Sunday’s coral reef. I probably dreamt about submerging inside those turquoise blue waters while painting. I haven’t been on the reef for a while, perhaps I am feeling the call again. Today’s reef. I did this one after swimming teaching 😊 now it is time for a two weeks break. I will spend time with my girls but will try to sneak into my art studio. — My artwork explores ways to show nature’s beauty to create environmental awareness. I have a PhD in evolutionary biology and used to work with marine sponges and corals. I decided to “retire” at 37 to let the artist within me the opportunity to flourish. In a year, I have learnt so much and had the chance (finally) to practice my art and improved my skills. And I wrote a children’s book.
