I did draw him a bit deranged from time to time ! Though I consider most of the art as old and a bit cringe now but here's a few ! (from latest to newest, I consider the chibi one stepping out of the mirror room coffin as a bit deranged :') ) I guess I didn't draw him unhinged unless there was a good reason to/context and I mostly get inspired to draw when I listen to music so two here are related to fire themed songs + there's a mini "comic" of post GloMas Rollo unable to be near fire without physically trembling and feel unwell

Though I'd loke to draw him unhinged more often ! I just need a context or something inspiring to do so

I'm planning on drawing more of fire scared/trauma Rollo sometime soon ! But I can take other suggestions as well :)

no but like imagine sitting down circa 2022 to write the traditional "epic one-off riff with an irrelevant side character who dies horribly immediately after being introduced" for the final track of your new album and coming up with the inarguably deeply silly concept of the robot prince of auchtertool. and then you write a riff so good you can't resist putting it in the song twice (so much for one-off) and it gets so popular that you gotta lean into it. so you release the high-res art of this stupid character, and he becomes the icon of the band subreddit, someone spends more than a year making him out of perler beads, people are cosplaying him and making concept art of him, and everyone refuses to believe he's dead. he's more popular than the main characters you spent a decade worldbuilding about. so you go yknow what! he's alive actually. here's an entire single all about his exploits. and i think that's beautiful that's OUR power as a fandom. we loved that metallic idiot back to life 💖 happy release day, he has returned!
