7. who do you think is the greatest of all time?

oh, what a great question... and i'm going to give you 2 answers to it.

the first answer is the answer from my heart: lewis hamilton. perhaps i am a little biased (i love him & he's in my top 3 favourite drivers ever) but it's not a completely wild answer either: statistically, he is the greatest of all time. FACT, as george russell would say.

however, my second answer is the answer from my head, and it's that... well, if one is to be really, truly fair, it's impossible to really choose a Greatest Of All Time. f1 has just been through so many very different eras (different rules, different numbers of races, etc etc) that it's not really fair to compare and choose only one who's truly the best.

Vowles you Evil man you've been leading him on for so long. He deserves better, I hope he comes back to F1 well and at a time where the grid can accept him, kinda like Mick I think.

I'm not sure how much of the lore you're knowledgeable about, but each full length album corresponds to a different part of the lore. Personally, I started with the song Mary On A Cross because it's a good entry to how they blur the lines between religious metaphors and other ones. The first album I really listened to was Impera, but I was crazy for Meliora for MONTHS after I listened to it the first time. There are three EPs that correspond with three albums, and one that is part of the lore. The three that go with albums are all cover songs.

I'm gonna ramble a bit on reccomendations

As for just general song reccomendations;

This is part of the lore, but Seven Inches of Satanic Panic started the band to stardom in 1969. Kiss The Go-Goat is one of two tracks on this single and is by far the funnest part of any ritual.

Ritual is from Opus Eponymous, the first album and why all their concerts are called "rituals" by fans. Also my number one song on my spotify wrapped this year.

My favorite from the second album, Infestissumam. Less popular than Year Zero and Per Aspera Ad Inferi, but just as good and touches on biblical type concepts.

A stellar track from the third album Meliora, all about humanity's penchant for greed and partially about capitalism. During the shows, fake money called "mummy dust" is shot from confetti canons, it's a 666 dollar bill.

Another popular track, but for very VERY good reason. Prequelle is sort of the start to the current era of the band in the lore, and it's honestly an underrated album. We don't talk enough about the other tracks on this album tbh, but Dance Macabre has the rainbow lights and the fun dancing during rituals.

Who would I be if I didn't reccomend the most heart-rending track from Impera? The original meaning is about the way the Catholic church treats its members, promising love but the bad stuff lurks under the surface

My (Review? lmao) Thoughts about The RENAISSANCE World Tour That No One Asked For

BITCH I WAS NOT OMFGGGGG

I am SO glad I stayed away from clips of the show (for the most part lol) truly made the experience extremely special. like this is really my GOAT. THEE GOAT. And I got to witness her live and in person for a second time. I'm sooooo grateful and hopefully I'll have another opprotunity.

BUT WE ALREADY KNOW SHE'S THAT GWORL SO IMMA FOCUS ON THE DANCERS!

Amari Marshall is a fucking STAR. That's all I could think whenever I saw her. Stage presense on 100000. She's impactful.

Les Twins were utilized very well! I haven't seen them dance much since i hung up my fangirl cape, lol, but their dancing felt soooo familiar and I really enjoyed them 🥰

DANCE CAPTAIN HANNAH DLAINE! Y'all like to try my girl, but I loved everything she was doing on that stage. She may look diferent next to other dancers, but those lines, technique, elegance, that CLEAN look makes her great and Bey's fave 🤭

Simone showed up and showed out for her hometown! Definitely took notice of that. Ai, Alannah, and Brianna really held it down like the OGs they are. Kyndall may be the baby on tour, but she definitely rises to the occasion! love ha. Trinity is so radiant! Truly. This is her first big gig and she's definitely not taking it for granted. a PROFESSIONAL. Lisa, Nerita, ans Aakilah are all sooooo STUNNING? Truly shook looking at the three of them. Ms. Aliyah Janell doeeeeees thiiiiiiiiis lmao she was eating it up!

The boys, Rob, Zavion, Jus, Konkrete held it dooooown. They were utiilzed so well, especially in comparison to the boys on OTR2, no shade chile 🙃

Darius is also VERY STUNNING. FACE. CARD. and he can dance his ass off some ppl really have it all 😌. I loooved watching Carlos lmao idk what is was but i always found him whenever he was on stage 💕💕💕 And Jonté! Male Beyoncé himself! an undeniable talent.

and a special shoutout to Cha Cha Balenciaga! ate that ball right on up!

BLUE IVY THEE CARTER. That is all.

As for the choreography, I love the direction Fatima took it in. I know there's been criticism over how much Bey is dancing, but I think its the perfect balance of dance and vocals. I don't feel like I'm missing anything. the choreo matches the vibe of the album, of the era perfectly.

MOVE is my fave choreo at the moment, but now that I can watch clips lmao, that might change! I just cant get that Move Your Body Girl/Free Mind mashup out of my head 😌

This was just me writing down my thoughts so I’ll always be able to go back and reminisce on how I felt. If you read this whole thing, just know...

FIRST of all.... Variety didn't do their homework, because Tom's film "Uncharted" made a killing at the box office and did well, and it's not a Peter Parker role.

Tom's other projects (Cherry, TDATT, CW, TCR, etc) didn't even get released to theaters, so.... what exactly are they talking about?

The success of Dune and Dune Part 2 has nothing to do with Timothée alone. That film is an ensemble cast, with various GREAT actors that many would love to see on the big screen... including some GOATS.... It's also the sequel to a film (based on a novel) that ended with a cliffhanger. That film would have made a lot of money no matter who you put in the lead role of Paul imo. 🤷🏾‍♀️

They could have put Tom in the lead role of Paul Atreides in Dune Part 2, and the film would have made a killing.... maybe even MORE money lol 🤭

Timmy has box office success with one movie outside of the Dune franchise ("Wonka"), and all of a sudden, he's now the "box office king" and "leading man" of our generation? 🤔

BTW, why are people still looking for the next Tom Cruise and Leo DiCaprio? 🥴 They are from an era of Hollywood and just life in general that no longer exists! We can't expect that in this day and age of social media, internet addiction, film degeneration, and pshht even just basic INFLATION, that box office numbers and "draws" are going to be the same as it was in the 90s and early aughts... like COME ON. 🙄

And Tom Cruise and Leo both exist in the same world.... why can't Tom and Timmy? 🤔 Why pit them against each other? 🙄 There's more than enough room in Hollywood for BOTH of them.... and they DON'T have to have the same careers.

Anyway....

I'm happy for Timmy (don't get me wrong), but they didn't need to shade Tom like that in this article imo. 😒

BTW, no offense to Glen Powell, but I don't even think he should be in this conversation. He's JUST now starting to do more lead roles, and ABY just happened to be a hit.... but every other film he was in, he was mainly a co-star or played a smaller character. Top Gun did extremely well, but again, that was more so due to Tom Cruise and the nostalgic feel of that movie. 🤷🏾‍♀️ jmho
