I know there's a lot of debate about the Stans' age, and personally I've calculated it as 62, so Shermie would have had to have His Son(Dip+Mab Dad) at 16 and then the twins were born when their parents were 18 or vice versa. To me, I like the thought that Shermie didn't escape Filbrick's bad parenting and got a girl pregnant as a teenager and his son only managed to be slightly better and married the mother of his children only for their marriage to not work out. Bill Cipher referencing Dipper hearing his parents fighting.
It's the consequences of Bad Parenting and Abuse afflicted by this man that's haunting the narrative.
#his son tries to be better by marrying her when he finds out#ala old sitcoms like George Lopez or the one with the Irish family#but the facade doesnt hold up#the calculations for the Stans is kinda in the air I guess its messy#but im going with 62 and 63 since their birthday is in July#gravity falls#stanford pines#stanley pines#pines twins#stan twins#stan pines#pines family#shermie pines#filbrick pines#caryn pines#mabel pines#dipper pines#ford pines#sherman pines#mr and mrs pines#mine#my post

#rangers apprentice#halt o'carrick#crowley meratyn#my art#sorry my dearest fallout followers#i like to think halt in araluen while wearing ranger-like clothes they are still a bit too fancy for a simple forester#hence the patterns#crowley is short but halt is shorter he cant be taller than 160 so his cloak is shortened#coming from an already short man bro im 170#halt is holding a scroll because the initial idea that crowley finds out when halt passes the good will to oswald#ive read those books in polish and some time ago already(though multiple times) and im currently rereading then so its difficult for me to#place how their dialogue in english would go#ive also skeched out some scenes but im really not happy with them#i have been thinking about that au a lot#ive went into a rabbit hole researching the clothes#and im trying to research stuff look at images and 75% of what i see is ai shit please if anyone knows more about irish regal clothing dm m#zwiadowcy w naszym roku pana dwa zero dwa piÄÄ#an afterthought if anyone has king halt au ideas my asks are open

everyone has to be a little less mean to themselves about not reading enough books. letting go of reading as a pride thing is the first step to relearning how to actually enjoy reading for pleasure again. it's totally fine to start with a novella or with a comic or with a field guide or with literature meant for someone younger instead of being mad at yourself for not grokking ulysses in a week. just vary your diet and you'll be good.
i'm a literature scholar, i'm the one who has to be strict with myself about page counts and citations. you all? do what you want, just read and have fun.
#seeing so much âno one reads anymore! i don't read anymore!â doom and gloom everywhere#stop that! go read a 50 page novella as slowly as you want and sleep soundly at night.#none of you are stupid. fake concept.#however: many of you are wrong#victor text#also: i was assigned ulysses. had to read it in a week#it was basically fine as long as i used the big annotated guide of What Aspects Of Contemporaneous Irish Culture Were Being Referenced Here#with a big helping of 'oh okay that would have been impossible to intuit on my own i'm so glad i looked it up'

any understanding of irish history of the last 500 yrs has to explicitly contend with ireland functionally having a caste system wherein your specific religious denomination roughly determined your class status ie. relationship to land ownership and the means of production. the common presentation of ireland being simply a matter of 'religious conflict' obfuscates that if you lived in the island of Ă©ire your position in society was nearly entirely determined by the religious sect you were born into, with some degree of economic movement (should you convert to a different sect but even then you would still be distrusted) and variability of the precise nature of one's economic status, ex. you could have some degree of land and wealth as a catholic but it was constantly being cut apart and taxed heavily, you couldn't attend school, you were often terrorized by both official and unofficial roving gangs of protestant soldiers and settlers, etc. but it often wasn't enough to simply be a protestant, you had to be anglican - a follower of the church of england - and if you were presbyterian (like most scots-irish) or from another protestant denomination your position was somewhere in between anglicans and catholics, and the rights of nonconformists (the term used for non-anglican protestants) often fluctuated depending on the material demands of the anglican ruling class, and whether it economically benefited them to gain favour with nonconformists or not. but the primary conflict was the mass extraction of capital from the catholic majority, to line the pockets of the anglican land (and later factory) owners and most importantly the coffers of the british empire. this relationship between religion and class is fundamental to having any degree of understanding of irish history
#you could be poor and anglican but the resources and opportunities you had far outnumbered those available to poor catholics#and you see a lot of this still to this day especially in northern ireland#my family are scots irish presbyterians from donegal but my grandpa converted to anglicanism so he could afford to go to school lmfao#and ive grown up w him telling me how anglicans raised anglican would treat him in the 40s and 50s in donegal and derry#and thats with him being anglican but poor and from a scots irish family... its just crazy#let alone if he remained presbyterian or were catholic#and thats the 40s and 50s

The Rightboys were a secret Irish agrarian organisation in 18th-century Ireland which, from 1785 to 1788, protested against the payment of tithes, the charges imposed by clergy from both Catholic and Anglican churches, perceived unfair rents and agricultural labourers' wages. Compared by some sources to the Whiteboys, which had been active from the 1760s, the Rightboy movement was active initially in County Cork, with protest activities subsequently spreading to counties Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Kilkenny, and Waterford. The group was reputedly lead by the fictitious "Captain Right". As with similar agrarian agitation movements of the 18th century, the group engaged in violent resistance and protest, and were reputedly responsible for four deaths in County Cork during the 1780s. The group was also involved in non-violent forms of protest and succeeded, in some cases, in ensuring that Catholic bishops "fixed maximum payments for clerical services". The activities of the Rightboy movement saw a "lull" from 1787, when there was perceived expectation of political action on some of the group's grievances. The movement was ultimately superseded by groups such as the Society of United Irishmen (founded 1791).
The Whiteboys (Irish: na BuachaillĂ BĂĄna) were a secret Irish agrarian organisation in 18th-century Ireland which defended tenant-farmer land-rights for subsistence farming. Their name derives from the white smocks that members wore in their nighttime raids. Because they levelled fences at night, they were usually called "Levellers" by the authorities, and by themselves "Queen Sive Oultagh's children" ("Sive" or "Sieve Oultagh" being anglicised from the Irish Sadhbh Amhaltach, or Ghostly Sally), "fairies", or followers of "Johanna Meskill" or "Sheila Meskill" (symbolic figures supposed to lead the movement). They sought to address rack-rents, tithe-collection, excessive priests' dues, evictions, and other oppressive acts. As a result, they targeted landlords and tithe collectors. Over time, Whiteboyism became a general term for rural violence connected to secret societies. Because of this generalization, the historical record of the Whiteboys as a specific organisation is unclear. Three major outbreaks of Whiteboyism occurred: in 1761â1764, 1770â1776, and 1784â1786.

Post-jadeGetsLaid scenario where yuu is just straddling his lap and handfeeding him food in-between kisses while brushing his hair with their fingers like a good future spouse and jade is just in domestic bliss. Just a soft moment that slowly leads to equally as soft smut because lo and behold. Yuu has been grinding on him for the past 10 minutes and saying shit like "How many kids do you want?" "Promise you'll come home to me everyday when we're married. Ok?" And it's Doing Things âą to him
đŠ©
me reading this ask:
Doing this to him??? THIS ASK IS DOING THINGS TO ME OML
Jade is living in bliss as Yuu sits on his lap, pressing the most chaste kisses possible as their hips grind into him, making him grasp at them like they're his last reason for living. Maybe they are, with the way they're murmuring sweet words, asking him questions like âDo you think we'll live in the sea or on land? I don't care as long as I'm with you.â
There's a lump in his throat as Yuu gently scratches into Jade's scalp, brushing his black strand away from his face. They're cooing, âYou're so pretty Jade, I'm going to have the prettiest husband to ever exist, you know?â
A few more sweet whispers, gasps, soft moans and he is slowly losing his resolve. Jade would be positive that this was a dream if it didn't feel so real. Even if it was, it was nice to not pine and just give in to his affections with no remorse.
The straw that broke the eel's back however were these very three questions, one asked right after the other: âDo you want a big family, Jade? Do you think you can give me twins, or maybe even triplets, on the first try? If you can, I promise you can knock me up as many times as you want, do you wanna do that Jade~â
Jade grabbed them by the waist, pushing them down into the bed as he hovered over them, grinding his dick into them with a grin and ever so slightly feral gleam in his eye.
âIs that so? Well then, we better get to work. I'm not one to disappoint, especially if you're promising to make me at daddy~ Let's aim for twins, I want to see how quickly I can give you another set after our first two.â
