Do you have headcanons about how Deity Luigi from your AU would show his love towards Daisy? How would he use his powers for her?

Deity AU

For context: Luigi is a celestial god, and Daisy is a forest nymph

Oooohhhh that's an interesting question 🤭 To explain this, I'll break down how their first meeting went.

- Luigi is very cautious about approaching Daisy. It's love at first sight, and he watches from afar for a while before even getting the courage to talk to her.

- He makes himself appear more human, and carefully approaches her while she's walking through the forest. Being only a nymph, Daisy is by natural instinct terrified of him at first. Even though he is in a human form, she can sense something is not mortal about him, and demands that he show her who he really is.

- One thing about Daisy that Luigi has come to learn, is that she is not as submissive or delicate as other nymphs of her kind. She is loud, ferocious, and able to fend for herself. And he is drawn to her.

- Luigi is hesitant, but agrees in order to put her at ease. "Please don't freak out", he says, as he lifts off his mortal disguise and shows himself in his true form

- Even though he is keeping his power in check (so as not to harm her) he is blinding with sheer power alone. Daisy steps back, unsure whether to run away. But then she take a good look at him. And instead of seeing a ruthless god, she sees a gentle soul staring back at her, begging her to stay, to give him a chance. She approaches him and takes his hand in hers. She smiles at him, and instantly his heart soars. She trusts him.

- Luigi visits her regularly in his mortal form, so as to keep her and the forest safe (for a god's power is destructible if not in check), but there is a comforting presence around her at all times in his absence that she identifies as Luigi. For example, while exploring her forest home, Daisy accidently stumbles into hunter's territory, and she is pursued. However, the hunters don't get far before lightning bolts unexpectantly rain down from the sky and strike them down.

- Another time, Daisy is upset that a part of the forest is dying from the lack of rain, so Luigi sends a rainstorm that instantly rejuvenates the flora.

- Another one I want to add because I think it's cute ^^ While Daisy has a power that can make flora grow, she cannot ultimately make the life permanent. Her powers only allow her to assist the forest. When they both agree for Luigi to spend a night with her, she creates a beautiful bedding of flowers of many species and colours ^^ But she is sad, for she explains that by the time they will wake up, the flowers will be dead. Luigi then says they won't, and uses his power to have the flowers be gently dusted in a watery mist (but does not feel wet to the touch). He explains that the flowers are now permanently frozen in a time of life, love, and beauty, and they will never die out 💚💛

Valentine's day {2/3} <[Smg3 pov:]>

Smg3 put the phone on the table. He began to meet people who decided to gather in his cafe and take orders. Smg3 decided to give a small discount today for those who come with their love. Mario also came to the cafe and sat down at the table, putting the spaghetti on as if they were sitting opposite him and were his love of life.

3:Mario? What the hell are you doing?

Mario: I'm going to celebrate Valentine's Day with the love of my heart and life. Mario points to spaghetti; probably SMG3 is even glad that Mario is acting less irritable and more stupid right now. He decides to give Mario a discount so that he doesn’t cry like a little baby or something.

3:Oh yeah, this is adorable, Mario.

Mario:Can I eat it now?

3: Well, then I’ll cancel your discount.

Mario: No, please don't do this to me. Waaah, you are cruel!

3:You literally tried to kill me and SMG4 several times this week, and you call me cruel?

Mario: Canceling discounts is much worse than attempted murder.

3: Oh my God, listen, Mario, could you tell me why you’re not trying to destroy anything today?

Mario: Oh, um.

3:Did someone tell you to be less destructive? Are you planning something? Who else works with you? maybe smg4?!

Smg3 noticed that for some reason the cafe became a little quieter. A couple of visitors noticed how Smg3 was almost screaming, and he immediately became very quiet and calmly began to stand next to Mario.

Mario: Oww, Mario can't tell.

Smg3 looked at Mario again and then, looking around a little, continued talking quietly, but to himself.

3:This is definitely all planned by stupid SMS 4, but why?

The door to the cafe opened again, and Luigi was there. It didn’t look like he came for coffee or anything; it felt like he was worried about something and was looking for someone. Luigi looked at Mario and quickly approached him, while SMG3 decided to leave Mario, but when he saw Luigi approaching Mario, he decided to eavesdrop on their conversation a little.

"Luigi: Bro, it seems _____ is a testament to us _he has some other idea instead of a cafe."

"Mario:oke doki"

Mario ate the plate along with the spaghetti and quickly walked away from the cafe with Luigi. SMG3 was just glad that Mario didn’t order anything. Because he didn’t know then what to do with this poisoned spaghetti, no one here in the cafe even eats any damn spaghetti with poison. But Smg3 was also worried about what Luigi said. Could it be true that Smg4 is preparing something for him? or for someone... Smg3 just hoped that this was all some kind of joke or that Smg4 would just give him a friendly gift or something. Smg3 gradually began to feel strange; it seems that the power of the meme guardian is working on him again. Apparently,  Smg4 is already somewhere near his cafe. He decides to go to the table to take orders and just wait for Smg4 to arrive. He hopes that this idiot will not cause trouble in his cafe.

During this time, Smg4 managed to meet a couple of his friends and even Mario and Luigi, who seemed to be walking from the Smg3 cafe. It was there that Smg4 was going right now because he knew that almost every friend and acquaintance of friends of his was there. Even if there was no big reason for it, they definitely came there and tried to destroy something there or drink.

Because of their common strength with smg3, he began to feel his presence, which did not surprise smg4. He already knew that smg3 was there; it would have been stranger if he had not felt it.

He opened the door of the cafe and walked in. There seemed to be a small ringing of bells above his head. It seems that SMG3 hasn’t gotten rid of all the New Year’s decorations since that time, or maybe he just decided to add them as a warning to the visitor?

Smg4 adjusted his handbag on his shoulder with valentines and looked towards the tables and then straight to the cash register, but for some reason Smg3 wasn’t there; had he gone somewhere?

Smg3 went into the pantry for a while because, for some stupid reason, he got very nervous when Smg4 arrived. Smg3 decided to look at himself again in the mirror that he put in the pantry because he was going to put it somewhere in a better place, but he didn’t think of it yet and left it here. He looked at this mirror image of himself and was horrified. Oh my God! Did he really always look that stupid!? What is this strange black jacket, those punk boots, and those white pants? This is just a terrible outfit for someone who would meet this day with someone. No, wait, what? You don’t celebrate this day; you drive it out of your head. On the contrary, why should it suddenly bother you now? stupid day for the weak-minded. Smg3 nervously walked up to the door and tried to look serious, as if he didn’t care about the presence of Smg4. Who cared about him at all? You took and pulled the door handle; it instantly opened, and you left the storage room and began to confidently walk to the cash register, feeling that Smg4 was almost here. You opened your eyes and focused on looking cool—oh my God! You again closed your eyes for a while and then quickly opened them again. You saw SMG4 in a very delicate white and blue suit, with dark pants and a dark blue jacket, just like yours but not as cool.

3: Why are you wearing this sh*t?

4: Why are you dressed like a damn punk? Did you even look at the calendar today?

3: Oh, you know, I don't care what day it is.

I just want you to leave me alone and order something.

To some extent, SMG3 lied.

4: Don't worry, I’m not here to buy 20 boxes of coffee today.

You noticed how he quickly turned around and took something out of his small bag; you saw something pink, and you got nervous.

I'm here to just congratulate everyone on Valentine's Day, including you, even if you don't like this day.

He carefully took the entire valentine and placed it on your ordering table, and of course it was a valentine in the form of a heart. Oh my god. You seemed to feel some kind of panic but tried to keep a calm face. You obviously couldn’t do it; you were easily embarrassed, and for some reason, SMG4 was happy when he embarrassed you. This makes you even more furious and embarrassed. Smg4 was again delighted by your reaction and sweetly put his hands to his mouth, covering his smile and closing his eyes. You only wanted to cover your face with something a note book or your hands but you were in such a terrible panic and internal hysteria that you forgot how to move your hands.

3:WHAT THE HELL, GET OUT OF MY STORE!

You couldn't come up with anything better than to just try to look angry and outraged by this, which is a very big lie to yourself, but you need to not lose your reputation as a villain even more because of this idiot. You took the bomb, and you activated the bomb. Smg4 noticed it and decided to quickly run away, but you still threw it in the end when he had already opened the door, and you were still able to throw it outside the cafe. And not as usual, there was an explosion and a frightened scream from Smg4, but you know for sure that he is fine. Again,  the feelings of the guardian of memes are working on you.

What an idiot...

SSBU Canon Power Tier fixed

-= SOME EXPLANATIONS =-

Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Wario - These seven are the star children - people blessed with great power. So it makes sense to scale them with each other. Donkey Kong and Wario in particular have demonstrated feats correlating with moons, both small and big. So, it’s likely that the rest follow suit as well.

Link, Young Link, Toon Link - While Link may not have the same magical prowess as Zelda or Ganondorf, he can still hold his own against massive armies. Young Link and Toon Link, still being kids, are just a step behind him. I could put Young Link on Country-scale with adult-Link if we consider the Fierce Deity Mask, but it is a situational equip (only usable in major boss battles).

Kirby - If you ever doubted Kirby’s boundless power before, Planet Robobot straight-up describes him as having infinite power. This can well justify how he can scale up to just about ANY threat to planets or reality.

Fox, Falco, Wolf - I initially considered putting them in Peak-human, since they’re just pilots first and foremost. Then I remembered that there’s a bunch of different guns and explosives that they can use in Assault. So they get a pass in City-scale.

Ness, Lucas - These two were a couple of the trickiest to lock down. I know that Ness is granted power from the Earth itself, but we don’t see that power helping much against Giygas - so the power he received is still ambiguous. Lucas’s power was a little easier to get a grasp on, though. We know that he earns higher levels of PK Love as he unseals the Dark Dragon - a mysterious being that holds together the Nowhere Islands. They seem just big enough to be a country, so that’s the best lowball I can think of. Ness might be in a similar ballpark, since he and Lucas both contested evenly with Porky’s vehicles - and it’s implied that the one in Mother 3 is an improved model.

Captain Falcon - This is mainly based on the anime, where he seems to draw power from the Reactor Might, a cosmic fragment that he protects. While it doesn’t really make his punches planetary, the Falcon Punch we saw still gave off enough energy to suggest that his strength is in the megatons. Since Mario’s castle-punting feat has similar energy, I felt it best to put Falcon in Continent-scale as well.

Daisy, Diddy Kong, Bowser Jr. - These three aren’t star children like Peach, Donkey Kong, or Bowser. However, they’ve at least proven to keep up with the star children in their casual levels (Daisy even launched Bowser away once). So, Country-scale seems a reasonable place to put them.

Sheik - Why is Sheik in Country-scale when Zelda is in Continent-scale? Aren’t they the same? Well, yes. But the Sheik persona wasn’t just for concealing Zelda’s identity - it also concealed her power. So this is technically a self-imposed handicap on Zelda’s part.

Marth, Lucina, Roy, Chrom, Ike - Each one has led massive armies from the frontlines, and that’s besides wielding blessed weapons. It’s reasonable to believe that they can hold their own in battles against whole nations.

Mewtwo - I initially considered Planet-scale since it intended to spread a hurricane across the world. However, that hurricane didn’t spread fast enough to cause quite enough destruction, so its power is likely less than planetary.

Mr. Game & Watch - He supposedly represents all playable roles in the Game & Watch series. And most of these roles are of employed in high-risk zones - construction, deep-sea diving, even the military. While not canonically any Duon, he’s still clearly a tireless worker.

Meta Knight, King Dedede - Even though Kirby is in ?????, these two are in Planet-scale? Well, they can certainly keep up with Kirby’s own planet-busting strength and sometimes speed (Meta Knight can actually fly across the galaxy as fast as Kirby flies on his Warp Star), but they don’t have the same malleable power as he does. And, well, the day is typically only saved by Kirby’s hyper-adaptability.

Pit, Dark Pit - They’re certainly tough angels, but owe most of their successes to the powers and weapons granted by gods much stronger than they.

Pokémon Trainer - Wait, why is he ranked? Well, I figured I’d rank EVERY fighter available. And Pokémon Trainers in the main series show a great deal of superhuman stamina - falling long ways, traveling and biking tirelessly, going through very hazardous environments...No ordinary kid can manage all of that!

Sonic - I’m being kind of generous with this, as Sonic’s own strength and durability haven’t really stacked up to most other characters in the Continent tier. Though that is compensated most of the time by his Super Transformation - while it lasts, of course. Still, it can be hard to hit him when he pays attention, and he’s been able to compete neck-and-neck with Mario in the Olympics for the past 12 years. So I’d say this spot is secure for him.

Olimar - This tier was made JUST for him. And for Alph, too, but this Tiermaker didn’t have Alph, so...

Villager, Isabelle - They’re both in Peak-human mainly by how tirelessly they work.

Rosalina & Luma - The only other fighter in the ????? tier, and for good reason: Rosalina’s cosmic magic is unfathomable. She can pilot the Comet Observatory all across the galaxy, communicate with others from afar, and possesses strong telekinetic power. And that’s just part of what we know! She’s somehow lived for centuries, and together with the Lumas, they possibly have the power to restore destroyed galaxies! Her power couldn’t possibly be constrained to just planetary...!

Palutena - ...So why is Palutena in this category? Isn’t she a powerful goddess? Well, yes, but it’s implied that she’s among the weaker gods in the Kid Icarus world. We do see her capable of conjuring powerful storms and slinging around huge landmasses with her telekinesis, but nothing really suggests that her own power is planetary. In fact, all the other gods, by their own power, also rank at continental-scale at best...possibly.

Robin - Why is Robin a tier above the FE protagonists? Well, simple. Naga herself points out that Robin possesses the same power as Grima, even though he hadn’t succumbed to the Fell Dragon’s power. So, it’s reasonable enough to scale Robin’s full strength with Grima’s power - which, may I remind you, devastated the Archanean continent in the future.

Shulk - I may get some flak for this, but let me explain. Shulk used the combined power of three Monados - Zanza’s, Meyneth’s, and his own - to reshape his world. We know that much. But first, he had to combat Zanza, a being who essentially lorded over the world. Shulk’s Monado could match with Zanza’s Monado alone, sure. However, it also had the influence to neutralize the logic-manipulation of Zanza’s “godly defenses“. Still, this means that this Monado at least has the ability to bring down a mighty planetary being.

Corrin - Is it just because he’s an avatar character like Robin? Well, somewhat. It’s already stated early in the game that those that carry the blood of the First Dragons can easily handle whole armies on their own. That does sound like the other FE protagonists, but it goes further. Those with First Blood can influence the very land around themselves through Dragon Veins. Some can even wield divine weapons. In fact, Corrin’s Yato is believed to hold the power to devastate the world if misused - maybe its full power isn’t that ludicrous, but its Omega form is powerful enough to match with one of the First Dragons, Anankos (who can manipulate an entire dominion). And that’s not even bringing up Corrin’s dragon shapeshifting...

Joker - I’m gonna get a lot of hate for this, I bet...Anyway, this placement in Country-scale is based on his strongest Persona, Satanael, which serves as a counter to Yaldabaoth. However, while Yaldabaoth does merge the Metaverse into reality, we never see this extend beyond Japan. So while Yaldabaoth’s power - and in turn, Satanael’s - is great, nothing proves that it eclipsed the entire world. And even then, we only see Japan’s populace cheering on the Phantom Thieves (which triggers Arsene’s evolution into Satanael).

Why Aquamarine is what got me back into Steven Universe

Ok, so let’s talk Steven Universe.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with the show at this point. You’re most likely either a fan of it, or one of the people who think the show is grossly overrated. Honestly I only ever see two people in those categories. You either love the show to death or think people should stop talking about it. Me, however, I was always in the middle. I liked the show and it’s humble beginnings, it was a nice show with amazing art direction, wonderful use of colors, a cast of amazing character that are mostly female, and some really interesting plot points...

That’s what I used to think of the show. As time went on I felt like things started to slow down too much. The pace went from steady and interesting to something of a crawl. Characters were starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel for character interaction, things started getting less interesting and dare I bring up the inconsistent character proportions? I didn’t start hating the show, I just thought it was loosing my interest. I still think of the show fondly, even during that slow period but I just kinda stopped. I felt the show lost something of an edge that it had, some real conflict to give way to some good character interactions. Not that the show was bad, I don’t think I can really ever say the show reached a point where I can say it’s poorly made (even baring the Finger Cats in mind). 

Than, Aquamarine showed up.

Oh boy, Aquamarine. Where do I begin? Well, let me just say this for clarification. I stopped watching Steven Universe but I knew very well what was going on in the plot. I knew about Blue Diamond, The Zoo, The thing with the one Ruby, etc. So when I watched the two episodes with Aquamarine I wasn’t clueless and knew enough to continue watching. When I first saw her I thought “Daw, that’s a cute character design. I’m guessing that seeing as she’s asking for her dad, maybe we’ll see our first male gem? Or maybe younger gems see their Kindergartens as parental figures, or they have Male father figure gems in Kindergartens?” And watched these episodes to see what this cutie was going to do.

And than she showed up in I am My Mom and...holy fuck.

Aquamarine is a cold hearted bitch. She’s such a volatile, destructive, commanding, vindictive little fairy bitch...

And I love it.

This is the sort of conflict I was WAITING for. Sure, there was enough conflict before to keep the story going but I still felt that the show was going too slow for me to want to keep watching. This however, kicked things into high gear and I love it. Aquamarine reminds me a lot of how people saw Peridot back when she first showed up, but honestly, I think Aqua’s introduction to the show FAR surpasses Peridot’s. Not to say I don’t like Peridot (even though I personally think the writers of the show have been making her a bit...less interesting. I prefer the sassy smack talking gremlin we had, so hopefully this conflict will help bring that back)

But with Aquamarine, she was shown to be so cold. Remember when Peridot showed up and she just destroyed one of the orb robots with her foot? That was pretty intimidating. Although Aqua takes it to a whole new level by threatening Jamie with death. This is an important moment in the show because, well, think about it.

With most of the antagonists we’ve had their main mission is the destruction of Earth. Of course, that’s a bad thing. Although this is the first time the steaks are personal. We’re not dealing with a huge, cosmic destruction that will harm millions. This is a personal, hostage situation. Aquamarine is threatening to kill not just Jamie, but everyone she has captured if she doesn’t get her way. And considering the tone of the show before this, that’s a big deal.

Another one of my favorite things is when she says this line:

“But the Diamonds needed me, that’s the burden of being the best.”

Notice the wording of that sentence. Before this, all the gems working under the Diamonds have talked about them like the Diamonds are gods. People to be worshiped and feared, to the point where those gems felt The Diamonds completed them. This is completely different. Aqua is talking about The Diamonds like they need her. Like if Aqua wasn’t around, The Diamonds wouldn’t know what to do with themselves. Meaning that in a way, Aqua thinks of herself more highly than The Diamonds.

Let that sink in.

Aqua thinks more highly of herself THAN THE DIAMONDS.

That is a big deal to me because it goes to show how far Aqua might go for whatever sick goals she has in store. Something tells me there’s more to Aqua than her allegiance to The Diamonds. Honestly Aqua reminds me a lot of Fawful from the Mario & Luigi series.

Fawful, from the games he comes from, was an underling to the antagonist of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. At first he seems like something of a ratty underling to a higher power, until his resurgence in Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story where he becomes one of the strongest antagonists in the Mario Universe, and comes the closest in all of Mario History to destroy everything.

By the way, if you haven’t played the Mario & Luigi series, do yourself a favor and change that. You’re really missing out. There’s some rumors going around that a remake of Superstar Saga is coming soon so if that’s true, than snag that as soon as it comes out.

Back on Aqua though, I really look forward to more of her, and hope she’s truly as diabolical as I hope she is.

Alright I am biting since you want more asks for your AU! I am doing one for the deity au again! So you have explained in one message you sent me that of course Daisy and Peach would be devastated after their partners left but did they atleast got to say goodbye? What were their goodbyes like?

For Daisy I imagine that this is the first time she cries in front of Luigi where she understands that he must go but she is not ready to say goodbye. After he leaves and doesn't come back after waiting and waiting, Daisy is so devastated from heart break that she turns into a flowerpatch of daisies. A reminder of their love together.

I don't have anything for Peach yet but if you have different ideas from mine also regarding Daisy please share! I'd love to hear your perspective on this!

Deity AU

So I'm reading this but I'm confused over which goodbye you're referring to. Is it the one where they go to fight dark god Bowser for the first time, and Luigi disappears? Or the final battle where the Bros must destroy themselves in order to defeat Bowser for good?

If it's the former, then yes, Daisy would be devastated. In fact it's pretty heavy ;_;

I haven't thought too much about their first encounter with Bowser. In my mind, a disturbance appears in the celestial universe, felt by many mortals and gods. Upon investigation the Bros learn that this is dark god Bowser, a terrifying being that holds destructive power and must be stopped or he'll devastate the entire universe.

Mario is determined to put a stop to this, but Luigi holds him back, reminding him of Peach and Daisy. He wants to go and stop Bowser too, but they can't just disappear without letting them know first!

Luckily they need to make a trip to the mortal world anyway, as Bowser's mere presence starts casting a dark shadow over everything. Peach's homeland and her people start to get sick and crops wither and die. Daisy's forest starts to lose all the green and natural life entirely.

The Bros drop in to their respective lovers, and tell them what is happening and what they must do. Peach is dreadfully worried for Mario, but as she has already had an inkling of a dark force at hand, she allows Mario to go, but not before giving him a goodbye kiss.

Daisy is less complaisant. She begs Luigi to let him go with her, she wants to help. But Luigi is adamant against this. He needs her to stay here, where it's safe. Where the forest and the animals and the natural world need her.

And that's when (from your idea) Daisy sobs from this devastating heartbreak alone. She can't fight this. She knows he's right. But she hates it with a passion. Luigi holds her tight as she sobs in his arms. He whispers that he loves her, and will come back to her after they are done.

But hours pass, and then days, and Luigi does not come back. Mario drops in on Peach, his form so much more broken than she has ever seen it. With a heavy heart that makes it even impossible for him to look at her, Mario reveals that Luigi is gone.

He's not strong enough to face Daisy, so he uses his power to send her a message through the air. Back in the forest, Daisy instantly feels it. She feels Mario's sorrow, learns the truth about what happened to Luigi. And she lets out an anguished wail to the sky. If her heart could break any more, it would.

Unable to bare the anguish, Daisy retreats into a flower cocoon, and stays there for years until Luigi is found again...

Oh I love your idea about her turning into flowers! That is such a good idea ;_; I imagine that this would happen right at the very end, when the Bros make their final sacrifice to end dark god Bowser for good. After the battle is won, the effect on the world is instantaneous, and the people rejoice. Except for Peach and Daisy.

Realising with a heavy heart that their lovers are gone for good, they both make a prayer to the gods for them to be reunited with them one day...

I forgot to mention that Peach does have some demi god blood in her, but it is not enough to guarantee her a spot of a full god. Nevertheless, this link in her bloodline is what allows the gods to be able to grant her wish and have her be reincarnated many years later...

As for Daisy, her wish is also granted by the gods, and (as your idea implies) her body transforms into a patch of daisies that never die, while her spirit drifts up to be reunited with her lover one day...
