GOD the system metaphor in mentapolis. I know brennan, the PIs or even the crew didn't mean to make it so system-coded, but got did they do it and they did it well too. Like I don't think anyone can say any of the characters are bad or evil. Like everyone is a 3 dimensional character with hopes and dreams and I love that. God I love mentapolis.
