
Jason, feels his face heat up as the frat guys start pointing and laughing at his predicament. His toga, already too short, has ridden up enough for everyone to see his blue lacy panties, the thin material barely covering anything. He desperately tries to adjust the fabric, pulling it down, but every time he does, the lace waistband peeks out even more. The frat guys are relentless, crowding around him, their laughter echoing through the room.
“Hey, man, nice choice! Are those lace panties?” one of the frat guys jeers, reaching over to lift the side of Jason’s toga even higher. “Looks like someone’s got a secret.”
Jason, flustered and trying to save face, stammers out an excuse. “It’s—it’s part of the costume! You know, like ancient Greek underwear, uh, they wore—fancy stuff back then, you know?”
The guys roar with laughter at his attempt. “Greek underwear, huh?” one of them scoffs, tugging at the back of the toga so it rides up higher, giving a full view of the lace against his skin. “Sure, dude, because all Greek warriors fought in their girlfriends’ panties.” Another guy doubles over, clutching his stomach, “Oh man, next you’ll be telling us you’re wearing a bra too!”
Jason tries to pull the toga back down, but the frat guys aren’t letting him off that easily. One of them pulls at the waistband of his panties, snapping the elastic against his skin. “Nah, man, if you’re going to wear something like this, you’ve gotta show it off!” he laughs. Another guy joins in, lifting the front of the toga to expose the full lace detail. “Check this out, boys—looks like Jason’s gone all out tonight!”
Jason’s face is burning red now as he feels the lace cling to his skin, the panties barely hiding anything. “It’s—it’s a joke, okay? It’s just for fun,” he tries to say, but the frat guys are having none of it.
“Yeah, right,” one of them sneers, pulling the back of his panties and letting it snap. “You’ve been caught, dude. Just admit you like it!”
Another mischievously smiles, “Why not just take the whole thing off if you’re so proud of your ‘costume’?”
He grabs the side of the toga and gives it a tug, pulling it off entirely. The group hoots with laughter as Jason stands there, desperately trying to cover himself. One of the frat guys holds up his phone, snapping pictures. “Smile for the camera, lace boy!” he says, grinning.
“Yeah, show everyone your ‘ancient Greek’ look!” another guy taunts, pushing him forward so he stumbles in his lacy panties.
Jason’s attempts to regain his dignity are futile. “You know what, maybe he’s right,” one guy says, pretending to consider Jason’s excuse. “Maybe this is just how the Greeks did it. All lace, all the time. What do you think, boys?”
As Jason tries to make his escape, one of the frat guys steps up behind him, snickering. Without warning, he slips his finger into the waistband of the panties. His finger lingers for a moment, running along the waistband as if inspecting the lace pattern. “You know, this lace really suits you,” he teases, giving a slight tug that pulls the fabric into a wedgie. “Bet you didn’t think you’d be showing off your cute little panties tonight, huh?” he adds with a smirk.
Jason’s face burns as the guy continues. “Honestly, dude, you should just own it. Walk around and show off those cheeks—you’ve got nothing left to hide anyway.” The other guys around him burst into laughter, egging on the one who’s teasing Jason.
Feeling the humiliation, Jason doesn’t dare reach back or try to fix his wedgie. He walks away, face down, while the guy shouts, “There you go, show off that lace! Everyone’s loving the view!”
As Jason tries to make his way through the crowd, cheeks burning with embarrassment, one of the frat guys steps up behind him. Slowly, he slips his finger into the waistband of Jason’s lace panties, tugging them just enough to expose his ample behind. Jason feels a shiver run through him, his body betraying the thrill he feels as the lace is lowered. He knows he should push the guy away, but he’s frozen, heart racing.
The guy leans in, his breath warm against Jason’s ear. “We can all see your pretty little panties, man…and your pink hole” he whispers, his finger brushing against Jason’s sensitive hole. The light touch sends a jolt through Jason, and he bites his lip, struggling to suppress the excitement he feels. The teasing touch moves closer, grazing areas that make his knees weak. The lace panties hang below his buttocks, intensifying every sensation.
“Feels nice, doesn’t it?” he murmurs, grinning as he sees Jason’s reaction. “Bet you love showing off for all the guys.”
Around them, the other frat guys laugh, their voices echoing in Jason’s ears. “Dude, looks like you’re really enjoying this!” one shouts, and another adds, “Guess he wanted everyone to see what he’s packing under that toga!”
The guy’s finger continues its teasing journey, lingering on Jason’s hole. The sensation is electric, and Jason can’t help but let out a soft, involuntary gasp. Jason’s head spins, caught between humiliation and the undeniable thrill of being teased and exposed. The frat guy behind him presses a little closer, his finger still teasing along the edge of the panties. “I think he loves it,” he says loudly, making sure the whole room hears. “Let’s see just how much.”
Jason’s body feels alive, every touch amplified by the attention from the group. He knows the guys are watching, laughing, taking it all in—and, deep down, he loves every second of it.

Eddie Munson would like to think that years of hunting monsters had taught him to be incredibly aware of his surroundings.
Over those years, lots of things- both of the human and creepy-crawly variety- had tried to get the jump on him and they always either ended up unconscious, or dead.
However, he must have missed something this time.
Pointed fingertips dig into his throat as his back hit the wall hard, enough to feel the aftershock rattle through his bones. The breath was punched out of him in one smooth whoosh.
His eyes shot to his attacker as he tried to rapidly calculate how to get loose.
“Got you.” The man purred. For the briefest moment, he almost could have passed as human with his golden skin and blue eyes, impossibly big and gleaming in the dim alleyway.
Gleaming like a cat’s eyes.
Not human. Vampire. Fuck.
“I will rip your head from your fucking neck—“ Eddie snarled, kicking out with his loose leg. He might as well have kicked a bag of flour for all the good it did him.
“Oh, I’d really rather you didn’t. I’m pretty fond of his head, especially attached.” A second voice chimed in from the other side of the alleyway, earning a snort from the creature who had him trapped.
“You’d just miss my tongue, sweetheart.” He said without hesitating, lips curling into a grin. His sharp teeth glinted. Eddie felt his panic spike as the other figure started to come into focus. He tried to suck in a breath, the hand on his neck a little too tight.
After everything he’d survived— everything he’d done and learned— he was going to be some vampire couples fuckin’ Happy Meal while they flirted over his cooling corpse.
“Mm, maybe. Now come on, Bils. Stop playing with your food, I want to go home.” The other creature stepped free of the shadows at last, studying his nails like a bored trust fund baby.
No, not nails. Claws.
He was tall, athletic in build and covered in lean bands of muscle. A trail of thick, dark hair disappeared into cut off denim shorts, which in literally any situation where his life wasn’t at stake he might’ve been distracted by. His amber eyes were lazily trained on Eddie and the vampire ‘Bils’ and there was a dog collar- with tags- around his throat.
A werewolf? Eddie’s baffled eyes darted between the two. He’d never seen a vampire and a werewolf in the same space unless they were trying to rip each other into tiny, bloody shreds.
What the fuck?
At least he got to see something new as a send off. Very little surprised him in general anymore.
“But he’s feisty. That’s half the fun, Stevie.” The bloodsucker honest to god pouted as he looked back over his shoulder at his partner, who just sighed.
“I’ll do that thing you li-“ Wolfy started, raising an eyebrow.
“Done. Deal.” That only earned him a bark of laughter in response.
Eddie, who’d been slowly getting his arm closer to the sharp dagger hidden in the holster on his belt, suddenly had the vampire’s full attention back on him.
“It’s a waste though. He’s kind of pretty.” He said, venom-sweet breath washing over Eddie’s face as he leaned in. The other one crossed to where they stood. Eddie flinched as a warm hand skimmed over his shoulder and into his hair, claws leaving a tingling trail in their wake.
“He is…” Stevie agreed, starting to sound a little foggy. Eddie felt the tension drain from his body, against his will. As he felt the sharp scratch of fangs on his throat, he sent a quiet apology to Wayne. Those razor sharp teeth cut his skin like butter, making him yelp out in pain. As ripples of euphoria began to spread from his throat to the rest of his body, he heard one last thing come from the werewolves' mouth. "Maybe we can keep him, if you don't make a complete mess of him anyway." Eddie Munson- from hunter to prized show poodle, he thought sardonically as his brain started to swim. And that's when he lost the battle against unconsciousness.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ❝ [GLASS TIES] ❞
request by lovely anon who loves isaac and pain. pairing: isaac lahey x reader. summary: isaac and you share the perfect summer fling. those ties don't last when summer ends. content warnings: mentions of sex and death. there's like a huge teen wolf spoiler but i mean the show is over for years now. word count: 1,4k+
working during summer wasn't your ideal way to enjoy the warm days and freedom from school work, unfortunately the city library needed help and you needed all the extra crap possible to make your resume look nice, full and interesting for colleges, so you'd spend three afternoons a week helping nerdy teens and old ladies find the books they wanted, register it as they borrowed it and more recently, read to a group of children once a week.
it wasn't the worst job, it could be quite fun... but it was mostly just silence, quietness and a bit of boredom, you enjoyed having access to that many books, but even you got tired of reading after a while, so when the most beautiful guy you've ever seen waited for you to notice him, you were busy laughing at your phone like an idiot.
and he could've faked a cough or anything of the sort to call you out, but instead he decided to simply lean down and insert his head in between your face and your phone, looking directly at you as he did so and making you screech from the scare. "oh my god, what're you doing?"
"getting your lazy ass back to work, apparently." he's nonchalant, his smirk makes him annoyingly handsome, and you'd remember those eyes and those curls anywhere.
isaac lahey, a year older than you, blue eyes, golden curly locks, greek god possibly. you blinked quickly and shook your head, so nervous you couldn't even think of a comeback to his sneaky comment. "so-sorry, do you need help?"
"need a book."
"good, we have some of those here, yes." you found your breach to tease him and you took it without even thinking, trying not to panic as the words left your mouth. isaac enjoyed it though, laughing and nodding along.
"sure, yeah, sorry. werewolves, uh, the less... fictional the better." you're about the laugh it off, yeah right. but he was completely serious, if only a bit concerned about having to ask for those.
you nodded and thought for a minute, putting up key words on the system to see if you could find anything. "we have some really old ones in our more special section, but they can't leave the building. also i wouldn't call them non fictional... i mean, werewolves right?" you shrug, chuckling lightly and he's oh, extremely amused, genuine laughing and you're not sure why. "but uh... they're quite old and kinda damaged, so we don't really know what the purpose of it was."
you take him to the back of the library and shows him the two books you mentioned, they are big, old and dusty and isaac has the time of his laughing laughing at how much you were sneezing back there. "glad you're having fun, but lower your voice, funny boy." you whisper shaking your head disapprovingly, but your smile was too difficult to hide.
you go back to the reception after telling him the library rules again, thinking that would probably be it; but it wasn't.
he took the books to where you were working, taking the closest table to you. he would spend minutes on end just reading, looking beautifully focused, but then he would glance at you and catch you staring at him, isaac would then smile, tell you to go back to work as you told him to keep his voice down.
it was the most fun you had since the summer started.
isaac went back to the library every day after that, shamelessly leaving if you weren't working until he memorized the days you would be there. he truly wasn't much of a library guy, but he enjoyed spending time with you there. it was quiet, much quieter than his mind and his life, but still, it wasn't boring, at least not for him.
after the first week the books didn't matter, not giving him much more information for what he was going through, making you blush though, that mattered a lot and he noticed he was quite good at it.
he was getting used to having girls looking at him more, but something in you stood out. he figured out soon it was simply the fact you've been secretly glancing at him even before he changed. turned.
you would make comments as he walked you home after your shift ended, and he knew you didn't even notice how endearing it was or how much of a tell it was, so not a bike guy anymore? or you gained some weight, right? like, not in a bad way, not that gaining weight is bad, you're just... stronger now.
isaac felt connected to you somehow because of that, you had no idea of what he was, or how bad his life was before, but still, you liked him even then, even when he was broken and you didn't even know him. knowing someone paid some attention to him back then gives him conflicted feelings, but most of them are good. warm. tender.
you make him feel soft. and normal. and wanted. and he knows he could've made his move on you much sooner, but oh, he enjoyed the pining, the blushing, the way you bit your lower lip and tucked your hair behind your ear whenever he complimented you. he enjoyed the teasing too much.
after he kissed your lips for the first time though, he figured out what he enjoyed more than the teasing.
you.
being a werewolf in a freak city meant he didn't always have the amount of time he wished he had to spend with you. but that summer, all the time he had at his dispose was spent with you. calling you, texting you, working with you.
he would take you to late night movies, bowling and ice cream, so terribly charming even when he awkwardly ended up meeting your mom after sneaking in and cuddling with you all night, she adored him. gave him a pass to sleep over as long as he didn't sneak in and the door to your room was always open.
you both followed the rules strictly, but your mom wasn't a light sleeper, so what started with you guiding his hand down your pants ended up with him taking your virginity. slowly, quietly, tenderly. he locked eyes with you and didn't glance away for one second that night. told you words that were probably too soon to be said.
the three words left your lips like a secret, matching his.
things changed when summer ended, school coming at you in full speed.
and maybe it was your fault, with all ap classes, extracurricular, volunteer works you put yourself through, or maybe it was the naivety of not asking what you two were, of not labeling what you both shared before the outside world came into play.
or maybe it was isaac's fault, and the way his outspoken personality sometimes served as a shield to his secretive actions. whatever it really was, you would barely see each other at school, each with your own little friend group, different classes, you were lucky to catch him in the hallways, where he would smile at you and touch your hand lightly as if you two were a secret.
were you? not exactly, but isaac wanted to keep you away from the mess, away from the killing, the blood, the fear. he didn't want to taint what you both had, so the more you didn't have time, the more he got away from you, slipped from your fingers.
and before you could even fight it, try anything to keep him, there was allison.
laughing with him, touching his arms, knowing things about him you would never dream about, you could see it, even from afar, the eyes of two people who connected.
confidants.
it broke you. but you couldn't do anything about it, you felt like it was your fault, as if your oh so busy academic life pushed him away. you let him go, no more texts, no more looking for a glance and a soft touch pass the hallways.
for weeks it was almost like it never happened, like your life was ever the same, like it didn't change past summer. of course you would go through the texts you shared from time to time, shed a few tears and pretend to get over it. and it worked.
until he was at your door sobbing. bloody. completely lost.
allison was dead. and nothing would ever be the same again.

Select an alternate universe to study abroad in for a semester. You'll be sent there with a new body that matches inhabitants of that realm. Little to no time will pass in your world, as time between dimension is entirely diffeent. Wherever you choose to go you won't be known to be from another dimension unless you tell people.
1- an endless forest made of massive trees, so tall no mortal soul has seen the ground or the unobstructed sky. The sentient races of this world consist of slender owl like humanoids, various insectoid races, short squat mushroom people, and a minority of rodent like creatures who live further down the trees. Technology in this world is as advanced as ours, but the aesthetics are more similar to our Victorian age. They say this world's heaven is deep above the trees, and this world's hell is deep below it, with each culture's religion having its own version of God/gods above an devils in the forest floor (outside of the mushroom people, who worship gods below.)
2- an endless system of volcanic caves and tunnels that demons and fallen angels come from. This realm is vast, and is ruled over by countless lords and kings, some truly evil, some merely strange. Demons and fallen angels come is countless forms, most looking somewhat humanoid, though with strange and unnatural distortions, from animal like parts to things humans would find much more horrifying. This is one of the few realms listed where they know what earth is, but they don't know much about it outside of myth.
3- an alternate earth where mythical creatures such as vampires, werewolves, deep ones, dragons, and witches exist. It also has a population of demons and faeries who came over generations ago. While they were in hiding for many millennium, they've now taken over most of earth, with humans being removed or conquered in some regions, and peacefully integrated into others. Though in both cases they are now a minority.
4- a version of earth that's both flat and entirely endless, with many sun's carving safe warm zones in the ice. Even with 21st century technology new lands are still being explored. Most social problems still exist, but things are looking a bit more hopeful, and the world's slightly nicer to live in. Cryptids, gods, magic and the afterlife are all proven to exist, even if humanity doesn't know much about them. Human bodies here naturally trend twords looking however the person inside them wants to look, and sexual attraction and pleasure don't exist.
5- an alternate earth where the kpg mass extinction never occurred. Dinosaurs remained dominant but kept evolving, leading to a sapient race eventually emerging from raptors. The raptors are currently at a similar technology level as us, though due to how they're mind works they've spent more time developing computers and mathematics than they have any other field of technology. Also don't mind the obelisk in the pacific ocean, nobody there knows what it does or who put it there either, and we won't put you anywhere near it.
6- a world filled with giant monsters of all kinds, some looking like massive dragons or Chimeras, others looking like more strange and colorful creatures. Though some animals are smaller, the smallest intelligent creatures are the size of bears, and the largest are much bigger than blue whales. Technology is limited in some regards, mostly as the inhabitants don't always need it.
7- the world of the faeries, strange and complex, and both terrifying and beautiful. Very little is known about this realm other than the strange and often dangerous creatures who come from this place. If you go here it's likely you will remember very little and enjoy very much.
8- a universe where humanity is completely isolated to spaceships and space stations, most of them the size of cities. Humans here are grown artificially, and have completely androgynous bodies that lack biological sex, and most of them combine their bodies with mechanical upgrades becoming cyborgs. Most humans never touch a planet, and those who do don't stay there for long. There are a few alien species with planetary civilizations, but almost all of them are strange and eldrich. Technology is incredibly advanced compared to ours, and quality is life is better. Most humans consider AI taboo, though normal computers are fine and commonplace.
9- a world where humans are entirely missing, but every species of mammal is sapient and humanoid. Birds and reptiles pick up the pace of animals in the ecosystem, as the mammals have created a global civilization. Though magic doesn't exist here, and technology is around a 21st century level, the quirks of each species have created a lot of situations impossible in our world. Though several nations exist, the main powers of the world consist of a group of powerful corporations, an ancient secret society, and the church of the dead gods, all of whom are locked in a cold war, that luckily keeps the nations of this world at peace.
10- a massive city, floating in the void, surrounded by eldritch horrors. Countless humanoids have made their homes in the city, most hailing from diffrent dimensions themselves, but permanently stuck here. Though many races here could pass for humans, none of them truly are, from the sirenia who have wings for arms and hands for feet, to the modutal who can take parts of their bodies off and swap them with other members of their race, to the subterranean vamire who eat raw meat and have albino skin, to the hyven whose minds are each split between two to five bodies. It's estimated between fifty to a hundred humanoids call the city home.
11- the abyss. Do not attempt to enter the abyss. We cannot assure your safety.

{Part One} {Part Two} {Part Three} {Part Five}
The sight of you, holding your sister, safe and alive, was a gift from the Gods, a blessing that made Niklaus nearly shed a tear.
There you were, battered and bruised but living. Telling him that his brothers were possibly still alive, Elijah, his closest friend, and Henrik, his baby brother, the one who looked up to him, saw him as a true warrior, a leader, a hero.
"I won't leave without Elijah," you had said, your eyes fierce, determined.
He admired you so much, your strength, your courage. You had changed in ways he couldn't quite decipher, but you were still the girl he had grown up with, the one who had held his hand when he was scared, who had kissed his bruises and scraped knees. The one he wanted to make his wife.
He watched you run to safety, holding your sister close, and he paused for just a brief moment to imagine the future you would have together, a world free from danger, where you could raise your children, surrounded by his family, putting the past behind you.
Then he ran in the opposite direction towards the docks, the green and blue of his shield and tunic, standing out amongst the black and red of the Blackthorne's. He had to find Elijah and Henrik, had to finish the job, and get all of you out of this wretched place.
When he caught sight of his brother he felt such relief, he couldn't believe he had found him alive. Elijah was a bloody mess, his tunic torn and shredded, his skin covered in bruises and cuts. He had seen him fight before, had sparred with him plenty, but he had never seen him like this; he was a true warrior, a killer, his skill and determination making him a force to be reckoned with.
Niklaus ran forward, his axe held high, and brought it down on a slaver's arm, severing it. The man screamed, the sound deafening, his face a mask of pain.
"Elijah, let's go!" Niklaus shouted, grabbing his brother by the arm.
Before they could even move, a slaver's sword landed into Niklaus' leg, cutting through the leather armour, making him stumble. He managed to keep his footing, grabbing the slaver's face and breaking his skull against a pole, instantly killing him.
Another jumped onto Elijah's back, but Elijah grabbed him by the hair, throwing him into a stack of crates, the wood breaking and splintering under the weight of the slaver's body.
Niklaus cursed under his breath, his body tensing as he saw another attacker rushing towards them, his blade raised. He swung his axe, the blade connecting with the man's chest, blood spraying from the wound. The man stumbled backwards, his eyes wide, his expression one of shock.
They fought back to back, the battle raging around them, the sound of weapons clashing, the shouts of the blackthorne warriors, the smell of blood and death filling the air. It was clear to both of them that they were outnumbered, that they needed to run, that fighting was pointless, but they were surrounded.
"We have to go," Elijah shouted, "now!"
"I'm not leaving without Henrik," Niklaus shouted back, his expression one of defiance, of determination.
"We can't find him if we are dead," Elijah countered, his eyes scanning the crowd, looking for a way out.
They were outnumbered, the odds against them, but Niklaus wasn't about to give up. He was a Mikaelson, he had fought, had killed, had bled for this village, for his family. He would gladly go to Valhalla beside his beloved brother, he had already made his peace with the Gods, had already accepted his fate.
He allowed himself to grieve you once again, the first time allowed him to lay with Tatia, this time it was knowing you would be safe. It made him feel hollow, empty, but it also gave him a sense of purpose, a reason to keep going, to fight.
He grieved the same for Elijah, always doing what he thought his elder brother would do. But with Henrik, he couldn't pretend, couldn't hide behind his duty, it was his baby brother, and if he was lost, he didn't know how he would live with himself.
Elijah turned to look at him, his gaze filled with pain, the anguish and sorrow etched onto his face. Niklaus knew he felt the same way, he would carry the guilt of not saving him forever, and he would make sure to avenge his death, no matter the cost.
"What's done is done," Niklaus said, his voice firm, his grip tightening on his axe, he tried not to let his hands shake, to let his emotions get the better of him. He pushed the images of sweet Henrik, his eyes filled with wonder, his laughter infectious, out of his mind, trying to focus on the present.
"We have to move, Niklaus," Elijah said, his tone sharp.
They turned and ran, losing the pursuing slavers in the main market. They both slowed, pulling their hoods up, keeping their heads down, trying to blend in with the crowd. They weaved their way through the throng of people, dodging and ducking, moving as quickly as possible.
"I saw my sweet y/n with Gerda, thank you for saving them," Niklaus said in a hushed tone.
Elijah nodded, his eyes scanning the crowd, "What of Rebekah and Kol? Where are they?"
"In a village about a ways north from here," he said, keeping his voice low. "They are safe and well, although Kol remains a pain in the ass."
Elijah let out a relieved sigh, a smile forming on his lips. "Good, good,"
Screams and shouts echoing through the market, their pursuers were gaining on them, they could feel it.
"Do you have a plan?" Elijah asked, his voice filled with urgency.
"We split up, lose them, meet back at the forest," Niklaus said, his tone brokering no argument.
Elijah nodded, they were outnumbered, this was their only chance, and they both knew it.
"I'll see you there," Niklaus said, pausing for a moment to look at his brother, taking in his face, committing it to memory.
Then they both embraced, their arms tightening around each other, their shoulders shaking, their emotions overwhelming them. Niklaus hadn't realised how much he needed his big brother, how Elijah made him feel safe, grounded, strong.
They pressed their foreheads together, not needing to say anything, just pausing for just a moment, and then without another word, they went their separate ways.
Niklaus made his way towards the stables, his pace quick, his movements fluid. He found a horse tucked in a quiet corner and he was about to mount it when he heard a scream.
Your scream.
He ran towards the sound, pushing people blindly, not caring if the slavers were following him, not caring about anything but getting to you, saving you.
When he found you, you were standing over Elijah, who looked to be passed out on the ground, your axe raised, your face a mask of fury, your body tense and ready to fight.
You were beautiful, fierce, a true warrior, a Valkyrie come to life.
You swung and landed a fatal blow to a blackthorne's head, his body hitting the ground with a thud.
Niklaus couldn't believe his eyes, he couldn't believe that you had killed a man, that you had fought so hard to save Elijah. You were covered in blood and he didn't know if it was yours or not, his stomach turned, his body moving before he even knew what was happening.
He charged at the remaining attackers, his axe swinging wildly, his fury and rage driving him forward.
When he dispatched the final one, he turned to see you on your knees next to Elijah, your hands holding his, tears streaming down your face.
"Nik, help me," you cried, your voice raw, "we need to get him out of heret,"
Niklaus knelt beside you, his eyes roaming over his brother, checking for injuries. There was a deep gash across his chest, blood seeping from the wound. He pulled a dagger from his belt and cut a piece of cloth from his tunic. He placed it on the wound and pressed down, the pressure causing Elijah to groan.
"He saved me," You said in a quiet voice, "again,"
"You should not have come back," Niklaus growled, his eyes flashing.
"I couldn't leave him," you said, your voice barely a whisper, "I couldn't leave either of you,"
"He is strong," Niklaus said, his voice barely above a whisper, "he will make it,"
You nodded, your gaze turning to the sky, your eyes taking in the setting sun, the colours painting the sky.
"We should get going," you said, getting to your feet, "before more men come,"
Niklaus helped his brother stand, putting his arm around his shoulder, supporting his weight.
"Henrik is with Gerda in the forest," You said, taking Elijah's other side, "let's get the hell out of here,"
"Let's get him on a horse," Niklaus said, his tone urgent, "we can ride double,"
Elijah shook his head, his expression filled with pain, his face pale. "Leave me,"
"No," both you and Niklaus said in unison, your voices hard.
You helped him onto a horse, getting up behind him, your arms wrapping around his waist.
"Go," you cried, "now!"
Niklaus mounted his own steed, his face tense, his jaw clenched. The three of you raced towards the forest, the horses' hooves pounding the ground, the wind rushing past.
As you entered the woods, you could feel the change in the atmosphere, you felt relief, a sense of safety as the canopy of trees became thicker, blocking out the last rays of the setting sun.
Elijah's head drooped, his body leaning against yours. You would not let him die, not here, not after everything you'd been through.
The sky was a brilliant orange, the leaves of the trees tinted red. You gazed into the dark trees of the forest, looking for any sign of Henrik and Gerda.
Your eyes searched for them, and then you saw a glimpse of movement, and heard a snapping of twigs. You caught your breath, hope flaring in your chest. Then you saw him, Henrik, the bravest little warrior. He was holding a stick he had whittled, his eyes wide, his body shaking.
Niklaus immediately dismounted his horse, running to Henrik.
"You're alive!" Henrik exclaimed, his voice filled with relief, immediately dropping the weapon.
"So are you," Niklaus said, his eyes shining with unshed tears.
Niklaus picked him up, squeezing Henrik so tight it hurt, the two of them laughing and crying at the same time. Henrik had his arms wrapped around his neck, his legs dangling in the air.
"I got him," he whispered, his voice shaky. "The one who killed Finn,"
Niklaus looked at you in surprise and you nodded, Henrik beamed with pride, a wide smile on his face.
"Einar Blackthorne was no match for a Mikaelson," you said, your tone soft, gentle.
Niklaus smiled at that, his eyes crinkling.
Gerda, Henrik and Niklaus quickly made camp, setting up a small fire and putting together a makeshift bed for Elijah.
Niklaus watched you tend to Elijah's wounds, the way you carefully cleaned the gashes and cuts, your fingers gently brushing against his skin. He felt a pang of jealousy, a feeling he was unfamiliar with. You had never been particularly close to Elijah, but there was a tenderness in your touch, an intimacy he didn't like.
He noticed the way Elijah's eyes met yours, the way his lips curved into a smile, and it made him angry. But he told himself that you had been through a lot with him, that perhaps it was nothing, just the stress of the situation.
All of you sat around the fire, telling stories of your time apart, catching up on everything you had missed. What Henrik and Gerda had gone through was difficult for all of you to hear, and there was an undercurrent of pain and sorrow that hung over the group.
Niklaus shared the darling tale of how he, Rebekah and Kol escaped the raid. How Kol saved Rebekah and how she did the same for him.
You told them about what you and Elijah had endured, the aftermath of the raid, the storm, the cabin. Leaving out the part about the hot springs, now was not the time to tell Niklaus about what had happened between you and Elijah, it could wait until you were safe in the village.
As the night wore on, Henrik and Gerda curled up close to each other, their hands clasped, their eyes heavy with exhaustion.
You, Niklaus, and Elijah sat in silence, the tension palpable, the air thick with unspoken words. Niklaus was eyeing the two of you suspiciously, his brow furrowed, his gaze intense. He had no right to feel such things, not when he had bedded Tatia. And yet, he did, a deep, gnawing ache in his chest.
"I'm going to get some rest," he said, standing up abruptly, "will you join me?" He asked you, his voice tight, demanding.
You glanced down at Elijah, his eyes closed, his breathing steady.
"I should stay with him," you said softly, "I want to make sure he is okay,"
Niklaus frowned and his fists clenched.
"Very well," he replied, his tone cold, distant, "I'll see you in the morning,"
He walked away from the camp, his body tense, his mind racing. He felt like he was losing you, and it made him feel angry, frustrated, helpless. Perhaps this was his punishment for betraying you, for not being there when you needed him the most.
Niklaus woke as the sun rose, his head pounding and his joints aching. He rubbed his eyes, blinking the sleep from them, his gaze falling upon Elijah. He was drenched in sweat, fighting off a fever, his skin pale, his lips cracked. Niklaus grabbed his flask and held it to Elijah's lips, the water trickling down his chin.
He placed a hand on his forehead, the heat radiating off him, a sheen of sweat covering his body. His pulse was rapid, his breathing shallow, and his eyes were moving rapidly beneath his eyelids. Even though Niklaus hated seeing him in this state, he was improving, his fever lessening with each passing hour.
You had not left Elijah's side in days, cleaning his wounds and administering herbs and salves, anything to help fight the infection. Your hands had been tireless, working until the early hours of the morning, tending to him. Niklaus looked around for you, and when he couldn't find you, his chest tightened, a fear gripping him.
"y/n?" He called out, his voice hoarse, his tone anxious.
"She's in the woods," Henrik said, his voice quiet, he was whittling at a stick, preparing to hunt some small game for breakfast. Gerda was sleeping next to him, her hand resting on his leg.
"Where is she?" He asked, his tone sharp, impatient.
"She just got up suddenly and ran off," Henrik replied, shrugging his shoulders, his expression neutral.
Niklaus stood and walked into the forest, his eyes scanning the area, his ears straining for any sound. He heard terrible retching coming from behind a tree, his feet carrying him towards the noise.
You were hunched over, your body wracked with tremors, the sound of your stomach emptying echoing through the trees. Niklaus knelt beside you, placing a hand on your back, the other holding your hair back.
"What's wrong?" He asked, his voice laced with concern.
You straightened up, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand, your eyes watering.
"I'm fine," you said, your voice shaky, "I just... I couldn't sleep,"
Niklaus stepped closer, his eyes taking in the sight of you, your face pale, your body trembling.
"You don't look well," he said, his tone worried, "did you eat something that didn't agree?"
"No, I..." you trailed off, your mind racing. "It's nothing," you said, a weak smile on your lips.
He placed a hand on your forehead, you weren't overly warm, and he didn't know if that was good or bad.
"We should get you back to the camp," he said, his tone firm.
"I need more herbs," you said, trying to push him away, "for the salve, for Elijah's wounds,"
"We have enough," he said, his voice stern, "and you need to rest,"
"I'm fine," You snapped, pushing his hand away, your expression hard, "I can take care of myself,"
Niklaus was taken aback by your reaction, by the venom in your voice. He reached out and took your hand in his, his touch gentle, his eyes filled with concern.
"He will be okay, his fever is breaking, and his wounds are healing," Niklaus said, his tone calm, steady. "We will be able to travel soon,"
"I know," you replied, your voice barely a whisper, your eyes downcast. "It's just, I'm worried, and tired,"
"We all are, but the gods will not be so cruel as to take my big brother," Niklaus said, his voice soft, reassuring.
You let out a sigh, your shoulders sagging, a tired smile forming on your lips. The two of you headed back to the camp, the smell of food filling the air, Henrik and Gerda cooking some kind of stew.
You sat down next to Elijah, pushing his damp hair away from his face, checking his temperature. He was still too warm, his skin covered in a sheen of sweat, but Niklaus was right, he was improving.
"You'll be fine," you whispered, your voice cracking, your chest tightening, "just hold on a little longer,"
Henrik and Gerda handed you a bowl of stew, you ate very little, your stomach still upset. You needed to eat, you needed your strength, but you couldn't bring yourself to do it.
You helped Elijah sit up, leaning him against a tree, feeding him the broth, trying to get him to take as much as he could. He ate slowly, his eyes dull, his face blank.
"We have to keep him hydrated," you said, your voice firm, your eyes meeting Niklaus'. "He's lost a lot of blood,"
Niklaus nodded, his gaze drifting towards Elijah, his expression dark. "I know a healer who can help him, in the village we need to get to,"
"What's her name?" You asked, your voice low, your tone soft, still looking at Elijah.
"Tatia," Niklaus replied, his voice quiet, his tone grim, his jaw clenched.
You nodded, not pressing further, a feeling of dread forming in the pit of your stomach. Everything was going to change when they arrived back in the village, and not for the better.
The journey home had been arduous, the days long and tiresome. You had done your best to avoid Niklaus, choosing to ride alongside Henrik and Gerda. Elijah was healthy enough to ride, but not on his own, so you and Niklaus took turns supporting him.
You tried not to think about your little problem, the thing growing inside of you, but it was difficult. Your thoughts would stray, wondering how things would change once Niklaus knew. What would happen to you?
As the village came into view, relief washed over you, the weight of the last few months lifting. Niklaus had told you this place was safe, a haven for those seeking refuge, and you were grateful.
You followed him into the village, the people going about their business, the hustle and bustle reminding you of home.
An older man greeted you, his name was Ansel, he shook Niklaus hand, his face splitting into a grin.
"Niklaus!" Ansel exclaimed, his voice booming, his tone jovial, "welcome home,"
"Thank you, Ansel," Niklaus replied, his own smile matching the older man's, "this is y/n, my betrothed,"
"Y/n," Ansel replied, his gaze drifting towards you, his eyes lighting up, "what a beauty, congratulations,"
"Thank you," you replied, smiling at the older man, "it's nice to meet you,"
"Let's get you all settled in," Ansel said, gesturing for the group to follow him, "you must be tired after your journey,"
Before you could take another step you were lifted off the ground by a pair of strong arms, a familiar voice shouting with excitement.
"Kol!" You exclaimed, hugging him back, a wave of happiness washing over you.
"We missed you," he replied, placing you back on the ground, his hands still on your shoulders, his gaze searching yours, "we were all so worried,"
Rebekah practically shoved Kol out of the way, her arms wrapping around you, the two of you embracing tightly.
"You're safe," she said, her voice choked, tears falling freely, "I'm so glad,"
"Me too," you replied, holding her close, the two of you not letting go
“I'm so glad you're home," she said softly, pulling away from you to hug her siblings.
"So am I," you replied, watching the siblings reunite, a genuine smile on your lips.
Kol and Niklaus led the way to the healer's hut, the two of you following behind, Elijah resting between them.
Tatia was outside, tending to her plants, she glanced up, her eyes meeting Niklaus', a flicker of emotion passing over her face. She was beautiful, her features delicate, her long, dark hair was loose, flowing down her back.
"Niklaus," she said, her voice soft, melodic, "you're back,"
"Tatia," His voice went soft, his gaze intense, "I've missed you,"
"And I you," she replied, her eyes roaming his body, taking him in, her lips curving into a smile.
You looked between the two of them and could see the chemistry, the heat, the electricity. You thought that you should perhaps feel jealousy, but there was none. The two of them looked good together, the perfect pair, and you felt happy for him.
Tatia turned her attention towards Elijah, her face becoming serious.
"Bring him inside," she said, her tone clinical, her expression neutral.
She helped lay him down, her fingers examining the cuts and gashes, her lips pursed.
"He's lost a lot of blood," she said, her voice quiet, her eyes meeting Niklaus, "but he will recover, with time and rest,"
You let out a breath you hadn't realised you'd been holding, the relief flooding through you. You felt lightheaded and your vision started to swim, the ground coming up to meet you. Niklaus caught you, his arm wrapping around your waist, his body steadying yours. He led you to a nearby chair and kneeled before you, his eyes full of concern.
"Are you alright?" He asked, his voice low, his hands resting on your legs, his touch comforting.
"Yes," you replied, a weak smile forming on your lips, "I'm fine, just tired,"
Tatia handed you a cup of water, you drank deeply, the cool liquid soothing your parched throat.
"Thank you," you said, your voice hoarse, your eyes meeting hers.
"Of course," she replied, her tone warm, she turned to look at Niklaus, giving him a gentle smile, "you've all been through a lot, you need rest,"
"Come 'Nik, they are having a feast tonight, in our honour," Kol said, his tone light, his gaze falling on Rebekah, "they want to celebrate the return of their brave warriors,"
"That's very generous," Niklaus replied, his eyes never leaving Tatia, "but I think I'll stay here,"
"Nonsense!" Rebekah exclaimed, her eyes shining, "Elijah will be fine, and y/n needs to rest,"
"I'd really rather just-" Niklaus began, but you cut him off.
"Niklaus," you said softly, your eyes meeting his, "Go and enjoy the festivities,"
He hesitated for a moment, his gaze moving between you and Tatia, conflict etched across his face.
"Very well," he replied, standing up and kissing your cheek, his eyes softening, "I'll check on you later,"
You watched him and the rest of the Mikaelson family leave the hut, with only you, Tatia and Elijah remaining. Tatia stood over Elijah, her fingers working to clean and bandage his wounds, her gaze focused, her expression serious.
"Thank you," you said, your voice barely a whisper, your gaze meeting hers, "for taking care of him,"
"It's my duty," she replied, her tone matter-of-fact, her eyes never leaving Elijah, "the people in this village rely on me, they trust me to take care of them,"
"I understand," you said, nodding, a small smile forming on your lips, "It's not an easy job,"
"No, it isn't," she said, her gaze moving towards you, a look of understanding passing between the two of you, "but it's a job that someone has to do,"
"But one must not neglect oneself when caring for others," Tatia continued, a smile spreading across her face, "we cannot be our best if we are not our healthiest,"
You watched her heat some water over a fire, adding some herbs, stirring the concoction, the smell of it filling the hut.
"Here, drink this, it will help with the fatigue," she said, handing you a cup of the herbal tea, "are you hurt anywhere?"
"No," you replied, taking a sip, the warm liquid soothing your aching muscles, "I'm fine, just a couple scrapes and bruises,"
Tatia nodded and knelt down and pressed her hand into your stomach, feeling around.
"Does this hurt?" She asked, pressing harder, her eyes meeting yours.
"No," you replied, confused, your brow furrowed, "should it?"
"When was the last time you bled?" She asked, her voice low, her expression neutral.
"About two months ago," you said softly, you already knew what she was going to say, but you didn't want her to ask, that would make it real.
"Have you experienced any mood swings, nausea, fatigue?" She asked, her tone matter-of-fact, her expression serious, "Any tenderness here?"
She pressed into your lower abdomen, her fingers feeling around, the look on her face one of concern. "Is there a possibility that you may be with child? Have you been with a man?"
"Yes," you whispered, so quietly, your throat suddenly dry, you instinctively looked to Elijah and Tatia followed your gaze.
"The father is not Niklaus, is it?" She asked, her tone gentle, her expression sympathetic.
"How do you know?" You asked, surprised, a look of shock on your face.
"It's my job to know," she replied, a small smile forming on her lips, "and to help those in need,"
"Can you... can you get rid of it?" You asked, your tone tentative, uncertain, a knot forming in the pit of your stomach.
"Is that what you want?" She asked, her voice soft, her gaze searching yours.
"Yes... No... I don't know," you replied, tears welling up in your eyes, the emotions flooding through you.
Tatia didn't say anything more, just squeezed your hand, the two of you sitting in silence, her presence comforting.
Elijah stirred a bit on the cot, his eyes opened and he sat up slowly, wincing as he did so.
"You're awake," Tatia said, her tone calm, reassuring, "how are you feeling?"
"Like I've been trampled by a herd of wild horses," he replied, his voice raspy, his gaze drifting towards you, "how are you? And the others?"
"They're fine," you replied, the smile on your face faltering a bit, "we're all okay,"
Elijah looked relieved, accepting the tea that Tatia had brewed for him, sipping it slowly.
"I'm grateful," he said, his eyes meeting Tatia's, "thank you,"
"It was my pleasure," she replied, her tone genuine, "but you need to rest, both of you,"
She ushered the two of you to another part of the hut, the beds soft and welcoming. You climbed on to the cot, exhaustion washing over you, the stress of the last few months catching up with you. Elijah settled down on his own cot next to yours, grunting a bit, his wounds still sore.
"How long has it been since the raid?" He asked, his voice quiet, his eyes meeting yours.
"A little more than three months," you replied, your tone grim, the events of the past few months flooding back to you, "It feels like a lifetime,"
"I can't believe it's been that long," Elijah said, his eyes filled with sadness, "so much has changed,"
You didn't respond, not sure what to say, the truth hanging heavy between the two of you.
"Come here," He said, his voice barely a whisper, his gaze soft, inviting.
You did as he asked, climbing into the bed next to him, his arms wrapping around you. The two of you held each other, your bodies pressed together, the warmth of his skin against yours, comforting.
You wanted to tell him that you were carrying his child, the words on the tip of your tongue, but you couldn't bring yourself to speak, the fear gripping your heart. He was still so weak, so vulnerable, and you knew he would immediately tell Niklaus, and you couldn't risk that, not yet. Niklaus never took betrayal well.
"We did it," Elijah said, his breath ghosting across your ear, his lips brushing against the side of your head, "we made it back home,"
You smiled and closed your eyes and let sleep consume you. You were safe, at least for now.
Niklaus weaved his way through the crowded longhouse, the celebration in full swing, his eyes scanning the faces, looking for his younger brother. He found Kol in the middle of the room, a group of young women gathered around him, their laughter filling the air.
"Kol," Niklaus said, wrapping his arm around his brother, admiring the group, "who are these lovely maidens?"
"Nik," Kol replied, a wide smile on his face, his eyes roaming the young women with the same hunger as his brother, "let me introduce you to everyone, this is Elsie, Ingrid, and Helene,"
"Pleased to meet you ladies," Niklaus said, his eyes twinkling, he took a long swig of his ale, his third or fourth mug of the evening, the alcohol buzzing through his system. He didn't realise how badly he needed to let loose until that moment, the stress of the past few months fading away.
"Kol has been telling us stories of the raids," Ingrid said, her tone breathless, her gaze focused on the handsome Mikaelson, "it sounds like you had quite an adventure,"
"My brother is a hero, he saved our sister with great bravery," Niklaus replied, his tone playful, his eyes dancing, "and the bards will sing songs of his valour for generations to come,"
"He's very brave," Helene chimed in, her cheeks flushing, her eyes never leaving Kol's, "I think we should reward him, don't you agree Elsie?"
"Yes," Elsie replied, her eyes bright, a mischievous grin forming on her lips, "he does deserve a prize, for being such a great warrior,"
The three women took Kol by the hand, leading him off to dance, their movements fluid, sensual. Niklaus watched them, a smile playing on his lips, he had missed this, the easy banter, the flirtation, the revelry.
He turned to see the most beautiful woman he ever laid eyes on approach him, a fresh mug of ale in her hands.
"Tatia," He said breathlessly, his eyes roaming her form, taking her in, "you are a sight for sore eyes,"
"Niklaus," she replied, her lips curving into a smile, her voice melodic, "are you enjoying the festivities?"
"Very much," he said, his eyes never leaving hers, the familiarity between them evident, "but it's not the same without you,"
"Is that so?" she said, her tone light, a flirtatious grin forming on her lips, her gaze meeting his. He could see her expression falter, a storm of conflict and pain lingering behind her eyes.
"I suppose you will be married soon, the village will be so happy, it's been so long since we had a wedding," Tatia said, her tone tinged with sadness, her eyes looking anywhere but his.
"I will," Niklaus replied, his voice low, his hand reaching out to cup her cheek, his thumb caressing her skin, "I'm sorry, I thought my y/n was gone, I would have not laid with you if I'd known,"
"It's fine, really," she replied, a small smile forming on her lips, "we had a wonderful night together, and I will always treasure it,"
"So will I," Niklaus replied, his gaze intense, his emotions conflicting, "will you dance with me?"
"Of course," she said, taking his hand, letting him lead her to where the others were dancing, her body pressing against his, the two of them moving in sync, lost in the music, swaying to the beat of the drums.
"I have some news, but I'm afraid the gods will be angry with me if I tell you," Tatia whispered, her breath hot against his ear, her eyes searching his.
"The gods are forgiving," Niklaus replied, his voice soft, his eyes searching hers, wondering what she had to say.
"If one betrays to reveal a betrayal, do you think the gods will forgive?" Tatia asked, her tone tentative, conflict etched in her expression.
"You speak in riddles, Tatia," Niklaus said with a laugh, his hands cupping her face, "please, just tell me what worries you so,"
"Your y/n," Tatia said, her tone quiet, her voice shaky, "She is with child."

Bound By Fate
Here's my entry for Day 3 and it's another longer one. Sorry, this is so late! I was surprisingly busy today. This was written for the prompt "Trapped." It takes place during season 3. Bonnie and Klaus can't escape a classroom at Mystic Falls High with magic holding them there against their will. They're basically being held hostage by Bonnie's ancestor Ayana.
“What the hell?” questioned Bonnie as she paced back and forth in the classroom. Neither Klaus’ physical strength nor Bonnie's magic would allow them to leave the room. Klaus had tried to bust down the door and smash windows but nothing would work. The familiar warmth of Bennett magic lingering in the air was the only thing stopping Bonnie from panicking. “Why would Bennett magic be trapping me in here with you?”
“It feels familiar. Ayana?” Klaus called out to the empty classroom and candles on the desk were magically lit as proof that his assumptions were correct. “Love, your ancestor must want us here for a reason.”
“Who is that?” asked Bonnie.
“Your ancestor. No one taught you about her?”
“You know I’m self-taught,” defended Bonnie as she wrinkled her nose. Her grandmother neglected to inform her of her powers until a year ago. If only Grams had told her the truth about her witch heritage instead of claiming they were drunken ramblings. “I haven't gotten to her yet.”
“You should've started with her,” reprimanded Klaus from the desk chair he sat in. “It's important to know your history, little witch.”
“I think I've heard her name before and you seem to have known her but from when?”
“It was long ago when I was weak and mortal. She was like a mother to me.” The fondness in his voice for Ayana caught Bonnie off guard. She could only imagine a mother figure to Klaus as being a nightmare, considering the monster he is now.
“So why are we here then? Was she malicious?”
“No, sweetheart, she was a healer and our village loved her.”
“Why does she want us here?”
“Relax and let her explain,” said Klaus as he stood beside Bonnie. He could sense the high schooler’s growing anxiety. He too was irritated but not with her. His aggravation was due to the feeling of being trapped as if he was caught in a spider’s web.
“No offense to Ayana but my ancestors haven't proven to be trustworthy.”
The lights in the classroom began to flicker. Blue smoke appeared and circled the center of the room. A tall, dark-skinned woman suddenly appeared in clothes from a different era. Klaus’ eyes widened at the sight of her. Bonnie eyed the woman suspiciously but deduced from Klaus' relaxed body language that she was not a threat.
Ayana appeared as regal as Bonnie expected, with her deep bronze skin and loc'd black hair cascading down her shoulders. Ayana maintained her orange dress and brown smock in the afterlife from her work as a healer.
“Bonnie, I did not do this to hurt you both.” Ayana expected Bonnie to be more excited about the new task. Every witch was tasked with being a servant of nature. Bonnie would be the leader of the millennium.
“Ayana, it is good to see you.”
“Niklaus, you certainly have not made me proud,” frowned the witch elder. He was such a sweet boy as a child and she hoped he would grow into a good man. He never had a chance with vampirism forced upon him by his parents.
“I know you would never punish me.”
“A millennium ago, I did a spell that would bind two powerful beings; the perfect pair who would complete each other,” Ayana said with more enthusiasm. Hundreds of descendants have existed since then and Bonnie will fulfill the prophecy.
“You performed it after Henrik died?” His family were at their lowest after Henrik was mauled by werewolves. It would only make sense Ayana channeled her grief into something stronger.
“Yes, you are those beings.”
“Are you saying I’m stuck with him?” Bonnie murmured as she looked up towards the ceiling and silently prayed to God that she had heard wrong.
“Exactly. Together, you two will end the war between vampires, witches, and wolves,” her ancestor divulged. Ayana didn’t find her prophecy vigorous, Niklaus had the potential to be a suitable partner and Bonnie was the strongest of their lineage.
“I'm in high school and I'm supposed to end a war,” the cheerleader exclaimed, holding in her anger. This was not how she envisioned her senior year!
“With the end of the war, the supernatural will need rulers to govern and lead.”
“Rulers as in royalty?”
“I always knew I was meant to be king,” boasted Klaus. He thought of himself as the king of vampires. Hell, he even practically wore a crown in New Orleans, since he ran the city, when he called it home. With Bonnie by his side, he would be Emperor of them all. “You're not up for the challenge, my little wife?”
Bonnie hadn’t looked at Klaus since Ayana revealed they were bound. She refused to entertain Klaus’ referral to her as his wife and continued to ignore him. “How exactly do we stop this war?” wondered the Bennett teen in confusion. She was a student, not a soldier. Or would she be a commanding officer technically? This was too much for her. She had exams to focus on, but Bonnie recognized the seriousness of the mission she'd been assigned
Ayana disclosed, “Your victory will be ensured by creating a unified family and continuing your bloodlines with the help of your own coven and pack.” Family was power and it’s the key to their success.
“Excuse me?”
“It makes sense,” Klaus drawled and smirked when Bonnie finally turned to glare at him.
Ayana noted, “That is why I brought you two together.” She knew when she first met the Mikaelsons that her bloodline would join with theirs. It felt like an eternity until her vision came to fruition.
“You sold me off to him!” choked Bonnie. Klaus was not the type of man she hoped for. He was too violent, too selfish. How would she survive life with him?
“I never said you had to stop the war tomorrow, Bonnie,” sighed Ayana. Her descendant must put aside her feelings for the good of the supernatural world.
“Klaus isn’t the person you remember!”
“I do know how to behave,” teased Klaus as he caressed Bonnie's face, pulling back before she slapped his hand away. “Sometimes.”
“You can’t think a child would be safe with your problems.”
“As a Bennett witch, you’ve had enemies since birth and so will our child.”
“Thanks, Klaus,” said Bonnie sarcastically. That's another reason why she should have been taught magic as a child. She felt so far behind in her magical studies. If she had an upbringing like Greta or Luka, then she'd be more prepared for war.
“I thought you would appreciate honesty. Fate has decided your future and you can't fight it.”
“I’m tired of there always being something or someone choosing for me. I want to control my own fate.”
“I'm afraid that isn't an option, witch.”
“I should be able to decide for myself what my future is. What if I don't want to be with you or if I don't want to be a queen or if I don't want to be a mother?”
Ayana stared at Bonnie's glassy eyes and offered no words of comfort. She remarked, “I never said you had to make those decisions today.”
“It is fine, Ayana,” Klaus interjected. Of all the witches to be bound to, fate was surprisingly kind to him and gave him the best. Bonnie’s physical qualities (her curvy and athletic figure), personality (clever and fierce), and magical power (she brought him closer to death than anyone had before) all made her the perfect mate for her. “I have time to change her mind.”
“How will you do that? Shove your tongue down my throat?” asked Bonnie.
“I'm going to be the husband you deserve.”
“I'll leave you two to it,” grinned Ayana. “And remember that you can't run from fate.” She knew Niklaus would make her kin change her mind. She made herself disappear, leaving them time to chat.
“This is so unfair,” Bonnie pouted. She should be thinking of school dancers and not starting a family with her enemy.
“You should be happy about being a queen,” stated Klaus who didn't understand her hesitancy. The throne was her rightful place as the strongest of her bloodline.
“All I've ever wanted is to be safe and happy. Fighting some war while starting a family won't give me that.”
“You can't deny that you want this. Little Bonnie Bennett probably dreamed of starting her own family back when you were a young girl.”
“I thought I was normal then,” breathed Bonnie with a shrug.
“You're too extraordinary to be normal. You were born to be a queen.” Klaus smiled at the blood rushing to her cheeks. He made a note mentally to praise her more often. He liked the effect his compliments had on her.
“With you as my king? What do you know about marriage?” Bonnie was sick of feeling confused and couldn't stop herself from asking questions.
“I know not to make the same mistakes as my father. A wife should be cherished, respected and listened to.”
“Did you treat your romantic partners like that in the past?”
“No, but I'd try for you,” Klaus whispered, reaching out a hand.
Bonnie took his hand in hers as she accepted her destiny. “I guess we can try to make this work.”
“And inevitably we'll try for a baby too.” The door swung open.

My Girlfriend is a Werewolf | Hazel Callahan
Pairings: werewolf! Hazel Callahan x fem! Reader
Summary: People are going insane trying to kill the new werewolf in town due to the fact they have a big bounty attached to their head. Y/n desperately needs the money but Hazel is a little defensive of the fact that the trio wants to kill a werewolf. Warnings: death, blood, werewolves. Not proof read. Sorry for any mistakes, English isn't my main language. a/n: something for halloween! Hope you guys like it! I really love reading ur comments, they really make my day <3
part two
The term supernatural beings wasn’t new to people at Rockbridge. The phenomena or entities beyond the laws of nature was something familiar to them. Angels, demons, gods and spirits people knew of them but they never expected them to be real and come to their town. But when a new lycanthrope had shown up to Rockbridge taking its citizens as bait made people worry for their lives not wanting to be killed by the claws of a wolf.
The first werewolf had shown up almost a century ago. A group of sorcerers had enslaved a powerful demon and when they had removed the spirit, they had put it in a powerful box named “triskelion”. The sorcerers had selected an honorable demon hunter to bestow the triskelion upon him. The power of the triskelion turned the hunter into the first ever werewolf who was full of rampage. After an ungodly amount of years of running in rampage, the werewolves disappeared, until now.
The people were going insane when it popped on the news that a student from Rockbridge High had been found with his chest slashed. The citizens knew that this was an act of a werewolf and they were coming to get vengeance on the town that had vanished them.
50,000,000 dollars to the person that brought the werewolf that was going around town dead or alive to the authorities.
All the news headlines were the same. Rockbridge was a town where people had monster hunting in their blood. Everyone wanted to get their hands on the werewolf for two reasons, the money they had attached to their name or the safety of the town, but mainly it was the money.
Everyone was scared, yes people around here were supernatural things coming from time to time but that werewolf had killed hundreds of innocent people. People were aware that he was powerful. Due to the things that were going around town, students were taught about the history of a werewolf and how to deal with one.
Lycanthropes have enhanced physical capabilities that are far greater than any human or animal. They had razor-sharp claws & fangs that could be used for killing their prey. All werewolves are seen with blue, gold, or red eyes which seem to glow, seemingly when the werewolves are feeling considerable emotion, oftentimes anger.
Although werewolves often use their claws to slash through things and slash their prey in half, they are quite capable of being used in gouging attacks and are often best-suited for holding onto an unfortunate victim while the larger and sharper canine teeth are used to kill. A werewolf's bite is indeed very powerful, easily capable of breaking the thickest bones of any animal of any size comparable to cattle and below. The tooth pattern of the werewolf is similar to that of a wolf, with four very large canines, two on the upper jaw and two on the lower, with four incisors in between each. Behind them are the premolars which are used to tear flesh, and finally, the molars at the very back for chewing. The musculature of the head is presumably that of an enlarged dire wolf's, in that the structure and shape of killing.
How did Y/n know all those things about werewolves? Well, she could assure you it wasn’t the fact she had learned it at school, that’s for sure. She had investigated, well all her friend group had investigated about the supernatural creature. PJ, Josie and Y/n were certain that they were going to catch that werewolf and kill it. All three of them desperately needed the money so they were going to risk everything to get it.
The reward had originally started at 100 dollars but as the beast killed more people or got older the amount would increase exponentially. There was a rumor going around town that they were going to push up to a rough $500,000,000 due to the latest kills the werewolf had done.
“Tomorrow’s a full moon. I personally think we should go to the woods and find that damn wolf. People don’t want to risk their lives by going to the woods on a full moon so it increases our chances of getting the money for just the three of us.” PJ said, placing her sandwich down as she looked at the new “lycanthrope” book Josie had checked out from the library. Josie and Y/n stayed quiet not knowing if it was a good idea to put themselves in the middle of the war zone. Yes, it was a huge amount of money but was it really worth it if one of them died or worse the three of them were ripped to shreds. Before one of them could say anything, Hazel Callahan sat next to Y/n placing a soft kiss on her lips.
“Hey babe” Y/n smiled softly staring at Hazel in aw while PJ threw her head back groaning. Hazel turned to PJ seeing the book in her hands rolling her eyes dramatically.
“Hazel. I’ve already told you this, you are not a part of her club. This is a private meeting and locking lips with Y/n doesn’t excuse you to the rules. So please do us a favor and leave” PJ replied, closing the book roughly sending a glare towards Hazel as she placed her things down not giving PJ a second thought.
“PJ, everyone in school knows that you guys want to kill that poor werewolf. It’s not that big of a secret. If you guys wanted it to be a secret I wouldn’t turn the cafeteria table into a detective string board, it’s a dead giveaway.” Hazel said while taking a bite of her food as Y/n leaned towards her.
“Oh, shut up Hazel. Poor werewolf? You don’t know a thing about our plans or about werewolves so why don’t you shut it” PJ exclaimed angrily, while she slammed her hands against the table.
“Actually, I do know about your guys' plans. Just because I sit next to Y/n doesn’t mean I don’t hear the dumb shit you three say. Werewolfs are dangerous and I know you guys act all strong in fight club. But we are not talking about teenage girls, we are talking about a man eating werewolf. They could snap you in half just by looking at you. Personally I think you guys should drop it, this week werewolves are as vicious as possible because the full moon is near and I really care about you guys to find you three dead” Hazel said, dropping her spoon to look at the girls seriously.
“Hazel, you are literally the strongest of the three of us. You almost killed Sylvie with that punch you gave her last week. You are inhumanly strong. If you helped us we could take down that werewolf. We could split the money four ways. Don’t you want to be ric…You know what scratch that. We already know you're loaded. Help your girlfriend out, you know she needs it.” Josie started looking at Hazel with sympathetic eyes. She shook her head now wrapping her arm around Y/n protectively.
“I’ll help and protect her by telling her to stay in and not do dumb shit with you two. Forget about that money, haven’t you guys seen how many people died trying to kill it. I know that werewolf isn’t trying to kill people, maybe it’s just defending itself” Hazel said defensively squeezing Y/n’s side.
“Hazel, since when did you become the biggest werewolf defender? It’s killing people so it should fucking die and rot in hell.” Pj responded in the same tone. Y/n let out a sigh making Hazel turn to look at her.
“I really need that money, Haze.” Y/n said, breaking her silence while Hazel looked at her with pity eyes.
Hazel knew that her girlfriend wasn’t one of the richest persons around. She lived in the poorest part of town and her parents barely made enough to keep the three of them alive. Hazel also knew that she really needed the money and that Y/n’s parents were at the verge of being fired. Y/n had big dreams, going to college with her friends was one of them but the bad income surrounding her life made it quite impossible for her to dream. Putting herself out in the wild to kill the werewolf would finally make her economically stable but at what cost?
Hazel Callahan was scared. Deadly afraid of being killed at night, but not because of the fact that there was a raging killing werewolf but the fact that people wanted to kill the raging killing werewolf. Hazel’s name was worth 500,000,000, everyone wanted her dead or atleast the wolf version of herself.
Hazel had inherited her great grandmother's lupine parvovirus which was responsible for her lycanthropy. Her “powers” had shown up around freshman year, superhero strength, innate wellness and immunity to all diseases, animal senses and enhanced mobility, combat ability, endurance and stamina, meta regeneration and much more. Hazel at first had everything under control, she had informed herself about everything and had managed to keep herself and everyone safe why she was in her wolf form. She had found in her basement inhumane chains, which she had found herself chained up to every full moon. But everything changed when her feelings got involved with her inner wolf.
Even though Hazel thought she had everything under control, when she had heard a football player talking about her girlfriend all she could see was red. She had ended in the middle of the woods, something that she rarely did after she became a wolf. As she tried to ease up out of nowhere the football player had shown up and Hazel had snapped to reality when she noticed the dead football player under her. After all that, hell had broken loose.
Everyone had it out for her, she had found herself trying to hide her wolf form but after that killing she couldn’t control it anymore. She didn’t want to kill all those people, but all of them came launching towards her and in her wolf form all type of hits were deadly.
So after the night hit, Hazel wasn’t in control, she became a man eating monster. All she felt was rage and hate. They had increased the bounty on her, which angered her more than ever. If people were really out to get her she was going to make their lives a living hell. Hazel stood in hiding waiting for someone to show up, she knew that someone was going to be brave enough to kill her before the full moon. She could see from her hiding two silhouettes approaching her area. Hazel took a whiff smelling the wolfsbane near, they came prepared, they had true intention. So before they could come near her, Hazel lashed out not even waiting for them to say a word, ripping them into pieces. All she could see was red, blood covered all of their bodies as she continued pounding onto them. Screams and cries for mercy begged her to stop which made Hazel go even rougher on them. She could hear both of their heartbeat stopped. Her breath became heavy as she tried catching up with her anger but before she could continue going any further she looked at the familiar lifeless eyes looking at her. She could feel her heart stopped and her body slowly shifting in her normal form. She slowly reached for her clothes, slipping them on quickly while looking down at the bloody faces. Hazel could feel her heart stop as she looked for words to say at the dead bodies in front of her.
At first, Hazel had felt bad for killing but as the weeks passed by she felt content because she knew they were out to get her. The people that wanted her dead didn’t have a reason so she did have a reason to kill them. But right now, it was like a sense of humanity had shown up once again. She felt horrible, like a true evil monster from those films she would watch with Y/n.
She hoped the pair would succeed in killing her, knowing that they actually needed it. That if she was dead they could be happy and she wouldn’t even mind at all. But now they were dead and all she could feel was the guilt spilling upon her. The people that had received her with open arms were dead on the floor. The family that had shown her nothing but love and accepted her in their family were dead because of her. The two people that had supported Hazel through everything while her mom and dad were mia, were dead.
Y/n’s last hope of family was dead, killed by the claws her girlfriends had. So not only were they dead, now Hazel was going to be dead to her.

*Also, not my photo. From Baek’s IG.
~*~
“Alright Mr. Weylan, can you tell me a little bit about what type of person you are looking for?”
As he spoke, you surveyed the highly-coiffed man in front of you, noting the sky blue cashmere Brioni suit and the distinct scent of cologne that smelt like it cost $500 a bottle.
Despite the urge to roll your eyes as the being in front of you listed his requirements–predictable to say the least–you schooled your features. Flashing him your charming ‘service’ smile you gamely assured him you had just what he was looking for.
After seeing your client off, you sat alone in your office, going through the motions of getting his matches set up. Your mind wandered, something that had been happening quite a lot lately.
Sigh.
When did this job get so…so…boring? Your former youthful enthusiasm of years past had been replaced with ennui at best and apathy at worst.
Was it your clients? Or was it you?
Lately, your clients seemed so predictable. Where was the uniqueness? The fire?
Before a client walked through your door, you were able to guess their type with upwards of 90% accuracy. You broke it down was follows:
Vampires: Delicate, sexy (but virginal), tall. Luminous skin, with a preference for bite play.
Goblins: Short (because they’re short kings), mischievous, intelligent, and into forging.
Frankensteins: Compassionate, loving, and kind. Literally couldn't care less about appearance. Good at sewing.
Incubi/Succubi: Good sex. Period.
And lastly, werewolves–
Werewolves: Voluptuous, sensual, and sturdy. Typically not as picky about appearance and–
“Boss, your 8:00 is here,” chirped the phone on your desk.
Strange. Mr. Weylan should have been your last client for the night.
“Elsie?”
“Yes, Boss?”
“We talked about this already, I have a date at–”
“Yes, I know, Boss. But trust me, you’ll want to see this one.”
“For your sake, I’d better. Fine, fine, send them in.”
You’d always known that helping immortals, many of whom didn’t sleep, find romantic fulfillment was going to be a 24-hour job, you just never anticipated tiring of it all.
Open 24/7 just like a fucking minimart.
No life. No lover. Forever fucking alone. God, the cliche of it all.
Turning to look in the mirror behind your desk, you fixed your hair, wistfully thinking it unfortunate that your date-night outfit had gone to waste.
Suddenly, the hairs on the back of your neck tingled, giving you the distinct impression that you were no longer alone.
A familiar pair of eyes met yours in the mirror, belonging to the last possible person you’d expected to see.
Your surprise must have shown on your face, as a sly, knowing grin spread across the asshole–your visitor’s–face.
“Ah, Mr. Byun, to what do I owe this distinct pleasure? I thought we had concluded our business relationship, per your request.”
Seated on your plush couch was Byun Baekhyun. A man who had made his fortune in tech, owning one of the biggest cybersecurity firms in the world. He was a big deal, everything he touched–businesses, inventions, people– turned to gold. There were rumors that he had ties to the underground, but this was just a rumor.
He was a big deal alright and a big pain in your ass.
“Aww, don’t be salty, Boss. A misunderstanding is all that was,” Baekhyun cajoled, patting the seat next to him on the couch–your couch–as if he owned the place.
You crossed your arms, taking a seat across from Mr. Byun. “I wouldn’t call you referring to my company as, “the worst t” on national television ‘a misunderstanding’, would you, Mr. Byun?”
Mr. Byun uncrossed his legs, learning forward. “Alright, let’s call it an unfortunate occurrence then. And please, call me Baekhyun.”
“Is there something I can help you with, Mr. Byun”, you said pointedly, refusing to take the bait.
“Why, yes. In fact, I believe you can. You see, I have a proposition for you.”
A proposition. A proposition?! What kind of proposition could this Grinch possibly have for you?
It must be business-related. Of course, it had to be. You weren’t naive enough to assume your charming good looks and effervescent personality had been enough to totally reverse this person’s worldview.
Was he in the market for a lover? You highly doubted that. A quick scan revealed a suit worth a minimum of $30,000, a watch worth double that, and loafers worth more than your monthly car payment. Not to mention, the swarm of media coverage that followed him from place to place showed he never had any trouble finding quality partners.
You decided to play it cool. “Proceed. I’m listening.”
“I like a woman who’s decisive,” he remarked appreciatively, eyes flickering from your head to your feet.
You pinched the bridge of your nose, trying to hide your annoyance. “Mr. Byun, I have many things–important things–that I could be doing right now.”
“Oh no, so sorry, did I interrupt your plans for a hot date?”
Your stony look accompanied by silence confirmed his theory.
“Ah, so I did. Oops, my apologies,” he said smugly, not sounding the least bit remorseful.
“Make your point, Mr. Byun, or please leave. Don’t waste my time.”
Mr. Byun put his hand over his heart, moaning and theatrically clutching his heart. “You wound me, Boss. Has anyone ever told you you’re a bit too serious?”
“Many times. Has anyone ever told you you’re annoying?”
That stupid, smug smile reappeared on his face. “Annoyance isn’t the usual reaction that I get from women, no.”
“This should be character-building then.”
“Indeed.” Mr. Byun chuckled.
Mr. Byun’s face turned serious and you hoped he’d finally get to the point of his visit here.
“As you know, I own a company–”
“Byun Solutions. I’m aware.”
“Yes, Byun Solutions is my public-facing company; however, I own another….side hustle, you might call it.”
“A side hustle?”
You couldn’t imagine why a man like him, a filthy-rich man like him would need a side hustle. You stared at him skeptically, a bid for him to continue.
“We’re a guild, of sorts, taking on requests and executing them per our clients’ wishes–”
“ –which I’m guessing aren’t all legal,” you guessed.
Mr. Byun’s eyebrows raised. “What gave you that idea?”
“If your activities were legal, this side hustle would be public knowledge. I haven’t heard one peep about it, so I assumed some of your activities might be on the other side of the law.”
“You’re quick, Boss, I’ll give you that. We’ve had a client request come in that requires some outside expertise. Yours, to be exact.”
He paused, not elaborating any further.
“This is all very interesting, Mr. Byun, but I’m going to need more information than that.”
“Of course, there’s just one teensy, tiny thing first.”
You smacked your hand across your forehead. “For the love of gosh, what?”
Mr. Byun reached into his briefcase, pulling out a thick, legal-looking document. He flashed you a brilliant smile, one you’re sure had charmed thousands of businessmen and women alike.
Pushing the stack of papers toward you, he pulled out a Montblanc pen and placed it on top.
“Just a simple non-disclosure agreement, you understand, I’m sure?”
Something felt off about this whole thing, but you couldn’t put your finger on what it was. Was it the fact that your #1 most-hated enemy was in your office asking you to sign some suspicious document? Yeah, actually it probably was.
“Come on, Boss. A little adventure wouldn’t hurt, no? Aren’t you tired of the same, old monotony?”
How the fuck did he know that? Was the man a god-damned mind reader?
You bit your tongue, not wanting to admit to this aggravating man that he was right. Hadn’t you just been thinking that very same thing moments before he walked through your door?
You cleared your throat, picking up the stack of papers to glance through them.
“Then I’ll need to read this through, thoroughly…you understand, I’m sure.”
Satisfied, Mr. Byun grinned, extending his hand in consent, his body relaxing into your couch, though his eyes remained intent on you.
When you were satisfied he wasn’t trying to con you into some illegal ponzi scheme or sell your organs on the black market for cash, you signed the paper with a flourish.
“Now that that’s out of the way, can you tell me what this ‘assignment’ is?”
“Of course”, Baekyhun replied gamely, “I need you to help me kill someone.”

On gods, 'werewolves are always blue-collar, poor, and poc' is not the fucking totality of werewolf fiction, and doesn't even touch on folklore and older works.
Here's some works off the top of my head with middle-class, upper-middle-class, rich werewolves, and or werewolf nobility:
Wolves of Wall Street (2002)
Little Women and Werewolves by Porter Grand, Louisa May Alcott
Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega series books by Patricia Briggs (there's rape, incest, and a boatload of misogynistic werewolf tropes be aware if you wish to read these)
The Wolf Man and it's remake
Werewolf of London (1935)
Blood & Chocolate (film 2007)
The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (2010 film)
Bisclavret
Lay of Melion
Le Morte d'Arthur
Sir Marrok: A Tale of the Days of King Arthur by Allen French
The Wolf Leader by Alexandre Dumas
Cursed (2005 film)
Full Eclipse (1993)
Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf
The Howling (film 1981)
Ladyhawke (1985)
Moon of the Wolf (1972)
Silver Bullet (film 1985)
Cycle of the Werewolf by Stephen King
Teen Wolf (1985) and sequel
Trick 'r Treat (2007)
The Werewolf of Washington (1973)
Wolf (1994)
100% Wolf (2020)
Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman (2000)
Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf (1988) (we don't forget that Shaggy has inherited Confederate plantation owner wealth in this house)
The Beast Must Die (1974)
Bad Moon (1996)
Thor by Wayne Smith
And as always pls fucking read some folklore instead of just basing yer knowledge on monsters on watered-down memes based on pop-culture movies and paranormal romance novels.

Lawhan and heart 😁💖
Send me a pairing and a prompt <3
@ellearts - Lawhan and Heart
Jack's ears twitch softly when they pick up on the sound. It's subtle thing, delicate and gentle to the point where it could have so easily been missed had Jack not been paying close attention to his surroundings. A small, uncomfortable shiver runs down the back of his spine as he makes sense of the soft noise, unmistakable in rhythm and tone but every bit perplexing to hear from so deep within the forest.
A human heartbeat.
Humans are incredibly rare to stumble upon in this particular forest, especially this deep inside. Jack remembers one of the first things Yuki had taught him after accepting him into the pack and the safety of his den: this forest is a dangerous place. Monsters of all calibers reside in the shadows, waiting for the slightest show of weakness to make their move. And, dangerous as it is for them, even more so is it dangerous for humans. Their hearts have a rhythm and pace so painfully distinct it cannot be missed or mistaken for another monster's by even the youngest of pups or fledglings. So ingrained in them is it to recognize the beat of a human heart, a sound indicative of prey, that humans last all of minutes in this forest before something devours them whole and suddenly, they are gone just as soon as they came.
Jack's head tilts in interest, and a deep curiosity bubbles up in the pit of his stomach. Yuki would chastise him, tell him to stay put and let him handle it - and for good reason. Jack is a pup, still stumbling over paws that are too big for the rest of his body both physically and metaphorically - but that fast, fluttering beat is too enticing. It's been far too long since he's seen a human, far too long since he's been human, that his natural response is to want to investigate.
And so he does.
He remains in his own human form, not wanting to frighten the human and draw more attention to them in a place where god only knows what is already hunting them down. But werewolves have the blessing of speed on their side - faster than any of the other monsters that live in the forest. Jack puts his nose in the air and tracks down the unfamiliar scent, running off towards the sound and the smell as quickly as he can. He's brought to a small clearing, a place he's acutely familiar with - Yuki has brought him here for training before in the past - and the sound of the human's heart becomes so loud at this point it's nearly deafening. Jack sniffs a few times, tracking the scent off towards the edge of the clearing where his eyes finally pick up on the slightest movement. He snaps his gaze over and is met with the silhouette of the human in question. He notices frazzled blond hair, half-slicked back and half dangling in front of the human's face as though it's been mussed through a few times by a nervous hand. The eyes are a muted tone of blue-grey, wide and startled as they come to rest on Jack's own fierce gaze.
The young man falters a moment, his heartbeat picking up pace dangerously within his chest, and stumbles back a few steps.
"Hey, it's okay." Jack says quickly, delicately, his senses easily picking up on the fear wafting off of the human in waves. "I'm not here to hurt you."
Slowly, Jack shows his hands to the man with his palms up and fingers splayed wide open. It seems to do little to calm the human, who reaches behind him for something Jack cannot quite make out. His senses heighten even further, listening and watching as the man grasps at the air behind him only to come up empty. There's a soft gasp, a curse beneath his breath, and Jack listens as the man swallows thickly in resignation.
"What are you?" comes his trembling voice, hardly above a whisper. Jack hears him with ease, head tilting slightly as he considers an answer to the question. It's clear the human is familiar with the strange inhabitants of the forest, which means Jack's efforts to keep himself from intimidating the young man are in vain. He already knows.
Jack clears his throat, "werewolf."
The human's eyes widen even further, a flash of terror sparking across his gaze as his heartbeat continues to soar faster. At this point, the vampires will pick up on the commotion and make their way to the clearing for a cheap and easy meal. Jack has to think fast if he wants to protect the man.
"Werewolf. Fantastic. I suppose you're here to rip my heart out then." the human says flatly, with a sense of false bravado that makes Jack frown.
"Not exactly. My pack is peaceful towards humans." He explains, taking a tentative step forward. The human does not move in response. "And you're not safe here. Your heartbeat is attracting everything within a few miles right to this location as we speak. You have to come with me."
The man laughs, something akin to a panicked scoff, and shakes his head vehemently. "Yeah, right. That'll be the last thing I ever do."
"No," Jack insists softly, shaking his head, "Refusing to come with me will be the last thing you ever do. Humans don't last more than a few minutes in the forest, so you're lucky you've made it as long as you have."
The man's eyes are cold and calculating, oozing with fear but brimming with something akin to interest as well. It's almost as though he wants to reach out and trust Jack, as if he knows his back is up against the wall - but Jack fears that the sense of self-preservation keeping him defiant to the offered help may be the very thing that gets him killed. There isn't much Jack can do in the way of gaining the human's trust, but he knows he has to try.
"You just want to lure me away to have me all to yourself." the man says, his voice trembling and uncertain. "There's no such thing as people-friendly werewolves."
Jack smiles softly at that, offering an amused nod. "Right. Well, if you knew anything at all about werewolves, you'd know that if I wanted you dead, I'd have ripped your heart out two minutes and fifty-four seconds ago when I first saw you. We aren't ones to play with our food."
The human winces at the term 'food', but otherwise keeps himself as still and unreadable as possible. However, Jack has the advantage of hearing his heartbeat, a small window into the emotions this man is trying to hide away from him. The fear is still there, evident in the panicked thumping echoing in Jack's ears, but it's calmed down ever so slightly in pace. It's working, however slowly.
"What's your name?" the human demands after a few moments, reaching up to run a hand through his already tousled hair.
"Jack. What's yours?"
"...Liam."
"Liam," Jack tests the name softly, hoping to make some sort of connection with the young man by addressing him directly, "I'd really like it if you came with me. I can hear at least three vampires closing in on us and I promise you they will not be as kind as I am."
Liam's breath hitches softly, and Jack can see the slight twitch of his hand as he curls it into a fist. A dozen different emotions flash across Liam's face before he finally sighs in resignation.
"You really won't hurt me?" he asks, and the incessant pounding of his heartbeat in the background is all Jack needs to know that Liam still doesn't trust him. Not yet. But in a last ditch effort to save his own life, Jack hopes he will come anyway.
"I really won't hurt you. But we need to get you out of here now. Your heartbeat is like a smoke signal out here. I promise I'll keep you safe, you just have to come with me."
Jack holds his hand out to Liam, palm up and open, expectant. He reaches almost desperately forward, without forcing contact between them to startle Liam away from him.
Liam looks between Jack's eyes and his hand, then back to his eyes, and finally to his palm once more. He takes a breath that echoes loudly in Jack's ears, before finally reaching forward and placing his trembling hand delicately within Jack's grasp.
"Thank you for trusting me, Liam. I won't let you get hurt."
Liam says nothing in response, but does offer a curt nod. His heartbeat, so loud and frantic, rattles around in Jack's brain as he tightens his grip on Liam's hand. It's a small start, enough for Jack to be able to get Liam someplace safe for the time being.
But there is the most subtle change in Liam's heart rate - it calms by two or three beats a minute - that warms something in Jack's own chest. It's not just desperation that drives Liam to Jack, no, there's a thin thread of genuine trust between them now.
and Jack has absolutely no intention of breaking that trust. Ever.

・You’re light in not only Stiles’ life, but the whole group.
・They come to you when life feels too much.
・You’re there with the kettle on, ready to hear their problems and read their tea leaves
・There’s always an animal worming their way around your legs, either a cat or one of your dogs
・You adopt as many animals as you can, usually from Alan Deaton, the vet.
・Scott likes you because you bring a sense of calm to Stiles’ chaos
・And Stiles didn’t realise he had a crush on you until Scott pointed it out.
・You constantly have to bring Stiles back down to earth. His mind is constantly racing and thinking about the next problem
・Stiles couldn’t help but fall in love with you. You were always so kind to him. When everyone else thought he was ‘too much’, you couldn’t get enough
・ It was your smile that did it for Stiles. That sweet, sometimes mischievous smile.
・You originally thought Stiles was one of those sceptics that brushed the existence of magic as mere fiction
・But Stiles was the first one to believe in your witchcraft:
“We have werewolves, Banshees and god knows what else. A witch seems the most realistic.”
・When the group doesn’t have any leads, they come to you for help. It’s not easy being a witch. It uses a lot of energy. You can do locating spells, but it drains you a lot
・Stiles hates coming to you for help because he knows how much it physically costs you
・Some teenagers like to graffiti your home - but they can only do it once. You’ve cast a spell so whoever tries to do it again loses their ability to talk normally
・It also means you know who’s been doing it
・Because parents panic and news always travels around town, the graffiti is next to non-existent now (also because Stiles makes sure to clean it off before you notice)
・He can be very, very stubborn. And often thinks he knows what is best.
・But he’s also ... very honest. So you know when he’s lying (he’s so bad at it):
“Stiles...tell me the truth.”
“The truth is ... that ... I ... am...- okay god stop looking at me like that.”
・Likes cuddling A LOT. But is fussy, and if he can’t get perfectly comfortable, then he wants to be the little spoon.
・Is a really heavy sleeper, and whenever he stays over at your place he’s the last to wake up
・LOVES when you make his favourite food. Literally falls in love, not even being dramatic. His mind is like ‘this is the one. I’m keeping them.’
・Loyal to. a. fault. Will die for you, will do everything in his power to keep you safe and out of danger. That’s another reason why he doesn’t like getting you involved in the supernatural stuff.
・You know exactly what he’s thinking, because you can see it clearly on his face.
・ “Stiles, do you tell my secrets to Scott?”
“Ugh, not the really secretive ones?”
・Sheriff Stilinksi loves you, he thinks you’re great for Stiles. You make his chaos less ... chaotic. He was a bit apprehensive about your witchcraft at first, but then he had the same outlook as Stiles. “At least you’re not a ...hellhound or something.”
・Stiles NEVER fails to make you laugh
・You find the most random things in his car. Ducktape, a metal baseball bat, keys to many, many buildings, rope. You asked him if he had a first aid kit, since he had everything else, and his eyes glazed over.
“I KNEW I was forgetting something. God!”
・You make protection amulets for him, and give him crystals. He doesn’t understand but takes them wholeheartedly anyway
・His favourite crystals are labradorite (”because I like when it shines, duh”), malachite and blue tiger’s eye
