fuck dude i love god troubles me so much because all the characters are fucking losers. none of them are cool. none. protagonist, chosen one, child of a god and monster? she's literally a one in a million failure. cringefail girloser. she's poor, she's lazy, she's an icon. threw a guy into the stratosphere twice and then cried in a haunted house. the pretty, powerful looking immortal? moron. malewife. pathetic with his cunty little outfit. never had a full thought in his life. he's a phone btw. the aloof, standoffish "cool guy", strongest in the Monster realm? he only cares about video games and cat food (he's a cat). idiot. prefers to remain as a cat 90% of the time so he doesn't have to do things. can't cook. they're all insane. nearly defeated by 3 bugs and a rat. whatever

I think one of the reasons why I love God Troubles Me is because it's a story about a woman living with two male gods and... there's zero implied romance? Like, absolutely none. Su Moting is never treated any differently for being a woman, and their friendship is never weirdly tainted by forced romance because she is a woman. It's something I rarely see with anime (I don't watch many donghua) so it's so refreshing to see strong friendships between men and women.

You guys should also watch God Troubles Me. It's a slice of life (until you get to like season 4, but after a few episodes it goes back to sillyness).

Anyway there are like gods and monsters and also humans. Gods can turn into objects and monsters can like turn into animals and yeah.

There are three main characters, Su Moting (a cringefail loser girl human whose parents are a god and a monster), Xing/Star Tianji (a malewife god who is Su Moting's phone), and Xing Dikui (a catboy monster who is Su Moting's cat)

There's a lot of references and it's just funny in general

There also a lot more characters. Su Moting's brother (he's actually a half-god half-monster thing) shows up a bit. There's an air conditioner named Airy. There's a cockroach and he has like a gang and also he tried to marry Su Moting. There's Wang Xiaobao who is Su Moting's childhood friend who also likes her and is trying to get her to fall for him. He's super totally hot. Su Moting kinda like hates him though idk. Oh and then there's the food god.

Also there's an alternate of them where they're not the dumbest people alive.

There's only 3 seasons no Netflix btw and idk where else to watch it (besides YouTube). I watched season 4 no YouTube.
