was listening to IN LIFE and im crying ,,, skz made Real Good Music back then u guys 😢😢😢😢 like obv the old stuff (tm) isn’t easily beatable and noeasy is crazy delicious cohesive album but in life js works soo well in a way the most recent albums js Don’t for me 🫤 granted, i have yet to listen to 5 Star in its entirety, buttt idk from the clips and snippets i’ve heard online it’s looking uncertain

if i had to rank all 2020-2023 korean albums, excluding GO LIVE bcs we’re trying to not be TEWW biased here, in my frankly Correct opinion it’d go smth like this (things might switch up if i went into more detail and ranked the pros and cons, but not by much LOL) :

1. IN LIFE ( i don’t even listen to this 1 often but u have a banging title track and banging unit and b side tracks like cmon wtf !)

2. NOEASY ( listen it’s not js bcs this is probably the only Good title track they released since ( for legal reasons this is a joke 😪) but because it’s so sonically enjoyable like u have to see the entire picture ! even the order is important it takes u thru a slightly nostalgic journey and also i might js be a tad but emotional and biased bcs hyunjin made his return w this album and it was the most Perfect era EVER in kpop for skz to skz like

3. MAXIDENT ( ok it was a little boring for me at first i’m ngl but there’s a reason it was one of my most played albums of 2022 by my calculations ! like it lacked a lot in some places, did so much in others ( queens chill GMYTMI and superboard we thank u for ur hard work ) but it was Fun i liked it i vibed i chilled and case143 wasn’t really awful js wacky

4. ODDINARY ( i never say this on main but i absolutely abhored this mini JEJDJDJ to this day i still have a huge hate boner for it LMAO like it js felt like a copycat of the prev albums and not in a Good way i rarely play it except for when i wanna listen to lonely st and waiting for us like it’s that serious for me. also, the concept hair everything EW EW we did not give there at all i find maniac era to be a scourge on my life and everyone else should too ! it’ll kill u trust

there u have it everyone this is why u should all go stream top 3 and ignore ordinary w ur very dying breath 😢🙏

Stray Kids Give Me Your TMI Theory!

I was just re-watching the GMYTMI MV today, when I noticed something! I love making my own SKZ theories along with my friends, so I thought, why not post some of my theories here! So here we go!

In Give Me Your TMI, Stray Kids become Kingsmen to finish the mission of finding the TMI of the person they want to get close with. At first, it appears as if all the members are Kingsmen, but if you watch carefully, you will realise that out of the 8 members, only 7 are Kingsmen initially!

Felix is not a Kingsman initially! He is just someone who came to clean the place up. He doesn't really know what the shop is truly used for... He only believes it is a boutique for men, and that the people who own and run it are very cool.

While cleaning, he comes across a pair of glasses, similar to the ones that run the 'boutique', and decides to try them on.

What he doesn't realise is, that they are actually the special vr glasses that the Kingsmen use. He suddenly sees all this new information around him through the glasses.... information that he was originally not supposed to have.

When the Kingsmen find this out, Leeknow interviews Felix, trying to see if Felix can be trusted with the information. The interview also includes several tests to see if Felix knows weaponry and if he is able to identify it correctly.

Felix is able to find out the purpose of the interview, and passes Leeknow's tests.

And so, Leeknow accepts him into the Kingsman fold and gives him some more details about the mission they have.

Once Felix gets basic training, he is allowed to accompany Leeknow and Bang Chan to the mission, who focus on disturbing the facility base from outside.

However, it is clear that he is not fully acquainted with all the weapons the Kingsmen used, as he is clearly unaware that what he thought was an innocent chocolate, was infact a bomb.

This is why we see everyone being comfortable at the meeting table, looking at each other, holding conversations, but Felix is the only one who is looking down at his glass awkwardly. He is just very new to the job of being a Kingsman. New, but a Kingsman in the end.

Thus we see, that the plot of the Give Me Your TMI MV not only revolves around the 8 members going on a mission to find the TMI, but also around Felix finding his place among the Kingsmen. A story of how he joined the elite.

(My friend also reminds me: This story also feels very similar to the Oddinary Trailer, which is about Felix joining the ranks of the Oddinary members)

- I fuckin love CASE 143 so much, I‘m kind of obsessed with all the sounds on this. so many sounds and it‘s so fuckin fun.

- Chill kinda got drowned out on first listen through BUT I can guarantee it‘s gonna end up being one of the skz songs I end up listening to the most after second listen. predictable but i LOVE hanji on it

- gmytmi: i particularly love hyunjin on it and linos vocals (LINOS VOCALS ON THIS ALBUM IM)

- superboard. SUPERBOARD nyooom the RAPS are so good on this song i love when they just say anything jejwksbdbbdw and the layers of production like, i‘m pulling this apart like a croissant

- 3racha…. listen the things this song is gonna do to me. I‘m a little scared. jisung going ‚yeah i‘m famous‘ has an immediate physical response. they all kill it on this, like chans rap??? never thought i’d say this but hello yes, bang christopher chan please rap more.

- taste…. i‘m on my second listen through and haven‘t gotten to it yet and i am SCARED. LEE KNOW LEE KNOW LEE KNOW LEE KNOW (thats my entire brain rn). did he have to do this? did he have to make this so intimate i…. i‘m super ovewhelmed lmao talk abt immediate physical response. maybe i need to see a doctor

- can‘t stop. she is so FUN and bright and i looooooove the way they trade this back and forth, i love the vocals and the sounds, the production with the classic rock band bg but also that one synth line.. it so good.

I know like kpop stans get the rep that they‘ll just listen to anything their faves put out and i AM biased but i also genuinely would listen to any of these songs if it wasn‘t skz and that‘s been SO consistent with them… except maybe taste, idk that i‘ll survive that a third time
