Less an ask and more a comment, but I'll make it into an ask. I personally think I would love to be around little borrower tinies but my general vibe (especially while unmedicated) would be extra repulsive to them. It's the ADHD energy of never sitting still, always pacing, or leg bouncing, shifting my weight back and forth, being Loud, etc. Do you think any of your human (or non-canonly human) OCs would fit into this category? How do you think little folks would handle it?
Oh that's so lovely, we don't bring up mental conditions often enough in g/t scenarios (at least not that I'm aware of) and I think it's so important and interesting to show the difficulties of having to adapt to one's behaviours in g/t stories. It makes everything more interesting, not only we have the size barrier, but also the mental condition barrier, be it on that G's or t's side.
I don't believe mental condition habits would be repulsive at all! For the smaller fellas, it'd be part of the whole deal of having to adapt to the size difference, not so different for the big fella who also has to be more careful around them. It's all a process of adaptation and having fun with it!
Talking about OC's, I think human Toby would fit into this category coming to think about it, it would make soooo much sense if he had ADHD lol.
He'd definitely help Brad to move to someplace, like idk, to the top of the fridge and forget his friend is there and leave the room. And then Brad would be like "eh bud I didn't bring my rope- TOBY WAIT WHERE ARE YOU GOING I'M STILL HERE" I guess it'd take awhile for them to overcome this
Brad would probably feel like Toby's too dangerous to be around in the beggining, not only he's big but also forgetful and, in his perspective, unecessarily loud. But overall, it's all part of the package of befriending a giant. Toby's still nice, chill and friendly, he likes to be around him and seeing that he's trying his best motivates Brad to stay. The big dude may forget that his tiny pal was on his hand and start looking for him everywhere (making Brad inevitably laugh at it), but they have a excellent dynamic and Brad wouldn't change anything on his friend.
It'd be soooo angsty (I'm a bitch for that, I'm sorry) if Toby felt self conscious about the whole situation too. He can't help but notice Brad flinching when he talks too loud and paces around the house, making him wonder why his tiny bud keeps visiting him when he's such a mess to be with. He'd be extra careful, extra conscious, but just like Brad, be more chill eventually about it.
The habits won't stop, Brad learns to not be afraid of them. Brad will take some time to stop flinching, but Toby will do his best to keep his voice low and pay attention to where his friend is.
AND once they're all good with that, Brad will definitely enjoy being bounced up and down on Toby's knee, is like a mechanical bull for him. All the while Toby being "you're the weirdest, c'mon, come to the table" and Brad like "DON'T TOUCH ME I'M A COWBOY AND THIS IS MY INDOMITABLE STALLION" and then Toby "lmaoo I'm not even thinking abt it dude wtff"
#ask#g/t#giant/tiny#size difference#g/t community#brad#toby#euphoria au#sorry if i didn't add much to it#i'm not very familiar with adhd#but i like the challenge of dealing with differences#and adaptation is one of the best parts of size difference#why not make it more juicy#long post

Would you ever write a part 2 to moonlight kisses, where bucky and reader go on their date and reader expresses her insecurities about the date cause she never thought that he would go out with her, and the date is just pure fluff
Snowflake Cuddles
Pairing: Bucky x Reader
Warnings: Angst, insecurity. Fluff. So much fluff.
Summary: your family change their Christmas plans last moment and now you’re left with no one for the holidays. On top of that your new boyfriend can’t be that into you, can he? And how will his friends react to you?
A/N: based on the prompt, I know it’s not exactly what you wanted but I figured it might be a few weeks before those insecurities raised their ugly head. Also self indulgent, I’m sorry to all the Donna’s out there. It’s nothing personal (except for one, she knows who she is lol)
You were nervous.
After three weeks of dating Bucky you were hanging out with friends for the first time together.
When it was just the two of you it had been glorious. Bucky was thoughtful, tender and so very sweet and he made you feel like you were the centre of his universe. He made you feel unique and treasured, but now, now the doubts were creeping in.
It all started when your family ditched you on Christmas.
You were supposed to be travelling home but your brother who was getting married next year had convinced your parents to spend Christmas with his fiancées family.
“We’ll fit you in someplace,” your mom had said on the weekly family video call. It was Saturday morning with a little over a week to go until the holidays.
“But there is no space,” Donna said with a shrug. “My parents are having a big celebration and the house will be packed. A lot of my family will be there.”
“Isn’t there a hotel a few miles down the road?” Your dad suggested.
“Good idea,” Donna said smugly.
“I have to go!”you suddenly cried. “Somethings happened it’s all hands on deck!”
“What could you possibly help with?” Donna scoffed and you ignored her wishing your family goodbye and closing your laptop.
You resisted the urge to cry but things went from bad to worse as the day wore on threatening to unleash the dam.
“I’m sorry Doll, I forgot about this Friendmas thing,” Bucky said. “We have to cook something for it too.”
“That’s okay,” you said and it was. You didn’t want to be that clingy girl but you were feeling so sorry for yourself and snuggling with Bucky felt like the perfect remedy to your internal ailments.
Bucky cocked his head to the side and examined your face carefully. “What’s wrong?”
You shook your head. “Nothing.” You smiled as bright as you could. Bucky made a noise and next thing you knew he had pulled you to your feet and wrapped his arms around you.
He was warm against your body, and his lips dragged against your neck. “Babygirl.”
You shook your head again. His fingers dragged up your hips to your waist and you buried your face into his chest.
“Do I gotta’ tickle it out huh?”
You giggled and pushed at his chest but it was like shoving a truck. He stood solid gazing down at you with warmth in his blue eyes.
“I’m just feeling a little blue,” you admitted hoping it was enough.
“Ready to tell me why?” He probed. You bit the inside of your cheek and shook your head. “Promise you will?”
You could feel your cheeks heat up and you ducked your head but he tucked his fingers under your chin and lifted your face to him. His kiss was tender and sweet and you sighed into him. How was he always so perfect.
“Okay, so, cooking for Friendsmas,” he tugged you behind him to the kitchen. “I’m to do sides, so any ideas?”
You worked together all afternoon, preparing food and sipping ridiculous cocktails Bucky insisted on creating. You told him of your families beliefs and how they celebrated the winter season and Bucky in turn shared memories of growing up and his own family traditions.
Time flew past and soon enough it was dark outside. Bucky poured each of you a drink and you giggled when he gripped your waist and easily set you on the counter. He moved between your legs and gave you a sly smirk that had your thighs clenching together.
“Nope,” he teased his thumbs massaging your legs.
“What time do you have to be there?” You asked him as you smoothed out the wrinkles on his shoulders.
Bucky frowned, a look of confusion on his face quickly followed by realisation. “Oh sweet Dolly, is that why you’ve been down? You’re invited to Friendmas too,” Bucky said.
You swallowed. You should have been happy you were being included but instead nerves fluttered in your tummy. You would be there as Bucky’s girlfriend.
Or would you?
You hadn’t labelled your relationship, and it was called Friendmas. Maybe he would get there and see the stunning girls he was friendly with and drop you like a hot potato. He and Natasha had a thing? Right?
And they were all so amazing, beautiful and smart and highly skilled, you just did not fit into any of those categories. You felt average. You acted average. You were average.
Maybe Bucky was bored? Maybe that’s why he showed interest in you? Bored of beauty? But that was unlikely. Maybe you were a good time distraction for a few weeks…
You walked together to the main common room, your arms full of dishes of delicious food. Natasha was there already and she beamed at you as you came through the door. She looked stunning in leggings and an oversized Christmas jumper.
You blushed and smiled to her, suddenly shy. “We need to talk.” Her face turned stern and her tone dark. Was she about to chase you away from her guy?
“Go easy Nat,” Bucky’s voice was playful as he came to a stop next to you.
People hurried and scurried around you trying to warm food and get everyone seated so dinner could start. The chaos distracted Natasha thankfully and soon you found yourself between Sam and Bucky and opposite Steve.
You forgot your insecurities as you chatted to everyone around you. The team were playful and happy and you couldn’t help but relax into the group. Bucky’s solid arm rested along the back of your chair and you snuggled into him without thinking.
After dessert you found yourself in the kitchen alone with Natasha. “Leave that,” she said as you eyed the pile of dishes hoping she would head back to the party. Instead she caught your hand and pulled you away, tugging you outside and onto one of the swing seats. A blanket was tucked under you and Natasha rested her chin on her knee. “Spill.”
“Uh, a-about what?” You asked.
“Bucky,” she began with a chuckle. “You’ve been dating a few weeks now right?”
You paused, listening to the creaking of the swing seat as it moved gently. It was snowing, and you could taste the fresh cold on your tongue.
“I’m not really sure what it is yet,” you admitted.
“Is he romantic?” She sighed. Her eyes were soft and her smile sincere and you couldn’t help but think she was being genuine in her interest. “He’s been pining after you for the longest time. He better be treating you like a Queen.”
“I thought that you two-“
Natasha laughed. “God no! We’re friends. We hang out. Sometimes he sleeps over because he’s less likely to have nightmares if he bunks down next to someone, but we’re not like that.”
“But I thought, the other night, with your feet in-“ you flushed and Natasha smiled gently.
“He gives great foot rubs. He likes PDA’s, likes touch. It grounds him. Oh honeybee I can’t believe that you thought he and I were a thing.” She took your hand and kissed your knuckles. “He’s crazy for you, has been for months.”
“Really?” You asked.
“Really,” Bucky’s voice came from behind.
You startled and looked around at him. Natasha excused herself and Bucky took her place pulling you onto his lap. He used his foot to shove the swing back for a moment before letting go.
“You are so beautiful,” Bucky said. His voice was low and rough and it went straight to your core. “I want you to be all mine baby.”
“Okay,” you swallowed.
“I mean it. Something was bothering you earlier? Was it me? Did I do something?”
“No, no you’re perfect,” you said and he smiled, his eyes crinkled.
“I’m far from perfect,” he kissed your forehead.
You sat for a while thinking about your day.
“My parents cancelled on me for Christmas,” you said after a while. You explained the whole thing, your stuck up sister in law to be, your parent’s ignorance of your feelings. It all came out.
Bucky didn’t speak but his hands rubbed soothing circles on your back and over your arms. You snuggled close to him and he eventually dropped his lips to your hair.
“Their loss is my gain. I can think of nothing better than spending Christmas with you. We’ll make love by the roaring fire and spend the day doting on each other.”
You giggled and shook your head. “Bucky you’re going skiing with your friends.”
“Yeah, and I’m bringing my girlfriend now as well,” Bucky said.
“I can’t ski,” you pouted.
Bucky’s eyes lit up and he pressed another kiss to your lips.
“We can split our time between lessons and lovin’ baby,” he promised.
You laughed at him and his ridiculous ideas but you couldn’t deny it sounded fun. Your mind was already going into overdrive trying to figure out what you would need before leaving.
You soon rejoined the party and Bucky dropped easily into a large armchair, pulling you after him onto his lap. Despite the heat in your face you got comfortable on his lap and watched as the rest of the team argued over how to spend the rest of the evening.
No one said anything about you sitting on Bucky’s lap but you did notice several fond smiles being sent your way. Perhaps no one was surprised or disgusted, perhaps they were just happy for their friends.
“Stay with me tonight?” Bucky’s voice was low and rough as his lips caressed your ear.
You were nervous but you had nothing to be nervous about.
“Okay, I will,” you said pressing a playful kiss to his chin.

Can I ask about "Remind me next time Sky suggests doing a fundraiser to say no"? ☺️
This was from a modern AU fic that I sort of left off on because I can't write the Zeldas to save my life LOL
Anyways, here's a snippet explaining that first line/title
"Remind me next time that Sky suggests doing a fundraiser to say no.” A chorus of agreement rises from the assorted club-members as they wrap their arms around themselves a little tighter. “Hey!” “Sky, he’s got grounds,” Twilight sighs, too tired to even bother and try to put an optimistic spin on their situation. “We made good money!” “My car got stolen!” Warriors exclaims, throwing up his hands and sending yet more water flying to join the already freezing downpour around them. “We’re stranded in the middle of some hoighty-toighty neighborhood with no way home and I don’t know who pissed off Din, but are you seeing this downpour?” ‘This downpour’ was perhaps the most accurate descriptor. The rain had started out of nowhere, which only lent credence to the man’s theory that it was a fit of frustration by Din that had caused it, and it hadn’t let up in the hour or so since it started. They’d given up even trying to knock on doors not long after, what with no one wanting to hear them out with that much rain, and they’d been kicked off more than a few porches in their attempts to get out from under the weather. The frustration among the group is entirely valid, but even so, Sky still frowns at the agreement of the others with Warriors’ statement. Honestly, Time is just glad that he doesn’t say anything further. It was supposed to be simple day out raising funds for a children’s charity he’d been working with and telling the boys about. They’d all been excited to try and help out, and he’d been more than proud of their eagerness to get up early on a weekend and help raise awareness and gather supporters among some of the neighborhoods in town. It had been Warriors’ suggestion that they start uptown, being that he’d been working for the mayor as of late and thus knew the neighborhood well enough to get them around. Granted, they’d been checked at the community gates, but their pretty boy’s dazzling smile and fantastic pitching skills had got them in without a hitch. Honestly, the last thing they’d been worried about was someone stealing the man’s car while they were inside, yet here they are: soaked, grouchy, and with feet sore from trying to walk past giant house after giant house and back to the main roads. Honestly, he’s just shocked neighborhood watch hasn’t called the police on them or something; they look a mess. “We’ll find someplace to wait it out soon, boys, don’t worry.” He’d call Malon to pick them up, but she’s out of town visiting her sister in Horon, and even if she answered the call in the middle of the day, she wouldn’t get here for hours. “Yeah,” and Warriors really isn’t helping anything with his attitude. “Because a posh community like this totally has a bus-stop we can wait under.” If that kid doesn’t shut his mouth- No, he’s not going to smack him. Bad Time. No hitting the annoying young adult. No.

Probably not the discourse you want, but I literally lie awake at night thinking about why the fuck houses Rowan and Tarly sided with Rhaenyra. There’s not a reason given really?????? And Ormund Hightower had married Lady Sam not that long ago, so presumably they were down with the Hightowers then. Beesbury makes sense for obvious reasons, (lol) and the Lady Regent Tyrell deciding to sit it out because she’s a widow with a baby lord, but the rest? The Battle of the Honeywine bothers me so much???? It shouldn’t have happened. But I guess Daeron needed someplace to be daring? And also the Reach had to be nerfed, otherwise the Greens probably would have had more of fitting chance. This just drives me up the wall.
I’ve seen some explanations for why the Starks went with Rhaenyra, including that the Starks actually with the Velaryons in supporting Laenor’s claim at the GC, which is very interesting! Maester Yandel speculates it’s because they were still upset about the New Gift, but it could be for several other reasons, and maybe those reasons are still extant when it came to picking sides in the dance. I don’t really think the Pact of Ice and Fire, if real, is that compelling of a reason tbh.
Seven blessings, Branwen, and thank you for dropping by!
I have an entire tag dedicated to this topic, if anyone is interested. I have also tried to think of an explanation, but haven't been able to come up with many that satisfy me. It really does seem that George worked himself backwards from his set-ending of Aegon III and had to make sure the blacks won somehow, but, unfortunately, he ended up overpowering them, defying logic and resorting to many deus-ex-machina moments.
You make a very good point about why/how Lord Ormund would even marry Lady Sam in the first place if House Tarly didn't support Aegon II. Lady Tyrell wants to stay neutral, but somehow the Hightowers leave Garmund in Highgarden? So he can be a convenient hostage if the Tyrells decide to change their minds? The whole explanation with Lyonel Hightower and Lady Sam as to why the Hightowers couldn't raise a second army - I very much dislike it and really feels random AF.
@duxbelisarius pointed out to me recently that a lot of these places, governed by Reach houses that sided with Rhaenyra, cover the distance between Oldtown and King's Landing: Uplands, Honeyholt, Highgarden, Bitterbridge, Horn Hill, Longtable. That's mightily convenient, since it basically prevents another Hightower host from reaching the capital.
As for the reasons why - George is really going to have to invent blood feuds from scratch, basically - because I can't imagine that Otto spent all those years after Viserys' dismissed him as Hand and did not go on a full propaganda and lobbying offensive to secure the Reach for Aegon. When has Rhaenyra lifted one finger for the Reach lords, by the way? Why would the Reach lords not prefer a Reach-adjacent King to unhinged royal consort Daemon Targaryen? What could they possibly gain by disregarding Andal Law in favour of Rhaenyra? Don't they have bastards and elder sisters, too?
Even Lady Jeyne is a mystery, to be honest. Yes, she is blood related to Rhaenyra, fair. I could accept this explanation. But her claim has nothing to do with Rhaenyra's. She is her father's only living child. She is disputed by her cousins, not her inexistent little brothers. Lady Jeyne as ruler of the Vale is very much in line with Andal Law. Why would the greens take that away from her? She's been Lady of the Vale since she was a baby (under a regency) and no green has ever contested her. What exactly does she gain with the legal precedent of Rhaenyra taking the throne ahead of her brother? Lady Jeyne has no brothers. A daughter inherits before an uncle.
Furthermore, Daemon kills his wife, the kinswoman of her regent Yorbert Royce, and she is fine with it? Very well, it's more ambiguous in the books, but Daemon goes to petition Lady Jeyne for his wife's estates and she must have found that insulting, since she kicks him out of the Vale. And now she wants to commit her armed forces to help this man become consort?
Couldn't Lady Jeyne have decided on a military alliance with the greens in exchange for them supporting her as ruling Lady of the Vale any time she needed it? Or at least remained neutral? There was nothing to gain from throwing her lot with Rhaenyra.
The Starks may very well could have been upset by the New Gift, but that was Alysanne's doing, Rhaenyra's and Aegon's grandmother. What bearing does a long-dead queen have on anything? Yandel says this is why the Starks sided with Rhaenys/Corlys at the Great Council of 101, because they had beef with Jaehaerys and Alysanne, but let's examine that for the moment.
Jaehaerys and Alysanne are divided on this matter. Jaehaerys' preferred heir was Viserys. He had the ultimate authority to deny Alysanne re: the New Gift, but he didn't. Alysanne was the instigator in this regard. Her preferred heir was Rhaenys - yet the Starks vote as Alysanne would have liked? How is this payback/revenge, exactly?
Furthermore, Rhaenys is still a Targaryen, so it's not like the dynasty would have ended with her. I very much doubt Laenor would have used the last surname Velaryon if he ascended. It is very likely they would have reached a similar agreement like in the show, let's be serious. In addition, Rhaenys has nothing to do with the New Gift either? Neither does Viserys.
Also, the decision during the Great Council of 101 is very different. Both their fathers were dead by then, so proximity to the King is not an issue - both Rhaenys and Viserys are two generations down from Jaehaerys. So the question really is eldest daughter of the first son vs her male cousin (from the second son), similar to Lady Jeyne's predicament. By Andal Law, Rhaenys should have been Queen. The Starks, therefore, in a man v woman situation, prefer to vote for a man, even though the man in question is a cousin. Yet during the Dance, they side with a woman, even though the man they pass over is a brother, i.e. more closely related? What exactly are they doing here, just voting the opposite way Andal Law indicates, any time they get the chance? If the Starks are such staunch feminists, ahead of their time, how come Rickon's daughters, Serena or Sansa, don't later inherit Winterfell?
If you ask me, it would have been in the Stark's best interest (and in line with their ideology) not to get involved in this at all. What do they gain? What incentive do they have to side with Rhaenyra? An oft-given argument for the Starks is their honour and them not wanting to "break their oaths". But we already have an in-universe character obsessed with the law, that is Stannis Baratheon, and he eminently doesn't seem to think that oaths taken before Aegon's birth have any legal value - he calls Rhaenyra a traitor. So what oaths would the Starks be breaking then?
I don't know, at least the Pact of Ice and Fire could have provided some incentive for Cregan's support - he trades his military intervention for a future daughter-in-law - a Targaryen princess that's (likely) to come with a dragon of her own. I'm not inclined to believe Jace was as irresponsible as to marry Sara Snow, but if he did, Cregan also got a future Queen that could have influenced policy in favour of the North. It's a more straightforward and understandable military alliance - each party gains something by this agreement.
IMO this distribution of power for the Dance would have made more sense.

Experimental cc purge of Glennborough is certainly interesting. I’m sure I can come up with a ton of other things to do to avoid making progress on any of my existing projects.
Glennborough has more lots usable by an active farming household than Praaven. However, while the lots are larger overall, it does have a maddening tendency to create lovely farmland in CAW and then plop a farmhouse lot on it that’s just as big as the house. I’m not sure what the thinking is there -- you can’t run a farm on a non-lot, no matter how pretty the landscape is. I need space to actually garden and keep livestock and whatnot. There are even deco livestock (lol -- is that word singular or plural??) on CAW land. That just adds insult to injury.
Also, there are horses in households that don’t have box stalls on their lot, and that’s just trouble. OTOH, lot size isn’t quite as tight as Praaven -- there’s space on most residential lots to squeeze in a box stall if it’s relevant. On the downside, Glennborough’s central walled town is spacious and only supports a few households -- Praaven manages to really grab the feel of a dense medieval city.
I guess, to brainstorm, I remember that it’s possible for a household to own more than one lot. That might be a solution to the problem both on Praaven and Glennborough -- I can drop a custom lot down someplace using Edit Town and have the active household buy that lot to be their farm. In Glennborough, the secondary lot can adjoin the farmhouse lot and sit on the lovely CAW-textured farmland. In Praaven, the household would have to travel at least some distance to get to their farm, but I’m pretty sure that’s an authentic lifestyle for at least some serf-like peasants -- they have a small personal garden and commute to farmland owned by the nobles.
Praaven has the opposite horse problem, which is that households on the countryside generally don’t have box stalls, but there are box stalls in the walled city, which ALSO makes a mess. Praaven’s walled city feels very authentic, meaning the roads are narrow. I get regular stuck sim complaints about wedged horses in the city. I need to go root out those box stalls and remove horses from city households, then put box stalls on more country lots where they will fit, which isn’t actually as many as I would expect to have horses re tiny lots. I wonder if I added some tiny secondary lots to inactive households and put box stalls on them if NRaas-directed inactive behavior would handle these properly as an integrated part of the household.
Praaven’s incredibly immersive, and I’m not noticing any significant lag since I fixed the subway behavior for inactives. If I could have my ‘druthers, I’d reduce the map size and only have one peasant village rather than three with their duplicate churches and marketplaces. If I resolve my complaints and stay there for multiple generations, it does give me some variety in location, so there’s that.
My current plan is for Emma to be the heir and Alair to be the spare (Alair the heir spare, hee hee), mostly because I’d like to follow a woman around a bit longer after my foundress exited the story early. That means that when she marries, the active household will move. I don’t know that she’ll end up in another farm household, course, but I’d like for the world to have lots supporting enough variety of gameplay that Emma’s future household can have what it needs while Nash gets to keep one of the only lots on Praaven that can support an active-play farm.
I haven’t played very far ahead yet. Emma’s still a toddler in gameplay, as is Alair -- though he’s going to age up in a couple of days. Both have toddler traits that point toward fascinating storylines for me, so I’ll probably end up jumping back and forth more than I might otherwise.
I think I’ve talked myself into keeping Praaven for the next generation to see how it goes.

Alright I feel like I gotta step up my game so here go!
- pepper sometimes steals the boys shirts because they are very comfortable and similar to the boyish style she likes to rock from time to time
- minka has a habit of wandering off so the girls got her a child leash so whenever they go someplace she’ll most likely get lost/separated from them for her safety she’s leashed (they play rock paper scissors to decide who’s in charge of her at the time)
- speaking of wandering vinnie has trouble with that also especially because he’s also easily distracted but Russell didn’t want to do what was done to minka out of embarrassment so he came up with a better solution holding vinnie’s hand.why does this work you may ask? Because once he does vinnie won’t be the one to let go first or ever he loves the attention to much especially since it’s a way to show off that he’s in a relationship in public places
- Zoe simply cannot leave the house without makeup on she feels naked without it everyone has tried to convince her that she’s naturally very pretty but she won’t buy it m. the only one who’s seen her bare face is pepper and she misses that Zoe alot
- Sunil is not a morning mongoose he hates being up early and loves his sleep everyone knows not to (wake the bear so to speak) because of you do you get who pepper calls mr. Cranky all day long ( give him coffee and you get mr. Tolerable lol
- Russell once a year takes his dad to go visit his friends who for a week host a get together in rotation to hang and catch up the dads have fun while the sons babysit them his dad looks forward to it every year and Russell does his best to make him happy because he himself finds it hard to be there for his dad like he should and the guilt from that is something he’s working on fixing
- pennyling tells stories at the library since she’s so good at them she loves it so much and has become a favorite of the children parents often try to hire her for parties and get togethers but she often politely declines because it would put to much on her plate
- minka collects alot of random things she’s gets a little fixated on a thing for a while either because she likes it or thinks she can make art out of it somehow.so she now has alot of random things in general with her for that reason (including her friends fur) “it’s not weird it’s art!” - Minka
- (Touching from the other post) yes vinnie absolutely loves Russell’s body it took him a bit to actually be comfortable with vinnie seeing him in such a vulnerable state but vinnie was very patient and told him he didn’t care how long it took for Russell to do anything in their relationship he was just happy to have someone to give all his love to in fact every chance he gets a hug here, a hug there! here’s vinnie! hugging him ( vinnies used to the quills part at this point)
- sunil speaks Hindi to his parents and Sharukuh but still feels rusty doing it at all he even tried to practice but I tried to get his parents to speak more English for him - side note I do think vinnie can speak Italian because of his mom he just doesn’t use it that often anymore-
- speaking of psycho vinnie he throws an absolute fit if Russell or Sunil have to leave him for a long period of time for any reason crying, screaming, kicking, punching, begging, clinging on for dear life for them to stay he’ll do ANYTHING he can think of ✨side story✨ one time Sunil had a small surgery and vinnie waited for him with so much anxiety when the nurse said that Sunil was able to have visitors vinnie saw his chance and wouldn’t leave him once he made it in the room. He hates hospitals and didn’t like that Sunil was in one. he had to be dragged out kicking and screaming trying to get back in the building. (He did try a few more times to go back but was not successful)
- penny has a hard time seeing leftovers in the fridge because she doesn’t Believe in wasting good food.she is always tempted by them and gets anxious when she sees that they never end up getting eaten.
- sharukuh is super over protective over Sunil he’s also super into cars and learning how to fix them and collecting the ones he thinks are cool. he’s also likes to call vinnie “little buddy”no one knows how it started but vinnie now answers to it. vinnie kinda looks up to him a bit because he does a lot of manly things vinnie wants to learn so naturally
Ok that’s what I have for now I could’ve kept going but it feels so long now haha I hope you like them! Just to clarify I do see them as animals but more ones that act human kinda like in zootopia but they still look like themselves from the show if that makes sense
Other side note sharukuh is not bad to me he does have his own story but he’s not stuck up like in the show he actually met Sunil in college and has been in the group. since him and Sunil do also get together on some of my stories because it’s cute what they have atleast the way I like to see it
Ohh, a big, big number of headcanons is what Leffee likes! And since there's so much delight here to unpack let's start without further ado. And yes, I do have my handy dandy ice coffee with me.
okay, this one is honestly just precious. Can we all just agree that male clothes are more comfortable? Yeah? Good. Plus, it does align with how I imagine Pepper choosing clothes, so yes, basically comfortable T-shirts. I'd imagine she likes Vinnie's the most because they are super stupid, with stupid texts and images and she loves it
look, I- just... *laughs like a dolphin*. So true! She would, wouldn't she? She's on a freaking leash. I honestly don't think she would mind, the not wandering part she would, but not the being on a leash part. Though she would probably be able to escape as soon as whoever is holding that leash is distracted for at least a moment
yup, Vinnie does have a tendency to get lost, doesn't he? I agree. But omg, that solution is just the cutest thing ever! He would see something and start heading into another direction but Russell sees it in time and just quickly catches his hand, like "no". And once he does Vinnie immediately forgets about whatever he was distracted by because he's just this fixated on Russell holding his hand, ep! In fact, his tail starts wagging. Shush, I want a reptile to be able to wag his tail like a dog, is that so wrong ;-;
this is just... yeah, she would feel like it. That also, ironically, humanizes her a bit. Her tendency to care so much about looks I mean. Just adds that extra depth to Zoe. And yes, I absolutely agree that everyone has genuinely tried to convince her that she looks just as great without it. Perhaps Pepper at first was rather teasy about it but seeing how much Zoe actually cares about it she changed her tone completely and was like, "No, Zoe, I really mean it. I'm not kidding this time." On a kinda side note, I do think that at least once the boys had a conversation that went somewhat like this "You know, I sometimes wonder why our girls even wear makeup." "Yeah! I guess they look different wearing it but they look so good without it too." "True, they are all so pretty." In short: they love them and genuinely find them all so pretty. Please, give me that
yeah, I think the "It's a happy, happy, happy world" implanted that headcanon in all of our minds, didn't it? It did in mine at least. Not only that, but I imagine he just needs a lot of sleep to function normally. He's not a morning person (or a mangoose) and neither is he the night owl. He sleep all night long or suffers. And yes, he needs his coffee, I personally see him drinking literally the most bitter shit possible. Not because he likes it all that much, but because it's the only kind of coffee that wakes him up when he's up too early
oh please, this is just too precious. I just find Jerry so endearing, you have no idea how much this headcanon means to me. Also I imagine that Russell's friends just simply adore him as well (I mean, it was kinda shown in the episode so I'm not pulling that out of my ass entirely). In short: yes, great headcanon. I have a feeling I had something else to say here but I can't remember now :[
okay this just such a natural progression of Penny's story telling prowess, I'm genuinely surprised I never thought of that. Yes, she absolutely does. She could earn money from that, just saying ;)
okay, yes. As a person who loves having others' items even if they aren't in general anything extraordinary I so understand her. For example, I have this part of a pen of one of my classmates' from highschool and I take it everywhere. It's like my lucky charm or sth. Yes, she definitely has her friends' fur (and scales), tbh I do think they would be fairly easy to incorporate into art. Then again, I do think she's that kind of monkey who would never actually end up using those and just store these items until the end of time. I don't blame her. That way she can have her friends with her wherever she goes :)
yes, exactly, this boy is so full of love. Listen, he might not be a genius but when it comes to his friends, and especially when it really matters, he will do anything for them. Especially for his love interest that is Russell. It doesn't matter to him how Russell looks, it wouldn't matter if he suddenly lost or gained 20 kilograms (44 pounds), lost a limb or had 3rd degree burns, what matters is that it is Russell's body. I don't always make him unhealthily obsessive but in my mind he's always at least a bit obsessed over others, though to a more healthy degree. And about the quills part, I can't help but combine it with my headcanon that due to his constant falling and tripping his pain tolerance is above average, and with getting used to those quills? He's basically physically invulnerable
ok, not much to add here from me, I'll talk about Sharukh more later but for now let's just say I'm happy he's not an asshole in your version :>. But Vinnie? Yup, that sounds good. Did you take that italian part from my rambles? Anyway, yes. The thing is, I imagine his mother (yes, he calls her mother) knew at least a bit of English. He and his sister on the other hand were still very young when arriving to America so they learned the language much easier. With Vinnie being younger he assimilated it so easily in fact he's pretty much bilingual. But due to italian being his native tongue he still finds it a bit more natural. That's also the reason why he sometimes messes up words in English, especially if they sound similar. In short: they all learned it and since they live in mostly english-speaking country now they rarely use Italian anyway. But it does rub Vinnie the wrong way when he does. He can, he just won't. But sometimes when he forgets words in English he will stop for a second, recall the word he needs in Italian, translate it to English and then he can continue, like this: "Man, I could really drink some... uh..." "It's latte in Italian. And latte means..." "...milk!" Sorry, I always end up writing more about him than anything else, I don't even know Italian!
ah yes, Vinnie but he's fucking unhinged... so I guess just the regular Vinnie. Nah, I'm just kidding :3, anyway, yes yes and once again YES! He's best at his worst, I tell ya. It's so cool too, because anything else he can be or appear so chill abou. There's a fire nearby? Meh. He broke his arm? Happened before will happen again. But one of his friends leaving him or being in any sort of danger whether real or imaginery? He falls apart. He won't even try to stop the tears or any other reactions because they are just too strong, he couldn't if he tried. He'll cry, beg, rip his hair out, you said it all. And if everything else fails he'll just cling to that person. And that side story is just perfect. Small surgery? Sure, yeah, it's still a damn surgery in a damn hospital. He's going to panic and he's going to panic hard. He might as well be more stressed than Sunil at this point. He doesn't sleep, he just paces around and due to stress is so impulsive he won't stop at anthing. He has that feral energy, as you said, he kicks and screams, plus all that frustration combined with adrenaline just gives him extra strenght that seems impossible in his puny body and yet. That's sheer determination, desperation and instability. I mean, we've seen him when Sunil wasn't in the daycare for just one day, he ripped that thing to shreds. Two times actually. What do you think he'd do in any sort of similar situation but one that would go on longer? He's my little destruction and I love him
she's just like me fr fr. Well, kinda. But that feeling of anxiety by seeing leftover food? Now that's another good trait for a character that makes them seem more deep and that's always good
now this the moment when I talk about Sharukh more. It's so cool to see him being nice and mingling with our beloved seven pets/humans or whatever else. Him being overprotective over Sunil is actually so wholesome to see, you know, especially after how we see him act in his episode and that whole bunch of headcanons back in the day that made Sharukh Sunil's brother and made him basically bully Sunil. That was genuinely disheartening and made me really dislike this headcanon.
(tumblr was giving me some weird errors about word limit in one block so that's why there's this weird break here, I will continue directly from where I ended in a new block then)
[...] But as always I fixate on the Vinnie part. Him calling Vinnie "little buddy" is so fucking cute, it was a long time coming for someone to call him that, am I right? He's so- he's so little nnngh *cries*. But come on, that is just precious. I just imagine the whole group gathering somewhere one day and as soon as Sharukh comes he's like "Hi guys, and hello to you, little buddy." Just juust aaaaa *cries again*. See, Sharukh can be nice and even manly! I like him like that. AND Vinnie looking up to him (literally pfpfpf)? Great, just great headcanon overall
Ahh, that was satisfying, but then again when talking about lps isn't? Yeah lmao, I would love to have even more too but I guess that is enough for one post (I mean, it literally told me I reached some word limit). Not enough in general though :D. I'm always up to see more of your thoughts or headcanons, please, you have no idea how happy they make me, I really want to see more. I won't force you to do anything, but also please, please when you're in the mood and have time and want to, send more, they make me so happy. I don't care how long or short the ask is, I want as much as possible.
Alright, that's an actually interesting take, especially since based on all those human-like actions I thought you were talking about them as if they were humans. Nothing wrong with seeing them still as pets just more human-like! In fact, one of the reasons why I primaly imagine them as people is because they can do more like this, but the way you describe it allows that too so I can't complain. Yes, yes it does make sense, don't worry.
I have already talked about Sharukh but as finishing thoughts I'll add this: as long as he's not an asshole I'm happy to see him too. Plus, he calls Vinnie "little buddy", you have already won me over with that because that is just so cute. Not to mention that it also balances the girls-boys ratio. And he's tall! How could you not like him like that! Maybe I do want to kiss him.

In light of the new Owl House episode, I have some THOUGHTS about its excellent writing.
So, first things first, I wanna state something that everyone knows but we also kinda forget sometimes; TOH is a kid's show. Yeah, yeah, that's obvious. But also, that GREATLY impacts its writing. However, it also balances this type of writing PERFECTLY with the adult perspective on the world which ultimately does make it great for all ages. And "Yesterday's Lie" is the ULTIMATE example of this.
Luz's story fits the typical isekai plotline - but it also is an example of what real-life kids in Luz's positions want. Like think about her life in the first episode - she had no friends, she wanted adventure and fantasy and magic, and her mom and she weren't seeing eye to eye. She then got whisked away to a magical realm full of adventures, magic, friends (and a girlfriend!), and a mother figure who tries hard to understand her and loves the fact that they're both weirdos. The Boiling Isles is heaven for Luz, just because it's fulfilling all her wants and needs that she wasn't getting in the human world.
As someone who is going into the professional writing field and spends a lot of time in and out of class thinking about writing rhetoric, I've taken one or two classes about writing children's stories/media. And, obviously, children's media is written differently than adult media -- but specifically in the idea of values. Kids value different things than adults because of their perspectives on the world. Hell, the whole reason "whisked away to a magical fantasy world" is so popular in kids' media is because so many kids find themselves in that position in wanting that to happen to them. I sure as hell did when I was Luz's age.
Stories like these essentially are wish fulfillment for kids. And since they are wish fulfillment, that typically means that more real-life concepts such as abandoning family, missing the "real world", or any negative consequences are either conveniently written out in a satisfying way or are left out entirely. (Think how in Harry Potter, he's able to escape the "real" world without negative consequences because his family's abusive.)
(Also, fuck JKR btw but just using this example because this is the example we used in my one children's lit class.)
And what I'm about to say next also explains further how TOH is wish fulfillment, but it starts as a bit of tangent first. Just bear with me, it'll make sense.
Anyways, I've seen a few MP100 posts around that praise the show for having an adult "step in" and tell the child protag that they don't have to fight the villains because they're just a kid. And to me, that shows how MP100 is an adult-focused media -- because a piece of children's media would NEVER do something like that. That's not to say that children's media encourages kids to do dangerous stuff that harms themselves, but it's just not appealing to kids. Kids want to be the ones going on adventures and saving the day. They want to be treated with respect and be trusted as capable as the adults around them. And who can blame them? We all want that - it's just that kids hardly get ANY respect or autonomy. That's why kid's media where the kids are allowed to fight, be the chosen one, or go on adventures is so normal and popular: it's what kids want!
And that, again, is how TOH is wish fulfillment. Luz is allowed to go on adventures, do dangerous and stupid things, and she still kicks ass! Sure, Eda might express concern for her or say she doesn't want her doing something dangerous -- but Eda trusts Luz and is never angry when she goes someplace dangerous (think how she acted in "Separate Tides" when she found out Luz was also there in the cave).
So, ultimately, this is all how TOH's writing reflects its status as a children's show. Which is totally fine! And it's brilliantly written!
But as for the more adult-focused parts of its writing -
To state again, adults value different things in media than kids do. We (since I'm an adult) typically do want to see the more nuanced and darker side of things. We want the complexity. We want subversion of genre. We also want things that reflect our experiences. And TOH does this by addressing realistic negative consequences.
Camilla was upset that Luz left her. She cried and got mad, and even asked the questions of "Were you trying to live out some witch fantasy? Did you hate living with me that much?"
This is a genre subversion because we usually don't get this kind of confrontation in a kid's show. Typically, our plucky young protag who chooses to stay in another world faces no negative consequences for this choice (except for Marcy in Amphibia but for different reasons lol). But here Luz is, watching as her mother cries all because of her choices. It's not explicitly adult and tbh isn't mature - but it's still a level of nuance and character complexity we don't typically get in a kid's show/media. Honestly, it's most likely that adults are the ones identifying with Camilla instead of Luz in this situation - even if we don't have kids. Camilla, essentially, feels abandoned and rejected by her daughter. While some kids might be able to sympathize, it's probably mostly adults (and older teens) who have been through similar situations and emotions. And, in that, shows how TOH can also appeal to audiences in a more "adult" way as well.
But, despite that, it's still not a polarizing scene. It may frustrate some kids watching (or even teens/adults who identify strongly with Luz), but ultimately Camilla's words and actions are still understandable. She's not being evil or mean; she's just hurt. And that's clear! Even Luz sees it! But it doesn't harm the narrative appeal of the show being kids' wish fulfillment because Camilla can't do anything to take Luz away from her amazing life in the Boiling Isles. While she did make Luz promise to find a way back and to stay for good, she ultimately has no power to do anything. The status quo of the show is not changed and it is still wish fulfillment -- though, now, it just has some complexity added to the situation, plot, and characters.
In that sense, the scene where Camilla confronts Luz can still appeal to kids and doesn't make the show unenjoyable for them despite it being a more "adult-focused" scene. Sure, it adds complexity, but it's a type that kids can understand.
And that, basically, is just brilliant writing. It's such a perfect balance of adult and kid-focused,m and the writers definitely understand the values that both children and adults have when approaching media. TOH is definitely one of the best-written cartoons of this decade, and I'm so glad it exists.
Anyways, here's my essay. Thanks for reading if you got this far!

39 41 49 for Tobias? 😊💜
Thanks for the asks! :) From this list: OC Asks
For Tobias:
39) What is a skill he wished he had?
He's really gone out of his way to make sure he's knowledgeable in the things that matter most to him... medicine, science, cooking, dancing... sex... lol
But there are two skills he wishes he had, that he just can't seem to master. 1) Artistic ability. He's an art collector and very knowledgeable about art, but in spite of trying many times, he just isn't very good at creating. 2) He wishes he knew more languages. I HC that he has some fluency in Spanish and Hatian Creole. They're the two most common foreign lauguages spoken in Boston, and he learned some basics to help with patients at work. But he wishes he knew more of these two, and more of others, but it just does not come easy to him.
41) What do other people love most about him?
His wit and charm. This guy could charm the paint off a wall. These things come natural to him and he's utilized them since childhood. When he was shady Carrick, he didn't always use these traits for good. But it still led to most people liking him, at first anyway.
The positivity is something Casey adores about him. When things go wrong, he just focuses on what can go right. When they found out they were expecting their first child (completely unplanned), Casey was flipping out, but his calm "we've got this and it's going to be great" attitude changed her entire outlook. He carries this in every aspect of his professional and private life. The only time he couldn't conjure it was when Casey nearly died after their third daughter was born. During that time, his buddy Ethan stepped in and brought this part of Tobias back to life.
49) Does he think about what he wears or does he throw on whatever he finds first?
This is a multipart answer. lol
For work: He isn't a planner insofar as spending time coordinating each day's outfit, but he has a classic, leaning more toward European than American, professional style. He spends time making sure his overall wardrobe is easy to mix and match so that he doesn't have to give it a lot of time each day, and it works for him.
At home/play: If he's relaxing at home, he tends to be very casual. His go to items are jeans, fashionable sweats and fitted T-shirts. That's what he's hanging around the house in, and when you see him walking around Boston (later DC) alone or with one of his girls, this is what he will typically be in. But, if he and Casey have a date, or they're going someplace special, he is a fashionista. His style tends to be a little eclectic, leaning toward a more urban look. He is designer conscious and he prefers to buy from up and coming black and women designers. Casey always says she had to step up her fashion game when she began dating him.
Thanks so much for asking! :)

into the woods
WARNING: violence & dystopian themes, alcohol consumption, minor sexual themes -- no smut (yet?) but lots of tension
Word Count: n/a i hit the limit lol
Pairing: Yuta Nakamoto x Female Reader
PLOT: In this world, the only safe places tend to be within the various compounds that each community is confined to. Between these compound’s is rainforest where war, crime, and danger tends to lurk -- it is the only place where there is no law and no authority, which makes it the perfect place for those who do not fair well with following the rules of the few societal structures that exist. Y/n leaves the compound on a research mission -- going beyond her usual limits, in the risk of making important medical advancements for her people, and finds herself in the underbelly of the uncharted territory.
The afternoon air was crisp -- a very rare occurrence in the compound where most days were typically humid and damp. Weather like this usually meant others would be freely roaming around the grounds enjoying the outdoors without worrying about beads of sweat clinging to the sides of their foreheads or the warmth of the sun engulfing every inch of their skin.
You sat perched on the rooftop of the medical building watching as people continued with their usual tasks. Children with their hands firmly interlocked in each-others grasps spun in circles as they fell into a fit of giggles -- the warm breeze tearing through their hair. A smile spread across your face before disappearing once more as your eyes settled on a woman who pushed a cart down a narrow path between two other small structures as you noticed the slightest limp in her step.
You drew your hair into a bun before rummaging around the the satchel you had slung across your chest. Your fingers landed on the pen you kept tucked in a compartment of the sack which you pulled out and stuck directly into your mouth before diving in once more to retrieve the medical notebook you had spent years filling with information. You flipped through the pages as you landed on a particular section of the book you used to keep track of treatments you wished to further develop. After scribbling a note down about joint pain, and potential herbs and plants you wished to further research for its treatment, you closed the book once more and shoved it, along with your pen back into the satchel before zipping it shut and swinging your legs back over the ledge of the roof.
You crossed the top of the structure before descending a ladder that would take you back into the building, landing in a hallway that stretched across the third floor where approximately 7 rooms were located. Most staff of the medical centre stayed here, as the compound relied heavily on the availability of their services. It was a place you once stayed as well, before you decided to use her talents elsewhere. It was certainly rewarding to help others, but your curiosity in the field of medicine had gone beyond just working in the centre. You wanted to discover more, and you did. Now, you worked amongst a team of people tasked with the extraction of medicinal herbs and plants in the forest, whom the people of the compound referred to as scavenger medics.
It was one of the many roles that existed in this locked off town. There were shopkeepers of all sorts, members of the government who supported the Father of the Compound -- who oversaw the community as its official leader, and a military team that worked to secure the outskirts of the compound, often venturing into the unlawful lands of the forest to conduct trades with neighbouring compounds in the eastern parts of the rainforest where it was safer to conduct business. The West, however, is where many refused to venture at all. Only those who became ex-pats of the compound or those banished for the most severe crimes where released into the west side of the rainforest. And once released, they were never heard of again.
“Actually, they say if you go out far enough west you’ll find someplace better to live,” you’d hear kids whisper in school, growing up.
“No, they’ll cut your head off in the west forest!” was another legend that was commonly spread around the compound. But you knew the truth, or at least some of it. Yes, the west was dangerous, but it was also the part of the rainforest with the richest most rare resources.
Before the passing of your father, he told you all about the west forest, which he often snuck to in search of rare herbs and plants. The little cabin located in a quiet and secluded area of the West Side of the Compound (where most people avoided due to its proximity to the “bad” parts of the forest), where he raised you was positioned perfectly by the large concrete barrier that surrounded the entire community.
Only you and your father knew of the small opening he had managed to create years and years before that was concealed by thick shrubbery on the back of your family property. Because even the military could not patrol that particular corner of the wall due to the dense forestry that was directly on its other side, it served as the perfect blindspot -- and the only way you could discretely move in and out of the compound without anyone knowing, which happened to be extremely illegal.
The sound of your combat boots echoed through the quiet hallway as you made your way towards the staircase. You walked past a few open doors where other medics were tucked away in their boarding rooms, either resting, rummaging through books, or working away at their desks. As you reached the staircase you gripped the banister, preparing to descend as a familiar voice rang out to stop you.
“Y/n? Are you taking your leave of absence now?” you heard the head medic call out from his office.
You hesitated, wondering if it was best to pretend like you hadn’t heard him before deciding that it would probably be best to solidify the lie you had been preparing. You turned on your heels to stand in the doorway, leaning against its frame. Doyoung was by far the best medic in the compound and had trained directly under your father for many years. He wasn’t much older than you. Though you weren’t exactly close, you did see him often growing up. What you liked most about him was his calm demeanour and the unspoken trust you both had for each other -- even though you did stretch the truth about the nature of your research leaves.
“Yes, I’ve finished the briefing for the scavenger medics already. I’ll be off for about a week or so,” you mumbled quietly. It wasn’t until you peered around the side of the door that you noticed another medic sitting in the office as well. She was an older woman who was very caring but very nosy and had a tendency to ask way too many questions. You braced yourself as you watched her draw air into her lungs as her mouth fell open.
“A week or so? You’ll be gone that long?” she began while furrowing her brows with what appeared to be a look of concern, “And a young girl like you who lives on her own in the west end of the compound... I can stop by and --”.
You cut her off abruptly, “I’ll be fine. I don’t see visitors during my leave. It’s a part of my routine. I need to get some research done and reorganize treatment plans,” you answered cooly -- just as you had rehearsed.
“But, we have office spare rooms here. Wouldn’t you feel more comfortable if--” she began. The look on your face must have been ice cold because Doyoung cut in for you this time.
“Y/n, doesn’t like to be disturbed during her research leaves. I didn’t understand at first but her work speaks for itself. We’ll see her whenever she returns,” he said, looking up at you fondly.
You offered up a weak smile before nodding your head at him and turning to leave without another word.
You rested your hand on the banister of the staircase again, stepping down as the wood creaked beneath your feet. Just as you neared the bottom you heard Doyoung speaking to the female medic.
“She’s not unusual. She just takes after her father in every way and he was by far the smartest man I’ve ever known,” he reassured her.
You rolled your eyes. The nerve of that lady. There was no need to be mad, though. Many people thought of you that way but it was for the best because it kept them at a distance. Without that distance you wouldn’t be able to disappear for days on end without your absence being noticed.
The second floor of the medical building was very much like the third, except the rooms were larger and held beds for house patients while other rooms were used for medical checkups. The first floor, which you had finally reached was where medicinal treatments, from cats claw tea, to tuyuya vines extracted from the eastern parts of the forest -- everything needed for pain relief, detoxing, or even healing tonics like Ginseng were also packaged to be sold and prescribed to members of the compounds community.
You squeezed your way through the crowd of people who crammed into the small space as incense floated through the air, coating the lower floor with healing smells. People shopped for leisure and health purposes here, and came for their checkups. The compound was filled with people who worked to keep the community alive, and running as smoothly as possible. Those that did labour work frequented the medical pharmacy the most, and others such as midwives and cafe owners stopped by often to purchase supplies and products needed to maintain their businesses as well.
You pushed through the front door of the building, stepping right out onto the dirt road. The sky was beginning to turn a slight shade of yellow, signalling the beginning of golden hour.
“One hour until the sun sets, then...”, you thought to yourself, “I better hurry.”
You weaved through the people who strolled through the streets as the end of the work day approached as you made your way home, being sure to look up up at the sun as it moved positions, carefully keeping track of time. You took your usual shortcuts through a few back alleys while stopping to buy a few things like bread and matches and soon enough you had reached the west side of the compound. Mostly labour workers lived back here now. Most were middle aged and worked in the mines or in construction around the compound and for the most part stuck to themselves. A few had wives but once they had children opted to move to a more desirable area of the compound. You watched as the lanterns that lined the neighbourhood streets flickered on, faintly illuminating your path until you reached the end and went off road, trekking towards the bottom of a slight hill where your cabin was tucked away.
Most people may have found the area a bit frightening but you knew the true beauty of what was ahead. The sound of the creek that ran alongside the property was the tell tale sign that you had reached your destination. The sun was due to set any minute now.
You pushed open your front door, not even waiting a second to rest. You tore off piece after piece of the bread you had purchased and shoving them past your lips, savouring the warm before putting the rest in your pantry and dusting your hands off on your shorts before making your way through the small cabin to change and pack your belongings up.
A quick trip out of the compound into the west forest didn’t last more than a few hours at most but you planned to make the most of it to limit the amount of times during your leave of absence that you would have to sneak away. The second the sun would set you planned on venturing out and returning just before sunrise again since it was risky to approach the outskirts of the compound during daylight.
You changed into a pair of black pants that hugged your body and a short sleeved cropped shirt before throwing on a sweater overtop and a pair of boots that were light, yet sturdy enough to navigate the wooded areas of the forest. Next, you needed to pack the small rucksack you planned on carrying with you. You had your medical kit prepared which included vials, and baggies that you used to transport medicinal herbs and extracted liquids, as well as other smaller containers used to carry seeds and uprooted plants you retrieved from the forest as well as bandages, gauze, disinfectant, and tools such as scissors and a compass.
Finally, you entered your fathers room which had remained virtually untouched since his death. After quickly shifting the rug under his worktable and carefully lifting the floorboard, you clicked open a small wooden box where you kept a collection of weapons. You retrieved two switchblades one small and the other larger, dropping one in your sack while the other remained tucked into the leather holster you wore around your waist before slipped the baton into a holster positioned around your thigh. And the most essential item of all was the leather bound travel notebook you carried with you to document research and keep track of the items you intended to return with because your usual notebook was far too valuable to bring with you on the outside.
You stood in front of the mirror in your fathers room as you drew your hair up into a high ponytail and casted a quick glance out of the window. The sun was officially set. As you made your way through your house, slipping into the backyard and locking up, you took a brief pause by the creek as you filled a canister with fresh water before fastening it to your sack. With one final glance back at your home and at the one faint source of light from a lamp you left on to mimic your presence, you approached the shrubbery hidden at the back of your property, parting it with your hands and falling to your knees, crawling the remainder of the way to the opening in the concrete wall that you squeezed through before emerging on the other end into another set of thick bushes.
After crawling for another minute or two, you had made it out. You were careful to conceal your path once more as you rose to your feet, and broke off into a jog. You had successfully entered the west forest.
Your father told you a lot about this area. You knew where to find the things you needed, you rummaged through your rucksack to retrieve your notebook and aimlessly flipped through the pages as you wandered through the thick of the woods, using the little bit of moonlight available to illuminate its pages.
After about two hours or so you had retrieve a good amount of herbs and carefully packaged everything. You had worked through your list much faster than you originally expected and considered turning back to the compound before reaching a clearing.
You squinted your eyes as you gazed across the river and over into a deeper part of the woods. You had never reached this river before but the thickness of the woods ahead made you feel compelled to cross. You could only imagine the plants that grew beyond the water and you stood idle fighting the urge to run across full force into the unexplored land. Just as you moved to step forward into the river, you heard the splashing of footsteps along the river bank.
You stumbled backwards as you tried to retreat into the shadows to conceal yourself. Your hand travelled down to your waistband for your blade, and just as your fingers danced met the cool metal of its handle you felt someone grip your wrist. You almost let out a gasp until you felt the cool blade of a knife at your neck forcing you to hold your breath in unless you wanted it to cut the delicate skin under your chin.
You stood motionless as your body was spun around away from the river. Your captor held you firmly in position as the back of your body pressed into his front, and his back was firmly positioned against the trunk of a tall tree.
“Shh...” he said in a faint whisper directly into your ear. He was so close that you felt his lips brush against the lobe of your ear. Despite the delicate tone in his voice, his touch was strong, steady, and rough. You tried not to panic as you listened to the footsteps get closer and closer as they continued to splash down the bank of the river. You tried to shift under his grip but he held you tightly. You tried not to lose control of your breathing as you felt the anxiousness starting to build up. He must have sensed this as he shifted the blade a little further away from your skin.
“Hold still, or I’ll have to kill you,” he said, his threat sounding again, like a delicate song whispered into your ear. You calmed under his touch, not wanting to provoke him. As the sound of the footsteps became more faint, you stood together for what felt like ages before he was confident enough that whoever was after him had long since disappeared.
When you felt his grip relax, you moved your wrist in an attempt to distract him. As he tightened his grip on your right hand you used the opportunity to reach for the baton you had on your thigh, clicking the button on it and watching it extend itself out. It was enough to distract the man momentarily, as he removed the knife from your neck but wrapped himself completely around your body as he drew you with him to the ground, losing his stability as the two of you slid down a hidden embankment located a few steps away from the tree you had been up against earlier.
He held onto you firmly as the two of you rolled down the embankment before finally coming to a stop with you positioned above him. You scrambled quickly reaching for your blade as you straddled him, this time moving quicker than he was. As you pressed it to his neck the moonlight stretched across his face -- finally allowing you to get a good look at your captor.
His gaze was dark, and his long silver hair was splayed around around his head as a few strands fell over his forehead. You were taken aback by his beauty, and as you both locked eyes you could see a smirk momentarily tug at the corner of his lips as you let out a gasp. He was... fucking beautiful, you thought. In fact, he looked nothing like any other man you had seen before.
Within seconds he had reversed your position, straddling you in exchange, this time pinning your arm that held your blade above your head and roping his other hand around your neck. This time you didn’t fight back. You couldn’t. He leaned closer to your face, holding his own inches in front of yours.
“Do you want to die quickly, or should I let you suffer?” he muttered under his breath as he slowly tightened his grip around your neck, limiting your breathing. You writhed underneath him as tears pooled in your eyes.
“Or...” he began, as he used his other hand to pry your switchblade free from your grip, “should i kill you with your own blade for giving me such a hard time?”
You felt warm liquid drip onto the exposed skin of your stomach as you used the last bit of your strength as your vision went spotty to reach out and yank his shirt up, exposing his torso.
“What are you doing?” he asked, as he winced in pain.
“I-i can help,” you pleaded, your voice barely coming out in a whisper. “I can help you!” but you felt yourself slipping further and further away as your arm fell back to your side and your vision went black.
You blinked a few times before regaining consciousness one more. Your eyes scanned your surroundings as you watched as the boy from earlier sat a few feet away from you, rummaging through your rucksack.
You reached your hand up to your neck, rubbing at the sore flesh when his gaze landed back down on you.
“Welcome back,” he muttered weakly as he pulled out your notebook and began thumbing through its pages slowly.
Your eyes settled down on his shirt, noticing that the pool of blood in the fabric had grown significantly bigger.
“Why didn’t you wake me?” you complained as you lifted yourself up, wincing at the soreness you felt throughout your body. You approached him and this time neither of you moved to attack.
His face was dripping in sweat as his skin was beginning to go pale. He sat against the bank, and dropped his head back as his energy quickly depleted. You lifted his shirt over his head, leaving him half naked to assess his wound. You thought maybe he had injured himself during your fall but the slash across the side of his abdomen made it clear that his injury was caused by a sharp weapon. You used his shirt to wipe away the excess blood.
“You must have been bleeding for hours...” you muttered. He grunted in response, still with his eye closed. You reached for your bag and coated a cloth with disinfectant. He let out a loud hiss as it came in contact with his skin before you treated the wound with gauze and bandaging him up. He had passed out during the process and as you finally finished his eyes began to flutter open again. He ran his hand across his torso, feeling the bandage under his touch as his eyes met yours.
“Why’d you do that? Are you really this stupid?” he asked. You rolled your eyes as you packed up your belongings and began retrieving your blade and baton without answering his question. He watched as you slipped your weapons back into their holsters and strapped your bag cross your back once more.
Just as you were about to get up and leave he reached out to grab your wrist.
“I. almost. killed. you.” he said through gritted teeth. You yanked your hand from his grip, growing tired of him touching you as if he had full agency of your body.
“Yeah, I know. Thanks a lot,” you responded -- voice dripping in sarcasm. You shot him a cold glance as you got up and began making your way back up the bank.
“Wait, where are you going?” he called after you.
“Home,” you muttered as he immediately let out a scoff in response.
“Nobody in the West Forest has a home. And if they do, they don’t make it back there alive,” he said matter-of-factly.
“Good thing I’m not a nobody, then,” you snapped back.
This time he let out an even louder laugh wincing as he drew himself to his feet.
“Trust me, if you go back up that way you won’t make it back to your precious home alive,” he said as he looked up at the moon. “This is when they all come out to play,” he murmured under his breath.
You rolled your eyes again as you ignored his words. As you took a step forward, you heard the sound of a single gun shot in the distance. It was enough for you to freeze on the spot.
“We need to go. Now,” said the boy. He didn’t wait for you to respond before he pulled at your wrist and went off sprinting deeper into the rainforest. The air was damp, and the condensation that pooled on top of the leaves of the shrubbery you tore through together left you both covered in droplets of water.
You were out of breath and panting when you reached a clearing. The boy with the silver hair still kept a firm grip on your wrist as he craned his neck up to the sky to look at the moon. He muttered to himself under his breath as he whipped his head around in every direction. You pulled out your compass from your pocket, trying to gain some sense of direction. You were getting further and further away from home and the sun would be rising soon.
“This way,” he said as he continued to pull you further away from your compound. Eventually you reached a quiet area of the rainforest so hidden that you were surprised when you stumbled across it. Tipi like structures were scattered in the area and well hidden thanks to the way they were concealed with forestry in a camouflage like manor.
The boy pulled you into the nearest one as he fumbled around before the inside was finally illuminated by a lantern. The both of you jumped in shock as he pushed you behind his body for protection, before sighing deeply. You peered around his shoulder, at the boys who sat cross legged in front of you.
“Yuta, where the hell have you been... and who the fuck is she?” said one of them. He had black hair and big eyes. You held tightly to Yuta -- just now learning his name, out of fear. His fingers were tightly roped in yours. You both glanced down at your hands before frantically pulling apart.
“I... had to deal with something,” he said. Another boy with blonde hair who donned a slit in his eyebrow nodded his head in your direction.
“And the girl? You know you can’t bring people back here right?” he asked. They all looked at you — gazes trailing every inch of your body.
“Uh... I t-traded her,” he blurted out after failing to come up with an excuse. “I got her.. in a trade,” he finished.
Your jaw dropped as you swatted at his shoulder, and shot him an icy look.
“What I mean, is that she’s a medic. So she’s actually very useful to us,” he began, “so don’t see her as some random person I brought here because she’s... valuable, see?” he finished as he motioned to his torso.
“Why would we need need another medic?” mumbled the third boy. He was tall and strong looking. He stood out from the rest because of his laid back stance.
“H-hi, my name is,” you began, before another boy dipped into the tent behind you both. He froze the second the two of you locked eyes.
“Y/N?” the voice called out in shock as they settled on your face.
“D-doyoung?!” you screeched. Everyone in the tent fell silent and Yuta glanced slowly between the two of you.
Neither you nor Doyoung said a word to each other. His gaze remained attached to yours as his eyes conveyed what seemed like an endless combination of emotions.
He opened his mouth to speak but couldn’t get the words out. Your eyes wandered over his body, shocked to see him dressed so differently. The man who worked as a medic who always donned a white uniform looked unlike himself. His hair, which was usually parted and styled to perfection was gelled back sloppily, and he was dressed head to do in dark military styled clothing. He looked like all of the other boys from the campground.
Yuta finally broke the never ending silence that had fallen across everyone in the enclosed space.
“I don’t know what’s going on but can this all wait until morning time? I’m sore and tired,” he complained as he ran his hand delicately over his bandaged torso while letting out a tiresome yawn.
He looked over at the boys seated behind you both and nodded his head in the direction of the exit as he encouraged them to leave what you now realized was his tent.
As they moved to get up, Yuta turned back to you.
“You’ll sleep here—“ he began before getting interrupted almost immediately by Doyoung.
“No. She won’t,” he blurted out sternly.
Yuta, who was still looking at you, turned towards Doyoung with his eyebrows raised before a smirk stretched across his face.
It was similar to the one you had seen earlier when you straddled him with your knife pressed to the skin of his neck. One side of his mouth titled upwards and his eyes glinted in amusement. You cursed yourself for even getting distracted by the thought as you tried to clear your head and focus on what was going on right now inside the tent.
“Is she your girlfriend or something?” he taunted as he cocked his head to one side.
Doyoung’s cheeks flushed a barely visible shade of pink as he scoffed before muttering under his breath a weak “Of course not.”
“Then what’s the problem, doc?” said Yuta — his words dripping in venom this time.
Knowing Doyoung and his usually calm demeanour, you fully expected him to surrender and abandon whatever argument the men seemed to be on the brink of. But to your surprise he did the opposite.
“She works for me. I’m responsible for her!” he spat back. The other boys who had been in the process of leaving the tent, paused as they observed the interaction.
“Yeah, well she owes me,” said Yuta calmly.
“For what exactly?” inquired Doyoung.
“For not killing her earlier when I had the chance,” he said shrugging. Yuta ran his fingers through his silver locks aimlessly as if his words were meaningless.
“Hey, I saved your life... so technically we’re even,” you whined.
“Yeah but I brought you here instead of leaving you stranded with those gunmen running around,” Yuta reminded you as he flashed you a cheeky grin.
Doyoung’s eyes went wide from shock at Yuta’s prior admission to almost killing you before he zeroed in on your neck where your skin donned a few faint finger shaped bruises.
“W-what the hell? You did that to her?” he said glaring at Yuta, “he did this to you?!” he yelled as he diverted his gaze right back to you as his eyes franticly looked back and forth between your face and your neck.
Yuta rolled his eyes. Doyoung on the other hand was extremely riled up.
“Y/n, wait outside,” Doyoung said through gritted teeth as he glared at Yuta. You opened your mouth to protest at his order — not appreciating his tone, until Yuta placed a hand on the small of your back and sighed while delicately urging you to exit the tent.
“It’s okay,” was all he said as you reluctantly exited the tent, followed by the other three boys as Doyoung watched you with what seemed like an expression of anger and pain all in one.
Once you made it out the tent you could hear the strained noises of Yuta and Doyoung arguing back and forth.
The other boys quickly surrounded you. The first one to speak was the tall, relaxed one from earlier.
“I’m Johnny,” he said. Then he gestured towards the other boy with black hair and bright eyes “this is mark, and this is Taeyong,” he finished as he gestured towards the blonde boy with the slit in his brow.
“Y/n,” was all you could mutter in response as you craned your neck to look past them towards the tent.
“Your presence seems to have caused quite a bit of drama,” said Johnny as he chuckled.
“Where are you from anyway?” asked Mark curiously.
“The same compound as Doyoung,” you said. The boys exchanged suspicious glances with achother.
“So what were you doing in the west forest?” asked Taeyong.
You went on a brief spiel, recounting the events of the night — omitting the details of how you managed to sneak out of the compound. By the end the boys were chuckling a bit as you explained how you had held Yuta at knifepoint and then managed to end up back at the tents.
“Leave it to Yuta to almost die at the hands of a pretty girl in the middle of the forest,” Mark joked. The other boys agreed that it seemed very on brand for their friend to end up in such an unpredictable situation. However, they admitted it was very unusual for him to look out for someone the way he had for you.
“Speaking of...” you began as you had finally circled back to Yuta’s tent after walking in circles as you fell into conversation with the boys. “I wonder what’s going on in there. They’ve been talking for ages. I’m exhausted,” you complained.
“You could always sleep in my tent,” teased Mark before he jumped, absolutely startled by the heavy hand that had just landed on his shoulder.
“Do you have a death wish?” Yuta asked as he squeezed at the side of marks neck. The other boys stifled a laugh as Doyoung appeared with a stern expression by their sides while Mark winced in pain.
Doyoung approached you. “We need to talk,” he said as he walked off. You trailed behind him as you heard the boys and Yuta fall into conversation behind you.
“What, do you have a crush on her or something?” squealed Mark.
“What makes you think you could handle someone like her, baby?” Yuta teased at the youngest of the group.
“I heard she almost slit your throat so I doubt you can handle her anymore than I can,” Mark scoffed. Taeyong and Johnny broke into a fit of laughter as Yuta drew Mark into a headlock and the boys began to playfully scuffle.
Doyoung had taken you down to a small river that was situated near the campgrounds before turning to you.
“I bet you have a lot of questions,” he said. Truthfully, you didn’t even know where to begin. So much had happened over the last few hours and even though seeing Doyoung was probably the most surprising of all those things, you seemed to be at a loss for words. You looked up at him before shrugging softly and kicking the tiny pebbles by your feet into the water.
“First off, are you alright?” he asked as he reached out to touch your neck. You winced as his fingers came in contact with one of the small bruises left behind by Yuta.
“I’m fine, it’s just a little sore,” you answered. “What are you even doing out here, Doyoung?” you questioned.
He didn’t even hesitate before answering. “I’m working on something. There are certain things you don’t know about the compound,” he explained.
“What things?” you questioned.
“Well... it’s really complicated. But what I can say is that there are bad things going on there with the government,” he said hesitantly. You went wide eyed as you turned to him, hoping for answers.
“I can’t explain everything right now. You just can’t tell anyone that you’ve seen me here. And you can’t come out here again. I’m guessing you left through your fathers tunnel?” he asked. You were taken aback. You thought his tunnel had been a secret.
“H-how did you know?” you asked.
“He taught me a lot, y/n. He just left before we could get our real work done. I knew you left during your leaves from work but I didn’t expect you to come this deep into the forest. He told me that you were taught to stay within specific boundaries!” Doyoung said, as he scolded you.
“I did. If I hadn’t run into Yuta then-“ you began, before Doyoung cut him off.
“Yuta isn’t someone you should be hanging around. None of these guys are. You don’t belong here. You need to stay at the compound where it’s safer for you,” he argued.
At this point it was getting annoying. All these years your relationship had remained casual and distant and now he seemed to have transformed in an instant and become far too comfortable barking orders at you.
“You just said it yourself that there are bad things going on at the compound so why does it matter?” you spat.
“Because there are killers roaming this forest. You don’t understand what it’s like out here!” he yelled.
“And you do?” you challenged.
Doyoung sighed as he squeezed the bridge of his nose in frustration.
“I’ve been out here for years, y/n. You don’t know the half of it. You need to trust me,” he pleaded.
“You can’t expect me to trust you when you aren’t telling me anything,” you replied.
“Population control,” he stated abruptly. You opened your mouth to question him but he spoke again before you could get any words out.
“Resources have been running low for years. They’re controlling the population in the compound. People are being kicked out for crimes they didn’t commit. New uncontrollable illnesses are popping up slowly. There have been talks about the father being responsible. The compound is conducting shady trades and even seem to have some criminals from the west forest involved. I’ve been working with a few trusted people to expose it all and change things but...” he blurted our quickly.
“You’re staging a coup d’état?” you gasped. Doyoung sighed again.
“It’s not that simple. This is something that has been going on long before we were old enough to understand. This is something your father worked on too. He is one of many that wanted to liberate the compound. Not just ours either. He wanted to take back the forest and live in an open society like in the old days,” Doyoung explained.
Your head spun with the new information that had suddenly been dumped on you. You couldn’t even speak. For what felt like forever, you both stood in silence.
“I have to get back to the compound. I managed to slip away from the crowd but the rest of the head medics are going to grow suspicious soon if I don’t make it back east,” said Doyoung.
“B-but what about the gunmen?” you asked.
“I’ve been escorted to a meeting point by the some military men from the compound. I’m the only person authorized to do that in order to get some harder to find medical resources. I usually wouldn’t be able to come this Far East but one of the children of the Father of the Compound have been ill with an ongoing condition since he was a child and it’s worsened so I’ve been making more frequent trips. I’m the only person who has special permission to venture off alone and its because the father really wants to keep his child’s condition private,” he began, “so I need to get back to the meeting point quickly. They’ll escort me back.”
You nodded before Doyoung spoke again.
“I spoke with Yuta. He’ll get you back to the compound sometime within the next 3 days. Please just stay on the campgrounds and out of trouble until then,” he warned.
The two of you made your way back towards the campgrounds. Doyoung slipped away back into the forest after you said your goodbyes and you walked the rest of the way back.
Everyone had seem to retreat back into their respective tents as you approached Yuta’s. You ducked through the opening before pulling it closed behind you again. The tent felt much more spacious now that there weren’t as many people stuffed inside but to your surprise, Yuta was not inside.
You made your way over towards the flat sleeping mattress that was placed in a section of the tent as you decided to wait for him to return. That was the last thing you remembered as you fought the feeling of exhaustion that had finally overcome your body as you slipped into a deep sleep in the unfamiliar space.
The next morning you woke up to warmth and the feeling of your head rising and falling ever so slightly.
“This is relaxing,” you mumbled to yourself despite being half asleep.
Your head began to shake as a soft chuckle tumbled through Yuta’s chest as he answered quietly, “is it?”. Your eyes flew open within seconds as you realized you had been draped over his body and your head was currently resting against his chest.
“Oh my god.. OH MY GOD,” you gasped as you pulled yourself off of him and drew yourself into a seated position on the mattress in an attempt to create as much distance between you and Yuta as you possibly could.
Yuta still laughed softly. Your cheeks burned with heat as you could feel them begin to flush. You couldn’t help but wonder how long you had been sleeping like that. You were so tired the night before that you barely remembered falling asleep and definitely didn’t remember hearing or feeling yuta get into bed.
“W-why would you sleep here?” you scolded.
“Well this is my tent and my bed,” he answered as he slowly lifted himself up, being mindful of the bandage on his torso. He drew a shirt over his head as you watched him get dressed. His hair was pulled into a messy ponytail and despite it being morning time, he still looked so beautiful.
“Well you should have woken me up instead of just—“ you began.
“Instead of what? Becoming your human pillow? You didn’t seem to mind when you were sleeping like a baby all night,” he teased.
You pouted at Yuta as he winked back at you before dropping to his knees back on the mattress. He leaned towards you while resting on his hands as your heart began to beat faster. The closer he got to you the bigger the smile on his face became.
You leaned back away as his body drew closer to yours and his face hovered towards you. When he was close enough to bridge the gap between the two of you, you squeezed your eyes shut and pushed your hands out against his chest to stop him from moving as you braced yourself.
A few seconds passed but nothing. You opened up your eyes again with your hands still firmly against Yuta’s chest as you met his gaze.
He held back laughter as he reached one of his hands behind you and out of sight before it emerged again in your line of vision, this time with a stainless steel water bottle in his grasp which he had been reaching for the entire time while you were in the way.
“Don’t flatter yourself, princess,” he chuckled before leaning away from you again and getting up. He made his way to the exit of the tent before slipping out.
“Wait here,” he muttered before disappearing and leaving you flustered, a bit embarrassed, and frankly still tired. You flopped back down on the mattress with a loud groan as you pulled the blankets over your head as you drifted back to sleep with thoughts of that cheeky bastard in your head.
The next time you woke up, you were alone. There was however a plate of fruit from the forest and some other greenery in a bowl waiting for you by the mattress. You didn’t hesitate for even a second before diving in. You hadn’t realized how hungry you had been.
Outside had grown gloomy again making you feel as though you were beginning to lose perception of time all together. It must have been a little while until sunset which meant you had slept through almost the entirety of the day.
You were finishing off the last bit of avocado that was left in your bowl when you heard someone call your name from outside of the tent.
You made your way outside only to find out that it was Mark who had been calling you.
“Sick! You’re finally awake!” he said excitedly. “Dude do you always sleep this much?” he giggled.
“Ugh, don’t even get me started. I don’t know how I managed to sleep for so long. I must have had a rough night,” you whined.
“Oh yeah, how did you sleep?” he asked. You blushed as the memory of this morning returned to you. The thought of being cuddled up to Yuta like that had slipped your mind yet you couldn’t help but feel the same level of embarrassment all over again now that Mark had unknowingly reminded you.
“Uh... y/n?” he called out as he waved a hand in front of your face.
“O-oh, I slept okay. I’m just still a little sore,” you murmured as you snapped out of your thoughts. You rubbed aimlessly at the bruises on your neck.
Mark tsked as he reached out to softly run his hands over your neck. “Yuta... that idiot. Why would he hurt you like this?” he said as he shook his head.
“She could have been dangerous,” said Taeyong as he walked up behind Mark to join in on the conversation.
“Yeah right. Yuta just likes to play rough,” Mark said as he dropped his hand.
“Well if it hurts that bad then we have the perfect thing to make you feel better, y/n,” said Taeyong as a small smile played on his lips.
“Guys! It’s ready!” yelled Johnny from across the tent grounds. The boys glanced at each other, smiling. Mark grabbed your wrist as he pulled you through the campgrounds past a series of empty tents until you reached a raging bonfire in its center.
“Where is everyone else?” you asked after noticing that you hadn’t seen anyone but the boys since your arrival
“Most of them are away dealing with business in the forest. A few others patrol the outer parts of the campground in shifts and alternate every few days so it’s just us for the next week,” answered Taeyong.
“Which is why tonight we are gonna celebrate the arrival of our dear y/n... and by celebrate I mean eat and get drunk because we finally have this place to ourselves,” said Johnny as he pulled out a large container filled with questionable liquid and held it over his head.
The four of you passed around more fruits and vegetables, grilling things over the bonfire along with some meat. The questionable alcoholic mixture Johnny had managed to make was actually surprisingly good and it didn’t take long for everyone to get buzzed. You cooed at the warm feeling in your stomach as you stuffed your mouth with food.
“Mmm, I’ll never get over how great fresh food tastes right out of the forest,” you squealed. The boys looked on in amusement.
“Maybe there are some perks to being out here after all,” muttered Johnny.
You all continued to drink and eat for a while as the sun set for the day. Eventually you fell into conversation with the boys whom it turns out you got along with quite well.
“Wait, where’s Yuta?” you slurred, tilting your head to the side.
As if on cue, he emerged from the shadows looking a bit dishevelled.
“Did you miss me?” he taunted as he approached the rest of the group, grabbing what was left of the plentiful amount of food you had grilled to eat. His eyes settled on the container of alcohol before letting out a deep sigh.
“No wonder I could hear you guys from the other side of the campgrounds. Why would you let these idiots get you drunk, princess?” he questioned as he shoved a piece of meat into his mouth and poured himself a cup of the mixture.
“Who me? I’m not drunk!” you slurred again. The boys giggled at the high pitched sound of your drunk voice. Taeyong, Mark and Johnny got up to retrieve more firewood while they continued chatting away. They occupied themselves with the bonfire as Yuta settled down next to you.
“You sleep like a baby and now that you’re drunk, you sound like one too,” said Yuta while forcing a slice of mango past your lips.
The juices from the fruit trickled down your chin as he fed you. To his surprise, you wrapped your lips around his fingers, suckling softly at the juices that coated his fingers.
Yuta’s mouth fell open slightly as he slowly pulled his fingers away from you. He chuckled softly as his gaze went dark.
“Play nice,” he said sternly. You rolled your eyes at his warning before shrugging.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Anyway, where have you been all day?” you said, changing the subject.
“Just handling business,” he muttered. You pouted in response. You knew very well the kind of trouble Yuta seemed to find himself in while away from the campground.
“Doyoung told me about our compound but I just realized that he didn’t tell me much about what any of it has to do with you guys,” you complained.
“Don’t whine. It’s nothing you need to worry about. I’m gonna get you back to the compound tomorrow night like he asked,” Yuta answered.
“That’s so soon...” you said as your voice dropped down to a soft murmur.
“I know it must be nice to have a bunch of guys take care of you but did you really think you were going to live here forever or something?” he scoffed.
You shot him a cold glance before getting up from next to him and muttering under your breath, “whatever.”
You ditched him and joined the other boys by the fire as you cozied up next to Mark who was just as drunk as everyone else. It was only Yuta that hadn’t caught up yet and at this point his attitude was killing your vibe.
The boys were engaged in an animated conversation about grilling meat when you joined them. They argued over who amongst the group was the best at their grilling techniques.
“You have to hold it still for a minute before flipping it on to the next side!” Johnny yelled.
“Nonono, you’re holding it too close to the fire. It has to be higher!” said Taeyong as he cringed at Johnny’s method.
“Nah watch this,” said Mark as he placed a piece of meat on the end of a metal rod and shoved it directly into the flames before pulling it out again.
“Dude, you burned it,” laughed Johnny.
“Wait! That was a mistake. It wasn’t supposed to happen,” he said as he drunkenly giggled. You took the rod from him and placed another piece of meat on the end as you expertly rotated it for a few minutes over the fire, dipping it ever so slightly into the flames. Mark watched wide eyed as you held the rod in front of your lips and blew softly on the meat to cool it down before pulling it off of the metal and holding it out for him to taste.
Mark opened his mouth as you placed the piece of meat into his mouth, letting your fingers brush softly against his lips as they lingered on his skin. Yuta froze,, watching the exchange between the two of you.
“Dang, this tastes so good,” Mark moaned as he chewed away at the meat. You smiled as you watched him savour the taste.
“We should put the fire out before the smoke becomes too obvious,” suggested Taeyong. He grabbed a few buckets while Johnny joined him.
“We’ll come with!” offered Mark as he got up and drew you to your feet. “The rivers fun at night time,” he chuckled as he pulled you towards the direction you had gone in the night before with Doyoung. The two of you stumbled along the forest in a fit of giggles as Johnny and Taeyong trailed behind you with the buckets. Yuta sat alone by the fire seething as he watched you and Mark run off into the distance.
Once you had reached the river, Mark wasted no time tugging at his shoes before splashing his way into the water and groaning at the cool feeling of the mini waves against his toes. He splashed about, drawing you in with him. Johnny and Taeyong filled up the buckets with water.
“We’re gonna head back before that fire gets out of hand,” yelled Johnny as the two boys turned away, leaving you and Mark alone.
“You’re in trouble now,” Mark teased as he reached down and flicked water up from the stream all over you -- making you squeal as it seeped through your clothing. You returned his actions by kicking at the water below you as the two of you messed about like children.
You hadn’t heard him at first but a dark figure by the edge of the river caught your eye as you froze. Mark, who had continued splashing you, stopped and followed your gaze.
“Yuta hyung, you scared the shit out of me!” he said as he sighed a sigh of relief at the sight of his friend.
Yuta stumbled slightly as he approached the two of you, words slurring ever so slightly as he called out “Mark, y/n is drunk. It’s too dangerous to play around in the river like this!”
Mark chuckled before responding, “She’s a big girl so there’s no need to coddle her.”
Yuta’s expression went cold as he walked into the water and grabbed you by the wrist. “That’s enough princess,” he warned -- clearly fed up with your antics.
You opened up your mouth to speak but Yuta cut you off as he addressed Mark.
“Fun’s over, baby. Go back and help the boys clean up. I’ll take care of her,” he said. Mark shrugged and stumbled out of the water before picking up his shoes and disappearing into the forest towards the campground.
You stood frozen in front of Yuta. “Doyoung will be very upset if he finds out what you’ve been up to,” he scolded. You huffed -- suddenly feeling like a child who has being told off by their father.
“I haven’t done anything wrong!” you insisted, still feeling warm from the amount of alcohol coursing through your body. You poked a finger into Yuta’s chest as you pouted your lips at him.
“Y-you’re just jealous,” you taunted.
“Of?” he asked.
“M-me and --” you began before you were rudely interrupted by Yuta’s deep and powerful laugh. What scared you was the fact that his laugh stopped just as fast as it started.
He drew you close to him, squeezing your chin between his fingers as he hovered closely to your face.
“Is that what you’ve been doing all night long? Trying to make me jealous?” he asked as his expression changed -- making him look very amused instead. You huffed again, shaking your way out of his grasp and making your way out of the water. It wasn’t until your feet were back on land that you realized how drunk you really were.
The ground seemed to be rocking underneath you as you struggled to keep your balance. You stumbled, nearly falling over before becoming engulfed in Yuta’s arms. You tried not to throw up the contents of your stomach as he lifted you off the ground and into his arms.
“You’re so annoying, you know that? And mean too,” you mumbled as you rested your head in the crook of his neck, closing your eyes and wrapping your arms around his neck as he carried you carefully towards the campgrounds.
“You’re no angel either. Don’t think i’ve forgotten about what you did to me earlier,” he whispered into your ear. His voice sent shivers down your spine as you recalled the mango incident.
“Dang, what happened to her?” asked Taeyong as Yuta approached him and the rest of the boys as they cleaned up the final bits of the little party they had thrown.
“Looks like Johnny’s juice finally hit her,” Yuta teased. Johnny smiled proudly knowing his creation was a hit.
You finally arrived at Yuta’s tent and he carried you all the way inside before putting you down and holding you at your shoulders to ensure that you were steady enough to stand on your own.
“Shit, I’m soaked,” you mumbled to yourself as you pulled at your shirt, growing uncomfortable with the feeling of the wet fabric against your skin.
Yuta rummaged around in his tent before pulling out a dry shirt for you to put on. He passed it to you before ducking out of the tent to let you change. He waited before you poked your head out, and carried your wet clothing with you to hang outside to dry, still drunk and giggly.
Yuta watched as you hung your shirt, and pants but went wide eyed when he saw you hang up a pair of panties as well. His cheeks flushed pink as he unconsciously allowed his eyes to run over your body, noticing the way the fabric would momentarily cling to the parts of your body as you moved making it very evident that you were in fact naked underneath it.
He ducked back into the tent as he stripped down to change as well. He had just put his shorts, still shirtless, when you pushed through the opening of the tent. You clambered across the mattress and fell back with a deep sigh. Yuta lowered himself down to climb into bed next to you. “Get some rest, I’m taking you home tomorrow,” he said. “I don’t wanna leave,” you groaned as you stretched your arm across his body and rested your head on his chest like the night before. Yuta naturally let his arm circle around your body as if you slept like this together all the time. You started to drift off to sleep, feeling the rise and fall of Yuta’s chest and his fingers combing softly through your hair. You didn’t expect any of this to happen but you were grateful. The cold girl that walked through the compound and kept to herself was gaining some warmth again. She smiled more, and giggled, and felt less lonely outside of her isolated town. You couldn’t help but hear the words of the compound children echoing in your mind as you finally fell asleep -- “I heard if you go far enough west, you’ll find a better place to live.”
Let me know if you want a part 2! <3

I´ve finished The Owl House recently and I´m just amazed by the show in all its aspects, especially the plot and the designs. Even though the very known Disney´s touch is there, it is placed so smoothly along with the story that makes the show really refreshing to watch.
But as any cartoon trope, I bet my right hand there will be this prom episode where all the characters will get a new, formal outfit that will make the fandom go YEAH
… But this episode is not here yet, and probably will take some time to be, and since hiatus is taking so long… I took the creative liberty to illustrate some of my expectations.
Sooo, Ta-dã !
It took longer than I´ve expected it to,
Here it goes the thoughts I´ve put in every piece!
Willow: yes, I just couldn´t resist the urge to relate her outfit with the tree that is behind her name, and c´mon, you know the creators also have this association in mind. It just fits. The little details on her dress are the flowers from the willow tree, and I wanted to resemble the “wavy strips” shape of leaves in someplace - first I thought about making her dress in this shape, but I wasn´t finding a way to make it right. So I added this detail to her earing, since making the reference more subtle felt like a better reward to give the public once they notice the design´s purpose (hope it made sense)
Gus: our gold boi is an illusionist and a human enthusiast, and I wanted to make both of those traits show off. So, which iconic human being we have that also practiced the art of illusion? If you said Houdini, you´ve read my mind. I based Gus´ suit on the one Houdini used to wear a lot *according to google* and made the little bow tie as a reminder of his coven (not that we needed a remind for that but yeah); And what about the hat? I took the liberty to make it a headcanon that, in one of Owlbert trash raids to the human world, there was this sympathetic top hat laying around and, as Luz knew how much Gus liked human stuff (and wanted him to be more assertive about stuff´s finalities), she gave it to him. And I´m sure you can imagine his enthusiasm, and how forward he was looking to properly use the “artifact” as a human would (even if it´s all beat up!) Besides, the hat was made for a head way bigger than his, so it keeps falling into him and he has to stand funny in order to keep it in place
Luz: Luz is “light” in Spanish/Portuguese, her light spell has this yellowish color so there wasn´t much stress to pick the primal color (picking the right variations in the other hand…that was sort of stressing). For her dress model, I wanted something that expressed her buoyant personality, but still “serious” enough to attend a formal event. So, I made it like a sundress and added some layers of details, as the sleeves and the semi-transparent cloth over the dress´s hem. Also, I “tamed” her hair a bit so it wouldn´t just be the same she uses every day, with this one rebellious lock of hair at the back which refuses to stay put along with the others.
Luz appears to me as someone who would love to wear super extra outfits for cosplay purposes, but being conscious about her clumsy self, she would rather stick with something simple enough to move freely (and fast) if the situation requires it - especially because it would be her first prom out of the human world (maybe her first prom in life?) so it would be nice to avoid any unnecessary awkward scenarios - which we all know are totally going to happen. Thus, I thought about adding some glitter to it, but I saved the sparkles for someone else...
Amity: OH I HAD SO MUCH FUN DOING THIS ONE. Amity (spoiler alert) is a big fan of Azura´s books, just like Luz, and it is pretty clear she inspires herself a lot on the character - her dyed hair, the drawing of herself wearing Azura´s clothes on her diary´s cover - SO based on that sweet info it wouldn´t be a surprise if she coded Azura´s dress in her own. I made her dress a plain white (like Azura´s) but, to resemble Amity social status (da gurl is rich) gave it an “elegant” cut, with the purple, shining and very-expensive looking silk falling upon it to give life to the outfit (and they also translates as the shoulder parts of Azura´s dress). Her earing stands for Azura´s chest star, and I played a “half-fancy” hairstyle to complement. (I don´t like to have favorites, but this one is definitely one)
King: the king of demons claims he´s a naturalist and has concrete displeasure to wear clothes. So little cute smokes were out. But as a king, and with his obnoxious personality, he would definitely want to dress as fancy as everyone else, with the little of “dressing” as possible, get it? I know that adding a bow tie to him isn´t the most creative of looks, but the filling is in the headcanon I (once again) took the liberty to make: King wanted to feel fancy, but he wouldn´t dress a suit, and he refused to go without anything. This led everyone on the house to search for something that King could wear, which resulted in Eda finding some old holiday ornaments boxed in a dark corner of the attic; Among those, there were many red bows of different sizes from where King picked the biggest one - which was meant for Hooty, since it was a door ornament - and a smaller one for the tail, as the final detail. He also gave Hooty one of the bows, a really small one, just to say he gave the owl something.
Eda: I must confess, Eda outfit was the trigger of this whole thing lol. I was scrolling through Pinterest and BAM this look appeared and my mind instantly associated it with the Owl Lady. I just really wanted to draw her in this look because it is so her. She´s the elegant foxy aunt of the party who put candies in her bag and sneakily takes all the table decorations home (especially the shiny ones!). She received Principal´s authorization to attend the prom with no risks of being arrested, as a treat for her good choice of enrolling Luz there, which is the only reason she´s so proudly showing off who she is (I´m talking about the necklace, if you´re wondering). Plus, her hair up was so fun to make? I´m 100% ready to see it canon
oof, this was long.
I´m thrilled at the chance to share it with you guys, and I´m more than welcome to feedback!

Hope you enjoy it loves! Have a good morning/day/afternoon/evening/night, I’m heading off to sleep lol 💚
“YangYang, why don’t you come with us this time?”
There is a dead silence that occurs after your father speaks. The three of you had been hanging out— lounging around on the couches since the weather is too hot to do anything else— as you always do in the living room while your parents were outside grocery shopping for the coming trip, and this happened to be their greeting when they stepped into the house. Your father’s suggestion is lighthearted with a smile on his face, which is making the silence more unbearable than it has to be. “We’re just staying for the weekend. I think your parents would be okay with it, don’t you think?”
“Um, I don’t know,” YangYang answers quickly and rather awkwardly. He looks to his side when your brother nudges (more like jokingly kicks) his leg with his foot. “Just say yes man.”
You do not bother to look up from your phone at the conversation that is going on, because this conversation has been repeating itself for a couple of years now. The answer had always been no at the end— since YangYang had to work at the dance studio, in his defense. Two years ago was hectic because of all the college businesses that had to be taken care of, document work and moving in and what not, and last year had been the same because of your admission to college.
As far as you and your brother knows he does not have an excuse this time. Plus, the three of you do not have the chance to hang out as much anymore as all of your schools’ schedules fall on different times, so this could be one of the last times you get to hang out freely until next year.
You hear the subject of the question laugh slightly. “I guess my sister could use a little break from me,” It is then that you hear a shuffle, a more audible hit, and a grunt that follows from your brother’s best friend. “It’s literally three letters, you’re making things harder than they need to be.”
“It’s not like you don’t sleep over at ours anyway, what makes it different if it’s someplace else?” You ask, and the two boys turn to look at you. Lifting your finger to your temple and tapping it several times you smile at YangYang, knowing the peer pressure must get to him at this point— not to mention the very drunken sleepovers he had had in college he had told you guys about in apartments he had not known the residents of. Both your brother and you could play that card any time.
YangYang seems to recognize that. “When are we leaving, then?”
The next day, five in the morning. You put your luggages one by one into the car, having to place a couple of them in front of the backseats since the stuff you had taken for only three days had already occupied most of the space. YangYang looks surprisingly awake, more awake than you and your brother could ever look waking up at that time.
And as if it is not bad enough that you are awake at this time after barely an hour’s sleep last night (as you had procrastinated getting ready until you absolutely had to), your brother opens the back door and nods his head towards the seats. “C’mon. You’re sitting in the middle.”
“Why do you hate me so much?” The whine is one of desperation since on top of everything you also have to sit on the tightest and hardest seat. But your brother does not give into it. “I don’t hate you, we just need more leg room than you do.” Which is right, but annoying.
You are the first to sit down at your seat, your brother and YangYang following suit. The three of you sit in silence as your parents and YangYang’s speak to each other outside, laughing. You can hardly keep your eyes open but when you are about to put your earphones on and lay your head back to try and sleep, your brother decides to start speaking. He starts going on and on about his plans for the upcoming two and a half days as if he would have the time to do them all, and at one point he starts speaking of someone you know all too well.
When he does, you shoot your eyes open and turn to face him. “You’re gonna hang out with who?”
“Didn’t you hear? Was I not loud enough?” He raises his voice, which makes both you and YangYang hiss a little at his antic because it really is too early for whatever he is doing. “Fuck you, okay? I don’t care. Just don’t have your tongues down each other’s throats around me. That’s disgusting.”
“I apologized for that and it wasn’t even my fault.” He says just as your parents open the doors to their seats, prompting you to shut your mouths up. It annoyed you to all extents imaginable that he would be hanging out with his summer fling once again— not that you did not like them, but the fact that they would never commit to a full on relationship was incredibly annoying considering they do whatever they do every single summer.
He mumbles something about you being upset you are lonely as your mother starts the car and starts driving, and you elbow him in the side, eliciting a silent groan from him as YangYang chuckles at you two. You lay your head back, your neck incredibly uncomfortable— so you give up on it instantly and turn to YangYang.
“Can I lay my head on your shoulder? I’ll share my earphones with you.”
It takes him a while to respond, which is weird, but it is still too early in the morning after all. In the end, though, he gulps a little and nods saying of course. So you lay your head down on his shoulder that is arguably not any more comfortable than the headrest is but at least your head is laid at a reasonable angle. YangYang accepts the earphone you hand out to him, and places his elbow against the window, leaning his cheek against his knuckles as he starts watching the changing scenery.
You fall asleep within a few minutes.
The drive lasted only about four hours long, so when you arrived at the little baby blue cottage near the beach none of you were really awake. But that matter had to be thrown to some non-visitable place in your brain as there was much cleaning to do before any of you could even imagine walking down to the beach.
Your brother vacuums and YangYang mops the floors as you dust around and clean the windows, your parents take care of the groceries and switch the water and electricity on. Luckily the cottage is really small, barely a living room with a sofa and a love-seat pushed close to each other, a small and old TV, open-plan kitchen with little counter space, two small bedrooms— yours with a couple pull out couches— and a small bathroom with very limited space that could only fit one person at a time.
But it still holds a warm feeling to it not counting the heat outside. The kind that makes you feel all warm and lovely inside.
Even though the cottage is small, cleaning it up takes some time. It is already the afternoon by the time you are finished, which is really sad considering today is Saturday, and you would already be on your way back by Monday afternoon.
But you forget about it when YangYang walks into the bedroom the three of you would be staying in, seeing you cleaning the windows. He drops his bag on a couch before turning back at you. “I’m done with mopping.”
“That’s great.” You say, spraying more of the cleaning liquid to the glass before getting back to trying to get a stubborn stain off. “I can help you, if you’d like.”
“Ah,” The cloth drops to your leg as you huff because wow it is really hot. “I mean I think I’ll be done soon. You guys can get ready to go out I guess.”
Silence. The awkward kind, but the kind of awkward where you know he is hesitant to tell you something. Only one thing comes to your mind. “Did he—?” You cannot finish the sentence because of how damn angry the possibility makes you that your brother ditched you and his best friend from the first minute. “He said they’re only gonna greet each other and he’ll be meeting us at the beach.”
With a dramatic roll of your eyes, you get back to wiping. “If he’s so in love, why wouldn’t he just ask them out I swear this happens all the fucking time—“
YangYang starts laughing as you rant, and you join him after a while, half because your response to feeling pissed off is laughing and half because his low laugh is pretty damn contagious. After your laughs subside you throw the cloth on the windowsill because to all hell with that— if your brother gets to vacuum and immediately storm out, you get to go outside without taking the stain off the window. “Let’s just get ready.”
The beach is not crowded when you walk down, most probably because it is not the season yet for most people.
The waves are ginormous but you do not really care, the sea was mostly like this rather than not. Which is why you just put down your towel without so much as a glance at its way. YangYang does the same as you, helping you with the umbrella and making sure it would not budge in the wind. “Are you really not mad at my brother?” You ask as you put the last stone at the corner of your towel to secure it in place.
“Why would I be?” He looks completely unbothered, which kind of answers your question. “I don’t know, bros before hoes and all that,” You huff. “I’d be mad at him— I am mad at him.”
“We both know he’s kind of really head over heels. Doesn’t faze me,” YangYang chuckles as you bunch up some sand in your hand. “Plus, he was the one that asked your father to come here.”
“He was?” The sheer shock that you seem to show makes him laugh, eyes tracing over your face as he leans on his hand. “You didn’t know?”
“I didn’t,” You confirm, shaking your head side to side. “Why— no offense, but why would he encourage you to come along then?”
YangYang clears his throat a little and shrugs. “Emotional support if things go wrong, I guess.”
You laugh, shaking your head again. Then it hits you. “Wait, so he’s actually gonna ask them out?”
“Yeah, I mean they’d been kind of trying the long distance thing out this year. So I don’t even know if he has to ask them out.” There is a pause before he smiles. “I’m happy for him. At least one of us gets to have the relationship they want, even if it’s hard to have it.”
Your head snaps at him at that, a wide grin on your face. “Aw, you have someone you like?”
The question seems to fluster him immediately. He gets uncomfortable, you can feel it, as he shifts in his place and sniffs. He is all smiley when he turns his gaze towards the sea. “I do. But I don’t think it’ll happen.”
“Why is that? Tell me about them,” Your words only seem to corner him further, but you frankly cannot care. Knees close to your chest, you hug them closer, placing your chin on top of your knee. He looks at you briefly before letting out an airy chuckle and turning his gaze back to where it had been. “They’re just.. amazing. Witty and playful but also grounded. Good thing is we’re close, but yet we’re so far. That’s all I can say, really.”
You want to nag him about it, but he cuts you off before you can, his head perking up. “Oh, your parents are coming.”
He gets surprised when you spring up onto your feet urging him to do the same with your hand. He gets up too, and you take your beach attire as quickly as you can which prompts an all awkward cough from him, tugging at his t-shirt before taking your own piece of clothing off your neck. “If you don’t want to be interviewed for the next several hours we have to go swimming right now.” You explain, knowing your parents would keep him as a hostage for some conversation— topic most likely being how college is, if he is doing good in his classes, if he is happy with his life, what does he want to do in the future, any hopes and dreams; the topics were endless.
The two of you only say hello to your parents before rushing to the sea, jumping in without much preparation as the waves would have hit you first if you had not done it.
The water is really cold because of the current, but you still have your fun.
YangYang and you both help your parents cook that night after taking your showers, and even as you are eating, your brother does not return. After you finish your dinner and the two of you have some coffee, you start talking about how dancing is going for YangYang, and your brother does not return.
Even when you drag YangYang outside by his wrist, walking to the square filled with stands and shops, saying “I need enough ice cream to make me regret being born.” and eat said enough amount, regret ever bracing the surface of this earth as your companion does the same, and come back— your brother does not return.
Instead, he returns after YangYang and you prepare his bed for him on the ground and change into your pajamas one by one. To be exact, he returns when the two of you are having your final glasses of water before going to sleep.
YangYang and you had agreed on doing something for when he did return, so even as you are caught by surprise as you are sipping on your water, you force it down before starting to applaud your brother. His friend beside you lets out a laugh at you before joining. Your brother looks something between surprised and confused.
“You found your way home!” You shout, making your parents laugh all the way from their room (which is not that far from the kitchen given the cottage’s size). “You’ve grown so much, you can find directions on your own without us having to pick you up.” You place your hand on your chest for dramatic measures. “I’m so proud.”
“Shut up.” Although his voice comes out annoyed, your brother has a smile on his face that makes you happy. You lean on the counter as he walks over and fills up a glass of water for himself, looking up at him curiously— and a bit mischievously. With your elbow you nudge YangYang a bit, encouraging him to ask.
He does. “So, how’d it go?”
“It went so bad that I had to take a walk that ended up lasting a few hours— it went good. We missed each other.” As always with your brother, he has to be annoying while answering the question. He leaves to get ready for bed leaving the two of you behind.
You and YangYang only look at each other in annoyance, and you make him break in laughter when you mock your brother’s it went good, we missed each other.
The three of you are out the door the moment you finish your breakfast next morning.
You gather your towels, the umbrella, the volleyball and the frisbee for your full day at beach that you must make the most of before going back home the next day.
The waves seem more acceptable today although they are nowhere near calm, but again, you do not care. You place the towels down, YangYang helps with the umbrella again, and your brother sets up the snacks you had brought along. The small cooler sits in between the towels and under the umbrella’s shadow.
The three of you all decide that playing some volleyball and ultimate frisbee before getting into the water is a smart choice, so you play around for who knows how long. Sun shining bright and strong on your heads, sand burning the bottoms of your feet, the sea breeze hitting your faces; sometimes you laugh, sometimes you scream in frustration, sometimes you scream just because you want to. All three of you have your fair share of sand in your mouths and on your face after dipping countless times for the volleyball and the frisbee. You get a couple of sand burns on your feet, and YangYang scratches the side of his hand when he falls down after catching the frisbee and landing on a random piece of log that had washed up to the shore— most likely after a forest fire that brought the content with the sea current.
But you definitely have a burnout at some point and have a swim in the sea, a swim of unnecessary splash wars considering how big the waves are. The two boys keep dunking each other’s heads into the sea, having their own fun from time to time, being silly. The mood is up there the whole time as you join their competition on who will hold their handstand for the longest time which is weird as the waves knock you all over so it really depends on how far the wave is when you start your handstand.
And it only hits you just how much time has passed when all of you go back and wrap yourselves in towels and sit down to have a few snacks along with some beer that was packed in the cooler.
“It’s so hot,” YangYang complains, and upon placing a hand on his shoulder you can indeed say he is hot. Probably too hot. The best solution you have at that moment is holding the cold beer bottle against his back. Which makes him jump in his place, and gets you laughing. “That feels so good but it’s so cold!” He basically screams, and you urge your brother to do the same as what you are doing, reaching out for the ice in the cooler.
You notice how pink or rather red his back is when you put the ice in his t-shirt in an attempt to make an ice bag out of it. “You’ve burned,” You let out with a laugh. “That’s gonna peel for sure.” And you place the makeshift bag on his back.
When you get back to the house your brother is the first to take a shower since he has a special someone he needs to see once more before he leaves for home and for another year of college.
YangYang sits on the lounge chair out on the porch with you stood behind him, putting on aloe vera burn cream on his burnt upper back. He groans sometimes but tries to hide it by laughing, and honestly you are grateful for that— because it really looks like it must be hurting a whole lot, and you do not like seeing people in pain. “You messed up big time loverboy.”
He chokes on his spit. “What?”
“What, what? You messed up because you didn’t put enough sunscreen, and you are crushing on someone— hence the loverboy.”
“Ah, yeah,” He mumbles. “True.”
Everyone is asleep.
At least everyone should be, but you are not.
Instead you are sat out on the porch, and on the lounge chair, with only a glass of water in your hands and your earphones placed on your ears as songs of all kinds play. The midnight breeze had been too inviting for you to not stay up, hearing the angry waves of the sea crash to the shore. In the distance there is a cargo ship (ships were frequent in the off-season and at nights since the beach was not much used), the only light source in sight.
The sky is already only ever so slightly turning into a brighter grey, signaling the coming of the morning. You still had half a day before having to return back to sitting at your middle seat for the four hour drive, then doing the laundry, and then slowly but surely getting back to chores and schoolwork, preparing for your return to the campus in the upcoming weeks.
But right now, you want to stay in this moment forever. This moment where everything is so silent and so peaceful without worry of school or work or anything, this moment where your parents still do not have to get back to work, this moment where your brother is still close to the person who he loves.
It feels selfish for you to even think of it, though. Because you know YangYang is not truly all that happy at this moment. He is still crushing on someone, someone who he knows he does not have much chance of being together with. And on top of that, he is doing it with a pretty bad burn on his back.
Maybe time must move on for him, then. Maybe as time moves on everything can fall in place a bit better.
But you definitely want time to stop again when someone pulls an earphone out of your ear. You jump a little in your seat, trying to make out the face in the dark before they speak. “Hey,” YangYang whispers. “You weren’t sleeping were you?”
“No,” You say as your heart beats, no signs of slowing. “You couldn’t sleep?”
He chuckles at the answer that will get repeated, and at the question that addresses the obvious. “No,” And he sits down on the seat you open up for him, the two of you sitting side to side, arms touching. “I’ve been thinking.”
“About?” He sighs, and you can tell it is shaky, but not in the sad way. You do not remember ever seeing him sad, for that matter. “About my feelings.”
“What about your feelings?” There is a huff that leaves him that is full of uncertainty, but it is less shaky than his sigh. Bravery, maybe. His eyes that are fixed on the ship turn to you, a smile on his face, and he has to take one more breath before he speaks, eyes once again trailing all over your face before landing on yours.
“I really like you. Have been for a long time. I just thought you should know.”

TITLE: Couldn’t Leave Well Enough Alone PAIRING: Arthur Morgan/Fem!Reader REQUEST: Anonymous requested for a female reader getting jumped outside of camp by some O’Driscolls followed by an intervention by Arthur. (Shortened for fic spoilers lol) BLURB: “This is it. This is how it was going to end. You were going to get strangled to death by some O’Driscolls because you just wanted to stand in the river under the moonlight.” WARNINGS: Violence, strangulation, stabbing, gore, shooting, it’s mostly angst with like a hint toward a lighter note in the end. NOTE: Thank you for the request, anon! I got a little carried away so it doesn’t follow it to a T but I hope it’s enough of what you were looking for!
The chorus of cricket song, the slow rush of a light breeze through the grass and trees, along with, thankfully, a quietness from the camp might be enough to put anybody to sleep. However, it seemed like you were among those who weren’t that night.
It wasn’t without trying. Some fitful turning and re-positioning on your bedroll not really giving you enough relief from the wakefulness in your mind. So, eventually you decided to get up from your bedroll and wander toward the edge of Horseshoe Overlook, looking over the cliff edge that looked down into the valley, at the mountains in the distance, and the river that was lightly shimmering in the moonlight.
It was a perfect night.
So, really, you figured you couldn’t be blamed when you slipped down past where the horses were kept near the edge of camp and walked down toward the river. It was a bit of a walk on foot, but you didn’t want to bother with saddling up your horse for a short ride to look at the water for a bit before heading back. There didn’t appear to be people riding around at such an hour, either, considering you hadn’t seen anybody outside of the odd deer and fox darting back into the bushes when they saw you approach. Stopping by the river, you approached the water to see the small figures of fish darting around under the surface in the light provided by the moon.
You knew it was a bit of a risk. Most of the camp was on edge from Colter, and you were all supposed to be looking for ways to make money, but keeping a low profile. Between the Pinkertons and the O’Driscolls that you had all ran into in the mountains, wandering off from the safety of camp with nothing but your knife to protect you was a bad idea.
Still, taking comfort from the surroundings and the isolation the night brought from other people, you had relaxed enough to wander along the water’s edge, deciding to step out of your shoes to soak your feet and ankles in the cold water. Really, it was easy for your mind to wander back to what you were to do while the gang was settled in their current camp. Colter was a survival situation more than just a camp, it had been easy to just fall back into making sure you didn’t freeze or starve to death and keeping inside where it was warm. However, now? Well, even you were subject to a feeling of restlessness. A lot of people were, Dutch sending out his usual suspects to find what they could about their new area, while you remained in camp to keep up with the usual chores but…
Well, even the camp’s new scenery was getting a little old.
Though, you didn’t get to get caught up in your thoughts and ideas for too long before your ears picked up on the sound of hoof beats. You paused, raising your head up from where you were watching the ripples on the water toward where you could see a small group of riders were heading toward you. Quickly, you stepped out of the water and moved quickly toward the shelter of a nearby tree to watch them approach a little more. They could have just been some late night riders on their way to a town, but as they got closer you could pick up on the accents, could catch the glimpse of green to their outfits.
O’Driscolls.
...Shit.
Looking around yourself for a few moments, you decided to slip into the overhanging branches of the tree and use the darkness to let them pass by without being noticed. With a slow breath in, you listened as the horses got closer, silently waiting to hear them pass by you as you shut your eyes and prayed for a lack of a confrontation. Yet, it didn’t seem like luck wasn’t on your side.
“Hold on a minute,” one of them said just above where you were standing, “Thought I saw somethin’ over here.”
“Probably a deer, just keep goin’.”
“No, no. There’s boots here. See?”
Instantly, you shut your eyes tighter, pressing your mouth into a thin line as you tried not to cuss yourself out as you heard the horse move closer to the bank before the sound of someone dropping out of the saddle was heard. Letting out a slow breath, you watched as the figure of someone moved toward where you had placed your boots, shifting slowly to remove your knife from where you had it hidden on your person. Waiting until he was far enough down the bank with his back to you, slowly you moved out from the branches of the tree with all the attention on not making any noise.
Your focus was on the man along the bank, getting ready to make a run at him and jump on him, putting your knife into his shoulder or pressing it against his neck. However, as you moved out into the open, your world seemed to still as you heard a gunshot almost right next to your head, the noise pulling a sharp ringing from your ears as you noticed the shot landing right by your feet. Instantly, all eyes were on you standing out in the open on the bank, knife in hand, as the one O’Driscoll kept his pistol raised from where he had shot the ground next to your feet.
“What have we here?” one of them called out with a quick chuckle, the world around you moving with almost blinding speed. The man you were stalking from the tree rounded on you quickly, causing you to back a couple steps before raising the knife up and trying to bring it down upon the shoulder nearest to you.
However, he caught your hand in one of his own, slamming into your middle before you were picked up momentarily before thrown back onto the ground as you were disarmed from your knife.
“Out a little late for a stroll, are we?” one of them sneered, coming up behind you as you scrambled backward, gripping your forearm in a vice grip as you were hauled to your feet.
“She looks like a fun one,” the man next to you commented, pulling back twice as hard against the struggle you made to get away from him. You could feel your shoulder protest lightly against the counter weight, the movement threatening to pull it out of place.
Your eyes moved around to the faces of the O’Driscolls, one holding your own knife out in the moonlight as he approached, the one who shot you still remaining on his horse as he glanced around himself a moment.
“Wait” he said, speaking up loud enough to cause the other men to pause. So, you knew who the little leader of this outfit was. “She’s out here alone...not too far from Six Point where that shootin’ happened…”
“The hell you talkin’ about…” the man in front of you growled, watching as the other man got down off his horse. You could feel your arm twisted around to be pinned painfully against your back, earning you some more struggle as you twisted and tried to buck your head back to hit his in some way, yet he was keeping his distance from where you could hit him.
“Get out of the damn way…” he snapped as he walked toward you, shoving the man in front of you aside as you tried to slow your breathing as he looked you over a moment.
“So, you’re alone out here, aren’t you? Why?”
“I just wanted to get some air,” you stated, trying not to trip over your words, “I don’t like getting snuck up on, some dangerous men around these parts.”
“No horse…” he observed, “No houses nearby…”
“I don’t know what you’re--”
Your words were cut short when his hand shot out, gripping tightly at your neck. With your free hand you gripped tightly at his wrist in return, the hold on your arm behind your back tightening as you could start to hear the blood rushing in your ears. You could vaguely make out the look in his eyes and a bit of teeth peering out from the curl of his lips in a snarl.
“You’re a damn Van der Linde, ain’t you?”
“I--” you started, letting out a choked sound at the tightening around your throat.
“One chance. Where’s your camp?”
“Ahh, they’re all loyal bastards. Just kill ‘er, we’ll find it someplace nearby. Get ‘em all while they sleep.”
You could barely register what they were saying after that, feeling the pressure in your face from lack of air and the fingers digging hard into the flesh of your neck as you tried uselessly to twist in the grip they had you. They were going to kill Dutch? Good luck. However, in the moment, you were more focused on the feeling of the stars starting to appear in your vision as they continued to argue, that hold on your neck not holding up. This is it. This is how it was going to end. You were going to get strangled to death by some O’Driscolls because you just wanted to stand in the river under the moonlight.
However, as you could feel your body starting to panic at the feeling of your lungs going without air for too long, you noticed one of the O’Driscolls fall on the ground, blood seeping from his head. Instantly, the sound of gunfire filled the air as the man in front of you tossed you aside and onto the ground quickly. Instantly, you took in a deep raspy gasp of air as more fighting happened around you. You glanced up to see one of the men holding his stomach, trying to make a move for your knife. Moving almost without thinking, you scrambled for the knife and stabbed him in the chest. Once, twice, before he collapsed on the ground as you pulled the knife from his gut. Blinking heavily, you backed away as he lay on the ground, not moving.
Though, upon hearing quick footfalls heading in your direction, you turned almost blindly, bringing the knife up and swung it down. However, a quick hand grasped around your wrist, your teeth gritting against the ringing in your ears and beating in your heart until finally it sounded like the world reappeared around you.
“Damn it--it’s me! Calm down!”
The gruff voice that filled your ears was like a slap to the face, reality locking into place as you realized it wasn’t another O’Driscoll in front of you but your gang’s enforcer, Arthur Morgan, who was holding your wrist tightly to keep you from stabbing him with the knife.
“...Shit,” you gasped, blinking heavily a bit before deciding to drop the knife as you raised another hand up. Arthur let go of your wrist at the gesture, causing you to step back and place a hand against your neck at the ache there.
“The hell’re you doin’ out here?” he snapped, his tone causing you to flinch slightly before shaking your head.
“Just...left camp for a bit. Thought nobody’d be out here but some O’Driscolls rode by.”
“In case you ain’t noticed, we got Pinkertons and O’Driscolls both lookin’ for us,” Arthur replied as you couldn’t bring yourself to look at him, “Can’t go a damn day without some sorta drama.”
“It’s not my fault they couldn’t just leave a woman alone on the shore of a river!” you snapped back, turning to look toward him, “In case you didn’t notice, they were strangling the life out of me!”
“I know!” he returned, his voice raised before he seemed to take in a breath, “Damn it, I know. I saw.”
“If y’all hadn’t gone a shot up Six Point Cabin on some dead end, it wouldn’t have happened. So save it.”
“Oh, so it’s my fault?”
“It’s...no. It’s not. I just...I need a minute. I just need a damn minute…”
You turned from him to stumble over toward a rock, almost falling down to sit on it as you rubbed at your neck. You could already faintly make out the bruising on your wrist, the blood between your fingers. Looking down, you could see the mud and dirt that covered your bare feet. You let out a short sound that started as a laugh before the motion started to pull out some sobs from you, tears brimming in your eyes before you shut your eyes as they slipped out down your cheeks. The rage at the short confrontation dissolved into almost a scared relief as you let out the tension in your body. In the back of your mind, you couldn’t help but feel embarrassed at the display, bringing your arms up across your chest to grip at your shoulders.
“...I’m sorry,” Arthur said around a sigh, stepping over one of the O’Driscolls that lay on the bank of the river. You took in a shuddering breath as you tried to pull yourself back in, Arthur placing a hand on your back before he was bending down to pick up your knife. “Me and my damn mouth…”
“I was starting to blackout,” you muttered around a quick inhale, “I thought I was going to die.”
“It’s over. C’mon, let’s get your boots and head back to camp.”
Arthur was, admittedly, a little too short and to the point to be all that comforting in the moment, but you did take some comfort at the solid hand on your back and the idea of returning back to the safety of camp. Much as your appearance and bruises in the morning would raise a lot of questions.
“Okay…” you muttered, raising up on somewhat uneven footing before making your way toward your boots. “I don’t know what to do about all of…” The bodies.
“We get outta here quick, nobody’ll know it’s us,” Arthur returned, earning you a small sigh and nod as you moved back toward him once you had stepped back into your shoes. He climbed up onto his horse, reaching down to help you up onto the back before starting the short ride back to camp as you could see the sky growing a little lighter.
It would have been a great sight if everything hadn’t happened the way it did. However, instead, you were riding back into camp with bruises around one of your wrists and arms and around your neck. You pressed your forehead against the middle of Arthur’s back, gritting your teeth in frustration.
“I feel like a fool,” you muttered, feeling your eyes starting to sting, “Should’ve known there’d be no hope to have something peaceful for a night. Things had been feeling too good.”
“Can’t say I disagree with you there…” Arthur muttered, feeling his voice rumble against his back for a moment before you lifted your head, “But they...they could’ve been decent. Left well enough alone. I could’ve...not yelled at ya while you was obviously still thinkin’ you was under attack.”
“No, I damn well deserved that.”
“No...c’mon,” Arthur returned, sounding somewhat awkward but he slowed his horse, “I’m sorry ‘bout that. I am. Weren’t right, but...I need to tell Dutch what happened, but I can maybe get him to keep Grimshaw from botherin’ you come sunrise so you can get some rest.”
“...Okay,” you returned, not liking the fact that Dutch had to know, but you could understand why. It was a hop, skip, and a jump from camp. “Thank you.”
“Sure. Wish I could’ve got there sooner. Heard some distant gunshot, didn’t think much of it until I realized I was close to camp.”
“I would have died if you didn’t, so I say you arrived just in time…”
Arthur seemed to let that go and he rode his horse into camp and slipped off it to hitch it, helping you down from the back of his horse. You landed a little harshly, still somewhat weak from what happened. However, despite yourself, you leaned sideways to slip a quick arm around his middle in a half-hug.
“Really, thank you,” you muttered, “I thought that was…”
“You’re one of us, we look out for each other,” he returned, patting your shoulder lightly before you stepped back to give him some space before wandering forward into camp with him toward where Dutch appeared to be stepping out of his tent.

so ayon nga hehe
so ayon nga mga marecakes hehe narrate ko na lang nangyari today.
so i was like chilling today right im all set for school because i did my homeworks naman days before it was needed so i was like, "aight lets get this shit today". tapos karlo message me he wanted cuddles eh i was like hMMM... we just made out the other day eh and its like tuesday palang today !! i told him nalang na make it happen, not rlly thinking he would make it happen. but this mf took it as a challenge and actually made it happen.
before all that tho i was badtrip because ha made a very uncalled for rape joke and it fucked me up in the head, plus the fact na im being taken to someplace unfamiliar. i was very tensed the whole ride there. anw he didnt get the hint na it was THAT awful to me, but its aight we resolvedt it already. i'll keep a tab on this tho. for me that was a red flag.
anyways we made out in this tambayan place their family owns. basically it has a large parking lot and across that space was this little studio type housie house. the place had a large ass gate, wasnt really paying attention to what he was saying about the place because i was still tensed with the bad joke he made. anyways we went in and it was a very nice place. outside the house, it wasnt that obvious, but when you go in, it legit looked like one of those sala sets in malls with the note "thank you for not sitting" typa shit. so yeah it was nice it had same vibes with vista mall maybe because of the ceiling yellow scattered lights and of the fresh ass furniture and the whole place itself. it was a pretty decent size, not too big not too small for at least two people to share in the long run. it also had this aircon i always wanted the expensive ones u see in 5 stars. anyways it was quickly cold. there was also the bathroom that had a shower, then theres this chair where you pull a button and a foot rest will pop up lmfao. there were also two other sofa charis by the window. the window was the type then you push back up, not much windows tbh. but thats aight and reasonable since it has an aircon. i was tensed at first when the room was opened. it was obviously recently used idk maybe by his relative. WAS TENSED BRO same feeling when you enter an empty room newly unlocked by your teacher. THAT. that typa anxiety. anyways eventually joined him to sit by the small bed. was pretty much good for one big ass person to comfortably lie on, but fitted both of us nicely. didn't really bottom at that sesh so i don't really remember if the bed was uratex when weight is applied on me but it probably is AHSHDHASHDHSAHDSAHAH ok mej funny yun goiz liek- HAHA ok serious na nga hmpz. we cuddled first before doing nasty stuff. it was nice. i'd exchange all those laplapan just to wholesomely cuddle in peace and probably have a great nap together. i like the feeling the warm feeling. it was nice. yes. anyways,, yeah it was nice. cant stop talking about how nice it was because it was nice. heck... it was so nice. it was so heart heart. idc about my coochie getting rubbed, CUDDLE ME BITCH. anyways we started kissing and the rest is historyYYYYYY. jk. basically the make out routine starts with cuddling then kissing then he touches me until it reacher the forbidden softie softie, main bec he likes hearing my sexy ass moan. even before in tinder when i vm my boytoys for the first time the first thing they say my voice is smexy. cant blame them i agree. even when im alone and i randomly fake moan gat dam bro i get turned on too LMFAO. so yeah i moaned bec it was music to his ears and turned him on big time. was ngl kinda steamy when we breathe in each others mouth thats one of my favorite parts of it and also when i suck on his tongue. or also when i moan into his mouth. yep. also when he cusses it means im doing a great job. hehe. nice stuff ryt there. we pause sometimes to rest, then go aead again. i got many rounds that day. we did same stuff on the bed several times. then he pulled me so i'd be on top. im such a great top bro he aint know hoe to topppp. then was cuddling on top of him and then accidentally (wink wink) grinded on his rock solid stuff. he was turned on sabi nya shit anuyon sabi ka ah ayaw mo ok BUT THEN he was like gusto ko. tnagina pabebe yarn. anw i started kissing then grinding and he was cussing bec im so good at it. later my pants were off and later his shorts too. so we were underwear-away from grinding on directly. was nice got me tiredt. THEN HAHAH i saw this 5 peso coin by the bed and i was like eto yung token sa rides AHSDHASHDASHDHA WOF YAN TEH? tangina tawang tawa sya gago ang funny ko tlg san ka makakakuha ng kallapan na funny. tas nilagay ko sa gilid nya singko started grinding again. bet u he was grinding too. AND IT WAS SO HARD IT LOWKEY HURT TO GRIND ON. GEEZAS. so basically the whole bed was shaking. and i did my deed as a good girl to keep the music on (aka moaning) because there was no music. felt like
asmr. boring af. unlike when we make out sa car, theres always music. i like making out on the white chev instead of the fortuner BECAUSE THE FORTUNERS WINDOWS AIN TINTED what in the world was i thinking making out inside an untinted car INSIDE A PARK WHERE THERE ARE LOTSA PPL PASSING BY. anyways back to the bed, we paused, cuddled. then i was badtrip again for some reason so i got up to get dressed but we eventually made out again on the sofa hehe. legs spread again bec he liked touching there so i let him. then eventually was begging me to allow him to eat me out but i was like BROOOO NOOOO you gon taste it and it be not groomed yet in anyway but he was alr there begging looool he looked so adorbs but NOOO. i asked wala ka man benefit jan, sabi nya ikaw meron. tas sabi ko why do u wanna do it, he said he wasnted to satify me liek HNGGGGGG ok i would let you but it really not be groomed oakay NEXT TIME for sure. AND HECK the lights were on. it was daylight and the lights were on like hasdhahsdhashdas it feels liek im being eaten out at the home decor station at vista mall U GUYZ. anyways ayon. after non i think he tried carrying me for some reason. and i knew he found me heavy lols. but yeah i was a cute little moment he carried me around the room pretending its a mall and he's touring me and shit, "to your left, is the sala set, to your right is the flat screen tv..." things like that HAHAHA funny cute moment. anw later on we found ourselves sitting on the little bed again i was on top of him. he didnt want to lay down bec he alrady made the bed lol so we started grinding again sitting, me on top doing my best !! giving my all !! bec he also had a finger down there as i grinded on his stuff so it basically felt like a direct grind lols. anyways was nice. then later on we made out standing up. was kinda hard because he was 7 inches taller. OH AKALA NYO TITE SIZE YUNG 7 INCHES NOH. hinde. so ayon we were making out and he was shy to ask for a deep throat HAHSDHAHDHAS HECK NAW BITCH U TOLD ME A RAPE JOKE. so this is the part where i get revenge. he was standing there, and i was teasing him. was acting clueless, but he hinted he wanted his belt off so i took it off. was honestly confused with the belt. lol. anw i got to remove it and said, so ano next? playfully hhehhehehe. anyways ayon nga eventually me teased him everrr soooo slowly his dick went from solid-jelly-solid-jelly. LMFAO omfg will i cause him illness? omg. anwwww ayon. later on i removed his shorts as he asked. then i stepped aaway from him across the room because he was doing the shy type hands while hsis shorts was by his foot. and i LOL'd at him for a good few minutes just clapping my hands out of entertainment HAHSDHAHSDAS. then he asked me to put my hands inside, did it slowly and i told him to smile ka nga muna. AND HA THE MF WAS SHAKING. LOL. my fucking powerrrrrrr. anyways later on i was teasing out the underwear, then later i got my hands in again and then touchedt the dick *YAY* finally we got there!! anw it was only for a few secs and i told him its over HAHAHA. then i put his shorts back up again, but subtly teasing that i would suck. bec the shorts were by his ankles so i had to kneel. did i suck? no. did i make sure he thought i was? YES BITCH. and then he lay down fretting because i didnt suck his dick and then while was laying down i opened his shorts again to pretend that his dick was a computer mouse and told him "lets play solitaire, o kaya counterstrike or maybe purble place. gawa ng cake hehe" lmfao mfer be cry laughing because he dont know what to do bec he was teased. so ayon we ended that way and i thought he was bad trip bec of what i did. but he assured me na di naman like dapat lang duh. anyways ayon hehe.
uwi na kami after nakauwi ako 1. andon kami 10. hehe. hinatid nya man me pauwi. tho yung byahe pauwi di pa kami nakakalayo sa place he pulled over so i was confused bec there were no big vehicles incoming but to my surpris he started kissimg me again lol bro deins ka ba nasasawa. anw yon. was nice naman. making out with a guy from a rich fam is nice bec yall dont need to pay to rent in motels lol but still has pressure, bec if we end on a bad note, i swear most of the blgs here are engineered by his relatives. thats how prominent they are. the place we went to is owned by his uncle, who works at legazpi rn thats why the place was vacant. theyre making a mall i think idk. so thats why his uncle is making another like that na place dun. so he has somewhere to stay. like what in the wealth... its crazy how people have money. and for sure even if the place we stayed in was small, it costs millions fr. anyways ayun yung promised detailed chika ko. hehe ciao. mej pokpok nga me pero look at me suffering the consequences, may sipon na ako aside sa ubo because he had mild sipon. now my sipon is malala compared to his, and he alr is recoveredt tangina unfair. but yesterday he insisted to see me to drop off some meds and he hugeed me and cried. because i asked for a time out the night before. bec i was having a hard time. he allowed it but over thinkedt it so yeah he cried while hugging me tight in the car. and kept on saying sorry mainly bec of the sipon thing. but it was, i felt, directed to the other stuff he had disappointed me with. anyways before that sabi nya ok lang ba sayo mag punta munang emall may bibilhin lang, sabi ko naur im sick. it was bec he wanted to buy me gummy worms lol. cute. u shoulda bought them before going to me, mofo. jk. loveee u penggg.

Thursday, 5:20 pm:
WhatsApp, Team David -> Team Holidays
Kiki added David to “Team David” Kiki added 01577 6586587 to “Team David”
Kiki: Well, lovelies! Now we have everyone in here and we can start planning our holiday!
Matteo: Dude, Kiki!
Matteo has changed the group from “Team David” to “Team Holidays”.
Carlos: Haha
David: Ummm… okay… is this where the petition was planned? ;-)
Kiki: Noo, the petition was vetoed by Matteo!
Kiki: I don’t understand why the group name had to be changed.
Hanna: Maybe because it’s about the holiday now?
Matteo: *facepalm-emoji*
Kiki: Noo, I’m not okay with this, what’s going on, Matteo?
Matteo: That’s embarrassing, Kiki.
Kiki: Not at all. David can know that we all got his back.
David: Guys, that’s really nice of you…
Matteo: But like I said: Maybe a tiny bit over the top?
David: …and I really appreciate it, but like Hanna already said, now it’s about the holiday!
Jonas: Hanna and David are right!
David: (For all I care you can change the group’s name back after we planned everything :-P)
Matteo: (or not!)
Matteo answers Jonas: That would also be a fitting group name
Carlos: Well, I think that Kiki is right
Amira: Okay, guys, now all the couples are going to turn off their couple’s solidarity for a moment and concentrate on what’s important: Holidays! When? Where to?
Carlos: There’s an off switch for that?
Matteo: I think Amira is right! :-P
David: I think so, too! (And I’m not saying this out of solidarity with Matteo! ;-))
Amira: David, I like you, you can stay
Matteo: Thanks a lot!
Jonas: Okay. So: Camping? Someplace where there’s an ocean? Is everyone okay with the 2nd and 3rd week of July?
(everyone agrees)
David: The Baltic Sea would be the most obvious, wouldn’t it? Well, at least if we want to go to the ocean…
Sam: I’ve been there too often.
Abdi: Then let’s go somewhere else…
Jonas: But it’s quite the distance to the North Sea. Do we even have enough cars? We can organize some, right?
Mia: We’ll just rent some if we have to…
Hanna: Yes, maybe a van again and then another car or two? How many people are we, anyways?
Kiki: 11
Mia: So either two vans or one van and two cars?
Hanna: A car wouldn’t be bad if we want to go somewhere else once we’re there, right?
Amira: I’m also in favor of at least one car. Who has a driver’s license, anyways?
Mia: All of us, right?
Matteo: I don’t.
Amira: Me neither.
Carlos: Me neither.
Mia: Okay, but that still are enough drivers. So 1 van and 2 cars? Are there parents who would let us borrow?
Hanna: I can ask my father – if he doesn’t need his car during those two weeks I’m sure we can borrow it.
Alex: Umm… I have a car?
Mia: Oh… yes, of course… *embarrassing*
Carlos: Lol
Abdi: Haha
Jonas: Oops
Hanna: Oh, Mia…
Matteo: *sends a gif of someone falling off a chair from laughing*
Jonas: Okay, so we probably only have to rent a van if we really can have Hanna’s dad’s car.
Hanna: I’ll tell you within the next few days.
Kiki: Good – so the car-question is settled – now the question that remains is where to. Personally, I think the Baltic See isn’t a bad idea! I’d love to go swimming every morning.
Sam: Can’t we go somewhere else?
Kiki: Do we really have to go camping?
Matteo: My wallet says yes
Abdi: Yeah, yeah, if only one had a rich uncle with a house…
Hanna: Well, I don’t have a rich uncle but what about our cabin? I know almost all of us have been there before, but it’s actually quite a good idea, isn’t it?
Matteo: And we’ll just sleep stacked on top of each other?
Jonas: No! But we’ll split? Some in the house, some in tents?
Mia: I like that!
Sam: Yes, awesome!
Kiki: And there’s also a lake where we can swim! I’m all for it!
David: Cabin and lake sounds nice! Where exactly is it?
Hanna: In Heidesee – a little over an hour from Berlin. But there are only two bedrooms and one couch, but there’s a lot of space outside the cabin for tents.
David: Sounds perfect!
Abdi: Yes, awesome, guys let’s do this!
Jonas: Yes, great. Do you think your grandma would be okay with it if we came with so many people?
Hanna: I don’t think she’d mind. There hasn’t been anyone up there this year and if I promise to check if everything’s ok there and that we’ll dust off the furniture, then I think it’s okay.
Kiki: Then the question is who’ll sleep in the house and who will sleep in tents…
Abdi: Carlos definitely has to sleep in a tent – he never did that before!
Kiki: Well, I definitely won’t sleep in a tent!
Carlos: Yes, I want to sleep in a tent!
Matteo: Oops
Carlos: Luigi, are the two of us gonna share a tent, then?
Matteo: Umm… no?
Kiki: Well then… David?
David: Umm… no… *laugh*
David: I prefer sharing a tent with Matteo…
Matteo: That’s nice :P
David: That’s me…
Matteo: Sometimes ;-)
Carlos: Could you please stop flirting?
David: How is that flirting!? He insulted me! :-p
Carlos: Don’t give me that crap! As if he’s not looking at you with big eyes right now and anything he says sounds like honey to your ears X)
Hanna: Yes, so… room allocation. Kiki and Carlos can have the room downstairs if no one else wants it?
David: A tent is enough for us!
Carlos: Am I just being ignored or what? I want to sleep in a tent!
Kiki: Babe, you’re welcome to spend a night in a tent, but without me!
Matteo: Not in ours!
Amira: Sam? You and I in a tent?
Sam: Of course! *fistbump*
Mia: Alex and I will also take a tent!
Abdi: And what about me?
Matteo: There’s a super awesome single bed in the house, I can only recommend it ;)
Jonas: Okay, I’ll summarize: Amira and Sam: tent Mia and Alex: tent Matteo and David: tent Kiki and Carlos: room downstairs Abdi: guest couch Hanna and Jonas: attic room
Matteo: Luckily you two got back together, otherwise it would have been a tight fit ;)
Kiki: Perfect! Then we’ll only have to deal with organizational stuff now, like provisions and car allocation and such… I think it’s best if everyone organizes their tents themselves but we don’t need to bring 11 barbecue lighters…
David: Yes, exactly, we should allocate the things we have to get… or make a list first of everything we’ll need?
Kiki: I can prepare a list. I’ll post it here tomorrow and you can all check it to see if anything’s missing.
David: Sounds good, thanks!
Mia: Yes, thanks, Kiki! :-*
Matteo: A list… :-) Yeah, do that
Alex: Well, sorry, but I definitely won’t sleep in a tent.
Abid: Carlos, a space in a tent just became available!
Mia: Hang on…
Hanna: Oh, then Jonas and I will sleep in a tent, that’s okay.
Alex: Thanks.
